Hey, I told you I'd come back. Just needed some vacation to myself, and some energy that I need to get ready to start this story for its next chapter. And to also start the year right.
Anyway, hello there, readers. As I said, this story won't be finished at all since all I needed was a break and some energy to get back on writing, however, one thing that I know is that there will be some chapters in the story that will be a lot longer than ever. But it's something that I might be doing also in some future stories that I make. I hope you can understand that, and I hope that you can still stick around for more adventures for our main green-haired protagonist in this AU.

AIR FORCE HERO
CHAPTER 4: Test It Out
Everything was now getting clear for Izuku, now a frightened green-haired boy after realizing two things today: One was that he has no idea how to activate his Quirk, despite what happened last night. And the other?
Was a Nomu. A Nomu with Jet Thrusters, and possibly a super strength type Quirk, where he crashed landed in the center of the city, who just destroyed another from many blocks away. Ever since the Nomu Crisis began, all Nomus started to come in all different shapes and sizes. And this Nomu's tall, grotesque, dark-black skinned, yellow-eyed figure is one example.
However, does it even think like a Nomu?
"RRRAAAGHH!" The Jet Thruster Nomu growled that sent chills to anyone who heard it, especially Izuku himself. This was also a signal for every single person in the city to run away as far as they can from the Nomu itself, who started to do some wrecking.
The green-haired boy started to run for his life as well. "Where are the Pros?! They should be here any second now!" Izuku realized that there isn't a single Pro Hero around Kamino Ward. Maybe they were scared after they realized that the whole 'All Might fighting One For All' scared them mentally, or maybe it was something personal and something else.
The Nomu thrust itself into the air with its Jet Thruster and raised its arms to create a shockwave with its super strength, causing the ground the shake. The green-haired boy lost his balance after he was caught by the short, yet strong earthquake.
"Hehehehehe, finally! I knew two of its Quirks will make him unstoppable!" the scientist said in glee, who is standing on top of a building, afar from his creation's work.
"With its two powerful and supportive Quirks, my beautiful creation will be able to get the attention of any future villain organizations!" he smiled sinisterly once again. "It will be the only thing that I will achieve, and there's no one to stop it!"
Izuku's fall somehow made his body ache he took it hard. However, he realized that the Nomu was still causing some havoc. The city is in danger, the Pro Heroes are still not here, and there isn't anyone, and not even a single brave soul to stop that thing from causing trouble.
That was until he looked at his palm. Izuku remembered that his temporary Quirk saved his life because he was scared that he might be killed. This time, he is now, and this could be the perfect opportunity to test it once again. And this time, on a Nomu.
"Maybe… Maybe… this could work, and it has to!" Izuku stood up from his ground, lifted his arm, and extended it. "I can't let this Nomu start destroying everything on its path!" and has his hand opened, revealing his palm.
However, Izuku's moment and second opportunity were interrupted when the sound of both dangerously loud crackling and a rumbling roar was heard from behind, only to get closer and closer. You guessed it: One, giant rocket missile, heading straight towards the Nomu.
SSHSHSHSHSHSHSH – Boom!
"GRAAGHH!"
"Huh?! What was –" the scientist used his binoculars to see what caused a single missile to – "NO! It can't be!"
Yes, it can be.
Large, armored, black and blue military transport trucks have arrived at the scene as it parked from the Nomu attack. As the large doors in front began to open, numerous soldiers began to spread around the area. The first batch began to escort some remaining civilians out to safety, while some had their standard-issued assault rifles armed and ready at the Nomu, trapped inside the smoke.
The KMA army from the Atom has arrived.
"Midoriya! Get to safety just like the remaining civilians!" a man's voice caught Izuku's attention because he can tell he knew whose voice was it when he felt surprised.
"Mr. Kurodai?"
"Hurry, get into safety! We're not risking another life to get lost today. Now get going while there's time."
Izuku followed as he was being escorted by some KMA Troops, leading him to the civilians in safety. Kurodai watched as the smoke began to clear off slowly and a little.
"Status report, Lieutenant?"
"We are still not sure if the missile has any effect on the Nomu, Commander. However, we did get a little scan on Nomu's Quirks. And it's worse than it looks."
