Hey, guess what?! The sequel, Huntress Crusaders is up on my account! Go check it out if you want!
But, here, I'll give some final thoughts.
Maria was the best choice for a Joseph Joestar stand-in. Her Preflexes ability was pretty cool and made her the best choice for it. She also was the best to be cocky. Though, I suppose she's a lot more flirty than Joseph, even his manga counterpart. Now, is she a cheater like Joseph? Probably not, especially since I don't plan on dealing with that part anyway.
Robyn and Fiona were picked because I could use them in future parts and they had political careers. Will Robyn gain her semblance? Well, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.
Salem was obviously the best choice for the Grimmlords. It couldn't be anyone else. I love the concept I went with of her being more slender than the others, almost giving her Freeza vibes, sans the transformations. I did mention this already, but her Grimm ability is based off of a Gardevoir. But, another fun fact is her transformation, original name, and the home of the Grimmlords' species are all references to The Magician's Nephew. Also, I wanted to be different than Jojo in her 'death'. Originally, I was just going to freeze her in ice, but I didn't think it would make sense. So, the center of the planet it was.
Hazel, I think was the 'goodest' of the Grimmlords, similar to in canon. He also spoke of honor and doesn't care for death like the rest, making him almost a contrast. But, I think that works in his favor here.
Oscar... well, I'm not shy about how I hate him as a character in canon. But, that wasn't why he was the Caesar stand-in. No, that was just because of his connection to Ozpin. I think it's cool when I can tie story beats from the show to match those of the story.
Glynda was fun and I think the best choice for Lisa Lisa. A stern, yet patient woman who must now put up with her daughter learning under her and flirting with her. All the better when Maria finds out later.
Lionheart was going to be the Straizo stand-in from the beginning, but I was actually surprised when Ironwood took a similar approach. But, I didn't care for him much anyway, so I decided to keep it as Lionheart.
I must say, the teaser at the end of Part Two was the one that hooked me the hardest. I was super hyped when I watched Battle Tendency and I saw the coffin and Jotaro in the cell. I wanted to replicate that feeling, but also tie in several things from this part and the previous, such as the White Fang from part one and the blade Maria saw on the mural. We'll see them be put to use in the next part. I hope you enjoyed this parody and I hope to see you in Huntress Crusaders
