The two villains sat together in silence on opposite sides of a square table. They had been enjoying a quiet, candlelit dinner together on the Wreaker, but the mood had been ruined with the news that their latest scheme together had been foiled. Hacker was sat back in his chair, eyes dark and grumbling under his breath.
A smirk came to Wicked's lips as she rolled her eyes. It was too bad he had almost no magical talent because what he was muttered sounded like the curse of the century. She put her hand over his and picked it up.
"Forget about those kids. And Motherboard," she said, forcefully. "We were having a romantic evening and we're not going to give them the satisfaction of ruining it." She yanked on his arm and led him away from the table. "We'll get them next time," she said, a sinister gleam in her eye as she squeezed his hand, maybe harder than she meant. "In fact, I might already have and idea."
"Do share, Wicked, dear," the supervillain said, raising an eyebrow. Her enthusiasm had brought the mood back somewhat. Realizing what she wanted he put a hand to her waist as she rested hers on his shoulder.
As they started circling the room, ballroom style, Wicked beckoned him closer with a finger. What she whispered in his ear caused a gleeful smile to come to his face and he let out a malicious cackle. "We'll call it a date, my lovely, talented Wicked~"
