AIR FORCE HERO
CHAPTER 6: Entering: Hero Course
"So, how did you get all these wounds and bruises?" a feminine voice said and sounded like if someone never talked to people that much. Or people how are softspoken. Or shy, to say the least.
"O-Oh, well, I got it from a physical test," Izuku answered, who is seated on a medical bed. "Ow!" he spoke out, as he was being treated by his wounds by the same nurse that's asking him.
"I'll never forget how many people came here after their physical test. Someone almost lost a leg and another had a literal eyeball being treated." The nurse recalled all the times how many people came in with such injuries. Meanwhile, Izuku was shuddered in fear, hearing what the nurse had to say. Quickly, the nurse reassured. "Oh! Wait, its fine! They're all cured and treated well in the end! You don't have to worry about those." She reassured.
Izuku sighed in relief. He was even scared to know how dangerous will it be if he lost something in his body. Because he can't risk it.
"So, are you also a student here? I can tell that you and I are the same age, but I was just wondering anyway." Izuku asked, and quickly realized what he said. "Wait, I meant to say that if you're a student taking an after-job! I didn't mean to ask that first part, since it sounded am like a creep! No wait, I mean –"
The nurse chuckled a little at what he's trying to say. "It's okay, Midoriya. I get what you mean." She reassured. "Yes, I am a student in the KMA, who's also taking an after-school job. But the only thing that I can focus on is mostly working. But I'm still thriving to be a Pro Hero Agent."
Izuku smiled, knowing that there's someone else that's also wanting to be a Pro Hero Agent in the future, aside from the streetwise archer Floyd Kennedy, when he first met him at Kamino Ward who just saved his life.
"Okay, so all your bruises and wounds are all treated, and they'll all be fading away in two days." She finished as she explained what will happen next to him. Until she frowned a little. "However, your hand, going up to your wrist, was sprained." She touched it to let Izuku know how painful it is.
Izuku hissed in pain. "Ow, ow, ow." He quickly grabbed his hand, groaning in pain. "How did I get my hand sprained from the start?"
"Well, I'm no doctor, yet, but I think it has something to do with a Quirk maybe?" she showed Izuku a medical result how did he sprain his hand. "You see, your palm created a circular shape that turned into a bruise, and he's your wrist which's now sprained and swelling. Do you think it could be a Quirk usage problem?"
"I-I guess so. I mean, I didn't know that this would be the cause since I've been using it for so long. But when you mention it, I guess it could be from using my Quirk too long." Izuku guessed but wasn't still sure if this was the cause.
"Well, to put it simply, I think you should use your Quirk once in a while." The nurse stated. "It'll be even worse if something horrible would happen if you reached the limit too far."
Izuku was now having a mental note that reminded him like a knife stabbing him. He needs to learn how to use his Quirk, little by little. However, when he used his second Quirk, it didn't give him any slight injuries on his eyes or made him almost blind.
Guess it only affects his hands. And right now, he could be saying 'it hurts like hell', because it really is now.
"Midoriya, are you in here?" Kurodai's voice called out. As he entered the emergency room, he spotted an all patched-up Izuku and the nurse. "Ah, there you are. Hope, is it okay if I take him out?"
"Yes, sensei. He can move now, it's just a mild injury that can be healed." The nurse named Hope replied as she left the room.
As the two head out of the ER, Kurodai decided to break the ice, even it was only a minute when they left the room. "Midoriya, I got some news for you."
"What is it, Kurodai-san?" Izuku asked, who's also wearing his uniform. He never knew that the news will be focusing around him.
"Well, you see…" The first commander started, "Since the physical test that you took was finished, me and the general decided to put you somewhere that'll fit for your newly gained Quirk. So, I'm just going to say this, but you'll permanently be part of the Hero Course."
Hold on, did he just hear that right?
The Hero Course? The freaking Hero Course?
Him? Being part of it? Forever?
Izuku was left with no words, and his mouth open in shock at the sudden announcement. He's already enlisted to the Hero Course, and it's all because of his not one, but two, Quirks that he gained from the accident. He was speechless that this was going to happen.
