Chapter 31 The Honeymoon Part 5

Knowing that Jack had to be careful the Bouchard's spent the next few days taking it easy. They took turns reading to him and Lucas entertained him with magic tricks. In the evenings they would attend whatever show was playing that evening. Lucas brought in their meals so they could eat in their suite. As they were spending every moment with Jack since he got hurt, there wasn't any alone time for them to express their passion for each other. But tonight was New Year's Eve and if he was being honest, Lucas was missing holding his wife and the feel of her body snuggled up next to him. He decided to ask Julie to keep Jack so he and Elizabeth could attend the ship's New Year's Eve ball. Julie was more than happy to agree as she had spent the last few days free to do as she pleased and so was fine with staying in so that her new brother in law and Elizabeth could have an evening to themselves. She and Lucas had finally started to build a brother, sister relationship: She looked up to him. She admired his dedication to his family.

They only had two more days at sea before landing in Bora, Bora. Although Lucas was wishing they were heading somewhere else now since the whole purpose of going there was to relax and swim. Jack still had several days before he would get his sutures out, and Lucas was concerned that now Jack would be afraid of the water. He would wake up the last few nights crying, so Elizabeth would hold him while Lucas rubbed his back just to reassure him he was okay.

The evening had come and Lucas was getting excited about escorting his beautiful wife to the ball. They had hardly left the suite and honestly Lucas and Elizabeth were both getting cabin fever; so it was time for them to have a night out together. They got dressed in their fanciest clothes and then said good night to Jack and Julie. He was going to spend the night. Then Elizabeth looped her arm through her husbands and they headed to the ball.

They entered the beautifully decorated room that was already full of people. As they walked through the door, heads turned to admire the striking pair, their faces glowing from happiness and clearly so in love. Lucas pulled out a chair and helped her into her seat and then took his seat across the table. Soon the waiter came to the table and took their order.

"You are the most beautiful woman in this room and clearly everyone has noticed!" Lucas took her hands from across the table.

"Well, Mr. Bouchard I don't think they are all staring at me." She said with a grin that warmed his heart."

"There is only one woman for me, and I was lucky enough to find the most beautiful woman in the world." He flashed her that gorgeous seductive smile, dimples on full display and placed a gentle kiss on her hand.

"How in the world do you expect to talk to me the way you do and not be completely seduced?" She laughed. "I think you could convince me to do anything. The depth of your gaze is so passionate and seductive."

"It's so easy when you are in love as much as I." He responded rubbing his thumbs over her hands.

Their food came and they ate their dinner. Then sat there for a few more minutes letting their food digest before Lucas took her hands again, "Would my beautiful wife care to dance with me?"

"How could I ever say no to you?" She said with the biggest smile.

He placed both of his hands around her waist much lower than would normally be appropriate as she wrapped her arms around his neck and they began to sway to the music. Their eyes were locked on each other and there was no distracting them; they were hypnotized. As the song came to an end Lucas made sure everyone in the room was well aware that she belonged to him. He leaned into her and softly brushed her lips with his, leaving them both wanting more and thinking about the passion that would follow later in their suite. They had lost track of the number of dances they had done, but they had become quite the spectacle as they moved beautifully around the dance floor.

"My love, would you care to get me some water? You have clearly raised the temperature in this room." She smiled teasingly.

"As you wish my darling." He said as he kissed her cheek and walked over to the bar.

Elizabeth stood there patiently waiting for his return when a voice said, "Would you care to dance?" She did not recognize this voice.

"I apologize but I'm married and I don't think my husband would appreciate that." She said coolly.

"Well, where is he? If you were my girl you would never be alone. It's just a dance." He took her hands and she was less than willing.

Lucas turned to see what was happening and was more than willing to diffuse the situation. He told the bartender he would be right back and headed back over to where his wife was dancing with another man. He could clearly see she felt uncomfortable and it was his job to save her.

As he approached them and made a rose appear for her and handed it to her. "Now sir, I can completely understand your desire to dance with the most beautiful and captivating woman in this room. I must warn you it is extremely risky to be dancing with another man's wife. I will kindly show you more respect than you have shown us and let you go for I try to be a peaceful man."

The man gave a slight nod and turned and left.

"You didn't want to dance with him did you?" He laughed.

"You always know when to save me." She winked.

"I think I'm ready to head back to our suite because the temperature in here is unbelievably hot if you know what I mean, and I want to thank my knight in shining armor for rescuing me." As if speaking in secret code, they gave each other a look that only they knew. Their eyes locked in their own conversation never having to say a word.

He took her by the arm and they walked back to the suite. He picked her up opened the door and his longing to be with her were on clear display. It had been a few days, and what he was realizing was he was extremely passionate and had a continuous longing to be with his wife. This time was different it wasn't gentle it was almost forceful and a release of a built of desire of waiting and being patient. He backed her up against the wall and assaulted her neck and her ear. "I need you." Was all he whispered. His grip was tighter, his hands more forceful as they caressed her body. "Happy New Year!" he said removing her clothes. It was as if he was ripping them off of her. This was the inpatient Lucas a side of her husband she had never seen. It stirred feelings inside her that she had never felt before. She loved it! She couldn't get enough of him! Leave it to her husband to constantly surprise her. There was never a boring moment. He always had a way of bringing new feelings to their relationship and she was sure she wanted to experience every possible one. They rang in the New Year together pleasuring each other.

"I love you!" She whispered with a deep moan as they became one unit. One perfect unit united by a deep, deep love that could never be equaled.

"Not as much as I love you! He reciprocated with a moan of his own.