"How worse?"
A faint growling was heard, getting the attention of the KMA Troops. The lieutenant signaled the other troops with a whistle and gestured them to get inside the smoke cloud to take it out while it's blind. The troops bravely walked their way inside the cloud, in hopes they can take it out.
"I bet those bullets can easily work on those Nomus, not that I'm being worried, since we all trust our science division and its known student." Kuroda confidently said with the lieutenant besides, before directing his attention to him. "So about its Quirks?"
"Right. We scanned the thing, and from the looks of it, it seems that its main Quirk is a flying type. It used it to create numerous craters when it started to wreck around Kamino Ward."
"Guess that thing raised its arms to create a seismic shock only to left some craters and some road damages. Clever." Kurodai waved it off. "And how bad is the second one?"
"…aaaaaaAAHH!" The two were met with a KMA Trooper, swatted and yelling, being launched away straight to the KMA Transport Truck. Ouch!
The crowd gasped in fear, and Izuku was scared at what he just witnessed. The citizens, and him, let their attention go to the sounds of assault rifles being fired rapidly. However, the Nomu's intimidating growling started swat the troops as if they were like bugs, and dusted off the wind away.
Once again, it yelled, as if that thing had a battle cry. The Nomu itself grabbed two handfuls of rubble from the ground and launched straight at the Atom Army's position. Luckily, Kurodai managed to save the lieutenant to safety.
The Nomu itself started to go batshit crazy as it started to grab more handfuls of rubble from the ground and used them as ammo, as it started to destroy all the buildings as it see them as targets for its damaging spree.
Elsewhere, the scientist's smile widened as he himself was watching his creation getting back from its feet, not being either killed from the blast or killed by the known military academy that kills Nomus.
The Nomu's second Quirk was something more of a strength and beast enhancer all combined together.
"What the hell is that?!" Kurodai yelled to question.
"That was its second Quirk, sir. It's called Super Bones. That thing can destroy everything since its Quirk actively transforms its arms only into pure iron from the inside." The lieutenant explained.
"Do you think we still have more missiles?" Kurodai asked as he watched the Nomu let have its fun.
"Always, Commander. We never lose that much ammo." The lieutenant replied. "Why ask?"
"Launch all of it. Now!"
No time to argue his statement, despite his orders being irrational. The lieutenant decided to give it a try as he pressed a button from the rocket's remote control. The rockets from the KMA Troop Transports aimed their sights at the Nomu, and began to open fire at least all four each.
The Nomu snarled and started to act smart on its motives. It watched them launch right at itself as it started to jet thrust its way at the missiles, and knock two out. But the other two finally hit their right leg to cripple it, and the head for a mega headshot.
Finally, it was knocked out. The Nomu was barely moving, yet still alive, but can no longer move to cause more destruction.
"NO, MY CREATION!" The scientist yelled from the rooftops afar. However, while he is still looking at the Nomu with his binoculars, his eyes widened when removed them, and gasped in horror.
"Get that thing secured before it starts to move again! Asap!" Kurodai ordered as the KMA Troops began to secure the Nomu. Others are aiming it with their rifles, and others are preparing a special toy to secure the monster while they have time: A specialized Quirk canceling collar.
From the Nomu's eyes, it watched as it began to accept defeat. Before its yellow eyes closed to pass away, it directed to it attention to no other than Izuku. He noticed that the boy looked important as it continue to examine it. But one question would be asked: Why is a Nomu has its sights on a boy with a temporary Quirk.
Somehow, its vision started to cover Izuku all in red. As if it looked like it has a heat signature, and sometimes those types of things detect if there's any trouble. The Nomu kept looking for about a few seconds, as its vision was blinded by a glowing dot that brightened its only vision.
That was when the Nomu itself widened its eyes on realization. The thing that's glaring at Izuku right now, is his new target. Finally, another purpose to think it's not just a pawn to get captured.
The Nomu growled in determination, and it sounded like it's having a tactical plan.
"Okay, you big ugly freak, this won't hurt you a bit…" one trooper said. He should probably jinx that.
