"It… It's you…"
"Izuku? What's wrong, dude?" Setsuna asked, nudging him.
Izuku glanced at her, then back at the man, before taking a step towards him and opening his mouth to say something. "I-"
"Hello!"
Izuku and Setsuna both snapped their heads to look at the interruption. A ginger haired girl with teal eyes had come over and raised a hand in greeting, breaking Izuku from his seeming trance.
"Hey! I'm Setsuna Tokage!" The green haired girl responded quickly, throwing another glance at Izuku to try and determine if he was alright.
"Y-Yo. Izuku Bakugo." Izuku muttered, tearing his eyes away from the man at the front once more.
"I'm Itsuka Kendo, it's nice to meet you. Most of the class are here already, so you can just take a free seat." The girl in front of them smiled, gesturing over her shoulder at the rows of seats behind her, about two thirds of which were already filled.
"Are you the class rep? Already?" Izuku asked in surprise.
"E-Eh?!" Itsuka asked in surprise. "No! I just like, you know, making people feel welcome and making sure nobody's uncomfortable, or anything. The rep for my old class was a prick to everyone, always just trying to suck up to the teacher, so I did most of his jobs."
"Well, you've already got my vote!" Setsuna grinned, patting the girl's shoulder as she walked past her. Izuku nodded his agreement as he did the same.
Itsuka blushed. 'We've not even started yet, and they trust me that much?! My new classmates are so nice!'
"SO YOU ARE ALL MY NEW 1-B CLASSMATES! NICE TO MEET YOU! LET'S WORK TOGETHER TO SHOW THOSE 1-A ASSHOLES THEIR PROPER PLACE!"
'Okay, maybe not ALL my new classmates, but that was to be expected. Honestly, we've not even met 1-A yet…'
Meanwhile, Izuku and Setsuna made their way to the back of the class, where they would usually sit with the now missing Katsuki.
Izuku walked to a free seat in the back row, one away from the window at the right of the class. Looking to his right as he sat down, he paused at the sight of the beautiful black haired girl beside him, before regaining his composure. "H-Hey."
The girl just stared at him quietly, watching him sit down. Izuku turned to Setsuna, who had sat in the seat to his left, and raised his eyebrows at her. She just shrugged in response. Then-
"SO YOU ARE ALL MY NEW 1-B CLASSMATES! NICE TO MEET YOU! LET'S WORK TOGETHER TO SHOW THOSE 1-A ASSHOLES THEIR PROPER PLACE!"
Both Izuku and Setsuna looked to the doorway to see a deranged looking blonde laughing maniacally while Dio posing in the doorway.
'We've certainly got a few… characters in this class…' Both of them thought simultaneously. 'I wonder how Katsuki/Kacchan's doing.'
Katsuki was missing his brother and girlfriend, regardless of what he may have said earlier. As soon as he'd sat down, some stick up the ass had come to yell at him for putting his feet up on the desk, and then a yellow worm had showed up at the door claiming to be their teacher.
They'd been taken outside immediately, because in the words of their new homeroom teacher, Mr. Aizawa, "Orientations were illogical."
Now that was a sentiment Katsuki could agree with. He didn't come to U.A to waste his time in fucking orientations.
They were quickly set up with quirk apprehension tests, and it was therein that Bakugo's problems lay.
Doing shit like this with Izuku and Setsuna would've made it fun. But most of the people in his class were starting to piss him off.
And as if that wasn't enough, at the end of the eight tests, the teacher had shone up their results.

18. Denki Kaminari
19. Kyoka Jiro
20. Minoru Mineta
Third! He, Katsuki Bakugo, had placed less than first, and it wasn't to his brother or girlfriend? Unacceptable.
Well and truly pissed off, at least he'd get to watch the little purple freak get expelled for placing last. Or so he'd thought, before Aizawa had told them it was just a 'logical ruse' to get them to work harder.