"Really?! Is this really happening right now?" Izuku asked. Again, he was shocked to know this would come, so it's quite understandable that this would be his reaction.
"Yes, it is really happening right now," Kurodai repeated the same words. "In case if I didn't mention it earlier, the physical test was recorded, to know if any student has any capabilities to be part of the Hero Course. I and the general realized watched yours and we decided that you should be part of it, considering how many Quirks you have gained."
"Wow, I can't believe that this going to happen. I'm finally in the Hero Course." Izuku smiled, still can't get over the sudden news. However, he did remember something. "Wait, did you say two Quirks?"
"That's right. The recording also records how the user's Quirks are being used during the test." Kurodai explained, right after he added. "Anyway, you'll be getting your new classroom number at the register. The Hero Course classrooms are on the west side of the building. Oh, and don't lose your classroom number, you need it in case if you get lost or can't find your way back."
"Where are you going, sir?" Izuku asked.
"I'll be checking at the command room for a while. Aside from being a homeroom teacher and first commander, I got other business as a scientist." Kurodai explained as he headed out to deal with his orders.
Meanwhile, Izuku was still there, standing on the floor with no words coming out of his mouth. He was happy to know that he is now part of the Hero Course, and it was very quick, to say the least. Normally, in order to get into one, he needs to partake in an entrance exam, as a means of testing if he's capable of being part of it or not.
But that was only in Hero Programs. Mostly, at UA, since their protocol and exam are a lot stricter than other hero schools.
He never knew that there was hope for him because it's just starting.
An hour has passed, and Izuku is still outside the hallway as he is heading his way to his new classroom in the Hero Course. But one reason that took him so long is that he has to wait for his classroom number to print out, in a form of an unbreakable card that took too long to process.
Izuku was now feeling happy and nervous at the same time. He's happy because he managed to get into the Hero Course, but he only got in because he had two Quirks and still didn't change into a Nomu. And nervous because he was going to meet with some new people, and wasn't easy he got to know everyone, barely, at his old class.
But now things are different, and he needs to remember that he's in the Hero Course. He can't make a bad impression in front of a class of students with unique Quirks. All he has to do is to keep calm, forget every single traumatic experience back before college, and just go with the flow.
As Izuku is walking in the west hall of the command room, he noticed that each classroom has the same door, but with a different number on the side. He was actually looking back at his info card and the rooms' number as he kept looking where his room is. At least he knows what the card is for.
"Well, this is the room. Room MC-1" Izuku finally found his designated room as he read what's on it. From where he's standing, he read the room number and looked back at his card. Guess he found it right.
He took a deep breath and threw away all of his anxiety at the imaginary door. "Okay… here goes nothing." He opened the sliding door and entered, hoping that nothing bad is going to happen on his first impression.
As he opened the door, he also knocked in order to let anyone inside know that he's coming in. "Um… excuse me, but I was told that this Room MC-1? I have a card in case if you can help me."
"Midoriya, is that you?" The green-haired boy heard a familiar voice that he recognized. "Woah, I never knew you would be in the Hero Course!"
Izuku's attention went to Floyd Kennedy, the same person who helped Izuku during the Nomu incident in Kamino Ward. This time, he saw Floyd wearing the usual KMA uniform, and had a big smile on his face as he was being greeted kindly.
"Hey man, I never knew that you'll be part of it. Normally, people like you with no Quirks can't be here, but had to take in being soldiers or getting into normal military ranks." Floyd complimented as he's proud to see Izuku be part of it until he realized he made a mistake. "Well, I mean, no offense on the last part, though." He quickly stated.
"N-No, it's fine, I understand," Izuku reassured me that he wasn't offended.
"Good to hear. Also, is it cool if I ask?"
"Sure, what is it?" Izuku wasn't sure what will be his question, but I hope it isn't something personal.
"Well, since you didn't have a Quirk until now, which everybody knows in the entire campus, is it possible that you're a late bloomer? Or was it something else?" Floyd asked such a question that made Izuku almost panic.
