Chapter 3 given a chance

Alanna's point of view

Cynder and Spyro offered me some food, but I rejected it, I did not want to eat anyways but Ignitus told me that I am slowly killing myself. But then decided to drink water instead, at least it was better than nothing for them. I spent the next three days, given two hours a day to roam around under their watch, I knew what they were doing, they were giving me a chance, but it is mostly from Ignitus. I sat in the dojo on the side lines watching the guardians train Spyro and Cynder, it helps them get stronger to face stronger enemies, and beat whoever is the real villain behind all of this. I knew I wanted to fight whoever this being was, but I knew I was not allowed to, oh well, I will try to avenge my friends, auntie Topanga, uncle Dan, and the kids for what I have done, I will just go to hell for it, just like what my abusive adoptive family told me. The scar on my arm started to heal and my bruises started to disappear, I knew the worst was coming, but if the guardians, the armies of each location, Spyro and Cynder are fighting and they are gone, am I the only one to bring the realm back to freedom? I know what to do, but I need their trust to do it, and it is going to take more trust than it is right now. Later, I walked back to my cell on my own and closed it, Ignitus and Terrador came in to see if I was there, and Terrador came to lock it in for the night. He left and Ignitus stayed because he knew what I was thinking.

"I know what you're thinking." he said to me.

"I assume that you'll see if Volteer, Terrador, and Cyril will help out." I told him.

"It's going to take time for them to see that you're not so bad." He replied.

"Heh, no matter what, I'll go to hell anyways." I replied.

"Who told you that one?" He asked.

"Samantha, the spoiled bitch in the family, the family I was adopted into who abused me." I answered. "It's like no one cares, I had friends before I killed them, I promised them what I could do for them in return when we all run away from that town after we murder them. I can't get them back, I'm just a monster, like they all said."

"You're not a monster Alanna, you had so much hate in your life that you think that you would never have any chance to be free from harm, I'll see what I can do." Ignitus told me.

"I guess." I replied. "But I doubt that they'll help."

"We'll see." He told me before leaving.

As usual, he left where I was as I rolled over and folded my wings over me, I didn't get to sleep for the night as well, because I knew what happened if I could try or would've sleep. The next morning, I heard a loud bang as the ground shook.

What the hell was that? I thought.

I decided to start banging on the bars to get someone who worked and Volteer arrived.

"What's happening?" I asked him.

"The Dark Armies found us!" He answered in a hurry.

He proceeded to break the lock and undo my cuffs, we both ran, and we saw Terrador and Cyril starting to fight against their foe, as we ran, I caught something in the corner of my eye. I ran over and moved a rock which covered a long box which contained a sword, I took it out and I quickly slashed at an ape who was approaching from behind. I ran back to the others who were about to leave the temple, they were drawing nearer until we were on the balcony.

"AYE!" I shouted. "COME AND GET US YOU UGLY FURRY BASTARDS!"

And then I forgotten that I cannot fly, so I had to climb on Volteer and all of us together fled the temple to make our great escape.

Does that satisfy you for now Psycho Rabbit? I asked her.

For now, maybe when you fight next time, I'll be more satisfied, until then I'll give you three days' break. She answered.

Thank goodness, I can at least get some decent rest.

"Hopefully there's no major injuries." I said out loud. "Oh fuck, my bag!"

Then Spyro flew up with my bag in one of his paws.

"Why did you guys have it?" I asked Spyro.

"You didn't want to talk to us when we first met." He answered.

"I was in one of my moods." I told him. "What? I think every living thing has feelings too! And where are we heading to?"

"Warfang." Ignitus answered. "A dragon city, it's an alternative safe place."

Sometime later, we landed for a bit of rest, I looked through my bag to see my pocketknife was still there, I took it out along with my jacket and put it on, I took the other and tied it around my waist. I took a small piece of fabric out of my bag as well and used a bit of my magic to make a big sheet of it.

"What are you doing?" Terrador asked.

"Being useful by making a shelter." I answered.

"No one has poles for that." He told me.

"Pfft, sometimes you don't need them." I laughed. "It's called 'think outside the box' Terrador, and what I mean by that, is those branches."