Suddenly, the tall Nomu's fingers began to twitch. And that twitching began into a slamming fist to the ground. A slam of another chance.
Charging its right arm in the air, the tall Nomu created a blast to push away the troopers with one blow. Everyone watched as the Nomu began to ram itself at some citizens. This time, the crowd started to just cower in fear, and run for their lives again to get away from the Nomu.
"No! That thing's killing the civilians!" Kurodai watched in horror. Since he is a Pro Hero Agent, he has no choice but to let him do the job, without other Pros in the scene. "Lieutenant, call Floyd now! I need him here!"
The Nomu stopped its continuing wrecking of destruction and stared at Izuku, who was just about to run away from the scene. Everything felt like it was in slow motion because Izuku noticed the monster following him too.
This was it. This is what's going to happen.
Izuku ran for his life as fast as he could. Luckily, he noticed the crowd running away so he decided to make sure that the monster is blinded by many people, while the green-haired boy blended in. Unfortunately, the Nomu gruff in anger as it started to chase everyone instead at the left side of the city.
And, thus, the area is now clear of both civilians, Nomus, and a green-haired kid.
"Commander?"
"I know…" Kurodai solemnly said. "But this time, I need someone else to follow it. Is he here now?"
"You bet I am!" a male teenage voice was heard as he landed on the ground with a glowing, blue thread that he used as a zipline. "Look, I know I'm late, but I was busy dealing with a shark Nomu, and it was easy to take out."
"That's nice, Floyd. But listen, there's a Nomu, on the left side of the city, that started to rush its way there. You need to find it, and kill it. Also, if you ever see a kid with green hair, find him also." Kurodai instructed. "Got that?"
"Any weaknesses?" Floyd asked before going. "And, does this kid have a name, sir?"
"The student's name is Izuku Midoriya." Kurodai replied. "And, aim the head."
With a simple nod, Floyd's left arm glowed a blue, life-like bow. As he pulled the string back, he launched another zipline, which also made himself get launched when it was fired.
"Commander, do you think you can trust Floyd?" the lieutenant asked.
"As much as I do, yes. I do trust him. But right now, we need him to stop that Nomu, and save Izuku."
"Hey! Hey!" the two soldiers' attention went to the scientist who made the tall Nomu, running like he wanted to catch it back. "You better get back here! I didn't make you just you can run away!"
"Ahem."
"What?!" The scientist's outburst demeanor shifted to a sorrowful look after he realized where is he standing in front of. "Uh… Hi?"
"Tase him," Kurodai ordered.
"No, wait! I was just –" He was cut off when he got tased, along with his painful screaming when electric volts are being delivered to him.
As the crowd still started running for their lives, Izuku was about to get exhausted from all the running as he noticed the Nomu still looking for him. How did he know that the Nomu was actually looking for him at the start? And why is he being targeted? The green-haired boy decided to focus on his life, and still keep running and running,
He noticed that there are a few people running inside the mall. Izuku believes that this could be a good idea of what the civilians are doing. Since a mall is a huge place, and the Nomu gets easily distracted, Izuku decided to use this opportunity to find a clever hiding spot.
Unfortunately, due to his nonstop running, Izuku started to feel exhausted. All of his energy was wasted and drained completely due to him running away from the tall Nomu that started from wrecking the city to hunting him down.
As he was slowing down, the Nomu used this opportunity to chase Izuku in a matter of seconds. The Nomu heard a loud whistle, which got its attention. Then, it was met with two straight light arrow shots that he blocked with his arm, only to see them explode gas on its eyes.
HSSSSSSSSSSS-
As the hissing, or whistling, the sound continued, the two, glowing arrows created a large explosion of flashed a light that clouded the Nomu's eyes, only to see them explode in front of them. Izuku stood his ground as he watched the figurehead straight to him.
"Hey, are you Izuku Midoriya?" the figure asked.
Izuku nodded. "Yeah, I am. Who are you?"
The figure removed his hood, revealing darker brown hair and a confident toothy smile. "Name's Floyd Kennedy. One of the few transfer students of the KMA's Atom. I was ordered to save you."
"Thanks." Izuku thanked. "What did you shoot on him?"