And after all of that, the High Class bitch that had beaten him had the audacity to act like she knew the whole fucking time. But he knew she'd been shitting her pants the whole time. And now some shitty red haired guy was trying to get his attention for no reason.
Katsuki sighed and spat to the side as they walked back to the school building. 'Fuck this shit. When's lunch, already?'
"Now that everyone's finally in their seats, I guess I'll introduce myself."
Izuku sat ramrod straight as he focused all his attention on the man who was now leaning on the side of the class podium, arms folded.
"I'm Mr. Sukehiro."
Izuku waited a few seconds.
'WHAT, THAT'S IT?!'
"Yeah." The teacher said as if reading the boy's thoughts. He then pulled a tracksuit that looked like U.A's P.E uniform. "Now chuck these on and get your asses outside."
Everyone was handed a U.A tracksuit, and they all just held them and stared at him in shock.
" Well? Get a move on before I bash some heads."
Itsuka raised her arm politely. "But Mr. Sukehiro, what about the orientation-."
The teacher's eyes swung to her as a purple and black aura started to burn around him. "Are the Villains out there getting orientation tours? No. Most of the time they figure shit out as they go along. Are you saying the Villains are tougher than you? Use your head before I crush it."
There were no more complaints after that. They all just got up and went to change.
Assembling outside after changing, they saw Class 1-A on their way, who had also appeared to skip the orientation. Monoma was about to go and say something, but a sharp glare from Mr. Sukehiro put a quick stop to that.
Looking for Katsuki, Izuku and Setsuna spotted him being handed a softball and blowing it to kingdom come. Izuku smirked. "Ah, that's our Kacchan. I'm so proud!"
Setsuna gave him a quizzical glance. "You do remember he's older than you, right?"
"Shut up, Setsuna. He is only two months older than me."
"Right, we're here." Their teacher grunted after they'd walked for a few more minutes. "So remember the physical tests you've done through Middle school? You're gonna do them using your quirks now."
"Woah! Cool!" A boy with a white and blue bandanna commented.
"Yeah, this looks like it'll be fun!" Another boy with brown hair agreed.
The teacher stared at them. "Whatever. Just make sure you take this seriously. Or else you. Will . Regret it."
Both boys gulped. "Ah, yes Sensei."
The teacher turned to Izuku. "Brat!"
Izuku stiffened. 'He even says 'brat' the same way! It has to be him! So why doesn't he seem to remember me?' "Yes, Sukehiro-Sensei?!"
"You had the most points in the entrance exam. Set a new record for anyone that isn't All Might, even. But this time, your friend isn't here. So I want you to show me what you can do by yourself." He said, throwing him a soft ball. "Throw that ball however you see fit, just as long as you stay in that circle." He said, pointing to the circle in the field a few feet away.
"Okay." Izuku nodded, remembering back to the entrance exam. It had just been pure luck that had placed he and Katsuki together, really.
"Yo, what mock city are you in, Kacchan?"
"Says I'm in B. You?"
Izuku looked down at his card. "Says I'm in Battle Centre B too. Weird. I woulda thought they'd put people from the same middle school in different areas to avoid cooperation."
Katsuki nodded. But just then, their question was answered.
"HEEEYYYY! FORGOT TO TELL YOU, BUT DUE TO A STUDENT TESTING OUT AN AWAKENING IN THEIR QUIRK AND ACCIDENTALLY DESTROYING HALF OF BATTLE CENTRE D THE OTHER DAY, IT'S OUT OF UUUUUSE! SO SOME OF YOU MAY BE IN CENTRES WITH YOUR FRIENDS! TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION IF YOU WANT!"
Izuku and Katsuki both raised eyebrows at Present Mic's statement. "A singular student testing out their quirk leveled half a fucking town?" Katsuki muttered.
Izuku shrugged. "U.A students must be crazy good."
Similar conversations could be heard by everyone as the 'Devil Brothers' made their way to their testing site.
"Wow, imagine how strong you gotta be to do that much damage, by ACCIDENT!"
"Do you think we'll all get that powerful in time if we get in?"
