Arcee with Jack stepped into the main office. She'd never been inside one and was underwhelmed by its blandness. Not what she hoped for as Jack introduced her to the headmaster. He was a tall man in his late 40s and looked tired. His hair was going grey and the lines on his face were beginning to show. The human species with such a fragile thing compared to her previous form.

"You must be Sadie, it's a pleasure to meet you" The older man said.

"Like wise" Arcee said in response.

Both shook hands as Jack waited. Harding Arcee her schedule the headmaster moved back to his office and the two walked out into the hall. Jack eyed the schedule and was confused at first. It was an exact copy of his with a name change. It was surprising. As they walked he held it and did another look over to make sure he wasn't dreaming.

"That's odd" He said with a raised eyebrow.

Arcee looked over his shoulder and smirked. Optimus did do it after all. She thought with a smile. As they continued walking she whispered.

"Optimus figured it's best if I stuck close to you. I think of it as a scouting mission" she explained with a slyness which caught Jack's attention.

He ignored her sly smirk and just nodded. Sometimes she reminded him of his uncle who was a nomad out somewhere on this rock.

"Alright, Bells going to ring soon so let's move out" He muttered softly.

Arcee followed him loosening her posture to appear less rigid and soldierlike. She remembered her educational years fondly, anything was better than the war. Surely this would be stimulating would it?. That was the question on her mind as she and Jack entered the class.

Jacob saw Jack enter with a girl a year older in toe. Raising an eyebrow he sat close to the back in the 4th row. She had short brown hair and the face of an angel with blue eyes to round it all off. She was tall around his height and had a slim body not to far off from a super model but with some extra muscle. Must be new. He figured returning his attention back to his text book.

Arcee saw him...Jacob just off to the back look at his text book. There were two open seats back there as most students eyed her with interest. Turning her own attention to the teacher who had just asked.

"Care to introduce yourself miss Darby" The man said sounding like a hardass.

Now that she thought about it he looked like a human version of ultra Magnus.

"My name is Sadie Darby. I'm jacks cousin from Canada. Unfortunately my parents won't be attending my graduation because they're dead" She passed for a second as faces of pity and shock flickered across the audience. She was just getting a rise out of them. "Aside from that I'm hoping the score is better than the last one" She finished before going to take a seat.

"Than you be massively disappointed!" Jacob said from the back.

There was a chuckle from the peanut gallery as Mr iron looked to Jacob with a nasty glare.

"Refrain from making any more comments or I'll ship you off to the principals office" He said coldly.

Oh great this takes me back. Arcee thought as she took a seat along with Jack. She took the closest possible seat to Jacob which was right in front of him. The bell rang shortly thereafter and the class began without hesitation.

"Alright turn to page 18 and review the chapter. If you have any questions don't ask" The teacher said coldly before taking a seat behind his desk.

Arcee did as instructed and opened the text book on page 18. She did a quick skim of the page and sighed in dismay. It wasn't even as good as her educational days. She learned half of this in the second grade and the other half in the first!. Honestly what did I even expect?. She told herself as she did a quick read familiarise herself with what was being taught. She certainly wasn't going to be caught with her pants down. This was gonna be a breeze.

Seeing Sadie answer the questions without hesitation and so elegantly made Jacob smile a bit to see Iron look bewildered. It was only math and algebra was always a big problem for most students who didn't have a calculator on standby.

"Thank you ms Darby, Apparently you have the brains of the family I assume" Iron congratulated as their was a wince from the rest of the class.

Arcee glared at him with a cold stare and then looked down to her text book. Hopefully not all the teachers were asshole-ish as mr iron. If she was wrong then she pitied the the kids.

Jacob sat next to Raf as he ate a homemade sandwich he made as Miko joined them at the table. Jacob knew her but not as much as the others. He was with them because of what he did and he was happy to oblige. Miko was far too energetic for her own good and often got in trouble thanks to it. She was a loose cannon that never knew how to aim straight. One day it was going to end up backfiring right in her face and he knew it was gonna happen eventually.

"Hey Jacob" Miko said with a surprising level of restraint.

She laid a tray of food on the table and seated herself down. It was that exact moment Jack and his cousin joined them as well with today's mystery meat. She was eyeing him with feeling of unease as she looked as if she'd seen him before. Jacob was confused as he went back to eating.

"Hi" Sadie said sheepishly.

Jacob looked up to her and sallowed.

"Hey, so your Jacks cousin eh...genetics were kind to you" Jacob responded getting a laugh from Jack.

Arcee looked a bit surprised but it quickly faded out and was replaced with amusement. Jack wasn't one to shy away from joking about his looks anyway.

"I've usually lucky in that department..." She trailed off.

Suddenly Jacob reached across the table and took her hand in a comforting manner.

"I'm sure they're happy" He said warmly.

Arcee was absolutely speechless. Never had she ever felt a warm touch like this in such a manner. She nodded and he drew his hand away. Her heart was pounding within her chest as he knees suddenly felt like Jell-O. Luckily she was seating and avoid the embarrassment of collapsing on the floor. Little that she knew that Vince and his goons were on the approach.

"Oh shit" Jacob muttered upon seeing them.
