The soldiers and I fight every Hydra base taking them over one by one. Steve using his brand new Vibranium Shield while I use the new Swords that Stark made for me.
We take one every base they have until we find out that the doctor that helps Shmidt out, Dr. Zola, is on a train. We are all waiting on top of the mountain outside of the train route waiting for the train to pass.
"Remember when I made you guys ride the Cyclone at Coney Island?" Bucky reminisces as we listen in to the train.
"Yeah, and we threw up?" Steve says.
"This isn't payback, is it?" He says, referring to the zip line we have to take to get to the train.
"Now why would we do that?" I say with a laugh.
Before he can respond Jones interrupts us, "We were right. Dr. Zola's on the train. Hydra dispatcher gave him permission to open up the throttle. Wherever he's going, they must need him bad."
"Let's get going because they're moving like the devil." the soldier watching for the train says.
"We only got about a 10-second window. You miss that window, we're bugs on a windshield." I explain to the soldiers as I get ready to go down the zip line.
"Mind the gap." the soldier jokes.
"Better get moving, bugs!" Dum Dum says as I start to go down the zip line.
Jones, Steve, and I arrive on the train and make our way inside while Jones stays lookout on top. We walk inside the train and pass one cargo truck when the door closes separating Steve and I from Bucky.
Bucky starts getting shot and so Steve tries to break the door open with his shield when and a big man in armor comes into the room with us and shoots at us with ray blasters. We jump out the way and hide behind a crate.
Steve shoots at the man and then uses his shield to glide to hang on the top of the train and hits the man with it. I then stab him through his suit and kill him. We then use the gun to shoot a hole through the door and so we can get to Bucky.
We get to the cargo that Bucky is in and see that he is out of bullets so Steve through him a gun and uses his shield to back the guard into a corner allowing Bucky to shoot him.
"I had him on the ropes," Bucky says copying what Steve said when he helped us in the alley.
"I know you did," Steve tells him. Before we can relax I see the big guard from earlier standing at the door.
"Get down," I say as he shoots a hole into the side of the train.
Bucky grabs Steve's shield and starts to shoot at the guard but is blasted out of the train. Steve grabs his shield, throws it at the guard, and I threw my dagger at him, causing him to fall out.
I go to the side of the train and see Bucky holding on to the rails so I go out and try to get him. "Bucky! Hang on! Grab my hand!" I yell to him, as he reaches for my hand the rail breaks off and he falls to the ground. "NO!" I yell as I watch him.
I am sitting in the bar drinking from the bottle Dr. Erskine left when I hear footsteps. I turn to see Peggy walk into the bar, "Dr. Erskine said that… the serum wouldn't just affect my muscles, it would affect my cells. Create a protective system of regeneration and healing and also it seems it affects other things about me as well. Which means um…I can't get drunk. Did you know that?" I ask her.
"Your metabolism burns four times faster than the average person. He thought it could be one of the side effects." She tells me while she picks up a stool from off the ground and takes a seat. "It wasn't your fault."
"Did you read the reports?" I say as I pour another drink.
"Yes"
"Then you know that's not true," I tell her.
"You did everything you could. Did you believe in your friend? Did you respect him?" I nod. "Then stop blaming yourself. Allow Barnes the dignity of his choice. He damn well must have thought you were worth it." She explains to me.
"I'm goin' after Schmidt. I'm not gonna stop till all of Hydra is dead or captured." I tell her. No matter what I am taking Hydra down.
"You won't be alone." She says. "What did you mean when you said the serum affects other things about you?"
"I did some reading in the library and I found out that I am a succubus. Which essentially means I feed off sexual energy it makes me feel stronger. When I kissed Starks assistant, I felt the lust she was feeling for me come into my body so I went and read up on it and that is what I found." I explain to her.
"So you feel when people are sexually attracted to you and if you have any contact with them it transfers to you?" She asks.
"Basically yes" and then I remember something. "Like with you, when we almost kissed. I felt it on you and I was somehow able to get you to admit you wanted me." I move closer to her. "Like I want you. Right now."
