Victor and Anita were now in a cell ninety miles below Kalidah's surface, having to go along with the real Ayja's plan to infiltrate the Kalidahn Impostors as the Impostor who was currently imposting her. They weren't sure where Ayja was going with this plan or what the endgame would be, but they hoped it would be worth it. Ayja, after all, seemed fairly confident that things would work out in her favor. She'd left them the keys for their handcuffs, and she'd secretly given them instructions on how to incapacitate an Impostor with fingerprint-sized tasers she'd left for them. Victor and Anita wasted no time using the keys to break free from their handcuffs.

"Alright, I guess Ayja's done with her part of the plan," Victor said. "The question is... what are we supposed to do now?"

At that moment, Anita had an idea. "Victor, do you remember when the Impostors back on Earth had captured us and we happened to be put in the same cell Professor Professor was in?"

"Why? What's that got to do with anything right now?"

"Well, I still remember when Professor Professor had told us that he'd, um... made some modifications on us. Speaking of, do you still remember how to get a good signal down here?"

"I think so..." Victor started acting out the process in which to do so. "It was place your pinky in your right ear and then turn sharply counterclockwise, right?" As soon as he was finished, his nose started glowing white. "Oh my God, it still works!"

"Perfect. Now all you have to do is move around for a bit and see if you can get a signal."

Victor did so. Soon, his nose started glowing cyan, and he and Anita could hear Marijuana Pepsi's voice coming through.

"Hello?" Marijuana Pepsi called out. "Who is this?"

"Marijuana Pepsi, it's us!" Anita called back out to him. "Victor and Anita!"

"Oh, good. But first, I should tell you that I've gotten a new name in the meantime. As you know, for reasons of the tightest security, my name is Changed Daily. Today, you may call me..." His cellphone could be heard beeping. "Oh... Fishy Boopkins."

Victor and Anita could hardly suppress their laughter at Fishy Boopkins' new name.

"Fishy Boopkins, listen to us," Victor began to speak. "There's an Impostor infiltrating the I.C.E. headquarters."

"Really?" Fishy Boopkins asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice. "How do you know this?"

"Anita and I found the real Commander Ayja hiding out in a closet. She said that the Impostor imposting her knocked her out with her own weapon and assumed her form."

Now it was Anita's turn to chime in. "We don't know what that Impostor is doing, but we're worried it might have something to do with those Puddleheads that were retrieved from the Polychrome 3."

All of a sudden, Victor and Anita heard a noise that indicated that a call was coming in.

"Oh, that must be Commander Ayja calling in to set the record straight," Fishy Boopkins said.

"Fishy Boopkins, whatever you do, don't believe her," Victor warned. "You might be talking to the Impostor imposting her."

"Hmm." Fishy Boopkins could be heard accepting the new call. "Hello? Commander Ayja, is that you?"

"In the flesh," Commander Ayja could be heard replying. "Everything has been going fine."

"Oh, good," Fishy Boopkins rejoined. "Just one thing, though: Victor and Anita have informed me that you might be an Impostor. Is that true?"

"What? Of course not! To assume that I'm an Impostor is ridiculous. It must've just been their imaginations."

Neither Victor nor Anita could believe what they were hearing. They couldn't do anything except listen to Fishy Boopkins buy into the deceit that the Ayja (the one they suspected was the Impostor) was feeding him as if they were pancakes made for Shrove Tuesdays.

"Well, I guess if you say so, Commander Ayja," Fishy Boopkins said. "I guess all those encounters with the Impostors here on Earth must have made them anxious."

"Yes, I figured that must be the case," Commander Ayja conceded. "Some people just can't adjust to those unfamiliar to them."

"Alright, I guess I'll send you off then. You should get back to... whatever it was you were doing."

"I'm visiting Tyrmric at the hospital right now."

"Alright, bye." With that, Fishy Boopkins ended his call with Commander Ayja and then focused his attention back on Victor and Anita. "Commander Ayja says you two are only just anxious. I'd give it time. Okay, I'm going to have to hang up now. I'm supposed to be coordinating with Ray and the others on how they're handling T.H.E.M."

"Fishy Boopkins, wait!" Victor called out to the chief of U.Z.Z.

However, it was too late. Fishy Boopkins had already hung up. Immediately afterwards, Victor's nose started glowing white again.

"Okay, now what?" Victor asked Anita.

"Well, I guess we'll have to just figure out a way to get out of our cell." In an instant, a figurative light-bulb flashed up over her head. "Wait, there was something else Professor Professor had told us about while we were imprisoned with them. I think it was to press our belt buttons three times, wasn't it?"

"I... I guess?"

