Pulsing red energy roared through the street as the white and red armoured dragon soured after Mysterio, narrowing its eyes as the masked man shot a glance behind him. A wave of his hand and the dragon was forced to dive low, avoiding a series of explosions flying over his head, banking sharply to avoid the side of a building he was about to hit.

Growling to himself the mechanised dragon, pressed his talons against the brick walls, pushing off of the building with a resounding crack as he shot back after the mask maniac.

Unknown to the two flyers, Gwen was in hot pursuit, having to pause catching up to them as the explosion had caused some of the buildings to crack, the rubble almost crushing some of the onlookers who didn't even notice that they were in danger.

Honestly what was with these people and not running away from danger?

Firing another webline, the young woman swung after the two, hearing more explosions from mysterio as he tried to get away from the angry dragon chasing him.

Never thought she would say that in her life.

Up ahead, the white dragon rolled to the left, throwing a claw up as three of his metal bits shot in front of him, erecting a small energy shield to block an explosion that could have knocked him out.

Growling in fustraction, the dragon dove low, curling in his flight before shooting up towards mysterio, the mask villain unable to dodge as the dragon came hurtling towards him. The air being knocked out of his lungs as the beast's shoulder collided with his stomach, sending the man tumbling through the air and crashing into a building roof.

The dragon landed across from him, crouching low and growling as the man climbed to his feet, glaring at him as a weird mist started to circle around him.

"You won't stop me, you pest!" he yelled, throwing his hands forward as the purple mist flew towards the dragon, enveloping the whole roof as the dragon found himself blind.

Looking from left to right, the dragon just barely leaned backwards as the masked man's fist sailed just by his head. Answering back with a swing of his claw, the dragon growled in frustration as it harmless passed through the man's chest like he was a damn ghost.

"Hahaha, you can't even touch me, worm!" Mystersio cackled, turning to the dragon punishing him across his jaw. Stumbling backwards the dragon tried to find the villian, only to see him disappear into the mist with a haunting cackle.

Ducking low, the beasts barely avoided the villain flying over him, throwing his arms wide as two more explosions sent the dragon tumbling across the roof. Coughing roughly, the white armoured dragon tried to climb back to his feet, only to be viciously stomped on by mysterio.

"What a freak you are, but you can't match the great mysterio!" he cackled, looking down at the would be hero, watching the dragon struggle to breath as he continued to press his foot down on its neck.

"But I can!" another voice came through the fog. A second later Mysterio had a pair of blue shoes collide with the side of his head, sending him flying into the roofs edge, cracking the brick work as the man growled in pain at the annoying buy ruining his fun.

"Need some help" Gwen asked, back flipping to stand beside the unknown hero. Looking down at the white dragon as it climbed to its feet, glaring at mysterio as the floating bits behind its back pulsed in reply to its growl.

"Let's clear the fog first" it snarled, flicking its arms out az the bits swirled into the air, a pulsing energy field cutting through the purple fog, forcing it to clear as mysterio stood there, two more companies of him standing by his side as they all laughed at the dragon.

"Great this trick again" Spider-woman grumbled before sparing a glance at the white dragon. "Those things aren't real, so anything we do to them will just phaze right through them" she said before shooting off towards the villain.

The dragon followed after her, keeping the floating bits around his arms as the red energy pulse like miniature shield gauntlets. Meeting one of the villains the dragon watched as his shield passed through the man's body, ducking low as his fist almost hit his head as an explosion made him flinch.

Bits of his white armour cracking from the force of the explosion that was so close to taking his head off his shoulders.

"He's got a projector set up somewhere to make this all work!" Spider-woman called out, flipping over one of the copies as she shot a web at another's head, the attack actually connecting as she threw the man off balance and onto his back.

A second later she came down on the man's bowl-like helmet with a vicious elbow, cracking the glass and sending sparks and bits of wire flying around her. "Aim for the heads, their robots!" the young woman yelled as the dragon's eyes narrowed.

He was being beaten by a bunch of bots!

Shooting up into the air, the white dragon twisted his hips, kicking the masked mask in the head as the villain stumbled onto his back with a pained cry. Twisting his body downwards, the dragon shot his energy shield forward, slicing the helmet in half and destroying the bot.

Sighing to himself, the dragon looked across the roof to see the white clad woman kicking the last copy across the head, sending it towards him as he answered with a quick jab of his shield bits, impaling the helmet as it sparks and sputtered before shorting out.

Looking at the thing, the dragon watched as the body phazed away, revealing a pair of robotic arms extending from the bottom of the helmet that was still attached to his makeshift gauntlet. Hearing some soft food falls, the dragon looked up to see the spider hero walking towards him, only to see the eyes of her mask widen in surprise.

A second later the robot of his gauntlet exploded, sending the dragon crashing into the edge of the roof, a sharp pain erupting from his arm and chest as he fell to his side coughing painfully.

Across the roof, a faded image of Mysterio stood, laughing at the down dragon as Spider-woman glared at him. "Oh you little worms, you don't even know what is happening now do you?" he sneered, turning to glare at the masked woman.

"You won't get away with this!" Gwen replied, reading her web shooters as she prepared to jump at the villain. Only to be met with more laughing from the crazy masked man.

"Hahahahaha, I've already gotten away, you pests! I just wanted to enjoy watching this one flailing to play hero" the man sneered towards the downed dragon. "Enjoy my parting gift though, you freak!" the voice of the mask villain laughed, fading away as the projectors sitting at either side of the roof sparked and exploded, destroying any kind of evidence of finding the man for now.