"It's part of my Quirk. That thing's eye's covered with a blinding trick from my arrows." Floyd explained.
However, the tall Nomu, despite being blind, started head straight at neither at the two teenage boys or at the mall. Whatever it is it's doing, its only purpose is to target Izuku.
Floyd created a long thread and tie it around both his and Izuku's waist. "Listen, man. I know we just met, but we have no time for proper introductions, so just trust me into this, okay? One, two, three!
"No, wait! What are you talking abo—Gah!" Before he could finish his sentence, Izuku and Floyd were both wrapped around and launched when his archery-based Quirk was fired, right before the Nomu could squash them like a bug. Then, the Nomu started to follow the green-haired boy's scream by using its Jet Thruster Quirk.
The two boys rapidly entered the mall just in time. Not even a single scratch or a head missing in any of them. But for Izuku's cases, that was completely dangerous but didn't say it since he is grateful to be saved.
"You're alright?" Floyd asked, and received a thumbs up from the green-haired boy.
In a split second, everyone inside the building, including Izuku and Floyd, was frightened to see the tall Nomu barge in. With its vision back to normal, and seeing mostly every scared individual scattered, the Nomu started to cause more havoc by throwing some rubble he grabbed and flying his way to destroy some stores at what it sees.
"We need from that thing! It's even trying to hunt me down – And I don't even know why?" Izuku yelled at Floyd in panic.
"Yeah, I'm the same with you, pal. The best way to avoid it is by hiding from any store he didn't attack yet." Floyd planned their idea of survival. "I'm a streetwise kid, and since he's hunting you, he'll just chase you AND start wrecking some more."
"You're… kind of right." Izuku guessed. "I guess?"
"I am, thanks. Let's go, while's he's distracted." Floyd and Izuku ran together as they rushed themselves inside a large clothing store. Meanwhile, the Nomu just started attacking everything as it sees, regardless of civilians or stores.
While the monster is still active inside the partially destroyed interior of the mall. Luckily, there were a few civilians inside in every store, who are all safe and sound. Some of them are crying, hoping that they can be saved. Some of them tried to contact for help, whether it's the police or a Pro Hero, they still have to call, however, they don't know that their phone signals aren't that strong to call for help.
The same goes for Izuku and Floyd as they started to make sure that nothing bad happens not just to themselves but to the few people inside the store where they are also located. The two college boys have two communications devices with them in the open: One was Izuku's phone, who tried to contact the KMA since he is a student and all students are given free access to call the KMA in any type of communications. And since Floyd is a Pro Hero Agent Student, he has a pager with him.
"Hey, did you get any message from the KMA?" Floyd asked while glaring at his pager which is making a faint scrabbling noise. "I'm not getting anything, except some scrambling noises coming from my pager."
"No, I didn't receive any," Izuku replied, with a desperate look on his face. "The signal must be weak on phones."
"That Nomu's still out there and no sign of the KMA yet," Floyd said, not even feeling worried. "I'm sure they're just planning their next motive, but in case if their students are missing, then they go out on a search."
"I see." Izuku's words were the only thing he said in his mouth.
"Yeah, I would hear it." Floyd bluntly said. "So, anything else you wanna say?"
"Okay, so blinding it with your Quirk didn't work at all," Izuku said as he began to bring out a habit of his: his Quirk facts. "You're Quirk seems like you must have been able to create light-based arrows from your left hand when it glows. However, you need to come up with a better type of arrow in case if you want to be creative. If that's the case, then maybe you create a larger light-based arrow by just focusing, but it will just be making you lose more control and –"
"Uh, listen, I know I just knew you for about twenty minutes, and you're starting to make me feel weirded out," Floyd said, which caught Izuku's attention.
"S-Sorry." He apologized and mumbled at the same time. Another habit of his. "It's just a force o-of habit I always h-have."
"Hey man, I get it. But look, as much as I want to say it, you're right. That's how my Quirk works." Floyd stated the facts that Izuku's Quirk analysis habit made it clear for him already. "Since you know about my Quirk by just guessing it, you got a plan to stop that thing? Or avoid it, at least?"