"Well, U.A is the best Hero school in the country. If anyone's capable of making us all into powerhouses, it's them."
"Well, it would depend on the work we put in too. That Hero that debuted a few years ago, Slide 'n' Go? He graduated from U.A, and he's doo doo."
"Hm...True."
Soon they reached the massive testing area, and the duo began to stretch. "You'd better not mess up, Izuku." Katsuki smirked at his brother.
The other Bakugo smirked right back. "Projecting onto me, are we?"
Katsuki grinned and opened his mouth to answer, before being loudly spoken over.
"AND...BEGIN!"
The two looked at each other, shrugged, and as everyone else looked around in confusion, Izuku and Katsuki shot into the exam area, Katsuki boosting just above the ground with his explosions while Izuku flew a bit higher, jets of flame shooting from his ankles.
A one pointer rolled around the corner. "Target locked! Prepare for terminat-"
It was promptly cut off as Izuku's heel rapidly melted through its head like a hot knife through butter while Katsuki blew a massive hole right in the middle of its chest. 'Too easy!'
Dimly, they registered Present Mic's voice in the background. "THERE ARE NO COUNTDOWNS IN REAL LIFE! THOSE TWO HAVE THE RIGHT IDEA! YYYYYEEAAAHHH!"
"Shut the hell up!" Katsuki yelled, taking out his anger at someone else being louder than him on a two pointer by blowing its scorpion tail and head off, then vaporising its body.
Seeing another one pointer lunging for Katsuki's back, Izuku shot towards it and performed a spinning back kick that dented it's armour. It went to retaliate, but Izuku's foot, still planted in its chest, suddenly flared up and blasted fire, melting a hole right through.
Katsuki nodded his thanks, and the two shared a feral grin as they shot off together in the search for more opponents.
They soon fell into a rhythm, attacking bots and defending each other's backs, until they'd completely lost count of how many bots they'd obliterated. Katsuki didn't bother helping others unless they actually looked like they were about to die, but Izuku, always true to his promise, went out of his way to help anyone he saw in trouble.
"Oi, Izuku!" Katsuki yelled as he took out yet another three pointer with a double handed explosion. "Didn't he say there would be a massive one? Where the fuck's it at?"
Izuku raised an eyebrow. "Look up my ass! How am I supposed to know!?" He shouted back, delivering a flaming stomping front kick to a two pointer. "If you can't see something that big, why would I be able to?"
THOOM!
"Oh. Speak of the devil, there it is."
Katsuki bared his teeth in a smirk as he watched the massive robot, ignoring everyone else running in the opposite direction. "Nah. We're the devils here."
Izuku smirked, bouncing on his toes as he easily discerned the meaning of Katsuki's words. "You want to fight it?" He chuckled, his own grin starting to come out again.
"Is that even a fucking question?"
And with that, the two shot forwards from standing starts, Izuku was shooting forward with his quirk with his arms trailing out behind them. Katsuki was using his quirk to fly through the air beside the greenette. "Izuku, let's try that damn super move we thought of a couple months ago!"
The verdette grinned. "Right!" He shouted, speeding up with the help of his quirk as flames trailed behind his feet.
Suddenly, he saw a girl trapped under some rubble. Faster than a traffic warden seeing a car in an unpaid parking spot, he changed direction and in a flash, scooped the majority of the rubble right off of her using his momentum, dropping her a few metres away without even slowing down.
"You're welcome, see ya!" He yelled as he leapt up, boosting with his quirk and sending a high powered flaming kick to one of the knee joints of the zero pointer, weakening it.
At the same time, Katsuki, who had flown up to the robot's head, dodged the slow swipe of the robot and sent as high powered a blast as he could still manage, which took out a couple of its 'eyes'.
The ash-blonde boy then let himself fall, passing Izuku who was now flying up at high speed. As they passed each other, Izuku swung his brother at the knee joint he'd just targeted, before continuing to fly upwards, past the head of the zero pointer until he was about three times as high as it.
