"How the hell did a random terrorist group manage to capture Tanya so easily?" Aldous pondered with clear speculation. Knowing both Tanya and her best friend Colonel Rhodes, this almost seemed like too much of a coincidence for this to happen out of nowhere. 'If Obadiah is behind this, I am gonna make sure he gets what's coming to him…' He thought in rage as he clench his fists. Brenna did catch notice of this as a man dressed in a 'Men In Black' Uniform approached them.
"Excuse Misses and Mister Osborn," The person asked to get their attention as the two turned to him, "I am Agent Coulson with The Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division. I understand that you two have a close relationship with Ms Stark. May I ask you two questions regarding her?" Agent Coulson asked with sincerity. "We believe that someone had leaked her location to a group known as The Ten Rings to obtain her recent invention." He explained as he gestured for the two to follow him.
"Why don't you call the agency SHIELD than that mouth full?" Aldous asked in a pleasant joke. "We would be happy to accompany you since we would rather not deal with General Slocum once again. That guy has practically been bugging us for three months for some of our High Tier products despite how many times we tell him ``No." Brenna added on as she groaned at how annoying General Slocum has been for them.
Aldous called his secretary and best friend to kick the General out of the building due to this sudden turn of events as well as secretly ensure that he would be banned from entering the building again due to his annoying antics. Once the three were in the main office belonging to Brenna, Coulson began to pull out his phone to provide the two with the details that his organization had gathered regarding Tanya's kidnapping as Brenna pressed a button on her desk to ensure that this meeting was private. "So, to start off, Stark Industries has somehow been smuggling weapons to The Ten Rings to have been led to believe are live tests on their weapons." Coulson told the twins, making Brenna a bit outraged by this.
"Are you suggesting Tanya has been giving weapons to black markets and other very questionable 'clients'!?" She yelled as she slammed her fists onto her metal desk, making noticeable dents into it. "There is absolutely no way Tanya would do that." Aldous told Coulson with clear disbelief on this assumption.
"Actually, Tanya is unaware of this detail. This is surprising due to how her AI Program, JARVIS, is with most of the Company's details and even dealings. Which narrows down our possible suspects to those on the board and even Obadiah himself." He explained further which caused Aldous to cheer in unexpected excitement.
"I am totally Gonna win the Bet!" Aldous announced cheerfully which caused both Brenna and Agent Coulson to look at him with clear judgment. "What? I placed a bet on The Deadpool for his death at the bar I hang at. Don't get mad at me for that." He told the two defensively as he crossed his arms.
"Not the time or place, Moron!" Brenna told her idiotic brother as she smacked him upside his head. Aldous rubbed his head to soothe the pain as Brenna groaned in anger before sitting back down. She then took a deep breath to calm down before turning to Phil, "Please continue Agent." She requested.
He cleared his throat a bit to help himself get back on track about what they were discussing. "Right. Another thing is that we heard that Oscorp has weather analysis technology, or something like this. We were hoping that we could borrow that to help with another issue we have been dealing with." Coulson requested as he then showed the information on his phone that was about some recent Weather Anomalies that have been occurring lately. One of them had some strange burn markings that was caused by unknown means.
However, as Brenna examined the markings, she had a strange sense of familiarity with them. "Wait a sec…" She said aloud before walking over to a bookshelf within her office. She searched for one of the various books on mythology that she had. Brenna always found these stories of Myth and Legend quite fantasizing. Due to this, she had grown a great liking to mythology from the first book that Norman had bought her when she was young. Once Brenna found one of the books based on Norse Mythology, she skimmed through it until she reached the part that discussed The Asgardian Bridge, The Bifrost. "No way…" She announced as she brought the books to the photograph on the phone to compare them.
"Holy Crap! Those markings are exactly the same in that Norse Mythology Book dad bought you!?" Aldous shouted in utter shock at this discovery with Coulson clearly confused by this. Heck, it even sounds unbelievable since there was no way that Gods, Magic, and Monsters were real in the past.
"Are you suggesting that Norse Mythology is actual history? We are talking about magic! There is no way that is true." Coulson declared with confidence that the two were joking with him.
"Every story has a thread of truth. Even tales regarding Myths and Legends. 'Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from Magic.' This was said by Arthur C Clarke. I even theorize that Magic is just a form of science that has yet to be understood. If this is true, then we have been encountered by otherworldly beings before. Even have been saved by Odin, Thor, Loki, and Lady Sif." Brenna said with amazement and utter shock by this. It would be the discovery of a lifetime if this was to BE True. With a smile, Brenna looked at Coulson before announcing, "Agent Coulson, I will allow you to use my technology for this task as long as you allow me to lead this mission along with my selected members for this. I would not mind aid from your agency if you chose to provide it." Then Ms Osborn offered a handshake like how one was to form a deal, "Do we have an agreement?" She asked as she raised an eyebrow.
"Are you gonna bring your pal, Darcy? I know she definitely does not qualify for that, Brenna." Aldous questioned as he looked at her as if she was crazy, but with one of Brenna's Death Stares. Aldous immediately shut his mouth and looked away.
"That is fine, Ms Osborn. I trust your judgment on who you bring along." Coulson told her as the two shaked hands. "By the way… Mind if I help with the investigation? I promise to behave too. I want to make sure that Tanya is safe and even help clear her name if possible." Aldous requested with determination.
"Glad to see that you are willing to help your girlfriend out, bro. For a second I thought you were too lazy to help out." She announced with a snarky tone as she placed one of her hands on her hip, "I thought your night with her was too much for you because I can imagine how that went between you two." She implied what may have happened. This made Aldous snap at his sister as he began to chase her as Coulson just decided to leave before he became collateral in the sibling's antics.
