Hey guys so i might have been procrastinating... a BIT making this. Also homeworks a bitch. I've been reading/watching a lot of Naruto fanfic lately and 1. I keep kind of switching what I want to write and I just can't really settle on one thing. And 2. And well I've been reading more than writing fanfic. Im thinks more about the future of the story than the present…

Anyway hope you enjoy it, I know I have no excuse for not uploading, and i'm sorry. But leave your reviews, not just when the next 'chappie' is please.

-o-0-o Naruto Chapter 3: First 'Genin' Fight o-0-o

The Next Day

"(Kakashi ay?)" thought Naruto as Iruka continued listing off teams.

"Team 8 is Kiba Inuzuka, Hinata Hyuga, Shino Aburama, and your sensei is Kurenai"

"Team 9 is still active, And team 10 is Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi, Ino Yamanaka, and your sensei is Asuma." Finished Iruka.

"Your senseis will be here soon" and Iruka left the classroom. Naruto stood up and started to walk towards the door.

"Where are you going Naruto-IDIOT" Said an annoyed Sakura (His teammate)

"I did some research about possible senseis, and he's known for being late,'' said Naruto, leaving the classroom.

4 Hours Later

Naruto walked into the classroom, seeing Sasuke half asleep and Sakura doing her hair. He took a seat, and it was another minute before Sakura noticed him.

"Heh? When did you get back? Never mind that, IM GONNA KILL THIS STUPID SENSEI" Said Sakura, fire raging in her eyes.

"What's this about killing who?" and a silver haired man came into the classroom with an orange book in his hand. He was wearing a standard jonin outfit and his headband covered one of his eyes. Sasuke and Sakura glared at him while Naruto just looked at him lazily.

"IT'S BEEN FOUR HOURS" Yelled Sakura, but Kakashi paid no mind to it.

"Well meet me on the roof in 5 minutes" He said before disappearing. When he got to the roof, he nearly dropped his book in surprise, but kept his composure.

"(This one's fast)" Kakashi thought, raising his lone eye to look at Naruto. A few minutes later Sasuke came up, followed shortly by a panting Sakura. Kakashi put his book away and surveyed the three genin.

"My first impression of you all" Kakashi said, "I hate you" making Sakura boil up in rage again while Naruto and Sasuke just sat there. Naruto raised an eyebrow at Sasuke, who looked forward.

"(Guess yesterday finally taught him some respect)"

"Well anyway because i'll might be your jounin instructor, let's get to know each other, say your name, likes, dislikes, and your dream, I'll go first" Kakashi continued.

"My Name is Kakashi Hatake, I have some likes, I won't tell you my dislikes, and I don't have a dream" He finished.

"All you did was tell us your stupid name!" Sakura Half-Yelled at Kakashi.

"Well because you're so eager you can go first pinky" Kakashi said, earning a glare from Sakura.

"My name is Sakura Haruno, my likes are-" Then she looked at Sasuke with love hearts in her eyes.

"My dislikes are Ino-pig, Naruto, and anyone who thinks they have a chance with Sasuke. And my dream is to-" Then she looked at Sasuke again.

"(Fangirl)" Kakashi thought, "Emo your up"

"My Name is Sasuke Uchiha, I don't have likes, I dislike a lot of things, and my dream isn't a dream because I'll make it a reality, and it's to kill a certain person " Sasuke said.

"Guess that leaves me" Naruto said, "My name is Naruto Uzumaki, I like ramen, an old man, and a lazy fox. My dislikes are those two, and a lot of other things. For my dream? Haven't figured it out yet.

"Well you guys certainly are… a special bunch" Said Kakashi, standing up, giving everyone an eye smile.

"We'll be having a survival test tomorrow to see if your ready to become genin"

"Meet me at training ground 7 at 6:00AM tomorrow for your test, and don't eat, or you'll puke!" and he disappeared before anyone could ask any questions.

Next Day 8:00AM

"Stupid idiots, stupid idiots, stupid idiots, STUPID IDIOTS" Sakura yelled in her mind. Unconsciously yelling it aloud. Her and Sasuke had been waiting for two hours, and Naruto and Kakashi still hadn't come.

3 Hours Later

Naruto and Kakashi finally came into the clearing. Naruto had a hand on Kakashi's shoulder and was laughing, while Kakashi was giving his iconic eye smile

"How do you come up with this stuff Kakashi sensei?" Said Naruto, wiping a tear from his eye.

"Experience. This is pretty dark level stuff, i'm surprised you find it funny" Answered Kakashi, looking at the other two.

"And let me guess, he screamed a-" Asked Naruto, but he stopped laughing when he felt a presence in front of him.

In front of him was a raging Sakura, and he was pretty sure that there was actual fire behind her. She raised two fists to hit both Naruto and Kakashi, but Kakashi ducked and Naruto shunshinned close by.

"WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR 5 HOURS YOU IMPUTENT WASTE OF SPACES!" Yelled Sakura

"Calm down Sakura-Chan, I was coming then I met Kakashi on the way" Said Naruto, looking at Kakashi.

"Then we met a black cat and had to go a different way" Kakashi said

"After that we met an old lady who needed help with groceries" Naruto added

"And we found out it's her son's birthday"

"So we helped her pick a present and card"

"Then she invited us to her son's birthday party which was in 20 minutes"

"And we could say no, and after that we ended up here" Naruto finished, also noticing Sasuke was semi-glaring semi-looking resentfully at him.

"(At least he can keep his cool)" Thought Naruto

"If you're done Sakura, I think I'd Better explain the rules for the test" Said Kakashi, and they all sat down.

"First there are these two bells" and Kakashi pulled out some bells

"Each one of you has to get a bell, the one who doesn't will be sent back to the academy" Kakashi said, dropping the bombshell.