Meanwhile, Katsuki, having been swung at the knee, landed on the still hot metal and blasted it repeatedly until it finally broke through. The zero pointer fell in a lopsided way, and the older brother hopped up to its chest before sticking his hands in his armpits and jogging up and down to make them sweat as much as possible.
Izuku, as high as he was, finally allowed himself to drop, diving face first and boosting himself as fast as possible until he reached what he assumed was terminal velocity at his current power. Just before he reached the zero pointer's head, he did a front flip midair, stretching his leg out and turning his quirk up to the max.
At the same time, Katsuki pressed both his hands to the massive robot's chest.
"Ground Zero Impulse!"
The two roared as one as they delivered their attacks.
The robot was obliterated.
"AANNNDDD THAT'S TIME OUTTTTT!"
As the smoke cleared, the rest of the examinees watched in shock as the zero point robot was revealed to now be a few pieces of scrap metal and a whole load of molten material.
"That was fucking awesome!"
Their jaws dropping, they looked to see Katsuki Bakugo pop up completely unharmed, shaking the dust from his hair.
"I know, right?!"
Izuku Bakugo jumped off the building he had landed on, his quirk sputtering as he reached the ground but managing to slow his fall enough that he could stumble to a stop.
"Feels like my arms got a few fractures in them, though." Katsuki hissed, rubbing the offending limbs together while wincing.
"I... can't get enough... oxygen." Izuku admitted with wheezing breaths as he breathed in and out, knowing his quirk's weakness of using the oxygen in his body to produce the fire. "Plus... the leg I... used for the final... attack feels like it's... been sat on by Fat Gum..." Panting, he beat his chest a few times while coughing as his body started to pull in more of the sweet air it needed.
"You saved me." A girl's voice said behind them. "Thank you so much!"
The two turned to her. Unfortunately, Izuku hadn't stopped grinning yet, and she screamed in fright.
Izuku scratched his head. "Ah… Whoops."
"No, I'm sorry!" The girl hastily apologised. "I shouldn't have been so surprised. I-"
"What in heaven's name happened here?!"
All three of them turned to see who had spoken. "Oh, it's Recovery Girl." Izuku realised. Katsuki nodded. Then both boys noticed the disapproving look she was giving the mess their handiwork had produced, and both winced.
"We, uh, destroyed the zero pointer." Izuku chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck.
Recovery Girl shook her head. "Youngsters these days. You! I can tell your arms are injured just by looking from here!" She went to kiss Katsuki's hand, but he scrambled backwards.
"The fuck?!"
Izuku smirked. "That's how she activates her quirk, you dumbass."
"Shut the hell up! I fucking knew that!" Katsuki snapped, allowing the Heroine to kiss his cheek.
"Oh ho, wait til I tell Setsuna you're accepting kisses from other girls now."
"Izuku! I'll kill you!"
Recovery Girl just sighed as she walked over to heal Izuku. "You two are certainly going to be handfuls if you get in."
"IF?!"
"KATSUKI! STOP THAT! SHE'S STILL A U.A TEACHER!"
Ah, the good times.
When their results came back, Izuku had ended up with 163 points, and Katsuki had taken home a respectable 146 points due to his reluctance to help anyone that didn't have green hair and the last name Bakugo.
Apparently defeating the zero pointer to save the other examinees -Izuku sweatdropped, listening to All Might (All Might himself!) tell him that when he knew fine well why he and Katsuki had fought the thing- had gained them 60 points alone, each.
But thanks to their previous teamwork, now Izuku apparently needed to prove that he could make it here on his own. The verdette walked towards the circle slowly, soft ball in hand as he planned his next move.
Suddenly, he gave his signature grin as he threw it up in the sky above him before turning to face his classmates, who looked in surprise at him. Then, as the ball began to fall towards him again, he lashed out with a reverse roundhouse kick.
Right when the ball made contact with his heel, he activated his quirk. Flames exploded out like a jet stream. Gusts of wind blew around, all of his classmates squinting in awe.
