LGC: Thanks, I always liked the idea of SpringTrap being William and SpringBonnie wrestling for control. I'd like to hear your opinion on the rest of that chapter though.
AUTHORS NOTE: Okay, it's been a short while since the last time we had a Bonnie #1 perspective. Time to change that for a bit, before continuing the Ethen Vs Chica segment. Oh, and I seem to of written Bonnie #2 to be a bit of a hugger, I don't know for sure if that'd be accurate to DeltaV's depiction of her, but makes sense with how I remember her in Delta's stories.
Writing Max on this website is a pain in the backside because writing "Mr." ends up with the name getting deleted... FanfictonNet devs PLEASE fix this. Also it turns out that writing the "." in FanfictionNet also deletes the whole FanfictionNet thing.
[BONNIE #1, 6:20 AM]
The blue rabbit had just left the repair room and headed for his stage, he didn't know what was going on but he didn't want to stick around to find out. He knew he'd have to come back eventually, but waiting until it simmered down seemed like the best option. Conflict was the last thing he needed right now.
It was so strange, the purple bunny kept saying that the endoskeleton wasn't an endo. But they stuck around after 12:00 AM... Customers and staff both leave before 12:00 AM but he was there anyways, so he had to be an endoskeleton.
When he reached the stage, he heard crying in the distance and turned to see the other Bonnie running through the arcade. He didn't know what she was doing, but he saw it as an opportunity to finally catch that endoskeleton... Until he saw the man in orange headed straight for him that is.
The man in orange stepped up on the stage, but activated Chica instead of doing anything to Bonnie.
"Ugh, where am I?" Chica asked.
"The newest 'Freddy Fazbear's Pizza' location, you've been gone for at least 20 years."
"Oh great, I finally got some proper beautyrest." the metal chicken sarcastically jested before examining herself and turning to Bonnie. "What's with the new designs?"
"I thought you could finally use an upgrade after so long, but that's not your Bonnie there." The man in orange explained, "While your Bonnie is in the pizzaria, everyone else is an animatronic salvaged from a different location. There's been many 'Freddy Fazbear's Pizza's in the past after all." Well, that explains the other Bonnie, but where was his Chica? Was this even his Freddy? Was he the only one from his pizzaria?
"Wait, so it's just me and Bonnie?" the new Chica asked the man in orange, starting to look concerned.
"Yes, even Mike is missing, despite not being an animatronic. And before you ask, no, Bonnie's not taking it well." The man in orange explained. "It didn't exactly help that our newest nightguard called her a 'metallic freak' upon learning of what she did to the nightguards before Mike." He said that last part with disdain.
"WHAT!?" the metalic chicken yelled, obviously angered by that last part. "Oh that stupid... Where's Bonnie?" she asked, now looking more concerned than angry.
It was just then that a man in yellow came to the stage, looking straight at Chica before turning to the man in orange. "Hey boss, what's the deal with the new animatronics? The purple one ran into me before heading straight into the storage room." he pointed to a door in the distance. Only to be knocked down again when Chica jumped off the stage and bulldozed through him, heading for said door.
"It's a long story", the man in orange said to the man in yellow as they got up again. Then the man in orange turned to Bonnie, "As for you, we are about to have a very serious discussion." This was a rough day, and Bonnie felt that it was about to be much worse.
[BONNIE #2, 6:50 AM]
It was a disaster; Chica was chasing Ethen around, Afton was laughing his $$ off, and most of her friends were missing. Not to mention Chica's new behaviour was reminding her of Foxy, but Chica wouldn't actually do anything to the man... Right? "I'm gonna throttle you!" Chica screeched as she chased Ethen through the arcade, catching up to him when he tripped over some wires.
"CHICA! STOP!" Bonnie yelled, stopping the metal Chicken as she grabbed Ethen.
"Wh- But!" Chica started,
"He didn't know about the endoskeleton glitch!" Bonnie interrupted while getting in between them.
"So he thought we just did it for sh#ts and giggles?" Chica rebutted, as Ethen was repeatedly apologising. The cussing was a bit new,
"Exactly!" Bonnie started, "He was panicked and didn't know the full story, he came over to apologise the second he learned what really happened back then." She stated as she got in between Ethen and Chica.
"Look, if it means anything, I like how protective you are of your friends." Ethen's voice wasn't trembling, but still made it clear that he was still weary of Chica. Possibly both of them, wouldn't be surprising considering what happened before Mike came along.
