Ash saw Iris also waiting for the match in the VIP Section. Ash then went to her.
"Hey, Iris." Ash said.
"Ash, how are you? I have gotten very strong in Pokemon Battling recently." Iris said.
"Very good. I also have gotten quite strong in Pokemon Battling very recently." Ash said.
"So we would meet again on the battlefield to see who is stronger." Iris said.
Ash and Lorelei waited for some time and then there was an announcement.
"The next match would be Ash vs Iris. The battlers can come to the field now." the announcer said. Ash and Iris went from the VIP Section down the stairs and walked to go to the field. Ash and Iris took their positions in the field.
"The match between Unova Champion Iris and Alola Champion Ash starts now." the announcer said.
"Ngannadel, I choose you." Ash said and released Naganadel from its Pokeball.
"Lapras, you are needed." Iris said and released Lapras from its Pokeball.
"Naganadel, use Thunderbolt." Ash said.
"Lapras, return and Aggron, I need you and use Earthquake." Iris said and returned Lapras and released Aggron.
Aggron used Earthquake to set a series of rocks to attack against Naganadel and the Thunderbolt which held out for a little while before Naganadel's Thunderbolt passed through the Earthquake and hit Aggron which fainted very fast.
"Aggron, return and Salamence, I need you and use Draco Meteor." Iris said and returned Aggron and released Salamence.
Salamence used Draco Meteor by releasing a meteor very high in the sky and making a continuous heavy downpour of Meteor fragments. Naganadel was able to stay without flinching in the face of the Draconic energy and used Dragon Pulse against Salamence. Salamence soon fainted due to the power of Dragon Pulse.
"Salamence, return and Hydreigon, I need you and use Dragon Pulse." Iris said and returned Salamence and released Hydreigon.
Hydreigon used Dragon Pulse against Naganadel. Naganadel found the Dragon Pulse attack to be a little strong but not enough to make it lose significant strength. Naganadel used Dragon Pulse on Hydreigon and Hydreigon tried to flee but the Dragon Pulse followed Hydreigon to cover with the powerful Draconic Energy and soon Hydreigon fainted.
"You are so much stronger, Ash. I am surprised to see such strength." Iris said.
"Thanks for the compliment." Ash said.
"Hydreigon, return and Haxorus, I need you and I trust you and use Outrage." Iris said and returned Hydreigon and released Haxorus.
Haxorus released and used Outrage on Naganadel. Naganadel was taken aback by the strength of Haxorus. Ash thought "Trust can be very strong and can help in battles.". Haxorus managed to make Naganadel lose si
"Naganadel, remember the good moments from when I took care of you as a Poipole who came from the egg. We can win. Use Dragon Pulse on the Outrage energy." Ash said.
Naganadel then tried to use Dragon Pulse to defeat Haxorus ad Naganadel was able to slow the approach of Outrage but then over time, Naganadel was overwhelmed by the Outrage. Ash then used his Aura. Naganadel then found the needed energy and then used the Aura-powered Dragon Pulse.
Naganadel then was able to slow, then stop, and then reverse the flow of Outrage and then used Dragon Pulse on Haxorus and Haxorus held for some time while trying to flee. Haxorus was tracked by Naganafel using Dragon Pulse and at some time Haxorus fainted.
"Haxorus, return and Archeops, I need you and use Endeavor." Iris said and returned Haxorus and released Archeops.
Naganadel continued to use Dragon Pulse which made Archeops lose health and then Naganadel felt Endeavor which was such a blast of energy that it was just about to faint while Archeops fainted. Ash saw this and used his Aura to recover Naganadel's health.
"Archeops, return and Lapras, I need you and use Blizzard." Iris said and returned Archeops and released Lapras.
Lapras used Blizzard against Naganadel who was healing. Since the Blizzard was falling from above, Naganadel was vulnerable while his health was so less while still being healed that Naganadel could faint. Naganadel used Dragon Pulse against Lapras who held out for a little while and rapidly lost health while Naganadel was being healed while being hurt by Blizzard.
Ash soon ramped up his healing and Ash's healing helped Naganadel to hold out against Blizzard as Naganadel was slowly losing health due to healing slowing the damage from Blizzard and Naganadel was continuing to rapidly increase the strength of Dragon Pulse while Lapras lost health rapidly due to the power of Dragon Pulse and Lapras soon fainted and Naganadel was just able to hold off from fainting due to the healing.
"Lapras, return." Iris said.
"Ash, the Alola Champion defeated Iris, the Unova Champion." the announcer said.
Ash left the stage and Ash and Lorelei then went to the healing center.
"Do you need your Pokemon healed? Nurse Joy asked.
"I need my Naganadel healed." Ash said and gave Naganadel's Pokeball to Nurse Joy.
Nurse Joy then took Naganadel's Pokeball and then went and healed Naganadel and then Nurse Joy returned.
"Your Naganadel is fully healed." Nurse Joy said and gave Naganadel's Pokeball to Ash.
"Thanks for the help." Ash said.
"I am ready to help if the need arises." Nurse Joy said.
Ash and Lorelei then went to the stadium where the finals would soon take place. After reaching the stadium, Ash and Lorelei then went to the VIP area.
There was the match of Leon vs Diantha taking place and Leon and Diantha were down to their last Pokemon, Charizard, and Gardevoir. Charizard was in the Gigantamax Charizard form and Gardevoir was Mega Evolved to be Mega Gardevoir.
"Gardevoir, use Moonblast." Diantha said.
"Charizard, use G-Max Wildfire." Leon said.
Gardevoir made a large Moonblast Sphere and released it to the sky while Gardevoir was being hit by G-Max Wildfire. Gardevoir held out against G-Max Wildfire while Charizard fainted due to Moonblast.
"Diantha, the Kalos Champion defeated Leon, the Galar Champion." the announcer said.
"I was the strongest trainer in the world and I still lost. Diantha, you have proven to be an amazing trainer." Leon said.
"I am happy for the compliment." Diantha said.
"In half an hour, the finals between Ash, the Alola Champion, and Diantha, the Kalos Champion would take place." the announcer said.
Ash and Lorelei were waiting and they saw Diantha and Leon leaving the field. Then in some time, Diantha came to the VIP Room. Diantha then went to Ash.
"Ash, you have grown a lot stronger. I hope you continue to become stronger." Diantha said.
"Thank You for your kind words. I wish the same for you." Ash said.
"Lorelei, are you traveling with Ash and helping him grow stronger?" Diantha asked
"Yes, I am training him to be stronger." Lorelei said.
"Lorelei, I congratulate you for being the Master Champion. You do look attractive and so have you ever considered becoming a Model or an Actress?" Diantha asked.
"Thanks for complimenting me on battling skills and beauty. I have not considered becoming an actress due to my schedule to grow stronger as a trainer and I like to learn more knowledge rather than spending time to get a good pic for being a model or spending time to have the best performance in a movie cut." Lorelei said.
"I understand your reasons as it can be tiring to perform the same action many times for a good video or to try the same pose many times for a model picture. I also commend you on your interest in gaining knowledge." Diantha said.
"Thank you for commending me. I also recommend you to learn more." Lorelei said.
"I will try to learn more knowledge." Diantha said.
Ash and Lorelei then ate their Lunch which was berries in the VIP Room.
"The match between Ash, the Alola Champion, and Diantha, the Kalos Champion would start now. I call on Ash and Diantha to come to the field." the announcer said.
Ash and Diantha left the VIP Room and then climbed down the stairs and then Ash and Diantha walked to reach the field. Ash and Diantha took their positions in the field.