"Wh-...What the hell?" The kid with the headband said, taking a step back.
"I can feel the heat of the fire from here…!" A guy with silver hair shouted, his body seeming to turn silvery and shiny.
"Might he be a demon from the underworld?" A vine hair girl questioned, trying to keep her distance from the fire.
Kendo was just awed at how Bakugo had perfectly timed the falling of the ball - without even needing to look until the last second-, how perfectly he'd executed the form of that kick and how gracefully he'd gone through the actions. Well, gracefully to a martial artist like her. Most of the others probably only saw the overall product, like how a non-sports player could watch it on the TV and know 'oh, that was a good pass' without appreciating all of the skills, techniques and awareness that went on in the play.
But Itsuka had been the only martial artist in her year at her middle school, so she was fascinated to see someone who actually shared that type of skill set. 'Maybe I can ask him to spar with me sometime'.
"Wow…" The black haired girl from earlier murmured gently under her breath as the wind and flames began to die down. Izuku stood up straight and took a deep breath before realization hit him.
"Oh crap, I didn't burn it to a crisp, did I?"
"Relax, you dolt." Sukehiro said before taking the cigarette out of his mouth. He took out a tablet from his pocket. "The softballs we use for this stuff are designed by the support course, I'd be surprised if you even left it with any burn marks…" He looked down at his screen and raised an eyebrow. "Huh…"
"Well….?" A black haired kid asked from beside him as Izuku patiently waited for his results.
"892.3 meters. Damn, kid. Not too shabby at all." He said as he put the tablet in his pocket again. "But then again, I expect every single one of you to do your absolute best here in these tests. Push past your limits, I don't want to hear any complaining. Now, any questions?"
"…"
"Good, first test is the 50-meter dash. He looked down at a clipboard with a paper on it as he popped the cigarette out of his mouth. Itsuka wanted to say something about his smoking, but decided to keep it quiet because this guy is scary as hell.
"Kamakiri, Midoriya, you're up."
"Eh? But Sensei, I just went! Don't I get a bit of rest?"
"Plus Ultra."
Izuku sighed with a grin and looked around for his opponent. He saw a fellow greenette with a mohawk stepping forward, standing a good 7 inches taller than him. He had sharp tusks and a steely glare.
They began walking up to the starting line. "I'll beat you."
"Yeah, yeah, gimme a second." Izuku replied before turning to those behind him. "You might want to step aside so you're not directly behind us. I mean unless you enjoy getting burned, that is."
Everyone moved to the sidelines, they knew to get the hell out of the way after seeing the previous jet explosion of fire. Everyone but their teacher moved. He just stood there, smoking a cigarette.
The silver haired boy from earlier stared in awe at him. 'That's so manly. Maybe I should go back and stand with him!' He thought. Then he shivered as he remembered the sheer power and heat from the verdette's quirk. 'On second thoughts, I'll just stick here with everyone else.'
Izuku bent down as he got into a running position. "Don't get cocky just because you kicked a ball kinda far." Kamakiri sniped as he appeared to make small blades on the soles of his feet.
Izuku just let fire flare from the back of his feet again, tensing up his muscles. Suddenly, the sound of a gun shot out and both boys dashed to the finish line, Kamakiri sprinting with his improved grip while Izuku flew low over the ground, his body parallel to it as he shot forwards.
"Lane one, 2.59 seconds."
"Lane two, 4.61 seconds"
"Dammit!"
Izuku looked back at the greenette with a smirk. "Talk shit, get hit." He was glared at by both his opponent and a vine haired girl in the background.
"Oh, shut the fuck up." Kamakiri said, gaining himself a disapproving glare from the vine hair girl as well.
They all heard a clap from an unscathed Mr. Sukehiro. "That there is what I'm talking about! Quirks these days certainly pack a punch." He said with a smirk, the cigarette in his mouth gone for the moment. "This is the kind of stuff I want to see from you knuckleheads!"
