Chapter 35 The Honeymoon Part 9
Lucas awoke first where he rolled over and found her lips with his. He gently stroked her hair. While whispering, "We need to get up and head back to the bungalow."
"I don't want to lose this magical moment. You always bring so much spontaneity to our relationship and I can never get over how much you love me." She said returning his kiss.
"People will be showing up soon and we need to go clean up. I don't want to let you go, just hold me a little longer." She said with those deep blue eyes.
"I could never tell you no. You have put a spell on me that can never be broken." He said while placing soft enticing kisses all over her neck and her ear. "We should go."
He helped her up, picked up the blanket and took her hand intertwining their fingers as they walked back to the bungalow. As soon as they entered, he walked her backwards to the bed. They still had several hours before Jack would be up. Laying her down, "I can't get enough of you Elizabeth. "He whispered. He double checked the door lock and removed their clothes. His hands started at her feet gently exploring as he ran them up her inner thighs slowly almost like a tickle, sending shivers up her spine, over her navel and breasts until he found his way to her lips. He slid his hands behind her head, and their bodies were in perfect alignment. The initial feeling as their bodies joined left them speechless as they both let out a passionate moan. "This could never be any better, he said. I treasure every moment I get to make love to you!"
"I know what you mean. You mean the world to me. I can't imagine not having you in my life. You always make me feel so good!" The sweat was now pouring off of them as he gently rolled over pulling her with him. "I need to take a bath, why don't you join me and it will save time getting ready." He said pleadingly.
"Will it?" She asked teasingly.
"I think so! I promise in and out." He winked.
They had just settled into the tub when there was a knock on the door. Lucas excused himself, dried off and threw on his clothes. "You go ahead Elizabeth, take your time." She had to feel a little disappointed. She loved the intimate bath times they shared together.
Lucas opened the door to find Jack. "Daddy! Where's Momma?
"She is taking a bath son." He responded while grabbing him and placing him on the bed while blowing raspberries on his stomach. Jack laughed. The more Jack laughed the more Lucas did it.
"What do you want for breakfast this morning Jack?
"I want pancakes!" He said.
"We just had pancakes how about an omelet?" Lucas suggested.
"Yuck!"
"Well if you don't try an omelet then I won't be able to take you deep see fishing." He said always able to manipulate Jack.
"Okay." He said quietly and disappointed.
Elizabeth came out of the bathroom just as Julie walked in. Lucas kissed his wife and then went to finish getting ready.
"Beth, you look so moony this morning." Julie said.
"I just don't think I can be any happier." She replied with the biggest smile.
"Where did you go?" Julie was dying to know.
"We took a moonlight walk on the beach, danced to the music, and fell asleep on the sand under the moonlight." She said as she let out a deep sigh.
"You deserve this happiness Elizabeth." Julie smiled.
Lucas came out and they all went to the midway to get breakfast. Omelets were the breakfast choice for the day, even though Jack was less than enthused. So I thought I would take Jack deep sea fishing today and let you ladies go back to East Matira Bay shopping. "You don't want to join us?" Elizabeth asked.
"I would be more than willing to join you, but I think Jack would prefer to go deep sea fishing. How about we meet back at the bungalow about 6:00 and then we'll all have dinner together?" He asked. "Besides it will give you and Julie some alone time to bond."
"I will miss you! I love you!" She said giving him a passionate kiss.
He handed Elizabeth and Julie a large sum of money. "Elizabeth spare no expense, get what you want. Please be careful and don't talk to any strange men." He winked.
Lucas had chartered a boat to take Jack fishing even though he was young; he wanted to start him early. Jack was excited, especially when Lucas let him help pilot the boat. They drove out to the deep ocean and Lucas let Jack help him cast the line into the ocean.
"What we do now Daddy? Jack asked.
"Now we patiently wait for something to bite and the line to start tightening." He told him.
"What is patience?" Jack asked.
"It means to just sit here and wait." Lucas explained.
"Boring!" Jack said.
It did not take long before Lucas and Jack were reeling in a large Tuna. Jack got so excited when he saw the fish flopping around in the bottom of the boat. "Jack stop jumping around. You will get your sutures out tomorrow and then you can go swimming and jump around."
Elizabeth and Julie were enjoying the shops. It was nothing like what they had in Hope Valley. Even though Hope valley was home, she liked the appeal of seeing different cultures. Elizabeth bought some gifts for her family back home and a few items of clothing for herself. They had a blast and Julie was amazed at how free Lucas was with his money. He was so generous. Needless to say they had a terrific time and enjoyed their outing.
Lucas and Jack stayed out until five o'clock and caught five tuna. He was going to cook them himself. Then they returned the boat. Thinking the woman would return around six o'clock, but six came and went and there was no sign of them. At first, Lucas thought maybe they just lost track of time. But, was starting to get really worried as it was now well past 9:00 pm and dark outside. He had Jack so he could not just venture out to find them. His heart was pounding out of his chest as his anxiety was starting to rise. The worry was now creeping into his mind.
"Where are they?" He thought to himself and what was he going to be able to do about it while he had Jack.
