"I'm not asking again. Where's Naka-chan?" Fubuki asked with a glare which had Inazuma stuttering out of fear.
"I… I don't know. I saw her getting taken away by the men in suits." Inazuma slowly answers, accepting her death by getting shot inside a dorm she wasn't supposed to enter.
"You mean those guys who're a part of the abyssal fleet?"
"Eh!?" Inazuma gasped as she heard what Fubuki said. "They're the enemy!?"
"Yeah. Is it true that Naka-chan was wrongfully arrested?" Fubuki asks again.
Inazuma quietly concludes after being guilty of letting Naka get taken away.
"Yeah."
"Good."
"Eh!?" Gasping as Inazuma heard what Fubuki said.
"It's as planned. Getting her taken just to lure you into a room no one's supposed to enter, in other words: my dorm." Said Fubuki while pulling a smirk.
"But why!? You're saying that she's okay with being taken away by the abyssals!?" Inazuma shouted.
Fubuki sighed, lowering her cannon and then went onto her laptop.
"Haven't you heard of an illness called the 'abyssal virus?'"
"Abyssal virus? Never heard of it?"
"They're in a form of crystallised rocks which merges in your human skin. The effect on an average human being is far more fatal than your average illness, it's a death sentence to those who're infected by it, but not instant death." Fubuki answered while checking where Naka's taken to.
"But what about the kanmusus?" Inazuma asked.
"They're the same as humans, but have more resistance due to our exoskeleton bodies inside our human skin. I was told by Akashi-san and Ooyodo-san about stuff like this."
"So is anyone infected?"
"I am." Fubuki answered.
"Huh?"
After that, Fubuki raised her long black sailor sleeve as her left arm is covered in black metallic crystals as well as having a lot of scars all over from arm to hand.
"Trust me, it hurts so much even the doctor couldn't find a cure for some infection." Said Fubuki while lowering her sleeve. "As much as I want to put on my old uniform, it would require a bandage to cover all that up."
"I see." Inazuma understands.
"Now, as for Naka-chan, I know where she's going. The land abyssal group are still on the run and they're still searching for me."
"But why are they chasing you?"
With that question, Fubuki had no clue, but knowing one reason they need her, considering that there's a lot Fubuki needs to know.
"Ahem! Anyway, I get that you're worried about her. But hear me out, I'm just as worried as you are and we need to prepare ourselves to battle." Fubuki then grabs both of Inazuma's shoulders and looks her in the eyes. "Even if it's your first day, you must give it your all. Just like how I was forced into battle on my first day."
"Fubuki-san…" Inazuma's eyes are staring which led her to see what's inside Fubuki.
Then she finally understands Fubuki.
"Nanodesu." Inazuma nods as she fully agrees to help Fubuki save Naka.
"Heh. Now let's get you some equipment and a destroyer rigging based on Inazuma."
"Yeah."
The time is now 18:15 and both Fubuki and Inazuma are checking at the same area where Inazuma is waiting for the Admiral, but this time it's searching for Inazuma's rigging on a destroyer category.
A few moments later, the duo had found a rigging with [Inazuma] written on it.
"There. Inazuma, take off your top."
"Eh!? Hawawa! W- Why!?" Inazuma exclaimed as she blushed into a strawberry.
"Because that rigging could be attached if you take off your clothes." Fubuki answered.
Reluctantly, Inazuma took off her sailor top and her bra, only to expose her bare back.
What surprises Inazuma is that her spine is more mechanical as well as attaching to her skin.
"Eh!? T- That means I'm not human anymore!"
"Relax. We're still human. We had our bones replaced with some exoskeleton machine and our brain holds some of the memory caches, meaning you can erase them whatever you want." Fubuki put all the wire plugs on her mechanical back. "And there! All finished! Now you're a destroyer!"
"Wow… Amazing."
What surprised Inazuma more is a rigging disintegrated into data as her rigging equipment had become an item such as a [61cm triple torpedo mount] and a [Type 94 depth charge projector] which are her equipment. Her mechanical back also vanished as she looked fully human again.
"So, what now?" Inazuma asked.
"Now, we attack!" Fubuki grinned as she was ready to face the enemy.
Tokyo
Inside a truck, the time is 18:55.
While the abyssal woman in a black clothing, Ru-class battleship, is driving the vehicle, in the back are a couple of men and Naka who was handcuffed and remained silent.
In front of Naka is a albino woman, the Anchorage Oni, glaring down at her as her red eyes are glaring at Naka.
"You know where Fubuki is. Answer or we'll scrap you."
After that question, Naka spits out a saliva which landed on an abyssal woman's face, causing her to be tossed to a similar wall on her seat.
"Tch. Enjoy suffering a very agonising death, kanmusu." The Anchorage Oni growled as she wiped her face and then turned towards a Ru-class driver by asking her men. "How long are we getting to the beach?"
"Well, judging by the traffic maybe we should-"
"WATCH OUT!" A hooded masked man yelled as it alerted a Ru-class to steer from some warning.