"Yeah, and you're definitely not just saying that because your boss is making you." Chica remarked.
"Oh yeah, because I certainly couldn't of just quit on the spot." Ethen replied, almost equally sarcastic.
"Well, at least they have something in common." Bonnie thought to herself... Just then, something came across Bonnie's mind. If Chica got this upset, how would've Foxy reacted?
"Chica, please," Bonnie pleaded, getting that though out of her head. "He's sorry for what he said, and I forgive him. Can't we just forget it even happened?"
Chica was dumbstruck, she started looking between Ethen and Bonnie in a confused manner. After a while, she sighed before speaking. "I've got my eye on you." She said to the disheveled nightguard, who released a sigh of relief.
With that Bonnie hugged Chica and whispered "Thanks." There was a lot going on, but at least the conflict would stop for now.
"So, I assume this means I'm safe now?" Ethen asked.
"As long as you don't do anything stupid." Chica deadpanned, Bonnie looked at Chica as if to say 'Please don't'.
"Or in other words... no?" Ethen laughed. Bonnie didn't know wether that was low-self-esteem or just being a comedian, but she didn't like it.
"You're safe." Bonnie corrected.
Well, that's one problem down. Hopefully things would start settling down after a bit, but right now Bonnie had to deal with the blue rabbit animatronic before the others activate. She didn't know how they'd be like, but she didn't like the idea of fighting with Freddy and Foxy due to an 'endo glitch'. Even if they aren't her Freddy and Foxy, she couldn't bear the thought of fighting them.
[ETHEN D'KRAFT, 7:30 AM]
As things started to de-escalate, Ethen could feel his adrenaline levels dropping. He considered driving home, but driving a car while in need of some sleep didn't sound like a good idea to him. Besides, he already told Max he'd just take a nap in th-
"I see that things have calmed down." Max sounded off as he approached with the blue behemoth in tow, to Ethen's surprise. "Now, I've renamed this animatronic here to Robbie Rabbit, and I believe he has something important to say to Mister Kraft." The other Bonnie, now titled "Robbie", seemed to be pained by that last part.
"I... I'm sorry for mistaking you for an endoskeleton," Robbie murmured. Chica was wide-eyed at that statement.
"Wait, what!?" The metal chicken asked, didn't take a genius to know where this was going.
Max turned to Robbie, "And?" he asked. Expecting more.
"And for trying to stuff you in a suit." Robbie continued.
"...well, as long as you don't try it again?" Ethen yawned, he'd hold a grudge... but he never remembered long enough to do so, so this might just go under the radar.
"...Did he just yawn?" Chica asked.
"Yeah, I did." Ethen stated, "So... is this the part where I go home, take a nap, and come back for my next shift?" he asked, looking for an answer from either Max or Bonnie.
"Yes, Mister Kraft. Frankly you should've clocked out sooner." Max stated.
"Eh, consider it like overtime but cheaper. You can dock my pay for this morning." Ethen chuckled, before continuing. "Not saying you can avoid paying overtime any time I stay late, but you can this time."
"Very well." Max started. "I'll be seeing you la-"
"Ah," Ethen interrupted, "We're still gonna have to talk about you-know-what later..." Ethen pointed out before turning to Bonnie, "Anyways... Bye Bonnie, see ya later." He smiled, trying to keep the past off his mind.
"Uh... Bye." Bonnie said, seemingly disappointed or distressed by this. Ethen couldn't get a good enough read on her expression to decide. She could be unhappy that he's leaving, or that he's returning.
Speaking of animatronics, Ethen would have to talk with Max about them. There was a lot to process and discuss, some of it he was only thinking about now. They were no doubt sentient, likely from an advanced AI. But that was hard to swallow with them being 80's technology, it was hard to believe they'd kept it a secret for so long.
That's not even mentioning their apparent capacity for violence, specifically murder... or manslaughter depending assuming what Max said about them is true. That made Ethen uncomfortable, and not just for the obvious reasons. These animatronics were being brought back to entertain children, and Ethen didn't like the idea of that happening. Sure a kid wasn't hurt injured at one of these places since 1983, but that didn't mean it couldn't happen again.
But the events of last night and this morning proved that there was a chance things could go well this time... He'd stay and keep an eye on them as long as he could, but he needed some sleep. He didn't want to stray too far from the pizzeria yet, so he would nap in his truck instead. Any questions he had would have to wait until his next shift.
[END CHAPTER]
So, uh... on a scale from 1-10, how would you rate this chapter.