Izuku nodded, who is willing to help. "Yeah, I have one, and I hope it might just work."
As the Nomu began to roam around the first floor of the mall, that thing didn't care anything else except for finding Izuku and Izuku only, which will lead to the question 'Why is it looking for him?'. Anyhow, the tall Nomu destroyed every entrance in each store and used its Quirk swat away the doors. And despite failing to find one of them empty, it resumes its search and destroy.
Floyd and Izuku are now out in the open, but the tall Nomu didn't spot them. They already knew that they were not really far away from the exit of the mall. But, if they want to save the rest of the civilians inside the stores, they can't. They both have a plan, and by both, Izuku has one.
"Okay, so we can't save the civilians in time, while the Nomu's looking for me. What we need to do is to distract the Nomu with sound, run away while it's distracted, and try to contact the KMA once we get a good signal. So that –"
"They can deal with it and they'll get in here in time to save everyone. I'm starting to like the idea." Floyd finished Izuku's words and smiled at the idea he had. It wasn't cowardly or something selfish, but it was the only idea they need to use. "But how long do we have?"
"Judging by the Nomu looking for me, I might say that we don't have a lot of time."
"Then we'll start now. Where to shoot?"
"By the elevator cable. Once the cabin drops to the ground, it will let off its alarm to know if it's destroyed."
"Smart. Really smart." The streetwise archer smiled, liking the plan even more. From half a mile away from the elevator, Floyd created a light arrow, pulled back the string, and with a bit of concentration to not miss his shot to not waste time, he let go of it.
WHOOSH! SNAP!
The sound of a cord snapping means it made the shot. With the cord snapped, the cabin already dropped to the ground, crashing to be destroyed and setting of the alarms to alert or distract, the Nomu for them to escape.
"Bullseye." Floyd cheered himself.
The loud alarm of the elevator crashing had finally alerted the tall Nomu and interrupted its search. The Nomu walked it's slowly to the elevator entrance and tried to find something inside. They both grabbed the corners and tried to find what it was looking for, but growled in frustration.
"So, how long does the alarm go off?" Floyd asked.
"I'm not sure about that. But that's the only way to get that it distracted." Izuku answered. Although, he is not wrong, to say the least. His green eyes spotted a couple of human-sized debris, which, in his curiosity, can lead them out of the mall.
"So, what now?"
"If we still have time, we might be able to make a run for it to the exit." Izuku theorized. "Come on!"
The streetwise archer followed pursuit as the two ran their legs to get out of the mall. Despite where they are positioned when Floyd shot his arrow, it looks like it might be a mile away to get out and call for help. Their feet stomping at the cardio speed didn't even alert the Nomu's ears, due to the alarm being loud enough to get it really distracted.
So far, things will be going well, as long as nothing bad ever happen-
CRACK!
That can't be good. Izuku was the only one who heard a crack but from where? He didn't slow down because the two are almost near to the exit. Floyd heard it too, but he wanted to know where it come from. So, he stopped and checked around his surroundings.
"Is something wrong?" Izuku asked concernedly.
"Did… you hear some cracking? Cause I'm sure I just heard what I just –" When the Nomu's hands, along with its Super Bones doing the work, banged the elevator as a sign of frustration, it managed to get rid of the annoying alarm. Floyd heard a loud crack and realized that the top ceiling's glass, on top on where Izuku is standing, is cracking as it started to drop a mix of glass shards and solid rocks.
"Izuku, look out!" Floyd yelled, but it wasn't enough except for Izuku getting attention on top of him. Everything went slow as his life was about to get literally stabbed with glass shards. However, he has yanked away from a light arrow, that turned into a rope that grabbed him, just before the ceiling debris fall on him.
He was lucky and saved for the second time.
However, the Nomu just heard it. He turned to his attention to see the two college boys, with Izuku just standing from the ground. The Nomu growled in anger once again, having enough to play these games of just chasing him. The Nomu's forearms shifted to its Jet Thrusters and jumped to attack them.
