"Katsuki!" Izuku yelled, slamming the door to his brother's room wide open. "Wake the hell up already, you're gonna make us late!"

There was no response from the ash-blonde, and Izuku sighed and rolled his eyes. Picking up a stress ball from the floor, he whipped his arm and pinged it at Katsuki's face.

"Gah! Wh-What the fuck's going-"

"You. Late." Izuku said, pointing at Katsuki and then the All Might clock.

Katsuki blinked for a few seconds, staring uncomprehendingly at the clock to the side of his bed. Then his brain finally translated all the inputs it was getting. "Oh, fuck!"

"Exactly." Izuku said, turning to go back downstairs. "Hurry up."

Katsuki rubbed the sleep out of his eyes as he simultaneously ran to brush his teeth and throw his uniform on. He knew exactly what had happened. Too excited about the surprise Mr. Aizawa said was in store for them in Heroics the next day, he hadn't been able to sleep for a while, and he was now seeing the consequences.

In about five minutes, he had cleaned up his face and gotten dressed, and he leapt down the stairs, dragging a comb up the spikes in his hair.

Izuku was washing the dishes from his breakfast. "Hello, Sleeping Beauty." He grinned.

Katsuki slapped him over the head.

Then Mitsuki slapped him over the head. "You know he's completely right." Their mother grinned as Katsuki rubbed his head and sat down to hurriedly eat some breakfast.

The family banter continued until Katsuki finished, Masaru even joining in a little on his way out.

Then Katsuki ran to fill up his biggest water bottle, knowing he'd need it for Heroics. He turned to go over and put it in his bag, before realising the bag was right next to him. 'Oh, Izuku musta put it there for me.'

He quickly dropped it in, then sprinted away to get his shoes. Meanwhile Izuku came back into the room, and picked up his bag, before putting Katsuki's down on the ground. 'He'll want to put his water bottle in it when he fills it.'

A few minutes later, Mitsuki watched proudly as her two boys set off for U.A, walking proud and tall. But seeing them from behind made her realise how similar their school bags were. Both were all black, the only difference being that Izuku's had a white silhouette of All Might on each side and Katsuki's had a silver design of All Might's symbol on the lower front pocket.

Mitsuki frowned. "Maybe we should get that changed, it might cause some confusion down the line." She mused.

Meanwhile, Izuku shifted his shoulders. 'Is it just me, or is my bag a bit heavier today? Nah, I'm probably just still a bit tired…'

"Alright, you brats. Today we'll be doing basic quirk training to prep for tomorrow." said as he put a cigarette between his lips, before blowing some smoke out of the corner of his mouth while he noticed Setsuna raising a hand.

"What is happening tomorrow?" She said and Yami hummed.

"Oh right, we never really went over that." He recalled. "Tomorrow we're goin' on an on-campus field trip to a structure designed for you guys to train to use your quirks on different terrain. We'll be working on rescue stuff too. Two other Pros, both of them teachers at this school, are coming too, so don't don't disgrace the class." Yami explained. "Class 1-A is currently on their way to said structure-."

"Damn 1-A brats-"

"Ironic. Stop being a dumbass. You're a brat too, bratty brat." Yami said almost pettily, and Izuku couldn't help but chuckle. About half of the class were trying successfully not to laugh while the others, like Izuku, weren't able to hold in their amusement.

"Imagine being a brat. Could never be me." The greenette muttered, just loud enough for Monoma to hear.

"Imagine being a Fire Rat." Monoma snapped back.

"Imagine not being creative enough to come up with your own nickname for someone."

And with that, Mr. Sukehiro burnt Monoma to a crisp and got the entire class laughing.

"Yikes." Izuku said with his nervous tick grin. "I think you burned him alive, Sensei."

"Yeah yeah, now shut up." Everyone immediately stopped laughing and quietly sat straight faced. They were beginning to get used to Yami's almost bipolar personality, some more than others. "Now, get to the locker rooms, change, and meet me out in the field. You'll get buddies to train with your quirks. As usual, be out there in ten minutes or you're dead." left the room as everyone rose from their seats.