He can't just say that he got it from the Nomu bomb because it will freak him out, and maybe some of the other students inside. For sure, they can't let a student be in the Hero Course who gained a Quirk from a dangerous weapon.
So, the only thing he said, and will probably ever say, was. "It's… complicated. They said it wasn't because I was a late bloomer. There's still no answer to it." Crap, he wasn't supposed to say that! He cringed in his head, after forgetting what he was supposed to do in a situation like this.
"Complicated how?" Floyd asked, wanting to know more.
Until both men heard a female voice calling their attention. "Oi, Kennedy! You're letting all the air out of the room! Get back here, we're still not done having that conversation!"
"W-Who was that?" Izuku pondered, who also flinched after hearing her voice.
"Oh, that Midoriya, are your new classmates in Room-MC-1," Floyd answered. "Come on, get inside so you can get to know everyone. Trust me, they don't bite." He chuckled a little.
"Y-Yeah…" Izuku chuckled too, but weakly. Because he didn't understand if that was a joke, or the fact that meeting new people will be a little different, and hard, for him.
However, he didn't know that this was going to fast since he's new to all this. But, in order to become a Hero, he needs to get along with strangers, which will turn into allies, friends, and all that stuff.
"So, who's the moptop kid?" one student with acid-green faux hawk haircut asked, which made Izuku raise a brow with the word 'moptop'. Weird.
"Yeah, he seems new. Are you sure you're not lost?" The girl with red hair and a Scottish accent asked. "I mean, we can help you get back to your class, as long Kurodai isn't around."
"Well, about that. He's part of the Hero Course." Floyd announced.
The students from their seats were stunned to hear the news. "Wait, seriously? Since when?" the Scottish redhead asked.
"Just now. He got his Quirk awakened just now, and wanted to be part of it. But that's what he said, not me." Floyd explained. Izuku nodded in agreement, and the students believed him.
"It's actually true on what he said," Izuku spoke the truth. "Hi, my name is Izuku Midoriya, it's nice to meet you all." He introduced himself.
"Well, since it's obvious that you know this street smarts of an archer, then I'll go first." The Scottish redhead spoke as she introduced herself. "The names Rachel Fenris. I'm a student here and was transferred here after getting some high grades in my old school. I beat my old class after giving them a bloody sleep with my Quirk, and they were crying as if they missed their mommies!" the Scottish redhead, Rachel, bragged with a snicker, in a mix of a brash and humorous way.
"Wow, that's amazing! What kind of Quirk do you have?" Izuku was amazed by what he heard and realized he let out his habit. "I mean if that's fine with you."
"Heh. Sorry Izuku, but I can't use my Quirk here. The part where I said 'giving a bloody sleep with my Quirk' is meant literally." Rachel reassured with a smile, to which Izuku understand.
"Anyway, since we're already done with her – I'm Alex Cides!" the acid green-haired teen introduced. "Hey, Floyd, take a seat!"
"Alright, whatever you say-Gah!" Floyd suddenly fell from seating, only to realize that the chair's legs were removed with acid. As Alex laughed hysterically, Floyd cursed, "Damn it, Alex! Not again!"
"Priceless. Never get's old." Alex laughed once again, along with two snickering girls.
Meanwhile, Izuku was horrified by what he saw. "Hey, that was really dangerous. You could have really hurt him!" he scolded (somehow) in a worrying way.
"As long as Floyd isn't mad about it, then it's totally fine. As long as it isn't a few other people." Alex can feel a menacing aura from Rachel, who was covered by a dark aura and only showed two red menacing eyes.
Until he shook it off. "Ehrm!" he cleared his throat. "Anyway, my Quirk is called Acid Spit. I can shoot out my saliva-filled acid from my mouth, and it'll just melt everything away!" he explained, right after he held his stomach. "However, it only works if I started to feel full, so I need to eat twice as many in order to make my saliva… Ugh!" he started to groan in pain. At least Izuku knows that there are two people who introduced their Quirks.
