After a long and fun reading session Iruma and Ameri collect themselves. Hey um, Iruma I have something I'd like to give you, says Ameri. Clearing her throat, As a reward for putting on another superb effort in the new first years' ranking test I'll give you this, Ameri holds out her hands. In Ameri's hands is a strange item in the shape of a demonic sheep. What is it? Iruma asks. It's a magic item my father acquired called the Noctcharm, replies Ameri. It keeps those who're especially close connected through dreams. Those who're especially close? Iruma asks bashfully. Ameri turns red immediately. Well I mean…uh, Ameri reacting bashfully, we've known each other for a year now and we've been through a lot together so it'd make sense that we'd be that close. Oh yay you're right we have been through a lot, Iruma replies while the both of them awkwardly laugh. Just outside the window of the room Sorath is watching. While Sorath is watching, Iruma and Ameri decide to head out.
Iruma and Ameri come to a short cliff filled with grass and a netherworld tree sitting at the edge. As Ameri sits on the ledge with her long red hair blowing in the wind Iruma stares in awe. What is it Iruma, Ameri asks. Um…I was just noticing how pretty the stars look tonight, says Iruma. Oh yes they're absolutely beautiful, replies Ameri. Iruma comes to sit down next to Ameri and the two of them look at the stars. Ameri, says Iruma, I want to tell you something. Ever since I met you I've been able to pursue my dreams because of how much you push me. And at the deviculum when I said I wanted to get closer to you I-I meant it. Ameri is shocked and blushes heavily as she replies, Me too…I-(creak). Then Ameri and Iruma hear a noise. Ameri shouts, who goes there!? Sorry to break up the love fest but, I'm here for her.
For Ameri why, Iruma asks. Iruma turns to Ameri who is all stunned. Ameri what's wrong, Iruma asks. As Ameri is shaking. It can't be, it just can't be, Ameri exclaims. That's an angel. Iruma is shocked and paralyzed. And not just any angel but a cherubim, a highly ranked species of angel that is known for not only being a combination of animals but legendary guardians. It's no big deal, Sorath says, but my name is Sorath and you have to come with me girly. It's very important. Why, Ameri asks. We don't have much time, I'll tell you on the way. Then a blast of lightning comes out of nowhere. Appearing before them is professor Kalego. You two get away from the creature!
Crud! How did they find me? Sorath says. Nothing gets past our school's territory without the faculty knowing about it, explains Kalego. Kalego summons his familiar Cerberus. Listen to me, it's important the girl comes with me or something very bad will happen! Explains Sorath. Besides, I can prove I'm not bad. Look at what I can do. Sorath pulls out a small bouncy ball and balances it on his snout like a seal. Kalego asks, And exactly what does that prove you imbecile?'' Sorath, with no choice, decides to fight Kalego one on one!
The rest of the teachers show up to Iruma and Ameri's side asking if they're alright. Kalego's Cerberus charges forward with its jaws as Sorath uses brute strength to stop it from biting down on him with his bare hands. Sorath gets pushed back until he crashes. Sorath lifts up Cerberus and tosses it. As Sorath lets out a mighty roar lets out a breath attack made of light. Cerberus collects itself and tries to stomp on Sorath but he dodges the attack by jumping on Cerberus's back and running to kick Kalego! Kelego blocks it but it breaks through his guard and sends him flying! Cerberus grabs Sorath with its jaws and flings him around like a ragdoll. Cerberus tosses Sorath and slams him down mid air with its paw. After Sorath crashes to the ground he gets back up immediately. Sorath fires his breath attack towards the ground to fly up in the air and lands on the tree. Sorath uses the tree as a springboard and jumps off of it to get away. Sorath disappears into the night with the teachers unable to pursue. Are you two alright? Balam asks. Both Iruma and Ameri answer yes while looking off into the night.
Later the next morning Iruma has his usual huge breakfast and asks his grandpa the chairdemon Sullivan about angels. We had been at odds with each other for ages, replies Sullivan. Actually we had kept our distance from each other for so long most demons are either afraid of them or completely forgot they exist. Sort of the same situation as with humans. By the way Iruma I heard that before the attack that you and ms Ameri had been alone together before the incident, says Opera, Sullivan's right hand man. Oh yay but, it was nothing weird or anything, Iruma replies. Hm…I was hoping that girl could assist me after she graduates but, if she were to become Iruma's bride instead, there may still be hope to have another family member around here. Iruma blushes heavily and says, No wait Opera you got it all wrong she's just someone I like to get close to is all! Opera and Sullivan think, isn't that what love is?