"Yo, Jotaro." Itsuka called out to Izuku, who looked at her resignedly after hearing her nickname for him. "Are you planning on sparring with me?"

The verdette shrugged. "Eh, sure." He responded, rising from his seat and grabbing his bag. "Just try not to get roasted this time."

Itsuka punched his shoulder, a straight jab that just made him chuckle. "Asshole."

"Don't hate the player, hate the game." Izuku said with his grin.

"...Shit, you have a point." Itsuka said as their usual group of 1-B friends walked out of the room together.

"Say, do any of you play video games?" Juzo asked and Izuku turned to the Titan look-alike.

"Smash Bros?" The verdette questioned in a challenging tone.

"You make it sound like you want to start a war." Itsuka added. "Smash Bros is a game of prediction. You cannot defeat me."

"Now you sound like you want to start a war." Juzo replied, with a deadpan.

"And maybe I do." The orange haired girl replied cockily as they approached the locker rooms.

"Alright then. Let's set a time for later on so I can kick both your asses in Smash." Izuku said with his devilish smile. "You want to come too, Kodai?" He then asked, a little hopefully.

Yui replied with a simple nod as she, Itsuka and Setsuna walked to the girls' changing room. And as he entered the boys' room, for some reason, Izuku felt like fist pumping.

He walked in and opened his bag in order to grab his gym uniform, he was thrilled to spar with Kendo being that the match up was a bit unfair as it was an enclosed space and those are his specialties.

He grabbed his gym uniform and put it on. He began to grimace as he realized that after school, Katsuki would do nothing but brag about the structure and spoil the surprise of what it looked like before he even got to go. 'That's gonna be annoying…' He thought, putting on his Hero costume from the suitcase. As soon as he finished with that, he reached for his schoolbag in order to put the things that were in his pocket in there, but froze at what he saw.

'...I don't own two hydroflasks. Well, not counting the ones I have on as part of my Hero costume, but…' Izuku then realised the bottle was Katsuki's, the biggest one the ash-blonde only used when he knew he'd be using his Quirk a lot that day.

Izuku internally cursed the fact that his brother was stupid enough not to check whose bag he was putting shit in, but then again. Their bags were way too similar. "Dammit."

"What's up, Bakugo?" Juzo said and the greenette turned to him.

"Nothing, just my idiot of a brother putting the hydro flask that he needed for today's trip in my bag."

"Ouch, you think Mr. Sukehiro will let you bring it to him?" Honenuki replied, the verdette merely shrugging in response.

"Maybe? I don't know, we'll just have to see." Izuku said as he scratched the back of his head, knowing that Sukehiro was either going to grab him by the head before considering letting him go, or crush Katsuki's head when classes were over. 'Man, this is a pain.'

He left the changing room and made his way to the field where the others were waiting, Katsuki's hydro flask in hand.

When he got there, he saw Kendo waiting for him. "Yo, Bakugo."

"Yo." Izuku replied. "Gimme a second, I gotta ask Sensei something. I got to deliver this hydro flask to my idiot brother, he put it in my bag this morning and he's got the thing today."

Kendo deadpanned at him. She had been hoping to get into sparing right away, too bad.

"Alright, just hurry up so I can make you eat dirt." She smirked and Izuku stared in disbelief.

"You will eat those words."

"Yeah, yeah. Hurry up."

Izuku walked over to Yami, who was watching Kamakiri get welded to the ground by Awase, who then teabagged him like this was some sort of video game. 'And I am going to kill him.'

"Hey, Sensei?"

"What?" Sukehiro said in a gruff and angered tone. Izuku raised a brow before looking in Awase's direction.

'Oh…' Izuku thought before looking back at his teacher. "Do I have your approval to bring this water bottle to my brother who, like an idiot, put his in my bag? I can get there and be back in a flash thanks to my quirk." He said with his shark toothed grin. Yami smoked his cigarette and then sighed.

"Hurry up." He looked at Kendo. "Yo! Ponytail brat! Buddy up with two other people for the meantime." He shouted as he looked back to the verdette. He pointed in a direction with his thumb. "Go that way, big dome structure, can't miss it."