"Hey, Greenie! Over here!" Izuku's attention was diverted as he faced a girl with dark-moss green hair, but the right side of her hair is in a form of an undercut. To add, she had a toothy grin as a sign of an introduction.
"Name's Setsuna Tokage. It's nice to meet you Izuku, especially people like you with good-look, green hair." She teased on the last part, which made him stuttering, blushing mess.
Of course, his weakness was revealed. "T-T-Thank you, T-Tokage."
Setsuna snorted until she burst out laughing a bit. "Man, this guy's a lot flustered when it comes to girls! This is priceless: A late bloomer AND a shy type!" she laughed once again. "But seriously, sorry to tease you, I thought it'll just make you smile a bit."
"N-N-No problem, T-T-Tokage." The green-haired boy reassured weakly as he gave off a weak thumbs up.
"Okay… that was something," Floyd said as he noticed Izuku's blushing state. "Anyway, this something that you need to know about us Izuku. And I bet you want to know how some of us foreigners got here in Japan, right?"
"Yeah, that's my question actually. How did you three enroll here?" Izuku asked, wanting to know.
"To start off, Rachel got here after getting higher grades. So, me and Alex just enrolled here after moving to Japan. And as for Setsuna, she was a recommended student so she got accepted immediately here in the Atom." Floyd explained. "So yeah, basically some of us worked hard to get here. You in the other hand, just got in because your Quirk just manifest. But I won't question it, and question you about it." He reassured. "Besides, we're not gonna hurt you or anything, we're not jerks."
Izuku never knew that this would happen. The one thing that he never had in his entire life.
Friends. Really, good, kind, fun and nice friends.
When he made friends with Bakugo, he was nothing but a plain jerk since they met when they were little kids. Bakugo wouldn't just make Izuku play hostage or Villain when they play, but he would also use him as a floor mat, or just basically ignore him like if he's a brick wall by the alleyway. However, despite all that, Izuku still mingled with Bakugo ever since.
But now that he's in college and he's nowhere to be seen, his chances of getting tortured by Quirked people and getting outcasted are now finally over. He has now a new opportunity to gain, and he won't waste it like… Wait, why waste it? This is what he needs after all.
Izuku just smiled at them. "Thank you for understanding. It's really nice to know that from all of you."
"Glad to hear, Izuku," Rachel replied. "So, you wanna join us for a while? We were just talking about an old tale when Alex almost his Quirk to burn of his feet after getting stuck by rocks."
"And just when things are getting great! Come on, Rachel! Anything but that!" Alex was furious and scarred by the sudden say. As he was begging, Rachel started to keep reminding him how funny it was when his stomach starts rumbling from using his Quirk.
Eventually, Izuku decided to join in and takes a seat.
Fukuoka City
In the most-busiest and the business-filled city of Japan, Fukuoka City is known for being a large and heavily populated city, and it's also known with it's well known agency of the Wing Hero: Hawks was located, and the ever famous skyscraper, the Fukuoka Tower.
However, a few years back, an incident when Endeavor fought against a High-End Nomu has been a huge issue that reflected the entire KMA in Japan. And in order to not let this happen once again, the government ordered a KMA base to scout around Fukuoka to make sure that there are no Nomu attacks that will likely to concur.
Unfortunately, there were reports about 'two hooded villains' roaming around the city, and mostly at Central Fukuoka, and it was according to the civilians who saw them many times in two weeks. So, a KMA squadron was posted to investigate the city's issue.
"Got anything?" a KMA Trooper asked another, who is maskless and carrying a GPS device. It seems that the squadron are doing a full search around the area. There are the only two soldiers that are stationed at a train station on ground.
"No, not really. But this thing's really busted, and I can't even tell why?" the maskless trooper sounded annoyed. He may be wearing the uniform, but any KMA's technology isn't all that advanced.
"Hey, calm down. Just because KMA doesn't have any good tech with them, doesn't mean you should be pissed off about it." The trooper said.
"It's not that I'm worried, it's this complaint that the city has." The maskless trooper retorted. "Come on, Hawks's agency is in Fukuoka, which we are posted in, and I don't even see a damn Villain or Nomu around. Besides, isn't he the Number Two Pro? Can't he deal with it instead?"
