Drools on the corner of their mouth, their growls echoing within the forest. Red eyes glinting from the dark, blinded by their lust to take their 'prey', landing on the open field they saw her unconscious body lying on the ground, chuckling as they successfully ended their hunt.
Unbeknownst to them, another pair of eyes watching their movement, amusement evident on his face. 'Hmm…' resting on the branch, lying peacefully. As the demons began to move near her, a stench began to envelope in her area as they raised their clawed hands to cover each of their noses. Vines suddenly glow before it spreads around her - making a barrier-like; before a familiar purple flower blooms - a wisteria, protecting her.
From this, their shock was evident from their faces, revealing sharp fangs, dismayed.
"Damn!" another one cursed. "That woman…we must have her!" one announced whilst the others echoed his statement.
On the top of the tree, a crow landed on a single branch, watching everything unfold before it flew in the sky.
"I'm sorry…"
An unknown woman sobbing at the edge of the cliff, her face hidden as the clouds cover the moon, yet he felt struck at her pain. 'Who?' he mused, continuing to watch her, standing just behind her. Raising his hands forward to ask her when the woman looked back on him, flinching as he thought he got caught, however, he felt her gaze go past him.
'I see, she's not seeing me' thinking as he observed her. The scene in front of him pauses, his body slowly drifting away, feeling empty on his chest. Suddenly, the scene resumes this time the woman turns his way, startling him. Her mouth moved yet no voice was heard. "Hey!" he shouted,"I can't hear you, woman!"
"I'm sorry… Inosuke"
Groaning, he snapped his eyes open revealing pale green pupils before shouting.
"AHHHHH!" lying covered with green checkered haori whilst using a yellow-orange ombre haori as his pillow, before jumping on his feet and turning to his company. Meeting familiar ruby eyes, he pointed his fingers at him and shouted "Fight me!"
'It has been 3 years since she disappeared from us…' a monk quietly wrote on the paper, his black ink staining its blank space. His prayer beads remain on his right arm, creating sounds every now and then. Purple eyes looked down, concentrating as he wanted to remember everything. Sound of light footsteps stopped near his room, announcing their arrival before the door slid open. His wife donned in her signature kimono whilst her brown hair was still tied in a low ponytail.
"Miroku" as she called his name, lifted his face to see her. Laying his brush softly, he pushed away his writing tools before spreading his arms, welcoming her with his eyes looking at her with affection.
"Sango, how are you?" inquiring about her day, hugging her tightly. The arms that wrap around her waist were lightly squeezed by her hands before caressing the beads around his wrist. "Miroku, I…I'm not." she said with a heavy heart, "I know, Sango…" understanding came with him, enveloping her more as he burrowed his head on her neck, inhaling her scent. Closing his eyes, he felt her trembling, before a sound of whimper was released from her, staying quiet as he comforted her silently.
A small voice echoed in their head, "SHE SAID…, a hoarse voice, his face full of tears. "SHE SAID, SHE LOVES US! And that, hic, to live p-peacefully, hic…Mama!"
That time, their younger companion cried loudly as he lost his mother figure. He heaved a heavy sigh, controlling his emotions, lamenting, because today was…
The day their sister disappeared.
He hears an odd sound, similar to that of a demon, his peculiar hearing knows what's on the wooden box. Gazing at Tanjiro who's arguing with their new companion, Inosuke Hashibira, another slayer; he frowned.
'Why?' Closing his eyes, he focused on his breathing whilst resting his body.
'Tanjiro, why?'
He can hear their bantering every now and then, an invisible angry mark appearing on his forehead. Sighing, he tried to relax himself, ignoring the noise yet because of his special auditory…
"HEYY! I CAN HEAR YOU LOUD AND CLEAR, THERE'S A PATIENT HERE!" piss off, he yelled louder than the two.
'Arghh, so loud!' he thought. This continued as they went down the mountain, sighing heavily. Suddenly, all three of them stop. Golden eyes look towards the west, hearing a soft voice 'come' it says. "Tanjiro…" he started getting a nod in response.
"HAHAHAHAHA!" Both look at Inosuke who donned his boar mask before dashing forward, although their conditions were not good, something - someone per say - compelled them to make a detour.
"Let's go!" Tanjiro announced.
"Neh, Miroku…" lying on their futon, his wife called him. "What is it, Sango?" turning his head on her way, seeing her exhausted yet beautiful face as a single candle provided light in their room.
Pulling the white blanket, covering their naked bodies whilst content within their arms, embracing after making love. She inhaled, closing her eyes as she laid her forehead on his chest, "do you… do you think she'll be happy?" His purple pupils gazed down on her, understanding who it was she was asking.
"I don't know, my dear…but," wrapping his arms around her, securing her as he kisses the top of her head. "But, I know that she will find happiness. And I know she'll be happy for us as well." He spoke in a whisper, hearing her hum in response as she wrapped her arms around him.
Closing her eyes, at the corner of it gathered her tears silently praying for her well-being, her left hands palpate her navel.
'Kagome, be safe…'
Soon, the candle that was lit flickers the couple's shadow as they sleep with contentment.
Arriving at the place, he dashed without thinking whilst his swords in each of his hands. Behind his mask, pale green eyes narrowed in suspicion at the vines blocking his way; due to his enhanced tactile he felt sensitive around him, even feeling the vibration from the air.
Digging his swords on the ground, he uses his total concentration breathing…
"Breath of the beast…." Kneeling, as he concentrates "…Seventh Fang:Spatial Awareness"
His visual field widened, looking at his surroundings and passing the vines only to see a woman lying on the ground with a certain glow surrounding her. As soon as he's done, his companion catches up to him, "INOSUKE!" hearing the yell of Tanjiro, he waited for them to appear before pointing in a certain direction.
Panting slightly, ruby eyes gazed at him, "In that direction, I've sensed a woman…"
"Ha?" Tilting his head on the side, before a certain aroma enters his nostrils…'this scent,' Meanwhile, on his back Zenitsu racking his brain as he panicked, "AHHHH, what if she's a demon?"
Sighing, he darted his gaze at him "Zenitsu, calm down… I don't think she's a demon, her scent…" "Huh? What scent?" Zenitsu asked.
Inosuke, who remained silent, picks up his swords. Chuckling, he pounced on the vines and began hacking them…
Meanwhile, a certain butterfly went past the vines before landing on the woman's ink tresses, flapping its wings yet the person laid unconscious.
'We hope you'll be happy…"
