When worlds collide
~Chapter 10~
Third person
Walking around the huge leaf village, when it was raining seemed a little better then when it was dry.
There wasn't as many people out due to the rain and the ones who were. We're more focused on keeping themselves dry.
Yukia walks with her head held low her blue eyes hooded, the rain soaking her red hair causing it to lay flat against her head. The girl was completely soaked from head to toe.
Yukia, didn't feel like putting up a shield right now. Her shields where pretty tiring at times and, she honesty didn't mind getting wet. Droplets of water falls down her face almost making it look like, she had been crying.
Yukia, cast her head up, at the faintly familiar scent coming from up infront of her.
They were just a meter or so in front of her. if she keep walking she would eventually walk right into them.
Deciding to keep going, she keeps her head to the ground maybe if she didn't look up they would leave her alone not that she would mind if they bothered her or anything she just wanted to be alone for now.
A familiar dog bark suddenly comes from in front of her causing her eyes to cast up from the ground once more.
Yukia, immediately spots a small white dog racing towards her. As it grows closer. The little creature bends it's knees and jumps up into the girls arms. Only to knock the unexpected girl backwards. She hadn't really been ready to catch him.
Yukia, falls onto the wet ground, with a small thud. Bits of laugher coming from her mouth. As the dog starts to lick her check constantly his tail wagging back and forth a million miles an hour.
"Hi, Akamaru, I missed you to boy" Yukia cries through puffs of laughter
Despite her downcast mood she couldn't be mad at the little guy he was far too cute. Plus Yukia always had a huge soft spot for dogs. She runs a gentle hand throw his soft white fur. Her blue eyes sparkling happily.
Akamaru, jumps down from her lap and attempts to help the girl back to her feet using his muzzle
"Thank you Akamaru" Yukia soothes down to him a bright smile crossing her lips.
Who would have thought getting knocked on the ground by a little white puppy and licked in the face would make someone feel so much better?
"Akamaru where did you go" A male voice calls from in front of them.
Yukia turns her head to see the owner of the voice. Easily spotting an almost very, soaking wet Kiba, running over to her. His brown hair stuck to his head. As rain runs down his face.
A sheepish grin crossing his lips. Kiba stops a few meters in front of her his eyes gazing down to Akamaru. The puppy wagging his tail happily at his best friend
"It's been awhile since we last seen you" Kiba finally points out, as he cast a look back up to the young red haired girl standing before him. "Now I know what Akamaru was saying, he must have picked up your scent. I'm not sure why but I think he likes you"
"Well, I'm glad" Yukia chuckles. With the white puppy tilting his head to look up at her. "I like him to"
Akamaru walks over to his human partner. Scurrying easily up the brunettes back, coming to rest on the top of the boys head. Kiba grins at her words. Who wouldn't like his cute little friend? Akamaru was so cute.
"It's nice to see you Kiba" Yukia speaks up again. "It has been a while"
"Yeah, it has" Kiba agrees, a lopsided grin coming to his lips.
"H... Hi. Yukia" the timed voice of Hinata comes from behind Kiba.
Catching Yukia's quick attention. Casting her eyes over to the side of the tall brunette. Yukia Easily spots Hinata, and the ever so quiet Shino who seemed like he would much rather been somewhere else than with his teammates.
"Hi Hinata, hi Shino" Yukia greets with a slight wave over at the two leaf ninjas. Noticing they where also soaking wet. "It's great to see you to as well"
Shino simple nods his head at her. Remaining quite. His hands go into the front pocket of his white hoodie.
"It's nice to see you to" Hinata replies, with her hands nervously twitching in front of her face. With her silver eyes gazing to the ground.
"Why are you not using your shields?" Kiba questions with a tilt of his head. Being careful not to tilt it to far. He didn't want Akamaru to fall of his head. "Walking around in the rain like you are, you could catch a cold"
"I didn't feel like wasting energy on my shields" Yukia simply answers him a sigh coming from her mouth. As she holds her eyes and uncaringly look coming over her face. "And I don't care if I catch a cold, I might deserve it"
The three leaf ninja seemed to raise their eyes at the Red-headed girl questionably.
"Why?" Shino asked, with his eyes narrowing under his glasses, at her suspiciously.
Yukia only shrugs her shoulders at him a troubled look coming to her face, though she stayed quiet, she didn't really know why her catching a cold would be a good thing. Perhaps she was still upset about almost killing that man a couple days ago?
"Hey, you!!" A loud male voice suddenly shouts from up a top a nearby building. Sounding a bit urgent.
Gaining Yukia, and the three young ninjas quick attention. Three much older leaf ninja swiftly leap over the building
"What the heck!!?" Kiba wonders loudly. Akamaru letting out a low growl from a top of his head. "What's going on?"
"Were under attack" another leaf ninja answered jumping down in front of the young ninjas. And, Yukia.