"Guess there's only one way to find out." Anita pressed her belt button three times and then threw it at the cell door. "Alright, Victor, you're going to have to move out of the way."

"Um... okay."

While Victor ran away from the door and behind Anita, the detached belt button beeped and beeped progressively faster until it just exploded. Soon, pieces of what remained of the metal cell door lay everywhere, and a hole was formed in the place of where the cell door used to be.

"Alright, then..." Anita began to speak. "Charge!"

Anita and Victor both ran out of their cell through the hole and proceeded to pull out their weapons in preparation for attack.

Back at the Lanxangia Veterans' Memorial Hospital, Commander Ayja was accompanying Jinjur and Ojo on their visit to Tyrmric's hospital room. Sitting besides the hospital bed was Tyrmric's daughter Zaydorii, a product of parthenogenesis. Just like her mother, Zaydorii had brilliant greenish yellow skin and vivid reddish orange hair. She also had the same mint green sclerae and kelly green irises that her mother had, as well as the same slightly bent antennae that protruded from her forehead.

"Commander Ayja?" Zaydorii adorably asked her. "Will Mom ever get better?"

"What are you talking about?" Commander Ayja asked back. "She's feeling better right now."

"You know what I mean..."

"Oh..." Commander Ayja's expression drooped down. "Well, we can't be certain about that right now, Zaydorii. We just have to take it one day at a time."

Zaydorii just sighed. "Okay."

Neither Jinjur nor Ojo could help but feel sorry for little Zaydorii. Only a year old (ten years old in human years), and she already had to deal with possibly losing her mother.

"Tyrmric will get better eventually, right?" Ojo asked hopefully.

"Like I said, we can't be certain about that right now," Commander Ayja answered him. "We just have to take it one day at a time."

Damn, that was close. Commander Ayja needed to buy more time before she could reveal herself on Ultraviolet's orders. Only the gods knew what would happen if they found her out now.

"Why don't you two take Zaydorii outside for a look-around?" Commander Ayja suggested to Jinjur and Ojo. "I'm sure she'd appreciate it."

"You really think that's a good idea, Commander Ayja?" Zaydorii asked, having overheard that.

"Of course," Commander Ayja confidently replied. "Right, Jinjur and Ojo?"

"Um..." Jinjur scratched the back of her head with her hand. "I guess so? I'm sure Ojo and I need some time to clear out our thoughts."

Commander Ayja reached out and patted Jinjur on the shoulder. "Good. I'm glad you understand. Be sure to take Zaydorii with you. Distract her from all those sad thoughts."

Jinjur and Ojo both gave their superior a salute. "Yes, ma'am."

Once Commander Ayja was certain the three other visitors were gone, she focused all of her attention on Tyrmric, who'd just started taking a nap. Commander Ayja knew she had a big decision to make in regards to Tyrmric. For all she knew, Tyrmric could've already put two and two together and realized that this Mombi before her was an Impostor and also the one who killed her co-workers. It was too risky leaving her alive. She knew what to do.

Commander Ayja began to sign to Tyrmric. "Farewell, dear Tyrmric. You will be missed."

Professor Professor had just extracted a chip from the Puddlehead specimen's body and was now examining it with Doctor Doctor's help.

"I guess that explains the Puddlehead's behavior," Professor Professor said.

Doctor Doctor looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "How do you mean?"

Professor Professor examined the chip closer. "This chip came from the Impostors, but they're a different swarm of Impostors from the ones on Earth or Kalidah."

"I see... how could you possibly know that?"

"If I'm not mistaken, the calligraphy is reminiscent of the calligraphy the Ammonites have been using all these years. These Ammonite Impostors must have rewired the Puddlehead's brain, using a neural chip to manipulate its behavior so it would be more inclined to attack all species except the Impostors and its own."

"That certainly explains a lot, but then why would the Kalidahn Impostors use technology from a different swarm of Impostors?"

"The way I see it... there are two possibilities. One, the Kalidahn Impostors are actually descended from a small group of Ammonite Impostors that branched off to live here. And two, the Kalidahn Impostors are actually working with the Ammonite Impostors to bring about genocide not just to Kalidah and Ammonia, but other worlds and entire galaxies. And from how things appear, the second possibility seems more plausible."

Doctor Doctor couldn't help but give that last theory some thought. She'd contemplated doing something like that before, so it didn't seem to fall too far out of the realm of possibility. She then looked at that neural chip again. She would definitely have to use this to her advantage at some point... maybe strike a deal with the Impostors back on Earth so they could manipulate Reptogators into doing their dirty work?

"I have to go find Victor and Anita and warn them!" Professor Professor exclaimed.

With that, he ran off, leaving Doctor Doctor alone with the Puddlehead specimen and the neural chip.
