Godfather: House Of Ainz Ooal Gown

Chapter 2: Nazarick Pantheon

Momonga didn't expect the dark elf to jump into his abdomen and hug him with all her limbs like a baby Koala. But, due to the towering height of his Avatar, the collision of her tiny body against his didn't even register in his mind, he didn't even move a muscle. If it was his real body, that of Suzuki Satoru, he would've been knocked over.

"I missed you so much…." He heard her whispering faintly, yet happily against his chest.

'Eh? She's much more casual and forward than Albedo and the Pleiades. Can't say I'm complaining though.' Momonga thought as his lips curved upwards. Aura hummed in delight when she felt her father gently caress her head.

"I didn't expect you to be so clingy." He stated in mock seriousness, trying to make a joke.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to be a bother!" Aura, however, took it literally and made to untangle herself from him with a worried expression. But before she fully released her hold, the hand on her head swiftly came down to wrap around her body and press her back into the figure of her father.

"I was not reprimanding you, Aura. You are my daughter, how can you ever be a bother? When it comes to me, you can do whatever you want, even take hold of my hand and drag me to wherever you want, and I promise you that I will never think of you as a bother. " Aura stared up in awe at her father's small smile.

'Please don't become all prim and respectful like the rest of them, I still can't believe I found one of you who interacts with me like a real family member.' Momonga pleaded in his mind.

" When a daughter thinks of herself as a bother to her own father, isn't it a tell on how horrible that father must be?"

"No! You're the best father ever! I'll kill anyone who says otherwise!" Aura actually yelled at him, her expression murderous.

'Whoa! That escalated quickly…' Momonga would be lying if he said that he wasn't a little freaked out by that last sentence. Aura thankfully didn't notice and buried her fcae into his chest once again, inhaling his fragrant scent.

"I love you, dad." She exhaled softly. Momonga's small smile became a bit bigger as he stroked her back.

"Your father cherishes you as well, young Bella." He raised his head to look around the stadium, searching for the other guardian of the 6th floor.

"Where's your brother?" He finally asked. Aura gasped, being too distracted by savoring the 'moment' with her father, she forgot about her brother. She let go of Momonga and jumped down to the ground, looking up at where her brother was standing on a balcony.

" Mare! Dad is asking for you!? Come down here!" She yelled out.

"I can't, Onee-san! I-It's too h-high!" He responded whilst fidgeting.

"Mare!" She shouted in a warning/threatening tone.

"A-Alright! Alright!" Mare jumped down and began running towards them.

'How clumsy… why did Bukubukuchagama-san make him into a subservient, cowardly person? That is kind of cruel.' Momonga thought, raising his eyebrow as he witnessed Aura scolding her brother for being late.

"W-Welcome to our floor, Dad." Mare said with a little bow and a shy smile. The two elves were a bit surprised to feel their heads being patted, the touch of their undead father's palms didn't bother them at all, them being too engrossed in feeling happy to be shown affection to notice.

"You two are quite lively. Can I ask you to help me with something? " Their father smiled gently and glanced at the floating staff besides him.

"I-Is that the staff of Ainz Ooal Gown!?" Mare exclaimed as he and Aura stared with awe. Momonga simply nodded and grasped the floating item.

'I came here to see these two and test if I can still use the staff. However, why are they in such awe? The staff is no longer the guild weapon, after the devs made me the last Boss of YGGDRASIL, the staff became just a World Item to manage the Dungeon. To destroy Nazarick, the enemy has to defeat me, the final Raid Boss, destroying the staff will not change anything, Nazarick can only be disbanded by defeating me. '

"I want to test the staff's power. Can I, Aura?" He asked.

"Of course! Do as you wish, Dad!" Aura replied and ordered her minions to bring training dummies.

' Summon: Primal Fire Elemental. ' The red gem on the staff glowed, bringing into existence a humanoid level 87 fire tornado spirit monster. Momonga's passive ability to cast any spell with Silent Magic allowed him to perform the spell without saying a word. This was quite an annoying and overpowered ability in the minds of the YGGDRASIL Players since it made it near impossible to disrupt his spell casting since he didn't need to recite incantations. Due to the fact that most of his spells were mind-type; he can also move while casting his spells without the restriction of having to stand still while casting, couple all of that with his unreasonable stats which even allow him to stop a punch from a being like Gargantua with merely a finger, and his ridiculously wide range, destructive attacks which ignored all resistances as befitting of the last Boss of any action/adventure game, and not to forget his immunity to World Items as a World Enemy.