"What?!" Kiba cries incredulously. "By who?"
The man shrugs His shoulders.
"Where not sure yet" he replies. "Either help or get out of the way kids"
Yukia walks up to the older ninja making him blink his eyes down at her unsurely.
"Your hurt" she points out kindly. A little smile coming to her lips. As she places her hand gently on a small cut on his arm. Blue energy instantly flaring up around her palms.
Kiba, and, Hinata watch the girl curiously. Having not seen her heal someone before. Both of them instantly noticing the man's wound immediately start to heal up under her hand.
Shino, stays back from the group his eyes still watching the girl through, suspicious eyes. Which seems to go unnoticed.
Once Yukia finishes on healing the guy up she steps back. Giving the man another kind smile. The blue energy around her hand having already died away.
"That should do for now" She tells him gently.
"Um, thanks?" The man replies unsurely. Shaking his head. The man turns to run of easily disappearing into a crowd of people.
"That was awesome" Kiba cheers loudly. "I didn't know you could heal"
"Well um yeah" Yukia soothes with a slight pink coming over her checks. She wasn't use to some one getting so excited over her healing. She didn't think it was that big of a deal.
Shaking her head Yukia, shifts to her wolf form.
"I gotta go find my friends" she tells team ten, in a gravely voice. Panick lacing a little in her voice.
"Be...be careful Yukia" Hinata says wearily. Still unsure how to react to Yukia, being in her wolf form.
"You to" Yukia muses, smiling at the shy hyuga. And nodding towards Kiba, and, Shino. Before turning to head towards the hotel.
Lunging forward Yukia crashes hard into the chest of an enemy ninja. Her heavy body easily Knocking him to the ground.
Yukia's powerful jaws wrap around the man's throat. Digging deep into his neck flesh. She easily Crushes his windpipe.
Pulling her head back. While Ripping the flesh from the man's throat. Blood splashes onto her chest soaking her blue fur in the crimson red color.
Drops of blood drips from her teeth a distasteful look coming to her face. Having instantly tasted the mans blood in her mouth she rubs her muzzle with her paws hoping to sone how clean her mouth of the irony blood taste. Though it doesn't seem to help one bit.
Putting her paw, back down, she begins running again trying to get to the hotel before someone else attacks her or, her friends got hurt.
Yukia silently hoped, the Titans where ok, she honestly didn't know how close the hotel was to her now. The village was still quite big and she wasn't use to it yet, just like the Titans city. Yukia was always bad about getting lost.
"Yukia!!" A familiar female voice shouts from somewhere up in the sky.
Causing Yukia to come to an abrupt halt. Her eyes now looking around the sky, trying to find the familiar voice that had called her name.
Due to the rain splashing in her eyes, causing her to blink. It was really hard to see anything up there. Snapping her head forwards her eyes narrowing slightly as three familiar figures approach her. A small bit of relief going down her spine.
"Thank goodness you guys are ok" Yukia mumbles a mushroom like sigh coming from her lips,
Starfire and Raven land on the ground beside her. Each Titan seemed relieved that their teammate was safe.
Yukia snarls dangerously before, bending low to the ground. She then leaps over Robins head a surprised look coming over the boy's face he hadn't expected to have a huge wolf jump over his head if he was, any taller she probably would have knocked him over unintentionally of course. he and the other Titans quickly turn around to see their teammates, fangs sink deep into the flesh of an enemy ninjas arm his blood splashing on her blue fur.
Despite her hating the taste of human blood, in her mouth. This was the only way she had to fight them.
A loud gasp of pain escapes from the man's lips. Yukia, Lets the man go, allowing him to stumble away from her. The man cradles his injured arm with his uninjured one a nasty sneer in his eyes as he looks back at Yukia.
"Never target my friends again" The wolf snarls loudly. Her fangs bared crouching low.
Yukia watches the man, carefully she would kill him if he went to attack her friends again the ninja smirks before performing a quick set of hand signs forcing his injured arm to work though it looked to hurt him pretty badly every time he moved it.
"Ninja art: electric bird jutsu" the man shouts. Focusing chakra into his uninjured arm. Electricity quickly begins to form around his muscler arm. The chakra immediately, pulling of his skin, and forming into small blue electric birds.
Without so much of a warning the, birds rush forwards, heading straight for. Yukia, and, the five Titans. Loud chirps escaping there lips as they rush forwards. Letting out an irritating growl. Yukia slips to her human form throwing her arms out infront of her.
"You are not going to hurt them" she hissed. As blue energy builds up around her hands. Her eyes narrowed as she focused on making up her shield.
A small bubble quickly surrounds around, Yukia, and, the Titans. Just as the electric birds connect ferociously with the blue shield.
Yukia, gritts her teeth. Feeling small currents of electric move through her hands. Despite her shield. She could still fill the hard intensity behind the mans move.