"Yeah, come to think of it, you may have a point." The other trooper started to agree with his partner, but he dropped it. "BUT, since we're here, there's nothing we can do about it. I mean, what's gonna happen next: A bunch of two cloaked civilians appear out of nowhere and we'll have to deal with it?" he chuckled. "Yeah, and let's call a Pro to deal with it." He continued chuckling, finding the outcome funny.
Which really did happen.
Two miles away from where they are, there are two, hooded 'civilians' walking their way like if they are not Villains, which they are of course. Besides, how can you tell if two Villains are having a poor disguise? They always like carry something with them, money or a weapon. Regardless on whatever they're going to do.
One hooded Villain stopped walking as he looked at the two KMA soldiers a mile away. Immediately, he panicked, "Hey, wait!" he whispered loudly, and pulled his partner's cloak.
"What?! What is it?!" a buff-looking Villain angrily asked.
His partner pointed at the two soldiers. "The KMA are here!" he stated. "We can't let them know we're here! They'll find out that we have a bomb!"
The buff Villain sighed. "Great, just my luck after joining this stupid group." He groaned. "Okay, uh… I think I have an idea."
"Oh yeah? What?"
"We'll just keep walking behind their backs. They won't probably know we're here. And besides, you can tell that guy's laughing at something stupid, and that other guy just doesn't know we're behind him."
"Do you think it'll work?"
"Listen, I've been part of a Yakuza after I got kicked out, so just trust me on this cause I don't do stealth that much!" he sounded annoyed, wanting to end the conversation.
"Geez, just asking." The other one muttered.
The Villains make their move as they walked their way to a delivery truck, which is their main vehicle, and make sure that they weren't caught by the two busy soldiers. Once they reached the alleyway, a large wind blew around, and it went directly to the buff Villian's partner.
He panicked as his cover was blown, whose appearance is actually skinny. "Hey, my cloak! It's getting away!" he yelled, and tried to grab his cloak.
"You idiot! Leave it! It's just a stupid cloak!" the buff villain tried to get him to come back, but his partner didn't listen. Meanwhile, the masked soldier stopped laughing, only to find the two Villains on the spot of the center. The soldier walked his way at the two, which got the attention of the buff Villain.
"You idiot, they found us!" instead, and he grabbed him after an object dropped on his hands. "Come on, we need to get going now!"
"Hey! You two! Stay where you are!" the soldier overheard them. The other soldier went behind him, readying his rifle. "What are you two arguing about? And what's with the cloaks?"
"Well, it's… getting windy. So, we need cloaks to keep ourselves warm. Ever heard about the weather?" the buff Villain explained. He's excuse sounded so terrible.
"Uh-huh, around twelve in the afternoon." The soldier noticed a hexagonal-shaped device. "And what's that on the ground? You two planning something?"
The other soldier checked the bomb and realized what it is. "Hey, wait! I know that shape elsewhere. It's a –" before he could say it, he was cut off with a –
BANG!
The skinny Villain shot him in the arm with his gun. "They know what we have! Come on, let's go!" he raced back to the delivery truck.
"Right!" the buff Villain grabbed the Nomu bomb on the ground, "Can't believe this is happening right now!" he muttered angrily.
"Hey, are you alright?" the soldier checked on his friend to check on him and noticed that he's bleeding from the gunshot. He even heard a truck drove off from the alleyway, as it turned right. "Hang in there, I'm calling back up now." He grabbed his pager on his vest. "I got a man down, two Villains riding in a white delivery truck, and they're heading straight to the Umai Building. I repeat, Villains heading to the Umai Building, and they have a Nomu bomb with them! Need medical assistance and back up now!"
"Understood, back up on their way, and paramedics heading to your location."
The white delivery truck made a hard right turn as it raced its way from the busy streets, avoiding every car they see. Looks like keeping their identity with cloaks isn't a good idea, except for the buff Villain since he's been wearing it.
