Well, this is the next chapter. I hope anyone that is reading enjoys this. I'm still finding ways to improve my writing, but I hope this is good enough. Now then, I won't waste any more time talking here. Just want to say that regarding a schedule, I don't really have one. I just write and post whenever I have the time or feel like it. Now, onto the story!
Manpupuner Rock Formations, Russia
Amhuluk awoke with a start. The giant kaiju let out a confused groan as he woke up. His ten yellow eyes all blinked simultaneously. His surroundings... were different. The Inundator expected this. However long he was awake, the land around him surely would change. Although, as his yellow eyes took in the sights around him, he noticed that something was off... Something wasn't right...
When Amhuluk went into slumber, he remembered not grey, flat surfaces. No... Something isn't right... What is this? He reached out one of his forelimbs to feel and figure out what this gray... thing is.
His forelimb made contact with the grey material. As his four digits moved across the flat and weird surface, it left... unnatural. He would know. The Inundator's body is made of vegetation. Whatever this is... it is not natural. He slowly moved his head towards the grey thing. It doesn't look edible. But there is one way to know for sure.
Amhuluk lunged forward, opening his jaws. His needle-like teeth sunk through the grey material easily. As his tongue ran over the surface, he gagged. Retreating his head, he thought about this. Whatever it is, it is surely not edible. It does break easily, as evidenced by the holes left from the bite. Turning around, Amhuluk realized something.
The demonic-looking creature was completely surrounded by this thing. Encased. No. That won't keep him locked up. He let out a freakish roar that all nearby could hear. "Yeeaaahkggh!" With one swipe of a clawed forelimb, one of the walls came crashing down in a heap of rubble, leaving a gaping hole in the middle. Amhuluk rushed through the opening, roaring.
As the Monarch facility went into lockdown, Amhuluk began to rampage. The concrete and metal walls of Outpost 66 did nothing to stop the kaiju. The futile attempt of armed soldiers firing bullets at the creature did nothing.
As Amhuluk broke out of the outpost, the ruins of the place that once confined him left survivors. They called the Russian military.
While the Inundator began to flee, his thoughts were overtaken. A roar filled the air around him once the adrenaline and anger wore off. It was an Alpha Call. One demanding subservience. Domination. One demanding acknowledgment. Who this new Alpha was, Amhuluk didn't know. He did not recognize the roars. He went along with it. After all, not listening to the Alpha usually ends badly.
Although, the roar also came with an order. One to destroy. Nothing but destruction. Against some creatures. Perhaps the small biped things he found in the place that held him. The ones that locked him up? Sure. Amhuluk snarled. He would gladly listen to this new Alpha.
Somewhere in Texas, United States
Kamacuras had just woken up. The giant mantis was still groggy. Despite being one of the Titans, it was ridiculously tiny compared to kaiju like Godzilla or Ghidorah. His bluish-green body slowly began to move. As his buggy yellow eyes took in the sights around him, the mantis noticed that something was wrong.
There was some sort of flat, grey, surface completely surrounding him. Except for above him. Upwards, Kamacuras could see that there was an opening. The blue sky above was practically calling for him to fly through the air.
Was this meant to be a trap? Ha! A pathetic one, maybe. I wonder what idiotic creature thinks that this would hold him? The giant mantis spread open his outer shell, revealing his delicate, see-through, wings. He began to rapidly flap them, and he was soon no longer standing on the strange surface below him.
As he flew upwards, Kamacuras let a small delighted screech out of his mouth. Although, the "victory" for the mantis kaiju was short-lived. As soon as he was about to reach freedom, he suddenly hit a strange surface. What? What kind of... thing is this? The opening is right there. Why can't I fly through?
His confusion soon turned into anger. He was so close to freedom from whatever confinement this was. He would not give up now. The mantis looked down, at his two scythe front limbs. He may not be a powerful Titan, but this strange thing won't keep him locked up! Kamacuras flew back down, low to the ground. Then, he flew upwards but sped up, reaching out his scythes to smash whatever was keeping him contained.
In mere seconds, alarms began to blaze across the Monarch facility. Kamacuras has smashed through the reinforced glass in his chamber. While the scientists and security inside were scrambling to figure out containment plans, the kaiju they were supposed to keep locked up flew away.
His wings beating quickly, the giant mantis Titan flew away. He was free. Annoyed that he was trapped at all, but free.
Although, as the insectoid creature flew west, storm clouds began to appear. And they intensified. Lightning streaked across the sky. Thunder was the only sound heard. And rain. It poured. Hard. The wind blew strong, keeping Kamacuras from flying properly.
Then, he heard something. A loud, wailing roar. No, it almost sounded like, three roars. Kamacuras then saw something. His yellow eyes strained to see what it was. Then, lightning flashed through the sky again. He briefly saw a large silhouette. Three necks. Three heads. Two large wings. It was so much than himself. A feeling he had often in times before he slept, filled his mind again.
Fear.
After letting out their roar of newfound domination, the Alpha needed to move. While the False King had just secured himself a new place to call home, it was not secure. His new subjects would do some work, but it would be guaranteed to go right if he did it himself. All three of Ghidorah's heads agreed.
One of the first under his control the alien met was Rodan. He wasn't killed by whatever had done in their rival. A surprise, but not one Ichi cared much for. He made sure the others knew that they needed a lair. A place they could comfortably and safely call home. And they had an entire planet to decide where. Minus the oceans. Their aquatic subjects could do what they please in the depths.
In their search for someplace to call home, Ghidorah had stumbled upon another one of the planet's giant creatures. Scylla had chosen to submit. They moved on from the desert, leaving her to destroy those pesky bipeds in the area.
Now, they had stumbled across another. One that can also fly. Although, all three heads quickly noticed that this thing was puny compared to them. They brought the storm wherever they flew, although it could be disintegrated or lowered with a thought. The other flier was struggling in the storm the invader had made.
And he was scared. Ichi could sense that this small creature was scared. Scared of them. They should make him submit. The One Who is Many roared and flew faster towards his target. Kamacuras let out a frightened screech. San grabbed it in his jaw. Although, he was surprisingly careful, not even breaking a wing or limb. Ichi would remind the left head later not to be so gentle with every single thing they didn't kill...
Ichi snarled, moving his head towards the frightened kaiju. He growled, giving the small Titan only one command that could easily be known. Submit. The scared mantis let out a scared screech, moving his head away from Ichi's jaws. Ni growled. He wanted to simply eat the bug.
Sure that the giant mantis would listen to them, Ghidorah let Kamacuras go. As he continued on, the storm followed. Kamacuras would definitely obey this Alpha.
He did not want to perish.
Na Kika was close. She recognized the surroundings. There should be a tunnel nearby. One that would lead her into the deep dweller's home. She would soon find out. Her alpha had to be alive. He had to be.
Although, as the Kraken approached the tunnel, she saw something. Another one of those metal fish. It was going straight towards the tunnel. She could feel a potent amount of radiation coming from a part of it, but that did not concern her.
Those bipeds were heading towards the alpha. Godzilla must already be weakened if he was nearly beaten by Ghidorah. If those stupid land walkers had kept her trapped, who knows what they might do to him?
No. That would not happen. Na Kika let out an angry cry as he sped up, her tentacles moving quicker. That metal fish would not harm the old alpha. No.
She would see to that.