Then a banging noise occurred.
Outside in Tokyo Shibuya, a lot of shells fire as it keeps on missing the vehicle.
Dashing past the civilians that are running and screaming as well as defending each other, Kongou rushes towards the vehicle's direction, leading her to leap on different buildings and fire her turrets.
"Shit! They're too fast!" Kongou grunts while turning on her speaker and dashing on the road at the speed of a cheetah. "This is Kongou, the enemy is still on the run! I have to stop them from scrapping Naka-chan!"
[Relax, onee-sama! I got you covered!] A voice cheerfully called.
"Thanks, Hiei-chan!"
With the truck struggling to keep itself on balance, a bunch of shells from above are raining by crashing and blow up on the side of the truck.
Finally the truck collapses to its side, preventing itself from moving forward.
"Nice! Now we get her!" Kongou cheers.
But the celebration waits as a horde of abyssal dive bombers are dropping out their bombs…
On land!?
"No way!" Hiei gasped.
"Ngh! That won't stop us! Get the hostage! I'll take care of them!" Kongou punches her palm with a grin.
"Right!" Hiei leapt from the rooftop and was dashing towards a truck.
But unfortunately for her, she encountered a giant robot with a face of a monster like an abyssal, and that's only one of them.
"The hell!? Get out of my way!" Hiei yells by firing her cannons as the mecha instantly blocks all the shells. "What!?"
[Hmph. How pathetic. Calling yourselves kanmusus when you're nothing but Teitokus' playthings! Why don't you sit here and die where you should be, now sink!] A black mecha shouted, with a man's voice behind it, as he opened his mouth to shoot out some abyssal turrets.
"Tch! If it was the sea instead of land, then everyone would've been safe." Hiei grunts.
Fortunately for her, the hostage is running away safely as Hiei succeeded without letting the enemy get to her.
Now Hiei's all prepared and ready to fight like an animal.
A loud bang is coming from a distance as both Fubuki and Inazuma are running towards a smoke as the atmosphere is turning orange.
More and more explosion have caused more flames throughout Tokyo thanks to blowing up vehicles and missiles as well as bombers.
"Ngh… Looks like they've already begun." Fubuki grunts.
[This is Anchorage speaking!]
"Huh?"
"Is that…"
Picking up a speaker from a Ri-class' corpse, both Fubuki and Inazuma are listening to what's happening out of curiosity.
[Since no one's bothered to compromise, we're gonna start purging not only the kanmusus, but the civilians included!]
"What!?" Inazuma gasped.
[I repeat, those who don't compromise will be purged! Do not let them migrate!]
[Roger!] Many voices replied.
"So, they're on a purge just to get me. I bet they're cowards." Chuckling as Fubuki can tell what the abyssals want, just to spite her and her comrades.
"But that means everyone will die! We need to hurry!" Inazuma desperately pulls Fubuki's arm as she's even more worried about Naka.
"No time."
"Eh?"
"We got company." Said Fubuki as she glared at a bunch of strangers.
What stops both Fubuki and Inazuma from going forward are a group of men and women, and some of them are actually abyssals.
"So, how's the land battle? It's a shame you can't fight on water." A Ta-class fast battleship jeered as she stood with a couple of Wo-class standard aircraft carriers.
Many men and women are laughing as both Inazuma and Fubuki are surrounded by the abyssal group.
"Hehe, even Fubuki bought in a little girl and she's a kanmusu too." A man with a bandanna on his mouth laughed.
"Looks like you're going to be our next victims!" A long haired man shouted.
While Inazuma went behind Fubuki, Fubuki put her hands in her skirt pocket without a cower.
After that…
"Hey! We're just running together! We didn't realise there's a fire going on!" Fubuki lied cheerfully.
"Heh, even better! When we purge the both of you, we'll gain the upper hand and mankind will be ours!" A Ri-class heavy cruiser shouted with a grin.
"Eeh!? Why do you gotta be so cruel!? I'm just a simple destroyer who was strolling around Tokyo with a friend!"
"Cut the act, Fubuki! We know you're pretending to be the weakling you used to be!" Ta-class yelled as both Wo-classes were readying their headgear, Ru-classes and Ri-classes were pointing their cannons out and a bunch of humans were raising their guns, bats, crowbars, pipes and daggers as they're targeting both Fubuki and Inazuma.
"Hawawa!" Inazuma yelled as she witnessed so many armed individuals.
"Tch! I've been caught. Looks like I've no other choice." Fubuki then releases a bunch of data which are from her memory cache, creating a ring floating around her arms, legs and her waist as data had formed into a destroyer rigging.
Fubuki then turns a couple of [12.7cm twin gun mount model A kai 2] cannons into her personal cannons as Fubuki enters dual wielding mode.
"You guys don't even know when to quit, do you?"
"Bring it on, potato girl!" A man yelled.
"Geh! You're calling me a potato!?" Fubuki snapped.