"Yes, Sensei!" Izuku grinned, his quirk flaring at his heels as he took up a classic sprinter's starting position.

"Oi, brat." Yami's voice sounded once more, causing Izuku to turn around and shiver at the challenging grin being sent his way. "Make it there and back in fifteen minutes. Go."

The verdette sweatdropped nervously. "R-Right!" And with that, he took off with his quirk, leaving a black scorching mark on the ground of the field that took the shape of a footprint, the devil's footprint.

Izuku soared high, using his quirk to keep him in the air. However, he realised, despite the trouble, it was a good excuse to spoil himself and see the structure before Katsuki could spoil it for him and brag about being there. After about seven minutes of flying, he chuckled as he saw a large glass dome and flew directly towards it.

The Hero student lowered himself down to the ground in front of the entrance. He stretched when he touched down and began walking toward the large front entrance doors of the building. He opened the door and it swung closed behind him on his own, surprisingly easily despite their size. He saw Katsuki's class along with his teacher, Eraserhead, and another hero, who- WAS THAT THIRTEEN? .

He did notice that everyone was looking down the stairs. He shrugged and simply walked towards the class. He heard Shota yell something at his students, but didn't completely register it. He got a better look around the area. Different zones, one filled with water with a boat in the middle. Another is a dome that had fiery coloration, a mountain area. 'Rescue training…' He guessed with a grin.

He then saw Aizawa jump down the stairs while everyone else stood back. "Yo."

Everyone turned to him.

Then stared for a couple more seconds

"Nerd? The fuck are you-"

"You left this." Izuku said, placing the hydro flask down on the ground. Pretending to pat it on the head like it was some sort of pet. "Now off I go, Sukehiro-sensei might kill me if I don-"

"Everyone, try and exit the facility!" Thirteen shouted, much to Izuku's confusion.

"...Huh?"

Everyone started running toward the exit and Izuku, who clearly didn't know what happened, followed suit. Like, he had to go anyway, so he might as well…

"Greetings, Hero students of Class 1-A. My name is Kurogiri, and we are the League of Villains, here to kill your auspicious teacher, All Might. Please forgive the intrusion."

Izuku stared at the misty black figure that had appeared floating in front of them, speaking politely yet carrying a death threat. "Okay, what the fuck? Look man, I'm not in Class 1-A, so if you could just let me go first-" Izuku said, hoping to lull the Villain off guard so he could shoot out to go and alert Mr. Sukehiro. But alas, no such luck.

Katsuki and a red haired guy from 1-A leapt forwards and delivered powerful attacks to the Villain from both sides. "Betcha didn't think we could defeat you before you got the chance to do anything!" The redhead grinned, displaying his quirk by hardening his arm.

Izuku's eyes widened. "Shit! Katsuki, look out!" He yelled, shooting towards his brother.

"That was quite perilous." Kurogiri said ponderously, rising from the dust cloud unscathed. "As is to be expected, though you are students, you are still the young prodigies of the Hero world. Therefore…"

Black smoke started to gather around them all, Izuku reaching out for his brother's shoulder as they were enclosed in darkness. The last words they heard echoed ominously.

"You will be scattered, tortured, and slain."

"Shit!" Izuku yelled as they landed in what seemed to be an abandoned building. "Katsuki, what were you thinking!"

"Shut it, Hothead!" Katsuki yelled back. "I didn't see you doing anything except talking shit!"

"I was trying to distract him so I could shoot through and go get Mr. Sukehiro! Until you acted rashly!"

"I… Fuck! That's a good fuckin' point actually." Katsuki grumbled.

"So, uh…" Both brothers turned to face the other guy in the room. "Who's this, Baku-Bro?"

Katsuki's face twitched, and Izuku immediately burst out laughing. "PFFFT- BAKU-BRO! Oh, that's priceless, I gotta tell Setsuna about this one. Might start using it myself!" And with that, he dissolved into more fits of laughter.

The redhead looked at Katsuki, who glared at him for a few seconds before relenting. "Izuku Bakugo. My brother." He grunted.

The Hardening user stared for a second. "Your brother just tripped over a rock from laughing too hard at you." He deadpanned.

"He's adopted."