"Split up!" Floyd shouted, and the two quickly did so. The Nomu missed his chance once again. Floyd so Izuku at his side. "Hey! I'm gonna try to distract it! You just go and get—"
Before he could finish what he just said, the streetwise archer was swatted away by the tall Nomu's hands, causing him to get launched and knocked out by a pole that struck his back, causing him great pain to not even move an inch.
"NO!" Izuku wanted to get to him but realized that he was being blocked by the Nomu itself.
The green-haired boy didn't hesitate to run for his life to avoid the monster in front of him. He jumped from rocks and avoided some other dangerous stuff aside from glass or any object that's about to block his escape. Despite the Nomu walking slow, it created a shockwave that made the ground shake and made Izuku lose his balance.
The chase between him and the Nomu was only nothing but a split second. Guess Nomus are smarter than humans.
Izuku get back to his feet once again but realized that his escape has blocked from the Nomu's strategy, and said Nomu was almost on his way. The green-haired boy was already cornered and is about to face death from a monster. If only he had just gone in a different direction.
"No… Not like this! I don't want to die like this!" Izuku whimpered on his head, and he was afraid to die this soon. "If only I just left! Or just run away from the start! If only I would – That's it!"
The green-haired boy realized that he has a Quirk. Of course! How blind was he?!
Izuku took a breath as a sign that it might work this time. He reached out his hand in the air, and just waited for it to happen again. He did become worried before doing it, and somehow, his Quirk isn't still activating yet.
This time, his face shifted to a frightened one. He knew last two nights ago, his Quirk worked when he thought he was about to get killed by a gang of street thugs. Now, as the situation he is in is different, it never occurred to him that his Quirk didn't work once again.
"Come, on! Work!" he begged mentally as the Nomu is almost close to him. "Please! Please, work!"
Despite all of his begging, it still hadn't activated. His Quirk was really deemed temporary, but he did know it from the start after failing to activate it earlier. But he decided to give up. He decided to cower in fear and wait for his death, to end it quickly since he is beyond saving.
That was until, his wrist started to spark green electricity, from that to his palm, once again.
His Quirk once activated but noticed it when his hands glowed from the lightning color. He checked to see what's on his hand. In his eyes, he didn't just see green lightning sparking, but also saw also a flat circular shape of air, that nearly covered his entire palm.
However, the Nomu's loud and angry growl got the green-haired boy's attention. He realized that his Quirk has activated, and saw it, once again. But the only thing he wanted to know is how is he able going to use it?
"RRRAAAAGHH!"
The green-haired boy was frightened and got back to his 'cowering in fear' stance once again. Unknowingly to him, the shape on his palm was emitted, and released nothing but an air bolt, shooting it directly to the Nomu's right leg.
BLAM!
The sound was like if someone hit a person with a baseball or threw a punch to the chest, combined with a direct, precise, and straight aimed shot from Izuku's Quirk. Once it's done, the Nomu felt like its entire body was shutting down due to how strong the force it received from the air shot. The monster's legs gave up and lay flat to the ground in defeat.
Izuku reflected back at what he did. He didn't know that his Quirk wasn't dangerous and easily powerful from just shooting an air bolt from his palm. He never knew that his Quirk would act like that, and he never knew that he ever did that. Or… did he?
One thing for sure is that his Quirk activated once again. This time, it shot out an air bolt from his palm.
And his Quirk saved him from getting killed by a Nomu.
He looked at his hand. He wanted to know how is this possible? He needed all the answers now.
However, his attention was alerted to the arrival of the KMA. Izuku just sat from where he is and did nothing.
The KMA Troops stormed, and unlike earlier, they were about sixty of them this time. All of them head straight to the stores, evacuate, and lead the hiding civilians for medical attention. Some of them were badly injured, and some were really tired from running.
A pair of paramedics assisted Floyd, who didn't pass out after being knocked out, as he was being treated immediately, with his battle suit removed and his back being checked to see if it's that bad.
"So, did you meet our green-haired friend?" Kurodai asked as he walked his way to the streetwise archer. Was he being in a good mood, despite everything that has happened?
"Yeah, I did," Floyd replied, with a smile on his face. "You just came here now?"