For these reasons and many more, he was feared by all the Players in YGGDRASIL, even top guilds like Trinity and 2CH Alliance hesitated to attack Nazarick. Most of the guilds respected him and referred to him as worthy of being the final Boss after they fought him themselves, which dispelled any notion they had of him not deserving the privilege of being named the final Raid Boss by the devs. They experienced firsthand how difficult it is to fight him for mere thirty seconds without dying instantly, and that's when they realised that he truly deserves to have the highest level of difficulty in the game, God Level Difficulty, a difficulty level superior to any other Boss in YGGDRASIL, even the previous final Boss Devourer of the Nine Worlds paled in comparison.

Whenever a Player was asked about the power of Momonga of Nazarick, the Last Boss, all of them would describe it in more or less the same way: "A Broken God, Keep playing down here, but never try to trespass on his abode, or you will surely be smited down."

Such an intense warning was always issued to new Players or hot-headed veterans in guilds, they all knew fighting Momonga meant an instant loss, that's without even taking into account the possibility of never even getting to him because of his also impressive former guild members and 'unfair' NPCs residing in his Dungeon's 8th floor.

"Do you want to fight it, Aura?" Momonga asked, not only taking notice of Aura's excitement but also passively reading her thoughts, a racial skill from his Noble Vampire class.

"Yes, please! Let's go, Mare!" Soon after dragging her little brother along, the two began fighting the summoned monster.

'As expected, a mere level 87 is but a joke to them. Now, I've confirmed that my passive and racial skills are also usable.' Momonga thought while watching the two destroy the summon and come running back to him.

Momonga was about to reach into his inventory and give them some water but he felt a tug on his rob, which caused to glance down at Mare's shy face. The Vampire smiled and gently rubbed the boy's head, marveling at how short he was compared to him.

"What is it, Mare?" He asked.

"I-I want you to c-carry me, Dad." The dark elf child said bashfuly while looking at the ground, refusing to stare up at his 'father'. His sister simply shook her head with a smile instead of reprimanding her younger brother. Momonga was actually surprised by the sudden boldness of his 'son'.

'A demand? That's reassuring, at least Chagama-san didn't program him to have a completely subservient personality.'

"Alright, come here, little man." The so-called Supreme God of YGGDRASIL bent down and picked up the male guardian, holding him firmly to his chest by having his hand under his thighs. The boy's expression of extreme happiness made his sister and father smile at his cuteness. Momonga then proceed to pull out a water jug along with two cups from his inventory, giving them to the children to drink.

"Aura, I've instructed the other Guardians and some other denizens of Nazarick to come to this floor, they'll be here shortly." He stated.

"Eh? Will Shalltear come as well?" The girl had somewhat of a dismayed reaction to the news.

"Hmmm… You don't like Shalltear?" Momonga asked. The dark elf girl shook her head in response.

"It's not that. I love Shalltear a lot; she's my cousin after all. She just teases me so much it's annoying." She pouted, which made her look like a chipmunk in Momonga's mind.

'Cousin? Isn't she supposed to view Shalltear as a sister? Since both of them are programmed to see me as their father? I'll ask her about it later.'

" I see. " He replied shortly.

'Momonga-sama.' He heard the Sebas's voice in his mind.

'Sebas. Did you get information about our surroundings?'

'Yes, Momonga-sama. We're surrounded by grasslands.'

'Grasslands?'

'Yes. I did not find an intelligent creature in a 1km radius, and there's no unnatural structures as well.'

'It's not a swamp, then?'

'Yes, Momonga-sama.'

'As I suspected, we're not in YGGDRASIL anymore. How… interesting.' Momonga thought.

'Ok. Come to 6th floor at once, contact Solution and bring her with you.'

'Understood.' And with that, the Message spell between them ended.

"Oh? Am I the first to arrive?" Shalltear stated after coming out of a Gate. As soon as she saw Momonga, she threw her umbrella which turned into bats and flung herself at him, narrowly avoiding Mare, she hugged his other side instead.

"Father! My progenitor and the Father of all Vampires. The God I worship with all my heart, body and soul! Bestow your grace upon me!"

'She's clingy, too?' Momonga was noticing a pattern. 'Wait, Father of all Vampires? Hmm… Since I can use magic, it seems like this world is magical like YGGDRASIL. If that's the case, then would Vampiric creatures exist in this world? If they do, will they instinctively recognise me as the God of their race? Or is Shalltear and her Vampire Brides the only ones because they've been programmed to consider me their God? That needs some clarification, but I'll leave it for later. '

"Give Dad some time to rest, Shalltear, can't you see he's busy holding Mare? Besides, you're just a step-daughter, unlike us." Aura said with a haughty tone.