Izuku finally managed to draw in enough breath to speak without laughing. "Oh damn, that was funny. I'm not even mad anymore. What's your name, man?"

"Eijiro Kirishima!" The redhead grinned, offering Izuku a hand to shake. "You seem like a pretty manly guy, let's be sure to get along!"

"Yeah!" Izuku grinned in response, clasping the boy's arm and sharing a macho handshake while Katsuki rolled his eyes. "See Katsuki, you have got cool people in your class."

"Um, excuse me?"

They all turned to a Villain with a prisoner jumpsuit on, carrying an old fashioned convict ball and chain. "If you don't mind," He continued, "Can we all get to killing you now?"

He received a flame powered foot to the face for his efforts. "Shut it." Izuku glared at the man who now lay spreadeagled on the floor, slowly passing out. "I'm trying to make Katsuki and Kirishima have a bro moment."

"Sorry…" The man grunted, before falling asleep.

But alas, Izuku's opportunity was gone as many more Villains crashed through the windows and oiled through the doorways on either side, all looking for a taste of Hero student blood.

Katsuki grinned. "Bring it, extras!"

And as the Villains came forth, the three boys met them head on with defiant yells. Izuku and Katsuki sounded like they were enjoying it. The villains soon all fell to the three boys, some with explosion marks, others with huge bruises, and the rest with the devil's footprint stamped onto them in places.

Izuku and Kirishima stood over one of the passed out villains while Katsuki was beating up another one mercilessly, a villain with a camouflage quirk.

"Hm." The verdette hummed.

"That would make one sick, manly tattoo." Kirishima said with his shark toothed smile as they both regarded the footprint scarred on the man's bare chest. "You're thinking that too, right?"

"Hm? Oh. Nope." Izuku replied to the redhead. "I'm just wondering if that should be my signature mark, like to tell Villains that I'm coming to beat their asses if they do anything stupid." Izuku crossed his arms and nodded while his eyes were closed. "I mean, I am going to be the next number one…"

"The fuck you ain't!" Katsuki shouted, overhearing their conversation.

"The fuck I am!"

"Sibling Rivalry, epic. Super manly." Kirishima said as Izuku shouted back at Katsuki.

Suddenly, the two last Villains leapt in through the windows. Izuku leapt for one, side footing him in the face, but as he turned around, he saw the other one shooting straight at Katsuki, a knife in each hand. Katsuki turned around from finishing the camouflage Villain and went to launch himself away, but it was clear he wouldn't make it unscathed.

But Kirishima threw himself in front of the knives as they slashed, his skin hardening. His quirk was not powerful enough yet to break the knives, but as it was, they skated off his skin, only causing two faint red lines. And that moment of reprieve was all it took for Katsuki to jump forwards and cancel the Villain's consciousness.

"See!" Eijiro grinned, turning to Katsuki and ignoring the marks on his torso. "Baku-Bro the Second isn't the only one who can watch your back!"

Izuku raised an eyebrow as he checked that all the Villains were properly knocked out. 'Baku-Bro the Second?'

Katsuki scoffed, but a small grin appeared on his face. "Whatever you say, Shitty Hair."

"Hey, my hair's not even that different from yours! Plus, that was surprisingly tame for you. Normally, you're all like, 'DIE! DIE! DIE!' and all that, you know?" Kirishima returned, his spiky teeth making an appearance in his grin.

Izuku snickered as he straightened up from the last Villain. "That's surprisingly accurate." He chuckled.

"DIE, THE BOTH OF YOU!"

Izuku and Kirishima both burst out laughing despite the dangerous situation. "There it is!"

But their laughter was interrupted by an inhuman shriek coming from the central plaza. The three boys looked at each other, they dashed out of the building and towards the origin of the sound. Less than a minute later, they arrived at the plaza only to see something that truly horrified them.

"Mr. Aizawa…" Kirishima groaned, twisting his fingers and hardening them nervously.

On the ground was the homeroom teacher of Class 1-A. Villains lay littered around him like broken dolls, a testament to the power and skill he had displayed, but none of the three could focus on that. A massive black creature, with a sharp toothed beak and exposed brain, had hold of their teacher and was bashing his face into the ground repeatedly while another Villain with pale blue hair and covered in disembodied hands watched with a cruel laugh.