One by one the birds start to Explode. Causing black smoke to rise up and, surround around the girl's shield.
A triumph grin comes over the mans face. His lips pulled up in a confident smirk. As he stares over at the black smoke, that had consumes that blue thing. That girl was way to easy there was no way that blue thing of hers would protect her from his powerful chakra filled attack.
Feeling that he won the man goes to jump onto a nearby building. Only to end up suddenly falling forwards. Face planting the ground with a loud thud. A low hiss escapes from the man's lips. Having land with his injuredhsnd underneath him.
Turning his head to the side. The man spots. His new opponent. A poisonous look, on the Red-headed boy's face, his arms crossed casually over his chest. Watching the man carelessly, as he tries to stand back up. Not realizing he was trapped. The man ends up falling forwards once again.
A bewildered look coming to his face, as he tries to frantically get away from whatever it was around him. To no avail he wasn't getting away. Sand quickly makes its way up the mans body, completely covering him from head to toe.
"Sand burial" Gaara hissed, squeezing his right hand into a tight fist.
A loud screech of pain escapes from the mans lips. As the sand around him tightens squeezing the live out of him literally. Suddenly the mans blood splatters around the area soaking the ground, and, a couple buildings. The sand had easily crushed, the man into a million pieces.
Gaara's eyes turn back to where. Yukia, and, the Titans had been standing. The black smoke still surrounded around them. So Gaara, really couldn't tell if she was ok or not.
A few short seconds pasted and, the smoke finally begins to clear up. Yukia's shield slowly starting to come into view.
With her and the Titans behind it completely unharmed. Yukia, smiles brightly when her blue eyes land on Gaara, her shield vanishing almost instantly. When she moves her hands back to her side.
"That was close" Beastboy says brightly wiping invisible sweet from his brow, as he slings an arm over his teammates neck her crystal eyes gazing over at him from her lashes.
"Thank you Yukia" the green boy soothes, his hand ruffling up her red hair. A grin comes to her lips as she peeks back at him.
"What's going on anyways?" Robin questions, in a serious tone. His masked eyes looking over the village the rain still falling from the dark clouds above it didn't seem like there was a sign of it stopping.
"The leaf is under attack" Gaara tells him in a calming voice his teal eyes looking over as a few more leaf ninjas leap over a couple nearby roof tops.
"We must assist our friends" Starfire declares worryingly.
"Don't worry Star we will" Robin assures her gently.
"I can't fight right now" Cyborg puts in his head low to the ground he hated admitting he wouldn't be able to help "since I don't have a way to charge my sonic Cannon and I have no other weapons to use I would be just in the way"
Yukia gentle rubs her massive head against the robotic teens shoulder comfortingly. Having went back to her wolf form. Gaining the robotic teens attention
"No, you wouldn't, whatever you could do to help I'm sure Lady Tsunade would be appreciated" She tells him with a wink she walks past the robotic teen who seems to smile at her words.
"Your right" He agrees with a nod of his head. A determined look making its way on to his face.
Yukia stops besides, Gaara her blue eyes gazing at him from her lashes, another wolfish grin coming to her lips though if she was in her human form she was sure she would have blushed at his eyes looking back into hers
"Thanks for the help" She muses her tail wagging slightly behind her. A little smile crosses the boys lips even as a huge massive wolf she still managed to make him smile a little.
Jumping forward suddenly Yukia's, claws Slash at another enemy ninjas shoulder, who had came out of nowhere. Her sharp nails cut easily into his chest almost like needles, with blood quickly coming to the service.
The ninja quickly jumps away from the huge wolf gritting his teeth in pain. Reaching back into his weapon pouch. He brandishes out a kunia.
Focusing his chakra into the sharp knife. he quickly throws it towards the huge wolf his chakra giving it a little more speed. being a little late to jump out of the way the kunai slices across Yukia's check a small Yelp coming from her lips. She lands on her feet in a crouched position her blue eyes glaring at the ninja.
Bits of blood dripping from her cheek wound. The man reaches back into his pouch and pulls out more kunai's focusing more chakra into them he pulls his arm back and throws them at the huge wolf again.
However a sudden blue bubble quickly shoots up around her. As the kunai's come close they hit the blue shield and clatter to the ground, the man's eyes widen in shock scratching the back of his head trying to figure out what happened. How did she do that he didn't see her build up chakra. The blue bubble around her vanishes.
A low growl rolls from her throat, as she glares at the man. Watching him as he does a back handspring getting a few more distances away from her. He then begins performing a few hand signs his chakra beginning to build up in the back of his mouth
"Fire style, fire bat jutsu" He shouts. He then opens his mouth a few fire-filled chakra balls shoot out from his mouth, in a matter of seconds the fire balls turn into fiery bats. The bats Shrek before darting towards the blue wolf. Yukia sways quickly to the side desperately trying not to let the fire bats touch her.