The skinny Villain looked scared, knowing that he revealed and did something irrational in front of two military soldiers. "Crap, crap, crap! I know I shouldn't volunteer in this! Why did I even say yes, when I can just clean the walls!"
"Hey! Quit your whining, what kind of man are you if keep staying inside! I was the one who made you volunteer in this mission! You needed this, my friend." The buff Villain idiotically explained what he did. "Just keep driving to a large building and we can –"
"Villains! Stop your vehicle, or we'll use force on you to make you surrender!"
They're now caught. Crap.
Behind them are two military hummers as they chased them down in the open widened streets. And along with them, is a Pro Hero Agent who's on top of one hummer, looking at them with a menacing glare.
"Who's that shark-looking freak?" the buff Villain asked.
"Shark?" the skinny villain looked at the side mirror to see who it is, and looked like he crapped his pants. "Oh, shit! It's Earth Shark! The KMA has Earth Shark with them?! We're fucked by now!
"Surrender now, while you still have the chance! Or face punishment!" the shark hero jumped from the hummer to the ground like it was water. However, this was also a demonstration of how his Quirk works. Once he entered the ground, he 'swim' his way to the truck and he is already beside them.
"Wait, so that Earth Shark guy can swim on the ground? How lame!" the buff villain mocked. "What's he gonna do? Bite off the wheels?"
However, for Earth Shark, his collar activated as it covered his face, with a mechanized helmet that has a form of an actual Tiger Shark. Once activated, he quickly took a bite out of the wheel of the truck, as it started to go out of control.
Both villains yelled in fear, as they lost control of their only getaway vehicle, and crashed directly inside the Umai Building, creating a large hole, and damaging the interior. There were a few that got hurt and some were lucky to avoid the truck's entrance.
Earth Shark arrived at the damaged building, and he jumped out of the ground. He looked at the truck to see it destroyed after it made an impact to the wall. He didn't feel too worried about the Villains since he was informed that they were carrying a bomb.
"Commander, tell your men to wait outside and guide many civilians as you can away from the Umai Building. I'll be investigating the Villains' truck." The shark hero reported through his pager.
"Understood, sir!" the trooper replied.
As Earth Shark walked his way to the vehicle, he can easily tell that there will be sudden surprises since Villains are too sneaky and they know when to make surprises against Heroes. However, how they crashed inside, he can easily state that the villains won't be doing such a thing.
Earth Shark reached his way to the truck and saw the front and driver's seats are both empty, and not even a single Nomu bomb has been seen. He cursed to himself. "Damn it. If the Villains are gone, then where is it that bomb?"
Suddenly, he was met with a straight punch, which is strong enough to push Earth Shark away. As he got up, he realized who he saw as he glared with anger. "I know that punch somewhere, and it only came from you… Kendo Rappa!"
The buff villain removed his cloak, revealing himself to be the real Kendo Rappa. It was no telling why did he joined a different Villain group, and not with the dangerous yakuza called the Shie Hassakai. As always, Rappa is in his white shirt and dark pants covered by a light blue tunic and decorated with two belts. Also, he has his signature leather-strapped, metal-covered knuckle gloves. And, of course, the plague mask he wears all the time.
"Huh, so the shark head knows me. Guess I'm pretty famous then!" Rappa taunted. "Well, I hope you're ready for a fight, cause I'm turning you into shark fin soup!" he charged at him as he yelled, as his battle cry. Ready to start a battle which he is obsessed with.
"I'll be turning you into the authorities where you belong, Rappa!" Earth Shark used his Quirk to create a rock-like shield, to block Rappa. However, the battle-obsessed villain used his own Quirk, Strongarm, to destroy the shield rapidly.
"Nice Quirk, for a Pro Hero Agent like you! You should be fighting, not blocking you coward!" he demanded, wanting to fight the shark hero.
"If you insist then." The shark hero swim onto the ground as he immediately swam behind Rappa, and delivered a powerful kick, which also made him collide with the rock-like shield he made.
