Both Tanya and Aldous made their way to one of her research facilities where the Stark Industries most iconic technology was located. This was The Arc Reactor, a powerful piece of revolutionary technology that had the potential to be a source of unlimited and clean energy. At least that is what Tanya theorized it could be and she was hardly wrong. Yet, it was never developed further after its creation due to how much it was to produce the massive device for what was basically a 'corporate stunt' during the Hippie Era. "So," Aldous began as he looked over the device that Tanya brought him to, "Why are you showing this thing to me again?" He continued as he turned to once in a lifetime beauty of a genius. Tanya let out a quiet laugh as she tilted her head at Aldous.
"Kind of disappointed that you haven't figured that out yet. Did you get even lazier while I was gone or did you lose some of your smarts from what I assume is your sister smacking you over with a chair?" She asked with a sassy tone while pointing out some of the bruising on his head. Aldous nervously chuckled as he rubbed the said area. The Stark Woman let out a small giggle as she began to unbutton her shirt to show her boyfriend the blue glow of the mini version of the large machine behind her. "I've made a breakthrough with The Arc Reactor. It is helping me stay alive and keep the shrapnel within my body from entering my heart." She explained as Aldous leaned in closer to view this device. With a sly smirk, Tanya suddenly makes Aldous fall over by using her foot to pull his leg from under him. Aldous fell onto Tanya's very impressive sized breasts as she used her arms to make them the landing pad of Aldous' face. Aldous was lost once he landed due to being overly flustered by this before yanking himself off of Lady Stark's big boobs. Tanya laughed as she buttoned her shirt back up. "You're so damn cute when you're flustered, Aldy." Tanya told him before kissing his cheek.
"That's a low blow, Tanya…" Aldous told her as he blushed a dark shade of red as he smiled.
"You make it too easy. Not my fault, Aldy." She told him as she leaned on one of the railings next to her.
"Fair enough. Although… I think it is best to keep that type of technology to yourself for now. You need to figure out who you can trust within your company." Aldous told her with clear concern which shocked her.
"What do you mean by that?" She questioned with worry. This made her a bit on edge that Aldous was serious as he said this. He was hardly ever serious due to being so laid back most of the time.
"I met up with an Agent recently from a group known as SHIELD and they suspect that someone had released your location while you were showing off your new Missile Launcher." The Asian Filipino bluntly told her as he turned towards Tanya. This almost made it clear that someone was double-dealing behind her back, which made her visibly enraged as she tried to hide her face within her hair.
"You shouldn't do anything too rash, Tanya. You need time to heal and please do so. I'll look into this while you recover. I promise we will get to the bottom of this whole mess. Ok?" Aldous told her while rubbing her back for comfort.
She was silent for a bit before she told him: "I need to make things right… I can't allow myself to be the villain…" Tanya was disgusted with herself that she created the pain and suffering the people had faced in The Middle East that she was experiencing now. She shouldn't have survived and escaped that cave… Unless there was a reason that she did.
(Meanwhile with Brenna)
Brenna was with her best friend, Darcy. Darcy was a college girl working for extra credit to graduate since she really didn't exactly pay attention in her classes. She would normally just browse on her phone in a bored manner due to having lame teachers within her classes. Which she was doing even now as Brenna glared at her for a bit. "You do realize that you are lucky I am willing to help you with getting your degree, right?" She simply told her as she crossed her arms in disapproval of Darcy messing around with her phone on Amazon.
She let out a very annoyed sigh while rolling her eyes. "Come on! Have you even been to college yourself? I can't help it when the people that are teaching are doing it in such a boring and monotonous fashion that you would just fall asleep in the middle of it!" She protested while giving a very annoyed look to The Asian Filipino Amazon who just gave out an exhausted groan. "Also, how do you manage to look so damn sexy all the time? What the hell is your exercise routine and figure protein cocktail you use?" The Ditzy Brunette asked while checking Brenna out once again. Brenna just rolled her eyes while trying to hide her blush.
"I eat healthily, jog a few miles at five in the morning, and do a few other things in my personal gym at home. I used to have a gym membership, but I got kicked out after I pummeled a few perverted assholes who tried to have their way with me…" She simply explained as a small group of SHIELD Agents showed up in a few black SUVs.
The group of four other Agents promptly exited the vehicles along with Clint Barton. Yet three of them didn't really look like actual agents since they dressed more casually than what you would expect from a super-spy agency. "Hello, Ms. Osborn and…" Agent Barton began as he waited for the introductions for Darcy to be carried out.
"Name's Darcy Lewis, sir." She introduced herself with a welcoming smile. Barton just returned a light chuckle before turning towards his fellow agents.
"I would like to introduce our team that will be assisting us. Meet Agents Jemma Simmons, Leopold Fitz, and Grant Ward." Clint introduced each respective member while the last girl seemed a bit offended by this.
"Uh… What am I? Chopped liver, Clint?" She questioned with a raised eyebrow.
Grant then patted her back to ease her, "Well, Skye. You aren't an Agent yet. You are just a trainee who was recruited by Coulson." He explained.
"That is true, but I do apologize though. Skye here is Coulson's hand-selected protege." Barton explained further which clearly won some interest from Brenna as she began to look over the girl to figure out what made Skye so special.
"Let me guess, Skye. Top of the line hacker? I think I have seen your work with a group known as The Rising Tide." Brenna claimed with a smirk, "Bet you managed to crack the cyber security of SHIELD like it was a walk in the park from what I heard about you." She continued on before offering Skye a handshake to express how impressed she was.
Skye was a bit taken by surprise by Brenna as she returned the handshake. "Wow. I didn't think you were that good." She told Ms. Osborn.
"Excuse me, but I would like to ask a few questions regarding your company's advancements in Bio-Science. What I have is quite impressive for a person like yourself, Ms. Osborn." Jemma announced with pure eagerness to share her own notes with Brenna.
"What kind of weird did I just walk into…" Darcy questioned as she tried to keep up with the clear group of 'Supers' around her. Although Skye did seem like the most normal person within the group and was quite interested to befriend her.