Then Iruma goes to school with Azz and Clara. Master Iruma I heard that you had encountered a real angel, says Azz. If only I had been there I would've protected you with my life master Iruma. Oh thanks Azz, says Iruma. And what about the president? Azz asks. She was with you wasn't she? Lady Red-Hair is tough right Iruma-kins, says Clara. Um yay, replies Iruma. Meanwhile at the school Ameri patrols the halls as she thinks about the incident from last night. That Cherubim from before what did he mean? Recounting Sorath's words she eventually starts to think about her and Iruma's meeting. Wait why am I thinking about that, Ameri blushes heavily. I should be focusing on the fact that an angel came to the netherworld, although what did Iruma mean by he meant it? Wait, was he trying to confess! Thinks Ameri.
Ameri is flustered and panicking as the other student council members come to speak with Ameri. President, is there something wrong? No it's nothing, Ameri replies. What's that? A council member asks. Ameri grabs the two council members! Canon fire! Ameri shouts! (boom)several places in the school blew up under cannon fire! The students panic as flying galleon ships come down firing at the school! Aboard one of these ships is a cat-like monster with antlers and a long dark brown trench coat. Coming out of the ships are asalants holding weapons.
These invaders attack the students as the teachers struggle to protect them. Iruma notices the situation, ties his hair in a ponytail, whips out his bow, and tells Azz to follow him to fight the invaders. Iruma shoots the several enemies as he uses his Danger Evasion Capability to dodge their attacks flawlessly! Azz summons his gorgon snake to fry the invaders to a crisp and proceed to cut them down with his flame sword! Yay! Go Iruma-kins, Go Azz Azz, Clara cheers. Azz annoyed shouts, just go and hide somewhere!
Ameri! Shouts Iruma. Iruma runs past all the invaders without getting hit! Master Iruma wait! Azz tries to follow but doesn't share Iruma's dodging ability and is stopped in his tracks by the invaders. Meanwhile, Ameri is fighting with all her might as she demolishes the enemy with her punches and kicks! Ameri creates a magic wall of stone giving the students the chance to escape! To her surprise a huge, buff falfal and a black gorgon snake appears in front of her! Ameri activates her bloodline ability Romantista to combat the two foes! Ameri goes for a kick but the two of them dodge it and swing their tails and hit her in the back! Ameri is sent flying but she gets back up saying, I'm ok, while doing a peace sign. The falfal goes for a claw attack but Ameri blocks it! She gives her opponent a jab-cross but is hit from behind by her other opponent's tail, this time imbued with flames! Ameri screams alerting Iruma to her location. Ameri does a round kick as her opponent does a round kick of his own and blocks it. Ameri lands an axe kick on the falfal but it's unfazed. Ameri's other opponent tries to trip her but she jumps up to avoid it but is hit by his fire breath instead, which is twice as strong as Azz's gorgon snake's fire breath, blowing a hole through the roof! Ameri falls to the ground. As Ameri tries to get up she gets stomped on with great force by one of her opponents.
Iruma comes on to the scene but is too late as he sees the Ameri carried away. As a cannonball fires, Iruma barely dodges the explosion and runs after Ameri. Ameri! I'm coming! Shouts Iruma. Out of my way scum! (gong)An invader whacks Iruma on the head, knocking him out.
Ameri is brought to a ship that holds their leader. Ameri is dragged aboard. Before Ameri is a bipedal blizzard wolf. Ameri speaks, I wish to speak with your leader-(slap) you will speak when spoken to. Their leader grabs the blizzard wolf's slapping paw. And ye will not lay a hand on our prize, says the leader. Yes sir, the blizzard wolf replies. Apologies miss I'm Sodom the Ozark Howler and a familiar. That's impossible, replies Ameri. Familiars can't disobey their masters let alone form an army to attack a school. We had freed ourselves from the pacts of Demons, answers Sodom. I don't know why you need me but, I ask that you halt all hostilities against Babyls, demands Ameri. I must decline your request, replies Sodom. Alright then I'll jump and kill myself, says Ameri. Ameri shifts her foot a little making the familiars react. You have a name…missy? Asks Sodom. A-Iruma, Ameri replies. Miss Iruma, says Sodom. All puzzled knowing that's the name of the chairdemon's grandchild. Welcome aboard Miss Iruma.
The familiars retreat bringing with them spoils of war. Iruma is knocked out and the chairdemon is nowhere to be found. What will become of Ameri? Stay tuned.