"Um...Sukehiro-Sensei? You know we don't have the same quirks...right?" The kid with the head band said.
There was an audible "Eh?" from Sukehiro before he walked over and grabbed the kid by the top of the head and lifted him up.
"If you aren't going to use this I might as well crush it!"
"AaAaWhaaAaaHaHa!" The teacher then dropped the student like a sack of potatoes and sighed. "Alright, the next two are-."
After all the tests were completed, everyone gathered up again. "Alright, here are your results. After this, you have 20 minutes to meet me back in class." He said, clicking the button on the tablet and a projection displayed, showing the quirk assessment test results. "Be late and you die." He then walked off.
'...Wait, what?!' They all thought, before turning their attention to the projection.

"Heh...Well...I kinda expected that." The girl with hair over her eyes said, looking down. "Oh well."
Setsuna punched Izuku in the shoulder. "You made it in first place. I'm surprised, yet not surprised."
"Y-Yea, but you know, Katsuki is never far behind me. I gotta work harder."
"Hmmm." Hummed the blonde boy who Mr. Sukehiro had called 'Monoma' earlier. "Say, I don't see a 'Katsuki' on this list. So, who may you be speaking of?"
"He is my brother and her boyfriend from class 1-A. Katsuki Bakugou." Izuku said and the blonde gasped.
"From 1-A?!"
"Uh...yeah?"
"I cannot stand for this! We are supposed to be enemies with those 1-A suck up-!"
"Annnd lights out for you bud." Kendo said as she chopped Monoma at the base of his neck, knocking him out and catching him by the jacket in one fell swoop. "Sorry about that."
"No problemo." Setsuna said.
"Now, we should all get to class before Mr. Sukehiro decides to actually kill us all." Kendo said, shivering a bit. She gained a nod from a guy with a very familiar face.
"Yeah...because I don't doubt he actually will." He said. Izuku and Setsuna looked at him with deadpan faces. "...What?"
"Sorry, but you just look like Eren Yeager. You know, in Attack Titan form." Izuku said and Setsuna along with Kendo began to smirk.
"Dammit! Everyone makes that joke!"
"Eren Yeeeager!"
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
At lunch time, Izuku and Setsuna got their food from Lunch Rush and immediately looked around for Katsuki. They saw him just sit at a table, and grinning, they promptly invited themselves over. Setsuna sat beside her boyfriend and Izuku sat across from them. "Hey, Kacchan~ . You miss us?" She teased and Katsuki grumbled.
"Guess he actually did…" Izuku said, making a face of awe.
"Shut your mouth, asshole!" Katsuki snarled. "Okay, maybe a little. Most of my class is garbage."
Izuku grinned. Eventually, he heard two people plop down on either side of him and he saw a girl with pink and blue hair sit next to Setsuna. Izuku looked around and saw Itsuka on his left and the black haired girl he'd noticed this morning on his right. Thanks to Mr. Sukehiro calling out their names for the tests, he now knew her as Yui Kodai. The greenette nervously grinned.
"That's a gnarly grin you got there bro." The mix-match haired girl said with a raised brow. Kendo and Yui looked at him.
'...Crap.'
"Yeah, I notice you do it a lot, Bakugo. What's that all about?" Kendo asked, tilting her head at him. He sweatdropped at everyone's interest.
"It's non-voluntary. My face stretches out when I'm nervous, which makes me smile like that."
"Um, excuse me. But who are you?" Setsuna said, seemingly not happy that the mix-match haired girl had decided to sit on their side of the table.
She looked at the greenette beside her. "Oh, I'm Kaina Tsutsumi, just call me Tsutsu for short. I'm from 1-A, Bakugo's class. I assume you are his friend from 1-B?"
"...Yeaaaahh, no. I'm his girlfriend." She then pointed to Izuku. "That's his brother."
"Oh, twins?" She asked.