"We're gonna stop this." Izuku glared with a nervous grin.

Katsuki nodded, spitting to the side as he clenched his hands together to try and produce more sweat. "Everyone go for the huge black fucker."

Kirishima hardened his arms and connected his fists. "Yeah, let's do this, bros."

And with that, Izuku used his quirk to fly up in the air while the other two leapt from the bushes they'd been hiding in and began the charge.

Meanwhile, Yami Sukehiro watched as Ibara Shiozaki and Monoma lashed at each other repeatedly, both of them sporting vines for hair that weaved and tangled as they fought. 'Eh, it's easy to see she'll win.'

And true enough, Ibara, with her many years worth of experience with the quirk, easily feinted above Monoma, and as he went to guard, the majority of her vines swooped underneath and wrapped him in a cocoon, while the remainder knotted around the ones he'd tried to guard with and rendered them useless, sealing the win.

Yami shook his head in disappointment as the blonde tried to bluster that it was just a fluke. Turning elsewhere, he realised that Tokage was sitting on the ground, casually watching.

'Hm? Who did that brat partner with again?' His question was answered as he saw his Class Rep battling it out with the silent one that sat next to Bakugo, Kodai. The raven haired girl was currently pelting Kendo with boulders, enlarging pebbles as they left her hand as all the ginger haired girl could do was guard for her life.

Sukehiro frowned, looking at his watch. 'Hm, thirteen minutes. I gave him a fifteen minute limit, but I honestly expected him to do it in ten. Is he over there chatting? I'll kill him if he is.'

Five minutes later, watching Kendo finally fall to the hailstone of boulders, Yami shook his head. 'Something's up.'

"Kendo!"

The downed Class Rep turned to him from the floor, groaning as she massaged her bruised hands. "Yes, Sensei?"

"I'm leaving you in charge, I gotta go do something. Make sure nothing goes too overboard, or I'm killing you all." Yami said sternly, spitting his cigarette out and stamping it underfoot threateningly.

Kendo stood ramrod straight immediately, saluting. "Yes, Sensei! I won't let you down!"

"Make sure you don't." Yami nodded, before turning and jogging off in the direction of the USJ facility.

.

.

.

"ORA!" Kirishima yelled, punching the nomu's wrist where it held Aizawa's head, his sharpened knuckles creating a slight dent.

Immediately after, Katsuki pressed both hands to the same spot and loosed an explosion, concentrated enough to miss his teacher's head. At this point, the creature's wrist was seriously burned, about a quarter of it vaporised.

"YAH!" Izuku shouted, landing on the remaining wrist and shooting his flames down, angling his ankles away from Eraser Head. With that, another quarter of the wrist was disintegrated, and it lost control of its fingers, dropping the Underground Hero with a wet noise that made the boys shiver even in their triumph.

The hand-covered Villain glared at them. "Who're these NPCs? You're in the way. Get lost."

Izuku glared. "You're the people who don't belong here."

The Villain frowned. "Yeah we do. The objective was 'Kill All Might'. To do that, we had to come here. Therefore, we belong here."

Kirishima frowned. "Um, I'm not the smartest, but even I don't think that makes se-"

"I'm tired of this." The blue haired Villain interrupted. "Nom-"

Just then, the flowing black mass from the Villain at the start of the attack warped into existence beside him. "Tomura Shigaraki."

"Ah, Kurogiri." The Villain, now known to the three as Shigaraki, said with a confident smirk. "I assume Thirteen's back to the home screen, then?"

Kurogiri lowered his head. "I incapacitated her, however, I'm afraid that of the students I did not manage to scatter, one got away."

Tomura groaned for a few seconds, scratching vigorously. "Haah… Kurogiri, I swear… If I didn't need you to get the hell out of here I'd dust you right now."

"Great, someone got out. I hope it was Iida, he's the fastest." Kirishima muttered quietly, and Izuku nodded. From what he'd gathered there and from Katsuki's rants at home, Iida was probably the 'Stick in the Ass' that had made a fool of himself back at the press incident.

