Chapter 32 The Honeymoon Part 6

The cruise ship pulled into port and Lucas arranged for their luggage to be delivered to the two beautiful bungalows he had rented for their stay. They sat up on stilts over the beautiful lagoon. There was a walkway leading to each one. The bungalows even had glass panels in the floors where you could watch the fish swimming in the lagoon below giving access to see all the way to the sandy bottom, Jack loved the idea of being able to sit and watch the fish. The waters of Bora, Bora were the most beautiful turquoise they had ever seen.

Elizabeth, Julie, and Jack were so excited about finally being off the ship. The island was beautiful just as Lucas had told them it would be. Lucas made adjustments to the plans for the benefit of Jack who still had five days before he could go swimming. The first five days they would spend locally exploring the shops and markets and wading in the water. Bora, Bora had quite the nightlife with torches lining the walkways known as the midway. Music played until well after midnight and where the dancers performed every evening.

Their first evening, they sat outside just watching the beautiful sunset and enjoying the reflection off of the water. It was truly the most beautiful thing any of them had ever seen. The waves from the ocean were playing the perfect song as they splashed on shore. Jack was mesmerized by its beauty as he sat on his father's lap with his head on his shoulder. Lucas reached down and grabbed Elizabeth's hand intertwining their fingers and placing a gentle kiss on it. "Isn't this the most amazing site?" he asked?

"It truly is beautiful Lucas!" Elizabeth and Julie agreed.

"I am so happy to be here with you away from the pressures of everyday life, away from my work. I love just being able to sit out here and watch the sunset and relax with my family. It truly is a blessing. I can't tell you how many times I have had to do this alone and I always felt so empty inside. There is just something that makes everything more beautiful when you have people you love to share it with." His eyes were glossy with unshed tears at the beautiful moment they were enjoying.

"Lucas, my love, you will never have to watch the sunset again by yourself. We are forever your family and we will have many sunsets to enjoy over the course of our lives! She leaned over and gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek.

"Daddy, when can I go in the water?" Jack asked.

"You can't go swimming yet Jack but we may be able to wade in the water. What do you think Elizabeth? How about a sunset stroll across the beautiful white sandy beach?" He looked at her with those pleading brown eyes and those irresistible dimples shining.

"Well how can I say no to that?" She replied teasingly.

The four of them took off their shoes and socks to walk through the water on the beautiful white sandy beach.

"Daddy the sand is squishy between my toes." Jack said.

"Oh no Jack! Don't look now it's the sand monster." Lucas said as he picked him up teasingly and tickled him.

"Lucas! Not so rough." Elizabeth reminded him about Jack's head.

"Okay Jack momma says not right now." He put Jack down and tackled Elizabeth causing her to land in the sand. Jack and Julie started laughing.

"I hope you're happy Mr. Bouchard!" She said with a teasing grin wiping sand from her clothes and her hands.

"Oh, I am! Now I can do this." He gently rubbed her face with his hand and gave her a passionate kiss.

"Lucas this place is so beautiful. It's like living in a dream." She whispered.

"I am living my dream. Its beauty is multiplied because of the woman with me. Tonight after Jack is asleep; let's take a stroll of our own." He whispered.

"What are you up to Mr. Bouchard?" She asked curiously.

"You have to stroll with me to find out. Are you up for a little adventure of our own?" He flashed her that seductive smile.

"Oh that smile could get me to do anything." She winked. "Let's take the stroll on into town and all get some dinner."

They put their shoes and socks back on and walked hand in hand down the midway to town enjoying all the beautiful lights. Tonight they decided on fish for dinner. Lucas being more adventurous ordered sushi. They sat down and listened to the music and watched the dancers while they ate their dinner. Jack was completely mesmerized by the dancers. They stayed until after 10:00 and then headed back to the bungalow. They put Jack to bed and said goodnight, both of them giving him a kiss and saying I love you. Then they walked to their bungalow and Lucas grabbed a bottle of champagne and the hammock he had stuffed in his luggage,"Are you ready?"

"Why do I feel, I'm about to get another one of your surprises?" She winked as she kissed him.

He took her by the hand, "Shall we!"

"We shall." She could tell by the look in his eye what was on his mind.

Her Lucas was definitely the most romantic man she had ever known. They walked to a secluded area between two coconut palm trees and he tied the hammock between the two trees. "Have you ever slept under the stars in the most beautiful place in the world Mrs. Bouchard?" He said in a very seductive voice.

"Lucas this is so romantic! Are we going to get in trouble for being here?" She asked.

He winked. "Sometimes you have to take a little risk." What he didn't tell her was that he paid a security guard to keep people out of that area just so they could be alone for the evening.

He poured her a glass of champagne and himself and they toasted to love and happiness.

Then he took her glass from her. "After you." He held the hammock as she climbed in.

Then he snuggled up beside her wrapping his arms around her. He held her hand rubbing it with his thumbs and they looked up at the stars in the night sky.

"Lucas this is amazing! How did I get so lucky?" She looked at him with a deep desire.

"I am the lucky one Elizabeth!" He pulled a rose from behind his back and gently brushed it over her face. Following each spot up with a kiss. "This is for you," as he found her lips.

"Lucas." She whispered in his ear knowing exactly the reaction she would get from him. Her warm breath sending shivers down his spine as he let out a soft moan.

"I love you Elizabeth!" His hands slowly finding their way to her face after caressing every inch of her body. The clothes had disappeared. Lucas pulled the hammock over the top of them like caterpillars resting in a cocoon and they spent the evening under the stars making passionate love like the newlywed couple they are and so in love.
