"Infernape, I choose you." Ash said and released Infernape from the Pokeball.
"Milotic, I need your help." Wallace said and released Milotic from the Pokeball.
"Infernape, use Dig and Flamethrower. And rapid;y increase the strength of Flamethrower." Ash said.
"Milotic, use Hydro Pump on the Land." Wallace said.
Milotic covered the Field with Water while Infernape went inside the ground and used Flamethrower which heated the field. Milotic continued to use Hydro Pump on the field but the heat was too much from the field which was becoming Lavalike. Soon, all the water evaporated and any water that fell on the field became steam.
"Milotic, use Hydro Pump to be above the field." Wallace said.
Milotic then went above the field and was staying above using Hydro Pump. But the field was too hot and soon the heat was convecting through the Hydro Pump.
"Milotic, use Hydro Pump rapidly and as fast as you can." Wallace said.
Milotic was using Hydro Pump as fast as possible which made it move higher which stalled the heat to reach Milotic but the temperature of the ground was increasing rapidly and soon the ground was so hot that the heat rapidly traveled through the Hydro Pump to reach Milotic. Milotic soon could not bear the heat and fainted.
"Whiscash, I need your help." Wallace said and released Whiscash from its Pokeball.
"Whiscash, use Muddy Water to be above the field and Rain Dance." Wallace said.
Whiscash used Muddy Water which helped Whiscash to be above the field. The heat was slowly moving as the Mud was not allowing Heat to pass as fast as water allowed. Whiscash also used Rain dance which increased the strength of Muddy Water. However, Lava was building up where the Muddy Water was hitting which was filling the field.
Soon the heat was turning the water into steam and the steam was so hot. Whiscash had Ground-type which helped it to bear the Steam it was emitting.
"Whiscash, use the Muddy Water in Pulses." Wallace said.
Whiscash used Muddy Water just for some time and then it would use it again while falling in between the pulses of Muddy Water.
"Infernape, come back to the ground and use the Flamethrower on Whiscash directly." Ash said.
Infernape returned from the ground and was glowing in a Violet Colour which surprised Wallace.
"Infernape is handling so much heat!" Wallace says surprised.
Infernape used Flamethrower directly on Whiscash which tried to flee but it lost health so rapidly that it fainted.
"Wallace, you are good enough that I had to change my strategy." Ash said.
"Whiscash, return." Wallace said and returned Milotic to the Pokeball.
"Gyarados, I need your help." Wallace said and released Gyarados from its Pokeball.
"Gyarados, use the Hydro Pump in Pulses." Wallace said.
Gyarados tried to stay above the ground but was hit by Infernape's Flamethrower which was so hot that Gyarados soon fainted.
"Gyarados, return." Wallace said and returned Gyarados to the Pokeball.
"Tentacruel I need your help." Wallace said.
"Infernape, go back to the ground and increase the momentum of Flamethrower rapidly." Ash said.
"Tentacruel, use Brine in Pulses to stay above the ground." Wallace said.
Tentacruel was using Brine in Pulses which meant the salt was collecting in the ground. Infernape used Flamethrower which had such momentum that the Lava was bubbling upwards and was hitting Tentacruel.
"Tentacruel, cover yourself using Brine while using Brine to stay above in pulses." Wallace said.
Tentacruel made a shield using Brine around itself while using Brine in pulses to stay above. But Lava was so hot that Air was becoming heated up and the Air was heating Tentacruel so much that Tentacruel soon fainted.
"Tentacruel, return." Wallace said and returned Tentacruel to the Pokeball.
"Ludicolo, I need your help." Wallace said throwing his Pokeball as high as possible. Ludicolo released very high from the ground.
"Ludicolo, use Scald in Pulses to stay above the ground." Wallace said.
Ludicolo was very high above the ground for the Air to heat him. While Scald made Ludicolo have the ability to tolerate some high temperatures, that was a far cry from the temperature of the lava field.
"Infernape, use the Flamethrower as a narrow beam. And move rapidly across the field" Ash said.
Infernape used Flamethrower as a narrow beam and so Lava was moving higher upwards like a beam of Lava. This was still not enough for the Lava to hit Ludicolo so Infernape moved around the field rapidly and now Infernape moved so rapidly that when Lava hit Ludicolo for just a very short while, Ludicolo lost health rapidly.
"Infernape, jump from the Lava and use Flamethrower directly on Ludicolo." Ash said.
Infernape came above the ground and then jumped using Flamethrower and then saw Ludicolo. Infernape used Flamethrower directly for a little while and Ludicolo used Scald which was pushed back while Flamethrower hit Ludicolo. Ludicolo was hit by Flamethrower and lost health rapidly and soon Ludicolo fainted.
"Ludicolo, return." Wallace said and returned Ludicolo to the Pokeball.
"Wailord, I need your help." Wallace said and released Wailord from the Pokeball.
"Wailord, use Water Spout in Pulses to stay above the ground." Wallace said.
"Infernape, use Flamethrower directly on Wailord." Ash said.
Wailord stayed quite above the ground and Infernape used Flamethrower directly on Wailord. The Flamethrower was so hot that despite Wailord being very huge, the Flamethrower heated the whole body of Wailord, and Wailord soon fainted.
"Wailord, return." Wallace said and returned Wailord to the Pokeball.
"So with this, the Winner of the match is Ash." Lorelei said. Ash and Infernape made the victory sign. The audience roared in Applause at the win.
"Infernape, return." Ash said and returned Infernape to the Pokeball.
Ash left the field and then Lorelei left the field. The audience was leaving the stadium while talking about the match they saw. Ash and Lorelei then walked around the building which had many shops.
"It looks like the Champions were mostly pushovers compared to the gym leaders. Looks like they slacked off except for Wallace who was motivated as he recently lost to Steven who became the Hoenn Champion." Lorelei said.
"You are right as the toughest match I was in was with Misty and then Viola, Skyla, and Wallace," Ash said.
Ash and Lorelei then left the building and then Lorelei released Articuno and then Ash and Lorelei embarked on Articuno. Articuno then flew across the sea and then flew through the Mountains to reach the high valley and Articuno then disembarked next to the slope in the High Valley. Ash and Lorelei disembarked from Articuno. Ash and Lorelei then sat next to each other, stargazing at the clear night sky which had many stars visible. Ash and Lorelei ate their dinner which was berries and then Ash and Lorelei slept.
It became morning and Lorelei woke up. After some time, Ash woke up. Ash found that he grew some more and had some nice Muscle definition. Ash and Lorelei then ate some berries as their breakfast while looking at the sun rising from the mountains.
"Articuno, I need you." Lorelei said and released Articuno.
Ash and Lorelei then embarked on Articuno which flew across the Mountains and Sea for some time before reaching Ringtown. Articuno then landed next to the Pokemon World Tournament building and then Ash and Lorelei disembarked from Articuno. Lorelei then returned Articuno to the Pokeball. Ash and Lorelei then went inside the Pokemon World Tournament building.
"So the winner is Iris in the match of Lance vs Iris. So the semi-finalists are Ash, Iris, Leon, and Diantha. Ash vs Iris will take place soon." the Announcer said.
"Dragons are super effective against other Dragons. Another type that shares this is Ghost-type. You can use a Dragon-type for the next match." Lorelei said.
"Thanks for the information you gave." Ash said.
"No problem. Your Pokemon would be very strong now as they are training in the new training arena." Lorelei said.
"Thanks for providing the training arena." Ash said.
Ash and Lorelei went to the stadium's VIP section and waited for the next match.