The three genin looked in shook at Kakashi's words

"You'll have until this timer runs out" and Kakashi pulled out a clock/timer.

"Start!" and the three genin dashed into the trees.

With Naruto

Naruto was sitting on a branch watching kakashi, thinking of a plan.

"(I'm 90% sure I can beat Kakashi if I go all out…)" And he thought of his eyes.

"(Another time)" He thought. He watched as Kakashi disappeared in a puff of smoke. He spread the sensory abilities out, searching for him. He jumped from the tree,barely doing a kick from Kakshi. He turned to see Kakashi standing on the branch where he just was, reading his book.

"It appears a genin has dodged me, I must be getting old" Said Kakashi, glancing at Naruto with his one uncovered eye, before jumping down.

"Or maybe i'm better than an average genin" Naruto summoned 2 shadow clones in a puff of smoke, and shot through hand signs

"Fire style: Phoenix flames. Wind style: Wind bullet" One from a clone and one from Naruto. The justus combined, so 6 small fireballs shot at lightning speed towards Kakashi. His eyes widened slightly, and he quickly dodged, scorching his clothes a bit on his arm.

"Seems I should take this seriously, that could have done some damage to me Naruto. I have to say I'm impressed" said Kakashi, putting his orange book away.

Naruto chuckled, "Hope that woke you up. But this is a fight, not a conversation, especially against a jonin"

" Very well, lesson 1, Taijutsu" He replied.

With Sakura

Sakura was trembling as she watched Sasuke die in front of her multiple times, and she screamed aloud. Meanwhile, Kakashi was reading.

"(That was a E-Rank genjutsu, I thought she graduated first for kunoichi in the academy)" Thought Kakashi's clone.

With Sasuke

"(Shurikens, kunais, fireballs, Nothing works!)" Yelled Sasuke in his mind. He was puffing and had some scratches on his body. While another one of Kakashi's clones was watching him lazily while reading the orange book.

Back With Naruto

Kakashi pulled out a kunai and blocked as multiple shurikens and kunai came out of the ground. The clone came out of the ground, and the real Naruto came in with 3 more clones. They engaged in taijutsu for a short while, Naruto then jumped back a few times as the final clone dispelled.

"Wind style: Wind torrent!" and a compressed gust of air rushed out of Naruto's mouth, speeding towards Kakashi.

" Lesson 2, Jutsu, Earth style: Mud wall" Responded Kakashi, putting his hands on the ground, to which in front of him a giant wall of mud came out of the ground. The mud wall stood its ground, though there were deep cracks lining the middle, before fanning out more lightly across to the edges of the wall.

Naruto was about to charge Kakashi, when he saw Sasuke flying out of the trees. He had cuts and bruises throughout his body, and he was covered in dirt.

"So you finally came, we need a plan" Naruto said calmly to the panting Sasuke. He glared sharply at Naruto before giving a small nod. Naruto quickly whispered to Sasuke the plan, Sasuke grudgingly nodded.

"Fire style: Fireball Jutsu" Wind style: Wind torrent" Both of them said their respective justus, aiming them at Kakashi.

"(Won't fall for that again)" Thought Kakashi, dodging the lightning-fast fireball. Once he landed he put up his arms to block an axe kick from Sasuke, before using his strength to send Sasuke up in the air. He then had to duck a punch from Naruto, and an elbow from Sasuke. They continued for some minutes until both boys jumped away from Kakashi.

"Fire style: Fireball jutsu!" This time Sasuke's fireball was quite small, and Kakashi only had to tilt a bit to dodge it. He assumed Sasuke was running out of chakra, but his eyes narrowed when he saw a smirk on Sasuke's face. He then whipped around to see sizzling in the ground.

"BOOOOM" A large explosion went off and Kakashi was sent flying, before one of Naruto's clones caught him and the real Naruto took the bells in Kakashi's shocked state. Naruto threw one bell to Sasuke and another one to the lingering Sakura whom Naruto's clone had retrieved. Naruto stood next to Sasuke in front of Kakashi, who was getting up with small burn marks and cuts scattered around his body.

"Good plan" Sasuke mumbled to Naruto, who was panting heavily, and Naruto smiled at Sasuke's Praze.

"Well that was excellent teamwork you two, coulnd't have done It better with another clone of me" Said Kakashi, and Naruto chuckled

"You were off talking about those lessons, but you should take a lesson in not underestimating your opponent and being lazy Kaka-Sensei" Naruto lectured

"I admit I was not expecting you two to work together so well with the circumstances.

Kakashi sighed, looking at the two.

"Well it seems unintentional Naruto figured out the true meaning of this test… Teamwork!" He exclaimed, giving them a thumbs up.

"You all pass!" He declared, looking at Sakura who had appeared through the bushes with a Naruto clone.

"It would've been nice to have Sakura included but she was knocked out cold, but it worked out" The now awake Sakura who had heard that last comment dipped her head down in shame. But soon lifted as she realized she could now be a ninja with her 'Sasuke-kun'.

"Sasuke your Amazing!" and she went to hug him but he side-stepped her.

"All meet me at the academy tomorrow for your first mission as ninjas" Kakashi said as he walked off.

"And you BETTER not be LATE!" He heard a certain pinky screech behind him. He turned around, giving Sakura an eye smile.

"I make no promises" He replied.

Good? Bad? Tell me. Yes I know I'm a terrible author for making you guys wait so long. Anyway please leave a review about if you want a harem for Naruto(Max 5 cuz im lazy) or just one person. Also just over 2k words jeez thats not alot. Zabuza arcs next so make sure to stay tuned. also hope you liked Kakashi fight. i got a bit lazy at the end