"We thought you can handle it. But since I remembered how dangerous that Nomu was, I called in some reinforcements, only to hear the mall create a loud sound. I'm just glad that you and Midoriya worked together to handle the Nomu." Kurodai stated.
"Yeah. Thanks, sir." Floyd replied back with a weak tone, from his back pain. "Hold on, where is Izuku?"
"He's not here. I told the troops to find him, but nothing." Kurodai replied, with a mix of concern. "I just hope he gets home safe if he ever does."
"Yeah, I'm the same with you. He came up with a plan to get ourselves out of here. He's resourceful." Floyd said as if his words are like a compliment. This got the attention of the Atom Commander, with his brow raised in question.
Elsewhere, a civilian is being treated by a couple of paramedics. Her face was bruised but still needed it regardless. She was also giving out a rant.
"I'm telling you! I saw it!"
"Saw what exactly, ma'am?"
"It's a boy! With a Quirk! He used it to stop that monster all by himself, and I'm being serious this time!"
"Yeah… that could be the concussion to your head when that 'monster' barge in here. Just rest easy now, and please stop interrupting the other soldiers. They're very busy, as I am." The KMA Trooper said as he walked away, heading to another spot to see if there was anyone who needed help.
A yellow backpack was tossed at the bed, which was no other from Izuku himself. The green-haired boy was panting tiredly as he takes a peek from the curtains to see if he was being followed. Luckily, he made it back to Iwata City and rushed back to his apartment.
He was scared that he used his Quirk in public, even if it was self-defense to stop the Nomu from killing him. He grew worried about anyone watching him use his newly gained Quirk. He was aware of the Quirk Usage Law, where he needed a Provisional License in order to use it, but that doesn't matter because any excuse is invalid the Quirk Law.
Also, he ran away so he won't get some attention from the KMA. They are focused when it comes to asking questions. Very important questions.
The green-haired boy remembered how he used his Quirk. It wasn't out of control or it activated on its own, but he started to have second thoughts on having what he always wanted ever since he was a kid. However, knowing how late it was to have a Quirk around his age makes it useless to go to a Hero Course, which is only for teenagers and enrolling high schoolers.
But what should be more important to him is that his Quirk saved his life. But, since he's so desperate to know about how did his Quirk even activated, he wanted to know more. He wanted to know how did it start, and his only answer was: How?
He looked at his palm once again and grew a worried look on his face. How come it happened just now? Why can't he have these powers from the start? Despite the many possible questions running on his head, he decided to grip his hand and sighed in despair.
"I'll just have to hide my Quirk instead. I can't risk myself drawing some attention, especially at the KMA. Or even at class. I'm not risking it." Izuku sounded like he really wants to be serious in this.
"Never, I'll risk it again. Hopefully."
NIGHTTIME, AT KAMINO WARD…
On top of the shadow-covered rooftops, a hand revealed a phone, which was used by a man, clad in a black cloak, along with a black hood that covered his head and half of his face, retaining his mouth to be seen in the light.
He started to swipe every picture on his phone, and speed it up to find it. It made him look like he wanted to know if he snapped a picture. However, when he swiped to much, he went back two times and stopped, with his mouth agape from the picture he saw.
Then that agape mouth formed into a smile.
And that's the end of how did Izuku survived from the Nomu and discovered once again how to use his newfound, and seemingly not-much of a temporary, Quirk. Will he be able to hide his powers tomorrow at the academy? We'll see soon.
Before I end, I just want to say that we are now in the year 2022. That's right, a brand new year means a brand new adventure that's coming to lead ys anytime soon, as long it's around, and we can push ourselves to it. And since I said there will be new adventures to come, I'll just say this in advance: There will be new stories that I'll be making in the future of 2022, and basically it's just more AU stories and romance-focused. And maybe, a crossover from two different animes, long and short. Fun and exciting. And enjoyable and worth it. And I hope all of you will be interested to see what I'll have to write. But right now, let's enjoy the year while it's still fresh, and I wish all of you a wonderful time.
Also, I just wanted to point out again that some chapters will be longer than ever. However, updates will be updated if I'm done with the next chapter. And please understand, I'm still at school, but I'll be finished in the next few months, which won't be short, and I'll be graduating high school in no time.