There's one thing they're not supposed to do and it's calling Fubuki a potato.
"Yeah! Ya heard me, potato gi-" The man unfortunately got his arm instantly pulled and was pinned down in a split second. "Gh! GHIIIYAAAAA!"
A snapping noise had every group gasping in shock after witnessing what Fubuki did to the abyssal group.
"Don't call me a potato! I'm not a potato!" Fubuki glared straight at a bunch of abyssals out of malice.
"Open fire! Don't let her escape!" Ta-class yelled, leading her team to fire their guns and cannons.
Zooming past the bullets and shells as Fubuki slides next to a Ri-class and a man in a bandanna until she snaps their legs and blows a Ri-class' head off as well as snapping a man's neck.
Planes are incoming as Fubuki saw a monster dive bomber drop its bomb, causing her to kick it back up towards a plane, like a football, as a massive explosion had every group flinching.
"I wish it was the sea." Fubuki sighed as she realised how cramped this battlefield is.
"Fubuki-san!" Inazuma called.
"Don't worry! Naka-chan's waiting for you! Find her and bring her back alive!" Fubuki called before a horde ran towards her.
"But-"
"I'll be fine! You're friends with Naka-chan, remember?"
Fubuki's right, when they first met, Naka is the type who actually is nice to her comrades like they're her fans.
Inazuma will not let her friend get purged by the enemy.
"I'm sorry!" Inazuma apologises and rushes, leading her to leave Fubuki who was fighting a horde on her own.
"Don't be. I'm the one who should be sorry." Fubuki sighed as she pointed her cannon at a frightened woman who already met her fate, staining Fubuki with blood on her face. "Who's next?"
Finally, Inazuma had reached her destination, but the city had become arsoned as many people have either evacuated or are killed by the abyssals due to the blood on the ground and buildings.
"What's going on?"
Inazuma had witnessed a truck that has holes the size of shells, leading Inazuma to believe that someone is trying to save Naka.
Checking inside the truck, no one's around.
"So they got to Naka-chan before me. I hope she's okay."
After Inazuma's pray, a large silhouette behind Inazuma raised its arm which had Inazuma instantly turn around.
[Die, kanmusu!]
"Eek!" Inazuma shrieked by leaping away from the truck and was pushed by an explosion that a mecha pounded on.
After that, Inazuma makes a run for it as she pants.
"What is that!? That never happened! Is this what Kongou-san meant about them being dangerous!?" Inazuma is still panting, despite her body being able to run faster than an average human.
Inazuma realised that there's no going back, just as Kongou said earlier.
Kongou was right.
After running away from a mecha, through a burning city of Tokyo, Inazuma had found her.
Naka too is running away, but her legs are struggling to move very well as she's climbing onto a bloodstained rubble.
"NAKA-CHAN!" Inazuma yelled out as it stopped Naka from climbing.
"Inazuma-chan?" Naka gasped.
After that response, Inazuma dashes all the way towards a similar rubble before a mecha arrives and then holds out a [12.7cm twin gun mount model A] cannon.
After getting the cannon out, a mecha arrives right in front of both Inazuma and Naka, causing Inazuma to hastily dash and leap on different rubble to reach Naka.
"Naka-chan! Ei!" Finally, Inazuma slides in front of Naka and fires her cannon as it unusually causes a massive explosion that is loud and strong.
Finally data has come out of Inazuma as her torpedoes and her cannons became a part of her, materialising into her equipment.
Until something glitches all over her vision.
"Eh!? What's going…"
Then everything is dark in her eyes as some stuff is flashing into her head. It's filling up her memory cache.
???
She witnessed what happened in the second world war, having her human childhood memories and finally starting from 2013 to 2031 which shows how her life had become, starting from facing the USS ships in the 20th century to fighting the abyssal fleet in the 21st century and this time, facing something unknown.
After all the memories of living and fighting, it ended right where she sunked in 2030 during 'operation abyss.'
[Insufficient memory storage.]
Inazuma grunts as she's getting a headache. Too much memory data isn't worth remembering as it had Inazuma realising that she's been helping every kanmusus for many years.
And it includes both Fubuki and Naka.
[Clear cache…]
"Eh?"
[Cache cleared.]
Finally, everything flashed into the winter snow in Inazuma's old hometown and standing in front of her is her sister Ikazuchi.
"Ikazuchi-nee?"
What surprises her more is that Ikazuchi's eyes are glowing yellow with a smirk, giving off a sinister vibe towards her younger twin sister.
"Welcome back, my king."
"Eh?"
King? Inazuma thought that it could be some sort of prank, until…
[Downloading…]
"Huh?"
[Downloading Abyssal Virus…]
Gasping in shock, Inazuma hastily tries to cancel its installation after witnessing a virus downloaded into her memory cache which doesn't stop it from installing it.
"No… Please!"
Unfortunately…
[Download completed.]
Then, her town is crystallising all over as it too got Ikazuchi and finally Inazuma herself.
