"The match between Kalos Champion Diantha and Alola Champion Ash starts now." the announcer said.
"Hawlucha, come for battle." Diantha said and released Hawlucha.
"Lucario, I choose you." Ash said and released Lucario.
"Hawlucha, use Swords Dance and Flying Press together." Diantha said.
"Lucario, use Aura sphere as a beam and increase its strength rapidly." Ash said.
Lucario Mega Evolved to Mega Lucario using Ash's Aura. Hawlucha jumped up high and used the Flying press while dancing in the Press which was increasing the power of the Flying Press rapidly. Lucario used Aura sphere as a beam on Hawlucha and Hawlucha was able to hit Lucario still due to Diantha's high trust. Lucario still did not lose a lot of health. Hawlucha however lost a lot of health. Lucario was able to track Hawlucha while it did a second jump and used Aura Sphere as a beam which lead to Hawlucha losing health rapidly and then Hawlucha fainted.
"Hawlucha, return." Diantha said and returned Hawlucha to the Pokeball.
"Gourgeist, come for battle." Diantha said and released Hawlucha.
"Gourgeist, use Phantom Force, Shadow Sneak, and Seed Bomb together." Diantha said.
Gourgeist used Phantom Force to disappear and then used Shadow Sneak which made the speed of applying the move very fast along with Phantom Force and Seed Bomb.
"Lucario, use Aura Sphere as an expanding bubble." Ash said.
Lucario used Aura Sphere around himself and had the Aura Sphere bubble rapidly expand outward. Gourgeist was getting hurt whenever Gourgeist reappeared as the whole field was filled with the Aura which was rapidly pushing outwards with high pressure. Gourgeist then was rapidly losing health while hitting Lucario which led to Lucario losing little health and Gourgeist losing a lot of health.
"Gourgeist, return." Diantha said and returned Gourgeist to the Pokeball.
"Goodra, come for battle." Diantha said and released Goodra.
"Goodra, use Focus Blast as a bubble along with Muddy Water and Dragon Pulse." Diantha said.
Goodra used Focus Blast as an expanding bubble while using Muddy Water to disrupt Lucario and make it trip and using Dragon Pulse to mix with Focus Blast energy so that more energy moves towards Lucario. Lucario's footing was slipping due to Muddy Water.
"Lucario, jump and use Aura Sphere expanding bubble to stay above ground." Ash said.
Lucario tried to jump but fell at first. Lucario lost a little health due to slipping. Lucario tried again to jump and then jumped. Lucario then used Aura Sphere as a bubble that hit the ground to push Lucario to stay above the ground without falling.
Goodra's Focus Blast expanding bubble was in some time being slowed, then stalled, and then reversed by Lucario's Aura Sphere expanding bubble to push towards Goodra. The combined energy of Aura Sphere and Focus Blast along with Dragon Pulse pushed towards Goodra made Goodra faint.
"Goodra, return." Diantha said and returned Goodra to the Pokeball.
"Tyrantrum, come for battle." Diantha said and released Tyrantrum.
"Tyrantrum, use Earthquake and Head Smash together." Diantha said.
Tyrantrum used Earthquake and increased the strength with Head Smash which made the ground break and the rocks move as a ground wave in the air. The expanding Aura Sphere then soon pushed against the ground wave and then in some time stop the motion and then Aura Sphere expanding Bubble hit Tyrantrum. Tyrantrum lost a lot of health rapidly and then soon fainted.
"Tyrantrum, return." Diantha said and returned Tyrantrum to the Pokeball.
"Aurorus, come for battle." Diantha said and released Aurorus.
"Aurorus, use Light Screen and Reflect to protect yourself while using Thunder and Blizzard together." Diantha said.
Aurorus used Light Screen and Reflect to protect itself and made a Blizzard which had Thunder attacks coming from the Blizzard. Blizzard and Thunder were disintegrating in Air but still, the Thunder hit Lucario which made Lucario lose some health. The Aura Bubble hit Aurorus's Light Screen and broke the Light Screen and Reflect in some time. The Aura Bubble then hit Aurorus which made Aurorus lose health rapidly and then Aurorus soon fainted.