"That's absurd, Captain. I do not feel anything for you. Especially after I saw you with that woman" She tries to explain.
"So if I put my hand on your thighs you wouldn't feel a certain way," I ask her as I start to rub my hand up and down her thigh.
She jumps up, "Captain this is inappropriate," She says with a blush.
Peggy sighs and leans her head into my hand "I do want you" She tells me. I lean down to kiss her but she stops me "But not now. Not while we are still fighting a war and I am your superior." She says as she gives me a push and walks away.
Steve and I are driving in the forest on our motorcycles, waiting to be captured by the Hydra agents. We came up with a plan to trick Shmidt so that we can take him down once and for all.
While we are driving eliminated as many of the guards as possible we run into a tank that starts to shoot at us. Steve uses his shield to block the way while I get behind him. He uses the gun to blow up the tank and we go around it and see more Hydra guards waiting on us. We are able to dodge most of the shots until they shoot our motorcycle so we jump off making it crash into the door and blow it open.
We fight off as many soldiers as we can, getting rid of most of them until two big guys come and surround us with flamethrowers. More men surround us and take us to Schmidt.
"Arrogance may not be a uniquely American trait, but I must say you do it better than anyone. But there are limits to what even you can do, Captain. Or did Erskine tell you otherwise?" Said Schmidt as we arrive into his lair.
"He told me you were insane," I tell him with a smirk on my face.
"Ah. He resented my genius and tried to deny me what was rightfully mine. But he gave you everything. So, what made you two so special?" Schmidt complains.
"Nothin'. We're just kids from Brooklyn." Steve says, making Schmidt take punches at each of us causing us the fall over since we can't fight back.
"We can do this all day," I say looking up at Schmidt.
"Oh, of course, you can. Of course. But unfortunately, I am on a tight schedule." He says as he pulls his gun out and points it at me, but before he can the rest of our soldiers grapple into the building. They begin to shoot at the Hydra guards, making Schmidt run.
"Rogers! You might need this!" Said Falsworth as he tosses Steve his Sheild.
"Can't leave you hanging Bailey," Jones said as he hands me my swords off Schmidt's desk.
Steve and I start to chase after Schmidt while the rest of the soldiers shoot at the guards. While we were running we see Schmidt so Steve throws his Shield to stop him from escaping but a Big guard comes with flamethrowers making us stand against a wall so he wouldn't be able to kill us.
Waiting for him to stop we hear him explode and turn to see Peggy with a gun. "You're late," I say as I walk up to her.
"Weren't you about to…" She says and then I remember that I have to get Schmidt.
"Right," I say walking off.
Me and Steve are running after Schmidt when he takes off in his plane. We think he got away until Peggy and Phillip comes alongside us in a car.
"Get in" Phillip yells causing me and Steve to jump in the car. He drives as close to the plane as he can get so Steve and I get ready to jump on it.
"Keep it steady," I say getting ready to jump.
"Wait," Peggy says and I turn and look at her. She pulls me down to her and kisses me. This is the best feeling I have ever felt and the energy that I am getting from her is amazing. I wish I could do this forever.
"Come on we have to go, '' Steve tells me. I pull away from Peggy and smile at her while she gives me a sad smile.
We are getting closer to the edge of the cliff so Steve and I move to the front of the car to get close to the plane. We jump on the plane just in time before the car goes over.
Once we get on the plane we see bombs with major cities' names on them. We turn to head to where Schmidt is and see four guards so Steve sneaks up on them and kicks one making him fall off the railings. One comes at us with a knife so I grab him by the arm pressing him into the rail then throwing him over. Steve grabs another and knocks him out and I threw a dagger at the last one.
More guards come so Steve opens a hatch and makes one fall out of the plane. I throw one out while another hops in a missile with New York written on it. We jump on it along with another guard as the missile starts to take off. We are able to get the guard off the missile and then Steve opens the hatch with his shield and I eject the other guard out of the seat.
