"Elizabeth, I am going to go exchange our cruise tickets and get us on the evening cruise out for tomorrow. I feel that it is the best thing to do. You need to be home surrounded by family and friends, where Faith can keep an eye on you and perhaps me as well." He teased.

"Lucas, are you going to be more protective now that I am pregnant? You are already very protective."

"Probably so!" He openly admitted. "You are carrying three of my children inside you, I still don't understand how that is possible, but I know that it will not be easy or comfortable. I will be there to take care of you."

"I know you will be there for me every step of the way and that is all I need."

"I have a couple activities planned; do you feel up to it?" He asked rubbing her feet.

"I feel pretty well right now. I will drink some tea and try to get through the day. You are such a wonderful husband and father. I know you will do great." She said pulling him in for a kiss.

Lucas walked to the travel center in town and exchanged their tickets for the next cruise out. He had to take a downgrade due to the capacity, but was okay with that. They would not have balcony suites; instead they were on the middle deck.

Lucas decided to stop by the infirmary. "Good afternoon doc."

"Well, well, I must say Mr. Bouchard you look a lot better than you did this morning."

The doctor said grinning.

"I wanted to stop in and personally thank you for taking care of my family while we have been here on the island. I have decided it would be in our best interest to head home. We will be heading out tomorrow." He said shaking the doc's hand.

"It was my pleasure! I sense that is not the only reason you stopped by though." The doc said curiously.

"You are good. I just wondered if you could tell me about when my wife is due?"

"Well from her symptoms and the fact I was able to hear the heartbeats of the babies. I am going to say around the end of August." The doc stated.

"Doc, Is there a good book or some reading material on how to parent triplets that I could read to help me be better prepare for our journey into parenthood? Jack was older when I came into their lives so I am completely inexperienced with babies." Lucas admitted.

"Mr. Bouchard there is no amount of preparation that you can do that will fully prepare you for parenthood. Rely on your wife to help you and learn as you go, that is the best experience." The doc advised him.

"How will she be able to feed three children at the same time?" He asked curiously.

"The woman's body is a miraculous thing. She will have plenty of milk for your children. Since the invention of baby bottles in France in 1851 and baby formula in 1865 most women in this situation will rotate which babies they feed, breastfeeding two and then bottle feeding the other. This also allows the father to be part of the process and form a deeper bond with his children. It can also take a huge amount of stress off of the mother and her body. I would recommend that to you."

"Thank you, this has been very helpful doc." Lucas walked out the door.

He brought lunch back for everyone. They ate and then they headed for the dock.

"Daddy what are we doing?" Jack asked.

"I am taking you whale watching and then we are going to take in the sites at Mt. Otemanu ." Lucas said excitedly.

"What is that?" Jack asked curiously.

"It's a volcanic mountain son."

They took the boat ride out to the deep sea where they saw all types of whales and dolphins. When Jack saw a blue whale, he was scared to death jumping into Lucas's lap. Its enormous size was frightening to him and he started crying.

"It's alright Jack. We are on the boat. Nothing is going to happen to you." Lucas said in a soothing way while rubbing Jack's back.

"Darling this whole trip has been such an amazing experience. You really have gone out of your way to make this trip absolutely perfect. Now we are adding a new dynamic to our relationship." Elizabeth took him by the hand and intertwined their fingers while laying her head on his shoulder. He leaned over a placed a gentle kiss on the top of her head.

They did not climb the mountain because of Elizabeth's condition, Lucas would not allow it. They did walk around at the bottom of Mt. Otemanu and seen all the volcanic rock formations. Lucas pointed them out to Jack. The tropical vegetation was beautiful.

Evening was approaching quickly as they got dinner and headed back to the bungalows. Julie had volunteered to watch Jack for the evening, because Lucas had a romantic surprise for his wife being the last night on the island.

The couple put on their best attire, she slid her arm through his and he escorted her to the beach. There was a bonfire. They were only there a few moments when they heard the playing of coconut drums and fire dancers surrounded them.

"Lucas what is this?" She asked curiously.

"This is an ancient Polynesian ritual performed for newly married couples. The fire symbolizes the bringing of light into the lives of the couple. You have certainly been a light in my life Elizabeth." He wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her in for a passionate kiss. "I love you for eternity."

"I love you too. It is absolutely amazing. Thank you for this." Elizabeth couldn't help but think as she watched the ceremony about how fortunate she was. Lucas coming to Hope Valley truly was fate. She couldn't imagine two people that were more in sync and connected then they were. Everything about their relationship was beautiful and encouraging. Even when they argued it was short lived. They often made up quickly. He always put her and Jack before himself. She felt truly blessed.

Once the ritual was over they stood there in the moonlight on the beach, learning the Tahitian dance to the coconut drums. It had turned out to be a wonderful evening. What a way to remember the island they both thought. That would be their last memory from their time on the island of Bora, Bora. Tomorrow they would pack everything up and board the Santa Marina for home.

It was after ten when they retreated to the Bungalow. Elizabeth was still on a high from the beautiful evening and going to bed was far from her mind. She wrapped her arms around her husband's neck and gave him a deep passionate kiss.

"Enticing!" Lucas whispered. "Is it even safe to do that? I don't want to hurt you." He asked.

"Darling you can not hurt me." She reassured him.

"Will you be saying that same thing in seven more months Mrs. Bouchard?" He teased.

"Fair point Mr. Bouchard."

He wrapped his arms around her waist, treating her with such finesse. He did not want to make her uncomfortable in any way. He returned her passion until their desire for each other over took them, bringing them to their bed where they could make a lasting memory of their last night in Bora, Bora.

They lay there, her head on his chest, softly rubbing his chest with her hands and enjoying the intimacy and passion they always seem to share for each other. He softly stroked her beautiful hair with his right hand while using his left hand to rub up and down her arm with a gentle finesse almost to the point it tickled, feeling so comfortable with each other that they could go right to sleep.