"Aurorus, return." Diantha said and returned Aurorus to the Pokeball.
"Gardevoir, come for battle." Diantha said and released Hawlucha.
"Gardevoir, use Moonblast and Psychic together as a thin beam." Diantha said.
Mega Energy from Dianths's Key Stone made Gardevoir to Mega Evolve. Gardevoir used Moonblast as a beam made to be as thin as possible and Psychic along with the Moonblast. The combination managed to hit Lucario while the Aura Sphere made Gardevoir just lose some health as Gardevoir was stopping itself from losing a lot of health due to the bond Gardevoir had with Diantha.
The thin beam energy made Lucaio feel pain as the energy was hitting a small area and was making Lucario lose a lot of health while making Lucario falter in using Aura Bubble.
"Lucario, use Aura Bubble and Steel beam as a Bubble." Ash said.
Lucario used Aura Beam and Steel Beam as a Bubble and the increased energy made the combined bubble hit Gardevoir which made Gardevoir lose health slowly and reduced the strength of the thin beam of Psychic and Moon Blast as the force of Moon Blast was stopped by combined bubble. Lucario was in some time able to stop the Psychic thin beam. Gardevoir was losing health rapidly for some time and Gardevoir soon fainted.
"Gardevoir, return." Diantha said and returned Gardevoir to its Pokeball.
"Ash, the Alola Champion defeated Diantha, the Kalos Champion. Ash is the winner of the Champion League." the announcer said.
"We won the Champion League!" Ash shouted and Lucario made a victory sign. Ash then went and hugged Lucario.
"Congratulations on winning the Champions League." Diantha said.
"Thank You, Diantha for an exciting match! You were very strong." Ash said.
"Thank You for the compliment." Diantha said.
"Lucario, return." Ash said and returned Lucario to the Pokeball. Ash and Diantha then left the field.
Ash and Lorelei then went to the other field and then the VIP area. They saw Lance battling Leon. Charizard was in the Gigantamax Charizard form fighting Dragonite.
"Dragonite, use Draco Meteor." Lance said.
"Charizard, use G-Max Wildfire." Leon said.
Dragonite made a large Draco Meteor Sphere and released it to the sky while Dragonite was being hit by G-Max Wildfire. Dragonite held out against G-Max Wildfire while Charizard fainted due to Draco Meteor.
"Lance, the Kanto, and Johto Champion defeated Leon, the Galar Champion." the announcer said.
"I won against you before and you won against me now. It was an amazing battle." Leon said.
"I am happy for the compliment." Lance said.
Leon and Lance then left the field.
Ash and Lorelei then left the VIP Area and then climbed down the stairs and then Ash and Lorelei then walked to the other stadium.
Lorelei came to Ash's side of the field. The field then was changed to become an award-giving area. Lorelei then went to the place where the awards were placed.
"This marks the close of the first iteration of Champions League. I would be awarding the top 3. Alola Champion, Ash come to the stage to receive the prize." Lorelei said.
Ash then went to the stage and Ash was given the Gold Trophy by Lorelei.
Ash was then given the Champion Badge which meant he can battle the Elite Masters even if he lost to the Master Champion without taking part in the Champions League.
"Thank you for the trophy." Ash said.
"You deserve the trophy for your skills." Lorelei said.
Diantha then went to the stage and was given the Silver Trophy by Lorelei.
"I am honored to be given this trophy." Diantha says.
"I am happy that you are honored to receive the trophy." Lorelei said.
Lance then went to the stage and was given the Bronze Trophy by Lorelei.
"You used to be the First Elite Four in Kanto. Now you have become so strong as the Master Champion. I congratulate you for your success and thank you for this trophy." Lance said.
"Thank you, Lance, the Kanto, and Johto Champion for the compliment." Lorelei said.
"This marks the end of the award ceremony of the First Champions League. There would be many to come afterward. With this, I close the first Champions League." Lorelei said.
Ash and Lorelei then left the field and Ash and Lorelei then left the building and then Lorelei released Articuno and then Ash and Lorelei embarked on Articuno. Articuno then flew across the sea and then flew through the Mountains to reach the high valley and Articuno then disembarked next to the slope in the High Valley.