"Shall we go back to the checkpoint?" Tomura asked slowly. Kurogiri's eyes flashed as he clearly went to answer, but then Shigaraki interrupted him and kept talking.

"Actually, no." He said, glaring at the defiant Hero student trio in front of him. "Let's use this opportunity… to take the Symbol of Peace down a notch!" Finishing with that, he leapt at Izuku, hands outstretched. Caught off guard, Izuku could only stumble backwards, staring wide-eyed as he wondered what the Villain's quirk was.

'Something to do with dust?' He wondered as he recalled Shigaraki's earlier words. 'Well, looks like I'm about to find out…'

Just then, Bakugo fired off an explosion that sent the Villain off course, allowing Izuku to stumble to safety and regain his footing. Meanwhile, Shigaraki fell face first towards Eijiro, who hardened his forearm and wound back to deliver the strongest punch to the face he could ever muster.

"Nomu."

THUD.

Kirishima looked at the black torso his fist had connected with, eyes widening in surprise as they traced upwards towards the salivating beak of the Nomu. "Wait-"

"Nomu," Shigaraki spat, getting to his feet. "Get rid of that one."

Despite Kirishima activating his quirk in time, multiple ribs were heard snapping as the Nomu sent a solid punch to Kirishima's abdomen. The redhead was sent flying, landing on the staircase with a nasty cracking noise as two of the people at the top, Katsuki recognised them as Six Arms and Round Cheeks, rushed down to help him.

Izuku grew his usual grin. Shigiraki looked at him with a disgusted groan. "What are you smiling for? Stop that, it's revolting."

"Shut up, you man child. It's a nervous tick." Izuku snarled, mostly as an insult although the name wasn't completely off. The Villain was treating this whole thing like some sort of game.

Actually, as a matter of fact, he had Tomura all figured out. He'd come in here balls deep against teens who trained their quirks to get into U.A, and on top of that, hadn't even bothered to come up with any real plan. The whole thing just seemed patched together by a strange mind.

"So, you're nervous. Good, you should be." Tomura grinned.

Izuku thought for a moment. 'It's been over fifteen minutes, surely, hasn't it? Sukehiro-sensei must've already realised something's not right…' He looked at his brother, then at the monster. 'Guess the only option right now is to wait for more heroes to get here.' His thoughts continued to ramble. He shook his head. 'Just hold out, right.'

Flames started to spur under Izuku's feet as sparks flew from Katsuki's hands. "Hey, Hothead. You ready to kick ass?"

Izuku grinned, his face pitch black, his eyes glowing red and his white devil-like teeth shining in an eerie contrast.

"What do you think?"

With that, he blasted toward Shigaraki with his quirk. "Hell yeah I am!" The Nomu appeared in front of him and Izuku angled one of his feet downward, springing himself over the Nomu and hit the thing in the back between both of it's triceps. "Back Blazer!" He shouted as flames exploded from the soles on his feet.

The creature shrieked in pain as Izuku propelled himself all the way back to Katsuki. "These children have ultimate moves already?" Kurogiri questioned, confused. These were the first year Hero students who'd barely spent a week at the school, right?

"Well, to be honest." Katsuki said. "We made our own when we were kids. They seem to be kicking your asses though! Let's do this, Devil!" Katsuki's hand shot to the wrist of his other arm, about to pull the pin on his support equipment. As soon as he did, both boys grinned as a big ass explosion erupted from it, so powerful the ash-blonde was almost pushed back even after bracing himself. "DIE, YOU ANGRY BIRD RIP OFF!"

Even before the explosion had fully dissipated, Izuku was already shooting at the charred beast. Putting the sole of his left foot on the nomu's chest, then releasing a blazing kick upwards. "Tephrosis!"

The smoke cleared quickly, showing all watching that the creature now had a big hole in its chest. Izuku backflipped back to Katsuki as it screeched in pain, the boys exchanging fist bumps and waiting to see if the Villain would go down.

Izuku sighed. To be honest, Tephrosis, -the name based on the disease Izuku could end up getting- was a move he would prefer to use against heavily armored enemies. Neither he nor Katsuki would have ever expected to have to use it on an actual unarmored living thing.