"No, I'm adopted. Not a subject I really want to get onto, though." Izuku said with his nervous grin while scratching the back of his head. He didn't want anyone to know what had happened back then, not yet at least. He then had something pop in his head. "Hey, Kendo. You laughed at my Eren Yeager joke. Are you familiar with the series?"
"Who isn't?" She laughed slightly.
Kaina scratched the back of her neck. "I mean...I haven't had the time to get into it…" She said as she began to eat. "Mmm, Lunch Rush makes really good food."
Setsuna was trying to feed Katsuki with a split up hand.
"Dammit, Setsuna, I can feed myself!" The greenette just stuck a tongue out at him as she ate from her own spoon.
"The dynamic between you two is adorable." Kaina said, looking smug for some reason.
"Shut up, extra!"
"...Your brother is a little loud." Yui said under her breath toward Izuku. That was the first sentence he'd ever heard her say, and holy shit she sounded adorable. Izuku blushed at how cute her voice was, then nervously chuckled a bit.
"W-Well, he has always been a loud mouthed clown." He shrugged.
"I'll kill you for that, Nerd!"
"See?"
"Yeah, you do need to loosen up a bit." Kendo said before turning to Izuku. "Anyways, do you do any martial arts?"
Izuku scratched his head. "I don't know, I taught myself how to fight." Izuku said as he began to stuff his face with the rice given to him by Lunch Rush as Katsuki did the same.
They both just kept stuffing more food in.
"Chew." Setsuna said and they finally slowed down and began chewing, continuing until one of their plates was empty. Katsuki won this time.
"Ha!"
"Damn."
Kaina looked at the two. "So... You two always compete like this?"
Setsuna nodded. "They compete over the silliest things, like children."
"Hey!" They both shouted at her.
"I mean, if I had a sibling. I think I would do the same." Kaina said as she continued to eat.
"So, what other series are you into?" Izuku said, looking at Kendo. Who then smirked at Izuku.
"Jotaro!" She held a hand out as if she was asking for a signature handshake.
Izuku smirked.
"Dio!" He accepted her handshake and they gripped hands. "Hey, you're actually pretty strong."
"Yea, I do martial arts."
"That's cool." Izuku said before looking at Yui. "Hey, Kodai. What series are you into?"
"Mm." She hummed as if she was thinking. "Journey of the Blue Flower." She said under her breath.
"I haven't heard that one…"
"It's pretty good." She semi whispered. No one knew this at the time, but that was the most the girl had spoken in a whole month. Kodai wasn't one to talk a lot, but here she found herself actually making a little conversation with Izuku Bakugo.
'I wonder why…' The black haired girl mused, her face shifting into a gentle smile.
"Izuku? Why're you blushing?"
"I'm not, Setsuna! Katsuki, stop fucking laughing!"
"Alright, you brats. You're dismissed. Bakugo, stay here for a moment." Mr. Sukehiro said, dismissing most of the class. It was the end of the day and Izuku was a little confused as to why he was being dismissed later than others. Setsuna stood at the foot of the door. "Did you not hear me?"
"Whatever you can say to him you can say to me."
"The fuck's going on over here- Oh… Did the nerd get in trouble?" Katsuki said, walking over. He looked at Sukehiro. "Why do you look so damn familiar…"
"Hm." He hummed as he took the almost burnt out cigarette from his mouth. "So you're both here." He dropped the cigarette and stomped it out. "Well, I see you're one huge step closer to what you said all those years ago, after your mom died." Mr. Sukehiro said and the two brothers went wide-eyed.
"So it was you, Sukehiro-Sensei!" Izuku shouted out, jumping out of his seat. Setsuna split into twenty-five pieces and crumbled into a pile in shock, having also known Izuku's story for a few months now.
"Yeah, glad to see you stayed true to that promise. Put good use to the training you have, surpass your limits. I expect great things from you, shorty. Dismissed."
Izuku got up and grabbed his things as Katsuki was helping Setsuna piece herself back together. He stopped before walking out. "One more thing, Mr. Sukehiro…" Izuku looked back at his buff teacher.
"Thanks, for everything."