"Hay hay, stay awake okay!" the dragon looked up, seeing the white clad hero leaning over him, looking directly at his chest as she mumbled about getting bandages or something.

"I'll call cap, she… she can help you okay" her panicked voice made the dragon grunt, slowly sitting up as he raised his uninjured hand to stop her.

"Don't worry about that" He grunted out, stretching his back out and barely ignoring the pain shooting through his chest. Looking down the dragon winced as he saw that his chest armor was sporting a massive crack, fresh blood oozing out of the white plating.

His arm wasn't any better, cracks running along the outside of his claws, if he hadn't had his shield bits there and had used his claws to impale the robot he might have lost the arm altogether. Looking up, the dragon spotted the white clad hero watching him carefully, her eyes looking him up and down.

The site of her mask made the dragon pause, a flash of memories, feeling shot through his head, making him wince painfully. Spider-woman was beside him instantly, checking over his chest as he breathed in slowly, trying to get rid of the pain in his head.

He would deal with that later.

"I…i'm okay" he said, watching as she looked up into his eyes, studying him carefully as she backed away. They stayed like that for a bit, the dragon awkwardly waiting for the spider hero to say something, anything really.

"HI, you new around here?" the spider hero commented.

Not what he was expecting really.

Gwen watched the white metallic being sitting awkwardly across from her, one of its claws holding its wounded chest with a grimace as its red eyes were shut trying to keep itself from collapsing.

"You…you could say that" it replied, trying to force a smile on its metal jaw before feeling another wave of pain rip through its wounded chest. She had a feeling she scold really use caps help right now.

But the woman would probably berate her for fighting mysterio and causing a scene and she really didn't want to deal with that right now. And hey this guy said he was going to be okay. So that's something right?

She wasn't really good at this part of the job but she was going to try! Wasn't every day you got to talk to a dragon of all things. Even if said dragon was bleeding all over the place but it still counts right.

"Who, who was that?" the metal beasts asked, breathing in slowly as its red eyes turned to her, waiting for an answer.

"What? Mysterio, he's a madman if you couldn't tell" Gwen replied, getting a chuckle out of the dragon before she continued. "I don't know what happened today though, he's not one for just mindless destruction like this, it's really weird" he said as the dragon tilted its head in confusion.

"This is normal for you, the whole crazy guy in green blowing stuff up?" he asked as Gwen raised an eyebrow at him.

"You really must be new here if you hadn't seen a supervillain before" she said, watching him carefully as he slowly stood up.

She was kinda disappointed now.

"I thought you were taller"

The dragon stood there, only like a foot taller than she was, its halo like horns not counting to its height as his eyes looked down at her in confusion.

"What was I supposed to be 12 feet tall?" he snarked as Gwen raised an eyebrow at him.

"I was hoping for that, meant i could brag about meeting a giant dragon to my friends" she joked back, getting another chuckle from the dragon before he coughed painfully. Making them both remember about the badly damaged chest he was sporting.

"Are you sure you're going to be okay? I don't know much about dragons but that's a lot of blood there" she commented, looking at the beast's chest as she took note of how most of it was now covered in drying blood…his own blood.

"It'll heal, just need to rest for a bit" the dragon replied before Gwen waved her hands above her head.

"Okay before we go any further, what do I call you, calling you the dragon in my head is getting annoying" she said as said dragon looked at her like she was crazy. She was but not as bad as everyone kept saying she was.

"I….call me firewall" his voice brought her out of her thoughts as she turned to him. Firewall…odd name but she guessed it kind of fit with the way his armour pulsed and stuff.

She wasn't a science kid so it kind of didn't make sense to her but she wasn't going to say that out loud.

"I'm Spider-woman, neighbourhood hero and menace to society depending on which paper you read" Gwen replied jokingly as Firewall chuckled in return. Hey he had a good sense of humor even better!

"I'll catch you later firewall, stay out of trouble" she said, walking towards the edge of the building before swinging anyway, wondering what would happen now with him around.

Oh well thought for another…why is her phone ringing.

Oh great…its cap.

"Oh hay cap hows" before Gwen could get anything else in the rough voice of captain america stopped her.

"We need to meet, now, downtown rooftops ten minutes" the older woman's voice said, cutting off the call as Gwen huffed in frustration. Great here comes the lecture…again

Back on the roof Firewall sat back down, wincing as he watched the white spider disappear into the distance. How did she even get around by web swinging anyway, wouldn't she break her arms everytime she shifted webs?

Before he could ponder further, a rumble made itself known at the back of his head, making him aware that he needed to find a place to rest for now. Climbing back to his feet, the white dragon painfully crouched low, his bits floating behind him before he took off into the sky.

Heading towards the more run down park of New York to find a place to hide.

A shot of pain almost made the dragon fall mid flight, forcing him to fly a bit lower as he saw the darkened alleyways he was aiming towards. Shaking off the pain, Firewall made to slow down, only for another bit of pain to rack through his chest.

Unable to stop himself, the dragon collided with the edge of a building, falling into the alleyway and disappearing from view behind a pile of trash bags and a dumpster.

Hidden from the streets and the poorer people in New York, the dragon weazed painfully before he started to fade away. His white and red plated body vanished from the world before the tattered shirt and ripped jeans of Black reappeared.

The boy barely had a second to breathe before he blacked out, hidden from the world and laying in a pile of rubbish to recover from his first fight.

And in Hell's kitchen of all places, not the safest place to be for the young brown haired teen.