It groaned as it regenerated its whole body.

Scratch that, its regeneration quirk was basically armor in and of itself.

And speaking of quirks.

"What the fuck is with this thing?" Katsuki snarled at Tomura, pointing at the black beast that now stood motionless. How can it be so strong and fast if it has a damned regeneration quirk?"

"It's not impossible." Izuku muttered. "It could just be bio-engineered to have those attributes; there's no way that's human, or any normal species of animal."

"Nope!" Tomura said cheerfully. "Well, kinda. We maxed out the stats on its body for maximum strength and speed, but it's also got quirks to boost that, along with the auto-heal cheat. And then it's got Shock Absorption too, but you guys are kinda bypassing that since you attack with flames and explosions. At least it cancels out the blunt damage from the explosions."

After that bit of exposition -Izuku had no idea why Tomura had felt the need to tell them that, but oh well, he wasn't complaining- the two brothers raised eyebrows at each other. That meant Katsuki would have to place his hands directly on the beast for his attacks to be most effective.

"Nomu." Tomura suddenly said with an evil grin. "Punch that one."

The black creature was suddenly in front of Izuku, it's arm winding back to do the same thing it had done to Kirishima. But Izuku was expecting it this time, and front flipped over the arm, hovering for a second.

Katsuki dived and got both hands on the beast's arm, before letting loose one of his most powerful explosions on it. "DIE!" He roared, vaporising the creature's forearm. "NOW, HOTHEAD!"

"Yeah!" Izuku grunted, landing feet first on the stump as Katsuki launched away. With a roar, he unleashed the most powerful flames he could at the Nomu's arm, cauterizing and charring the wound to beyond the point of recognition.

They both skidded away and watched as Tomura grinned. "What part of regeneration don't you get?" He snickered. "That did noth- Nomu, regenerate already!"

The Nomu was staring at its stump, squawking uncertainly as it uselessly waved it around.

Izuku grinned. "Cauterized wounds won't regrow."

Tomura snarled. "Fuck you, brat! Nomu, go-! Oh, what now?!"

The Nomu was swamped from head to toe in ice. Shoto Todoroki jogged up to Katsuki and Izuku. "I interrogated some of the thugs I faced." He said neutrally. "They said they're here to kill All Might."

Katsuki looked at him strangely. "The black mist fucker already told us that, back at the start. What are you, deaf?"

Shoto glared at him. "Well-"

At that moment, the Nomu smashed out of its ice prison and went to punch Todoroki to kingdom come. The peppermint haired boy blocked the punch with a column of ice, but the fist smashed through he was still sent skidding backwards, falling to his butt as he looked around dazedly. Thankfully, the fist had been slowed down quite a bit by the ice..

The Nomu went to press it's advantage and attack Todoroki again, as well as three others, a blonde boy, a raven haired girl Izuku recognised as 'High Class', and the purple haired girl that had sat with them on the first day.

Katsuki leapt towards them, shooting off explosions around the Nomu to distract it while Izuku hovered around its head, kicking it powerfully. The other students took the chance to escape, looking at the two in barely disguised awe. Apart from Shoto, who still looked like he'd been hit by a truck as he was pulled along.

But their luck didn't last. Izuku was hit by a haymaker from the Nomu, cracking an arm and several ribs and sending him skidding into the dirt. The black beast then caught Katsuki's arm before snapping it like a twig and throwing him in the same direction, the ash-blonde smashing into his brother just as he staggered to his feet and sending them both to the floor again.

"It's getting fucking faster…" Katsuki muttered.

"It was just playing with us." Izuku replied.

Tomura giggled. "Oh, how good it feels to see you brats get done in. Nomu, finish them!"

But Izuku and Katsuki stood defiantly despite the pain they were in, blood weeping from cuts on their scalps and flowing down their faces. "WE'RE NOT DONE YET!"

Katsuki raised his non-broken left arm and fired off an explosion in the beast's face, while Izuku painfully raised his leg and delivered a flame powered kick to it's exposed brain. The Nomu staggered backwards, but quickly got over it and hit them again.