"Haa!?" The enraged Vampire immediately went to the dark elf and started debating/arguing with her.

'Huh? Step-daughter? Where did Aura get that from? I really need to ask her what Chagama-san told her or I guess wrote in her settings.' Momonga thought, pondering about Aura's weird mindset.

'Could it be that Chagama-san actually wrote in the twins' settings that myself and her are married? Of course not, that's ridiculous….' He immediately tried to disregard the thought. 'Is it, though?' However, the thought kept coming back, but he still filed it for later. Aura's mindset had the potential to be problematic; because it might result in the twins harboring negative feelings of prejudice against the other denizens of Nazarick in the future, now he can understand why Albedo felt the way she did towards Pandora's Actor.

Momonga put down Mare as the other guardians arrived one by one shortly after. Cocytus, followed by Demiurge, and then Albedo who had behind her the floating fetus that is Victim, Pandora's Actor who was carrying a large bag full of Gold, Aureole Omega, and finally Nigredo and Rubedo who were glaring at each other and arguing quietly. From another direction of the arena, he can see Sebas and Solution also making their way over.

Aureole Omega had a gentle smile as she walked over, yet Momonga can recognise the mischievous glint in her eyes. She looked like a young girl with black hair and brown eyes, no different from a regular human and wore the attire of a traditional shrine maiden. This includes a pair of red hakama (long, divided trousers) and a white haori (kimono jacket), and a pair of wooden sandals. If Momonga had to estimate, he would say that her appearance resembled a 16 or 17 year old teenage girl.

Rubedo on the other hand looked like a little child of 11 years old with six large, white wings sprouting from the middle of her back. She had crimson red hair and purple eyes, the white and the purple in those eyes were so intense that her eyes appeared as if they were glowing. She wore a gothic lolita black dress with red frills, black stockings supported with garters and a red boots.

'Rubedo, the strongest entity in Nazarick after me. Her stats alone are absurd, HP, MP, speed, everything is off the charts. She's the only one besides me who can trade blows with Gargantua, punch for punch. Even Touch me-san has to evade Gargantua's attacks and then hit him, but Rubedo is just on another level, no, another plane of existence, it's as if Tabula-san created a cheat character with the stats and abilities of a Raid Boss rather than an NPC or a Player. No wonder the other Players called the 8th floor 'unfair', after all, one hit from Rubedo's Fragarach (The Retaliator) Shortsword is enough to bring down two thirds of a level 100 Player's HP, and they're right to call it unfair; Rubedo's existence and strength are beyond what the mind can understand. That's why Tabula-san gave her the simple epithet: Ruddy Abrasion . It was true for anyone besides Momonga, all it takes is for Rubedo to just scratch you and it's all over. Thankfully though, the others in the 8th floor can hold her off if they were equipped with multiple World Items, but even they can't defeat her. This innocent-looking child's existence is truly mind boggling. ' As Momonga was lost in his thoughts, Rubedo finally looked at him and the frown on her face was immediately replaced with a large, elated grin. Seeing that, he returned her smile with one of his own. Casting the Mana Essence spell silently, he can see the abnormal amount of MP the angelic child had, the column of Mana surrounding her body reached the roof of the 6th floor and it didn't even seem to have stopped there.

'If I was still just a Player, I would've ran away the moment I saw that frown. Tabula-san, just what have you created?'

"Now then…" Albedo began speaking as she kneeling, but Rubedo interrupted her by completely ignoring her and rushing towards Momonga, causing signs of annoyance to appear on her beautiful face.

"Papa!" The redhead jumped into Momonga's waiting arms.

"Well, hello there, tiny Angel." Momonga teased with a smile, kissing her cheek and then placing her on his left shoulder, the little girl sporting a taunting grin directed towards her older sister.

"Rubedo-chan, you're bothering Father-sama! Come down here to pledge your loyalty!" Albedo commanded.

"But, Nee-san! I don't wanna!" Rubedo pouted and hugged Momonga's head. Her sister was about to use her position as the Overseer but Momonga raised his hand to stop her.

"Let her be, Albedo. I don't mind." This caused Rubedo stick her tongue out at her sister in a mocking gesture, while Albedo simply bowed and kneeled down, followed by all the other NPCs who gathered there.

"As you wish, Father-sama. Then, as I was saying, let us pledge our loyalty to the God of YGGDRASIL and our dear Father."