Rappa got up from the ground after receiving such an attack. He smiled, knowing that this is what he wanted, and he had no regrets about it. "Nice move, but it's gonna a lot more than that! So, keep it up, 'cause I'm gonna come after you!"
Quickly, Earth Shark created more rock shields from the ground, and make them launch at him. However, the battle-obsessed Villain kept dodging each shield that was coming at him. Rappa delivered an endless supply of bullets with Strongarm, only for Earth Shark to block it, despite the furious punches.
"That's right, keep blocking all you want! I'm still pumped from the fight you're giving me!" Rappa said with overconfidence surrounding his sentence.
Earth Shark was thrown away after he lost focus to keep still from his Strongarm Quirk. Immediately, he dived back to the ground as he emerged behind Rappa, who caught him immediately. However, he created another rock shield to block his right punch, and dive back in the ground.
"Seriously? Is this all you're going to do? Make stupid rocks and run away? I want a real fight – get in here!" the battle-obsessed villain was pissed off. However, as Earth Shark emerged again, he created another rock shield as it continuously repeated, as if they're surrounding Rappa, which is happening already.
"Hey, why are these stupid rocks surrounding me?! I said I want a real fight, so get these things out of my way!" Rappa angrily demanded as he is being surrounded by every layer of rock shields.
The shark emerged in front of Rappa, whose face is only what's being seen from the rock layers he created. "In case you're too smart to know this Rappa, you're Strongarm Quirk has a huge limit if you keep overusing them. So, I believed that our little fight is over in an instant." He explained.
Rock Water Hero: Earth Shark. His Quirk: Earth Swim. Aside from controlling the ground, he can also swim on the Earth's ground as if it's like swimming on the water. However, he gets easily tired if he swims, so it's complicated.
Once Earth Shark created a final layer to cover Rappa, he reported back to the commander. "Commander, I have Kendo Rappa trapped inside the hotel entrance. Did you find the Nomu bomb?"
"Negative, Earth Shark. We haven't seen anyone holding a Nomu bomb when we evacuated the citizens to safety. All of them are clean." The commander replied.
"I see. I'll investigate here for a while. In the meantime, call in reinforcements to detain Rappa immediately." As he said his orders, he resume finding the Nomu bomb. But first, he wanted to talk with someone.
Meanwhile, the skinny Villain, who survived the crash, is hiding behind the hotel walls. He watched from a hole as he saw Earth Shark looking for him.
"Crap! I can't let him see me! What am I gonna do?" he whispered in panic. He realized that he has a Nomu bomb with him. He knew what will happen as fear run down his skin. But, he has no other choice.
Earth Shark removed a layer from the rock cage he made and spoke to Rappa. "Where's the Nomu bomb, Rappa? Let's be smart, I know you wouldn't be the type to hide and keep something safe. So, where is it?"
"Like hell, I'm telling you! That bomb will create an even better punching bag for me to beat up." Rappa replied, and it wasn't the answer that he is looking for. Suddenly, Rappa noticed the rock cage he is in as they start to compress him. "W-What the hell?! Stop that, it's annoying!"
"I'm not going to ask again, Rappa. Where is the Nomu bomb." He sounded serious. His hands are controlling the rock cage, in order for them to compress him inside so he can talk.
Suddenly, a large explosion was heard behind the walls of the hotel. The explosion got Earth Shark's attention as he stopped interrogating Rappa, and focused at the large smoke that was being created. Curious, he walked slowly, and with his Quirk forming two larger rock hands surrounding his arms.
Immediately, a monstrous hand appeared from the smoke, followed by an actual monster that appeared, as it let out a loud scream of horror. In short, the skinny villain transformed into a Nomu.
Immediately, Earth Shark pounced at the Nomu and delivered each punch with his rock-covered hands, which had no effect, as the Nomu immediately swatted him like a bug. The Nomu prepared to jump at him, and the Rock Water hero immediately dived back to the ground again, after it made it's jump.
With the Nomu confused, Earth Shark emerged from the ground, activated his shark-shaped helmet, and quickly took a bite out of the Nomu's head. The Nomu yelled in pain after his face was bitten off, causing it to pass out from losing a part of it.