'We might actually be about to die here…' Izuku thought, panicking as he felt more broken bones. And judging by Katsuki's groans, his brother was in the same situation. The Nomu loomed over them, and raised one massive leg to stomp them into paste.

But just then, the massive doors of the USJ slammed open.

"WHAT THE FUCK?! FIRE RAT, I SAID FIFTEEN MINUTES!"

Izuku grinned weakly. "You guys are so screwed now…"

Tomura's eyes widened. "Shit, that's Dark Horse. Nomu, kill that guy quick!" He shouted, half stepping back to the protection of Kurogiri's open warp gate. There was no way he'd be able to beat that guy on his own, so he needed his beast to attack before the teacher did. He wouldn't have even been able to incapacitate Eraser Head without Nomu.

Nomu appeared at the top of the stairway, right in front of Yami, and threw a punch too fast to see. But somehow, Yami dodged it, and appeared behind the beast. "Death Thrust." He grunted.

His katana shot forwards in a deadly thrust. Despite the Nomu being several metres away, it's entire torso was immediately vaporised, only the head and limbs remaining. It regenerated again, but noticeably slower than it had done earlier.

Yami looked around at the chaos as he jumped down to the centre plaza. "You Villains are just messing up my day, you know. I planned to take a dump later ya know?" Then he saw his colleague. "Shit, Eraser." He muttered, lifting the man into a sitting position a lot more gently than anyone would've thought he could. "You alright?"

"The kids…" Aizawa groaned, his face bloody and beaten. "Are they all… safe?"

"Nineteen of 'em are up at the entrance with Thirteen." Yami reassured him. "Most of 'em are relatively uninjured. Don't know where the Bakugo brothers are, though."

At that, Aizawa raised a weak finger and pointed at where the two lay in a broken heap, watching proceedings with bloody grins as they anticipated what Sukehiro was going to do to the Villains.

Yami saw Izuku, and his eyes glowed angrily. "I'm gonna make you twerps feel a world of pain for that." He muttered, turning to Shigaraki and Kurogiri.

"Shit. Shit, shit, shit! WHERE ARE YOU, NOMU!" Shigaraki yelled in a panic. "This guy's worse than Eraser Head! PROTECT ME!"

Nomu, true to his master's command, leapt down and positioned himself in between Yami and Shigaraki. But that would ultimately make no difference.

Yami cracked his neck, and raised his sword high above his head. "Dark Cloaked Dimension Slash."

And as he brought his blade down, a black wall shot forwards and split everything in two. It was as if the entire world was split down the middle. The Nomu peeled off in two separate halves. Kurogiri warped Shigaraki away just in time, the last words they heard from the manchild being "I'll be back you disgusting Heroes, I'm just gonna level up first!"

However Kurogiri was not so fortunate. Obviously believing he couldn't be cut, he didn't make much effort to get out of the way of the slash. But it sliced right through him, a quarter of his purplish black smoke splitting off and dissipating, along with a scream that sounded almost human.

From where Aizawa lay, his eyes widened fractionally despite how dry they felt. 'That almost sounded like- No, I must be becoming delirious…'

As Kurogiri warped away before Yami could attack again, Izuku chuckled, coughing up blood. "Got 'em good, Sukehiro-sensei." He muttered.

The Underground Hero crouched in front of the two boys. "Honestly, what a pain. " Do I have your approval to go and deliver this water bottle? I can get there and back in a flash." Instead, I show up to see you looking like a whole murder victim." He scolded as he picked up the two boys, gently carrying them up the stairs while another 1-A student who had come back down floated Eraser Head alongside them.

Izuku gave a bloody version of his signature grin. "But… Did I do well though?" He coughed, green eyes meeting grey ones searchingly. And the last words he heard before he passed out were enough to make him smile calmly.

"Yeah, you did, kid. Now just rest up, and I'll take care of the rest."

Yami chuckled as Izuku's head lolled to the side in sleep, hefting him into a more comfortable position as they reached the top of the stairs. "Now I gotta-"

The doors smashed open again.

"NEVER FEAR, FOR I AM… HERE?"

Yami just sighed.

'This fucking dumbass, I swear…'