Steve and I hop into the missile and try to fly it towards Schmidt when he starts shooting at us from his plane. He clips one of our wings be are able to make it back inside of his plane. Once the missile stops moving we hop out and make our way towards the front of the plane. We go into the room where Schmidt is supposed to be but don't see him. Then we hear him behind us and turn around in time for Steve to put his shield up.
He shoots at us a couple of times until Steve knocks his gun out of his hand then I take one of my daggers out and stab him but he pushes me away. Steve comes at him with his shield but Schmidt is able to dodge it and punch Steve causing him to get knocked down.
I jump onto his back and put him in a headlock and we toss around for a while as he tries to get me off of him and we end up near the tesseract. He is able to get me off of him and picks up Steves shield and tries to swing it at both of us but we are able to push him away he gets knocked into the steering wheel which sends the plane going straight down causing us to fall backwards.
Schmidt is able to make it back to the steering wheel making the plane go back on its path. "You could have the power of the gods! Yet you wear a flag on your chest and think you fight a battle of nations! I have seen the future, Captain! There are no flags!" Schmidt yells as he shoots at us.
"Not my future!" Steve says as he makes his way around Schmidt and throws his shield at him knocking Schmidt into the tesseract causing it to get knocked out of its case.
"What have you done?" Schmidt asks as he picks up the tesseract causing a vortex to open up. "Nooooo!" he yells as he is sucked into the Vortex.
"Come in. This is Captain Bailey. Do you read me?" I ask as I go sit in the pilot chair, trying to take control of the plane.
"Captain Rogers, what is your…" Morita starts but is interrupted
"Morgan, is that you? Are you alright?" Peggy asks
"Peggy! Schmidt's dead." I tell her frantically trying to find a way to stop the plane.
"What about the plane?" She asks
"That's a little bit tougher to explain," Steve tells her.
"Give me your coordinates, I'll find you a safe landing site," Peggy says
"There's not going to be a safe landing. But I can try and force it down." I tell her, scared of what might happen.
"I'll get Howard on the line, he'll know what to do." She suggests.
"There's not enough time. This thing's moving too fast and it's heading for New York." I explain to her.
"I gotta put her in the water," Steve says.
"No, you won do it. I will." I tell him.
"Please, don't do this. We have time. We can work it out." Peggy tries to come up with a solution.
"Right now I'm in the middle of nowhere. If I wait any longer a lot of people are gonna die. Morgan, this is my choice." Steve tells me
I mute the mic so that Peggy can't hear us. "Steve don't do this. I can do it, you shouldn't have to make this decision." I beg him
"Morgan I have to do this. It's why I joined the army. Come on. You're the superhero the world needs. You have been better at saving the world than I have from the beginning. Let me do this one thing." He pleads his case.
"Steve. No" I try to tell him but I know he has made up his mind.
"I got this. You take the parachute and get out of here. Come on, I can't lose another friend" He tells me as he pushes the parachute in my hands.
"Okay, I'll leave but I will come back for you Steve. I won't leave you hanging." I tell him as I put the parachute on. Then I walk to the mic and unmute it "Peggy?" I ask.
"I'm here," She says
"I'm going to be a little late for that dance." I tell her "But I'm going to make it" I hear her sigh relief as I walk to the door of the plane.
"When you jump count to 30 and pull the string. You are going to land in the water but it's better than being in a sunken ship. They are going to find you." Steve instructs me.
I nod my head and give him one last hug before getting ready to jump. I look at the compass I have with Peggy's picture at the top and hope that I make it I take a deep breath before I jump. I do as he says and count to 30 and by the time I land all I feel is coldness and then I am out.
Steve knocks a few guys out with his shield while I use my sword to get through as many of them as possible.
I follow after her and walk her into the bar. We are standing close to each other now, practically touching when I lean down to whisper in her ear. "If it's not true then why when I put my hand on your thigh the feeling of your lust double," I say as I use one of my hands to move the hair from by her ear than sliding it down her neck. "Tell me if you don't want me and I'll walk away."