"Ugh, disgusting…" he removed a chunk of a Nomu's meat from his helmet's teeth. He checked to see if Rappa is safe from the Nomu's short attack, he realized that the rock cage was destroyed, and had a huge hole on it.
He escaped. Again.
Meanwhile, back at the Atom, Izuku chuckling along with the other students of Room-MC1. What was so funny, and what made Izuku chuckle?
"And then after trying to get my hair wet. Me and Set here decided to pull him another prank. This time, he almost ate one of her scales! And it was bloody brilliant!" Rachel laughed her ass of, as Setsuna also joined with her. Floyd and Izuku chuckled, while Alex was so embarrassed.
"Hey, it was a good prank!" Alex retorted. "I worked so hard on it!"
"Pssh, that prank's already old like your other pranks, Alex." The group howled in laughter at Setsuna's reply. Then, she faced Izuku. "Besides, I bet Midoriya likes that story. What do you think, Greenie? The best thing we did?"
His face immediately flushed with pure red. "O-Oh, yeah! It w-was a-a pretty g-good prank." He smiled as he covered his face to hide his blushing, making Setsuna chuckle a bit.
Suddenly, Kurodai entered the room. "Alright, class. I can see that all of you are now acquainted with Midoriya around. Anyway, all of you can take your lunch, and head to the Field Mock Gym once you're done."
"Hai, Kurodai-sensei!" the students all said as they head out to eat lunch.
Before Izuku could join the others, he was called by Kurodai. "Midoriya, wait for a second. It's very important, and you need to know this."
"What is it, Kurodai-sensei?" Izuku walked back inside the classroom, to know what will be so important for him to know.
"So, as I said seconds ago, you and your classmates will be formed outside at the Field Mock Gym, right?" he received a nod from the green-haired boy as a reply. "Well, to put it simply, this will be your first time to do this. I can't really give all of you the details about it, but there will also be a Pro Hero in it, who will act as a coach for all of you."
"Wait, really?! A-Pro Hero is going to coach us?!" Izuku sounded excited at the sudden, yet short, news. Seeing a Pro Hero coaching all of them will be something that will make him feel intrigued even more for the new task he'll be in. "Who is he?"
"I can't also say. It's a secret." Kurodai stated. Izuku understands as a reply. "However, there is something I want to give you for today's activity later." He showed him a pair of gloves, that looked sleek and advanced with some weapon mechanisms attached to it. And the way how it's designed made it look like a prototype.
Izuku looked at the gloves with amazement, admiring their design. "Wow, what are these gloves for?"
"These gloves are for your Quirk, and for today's activity. According to KMA guidelines, since every Agent student is going to fight dangerous Villains and Nomus in the future, all of you will be needing weapons as your main equipment. And the medical bay said that in their results, your hands get swollen and injured every time you use your Quirk."
"My very first Support Items. And it's designed to avoid my injury? I can see why though, but I did hurt my hand when I used my Quirk." The green-haired boy was happy and confused by the sudden equipment he is receiving, but he did understand why it's needed for him.
"You can put them on later once you're ready with the others. In the meantime, enjoy your lunch." Kurodai said as Izuku walks his way out of the room. "Hold on, Midoriya. Welcome to the Hero Course."
"Thank you, Kurodai-sensei." Izuku thanked me as he headed out of the classroom to get lunch and be ready for later.
Izuku's first day in the Hero Course is just the beginning, and Setsuna is introduced.
Also, I just want to plot out that since this is an AU, I might be also adding some characters that already exist in the world oFf MHA and I might be giving them different Quirks that are similar and based on their alternate versions. Setsuna is an example already and will show off her powers in future chapters. And the reason why I added Setsuna here in the chapter is that she's one my favorite girls in 1B, and I can't really blame Horikoshi for creating interesting female characters in the anime.
Sorry if there isn't an opening remark, but I decided to not put one, and put some here instead, which will be longer. Anyway, so I just made a new story and I hope all of you will check it soon. Anyway, please leave a review and I'll see you in the next chapter.
