The next day…
Both Ken and Akemi woke up early the next day, do their usual morning routine of cleaning themselves up, putting on their uniforms, grab their bags and having breakfasts with their family and friends before they left their homes, make their way toward Shigure's house and halfway there they stopped in their tracks when they saw with displeased looks on their faces at Isamu coming in the opposite direction and she stop too when she see them.
"Oh, good morning, Amada, Kanzaki." greeted Isamu in stiff politeness to both Ken and Akemi.
"Good morning to you too, Toudou." greeted Ken in stiff politeness back to Isamu.
"Why are you here?" asked Akemi suspiciously at Isamu.
"The same as you two, to check out this Tohru Honda girl that Shigure allow to stay in his house with him and Yuki-kun, Kanzaki." replied Isamu.
"Uh huh. And let me guess, Akito told you to do it, right? You've truly became an obedient puppet of Akito, huh?" said Ken coldly to Isamu.
"What Akito-san told me to do or not is none of yours and Kanzaki's business anymore ever since he kicked you two out and looks like your cold attitude is still the same as ever, Amada." said Isamu emotionlessly at Ken.
"What was that!? You…" snapped Ken as his eyes turned yellow in colour in anger at Isamu.
"Ken, calm down and ignore her! Alright?" said Akemi swiftly and calmly to Ken, trying and managing to calm him down and make his eyes turned back to their normal brown colour.
"Wise decision from you, Amada. And good job in calming him down, Kanzaki." said Isamu proudly and slightly mockingly to Akemi.
"Be quiet and not another word from you, Toudou!" snapped Akemi as she scowled darkly at Isamu.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." said Isamu in a dismissive tone of voice to Akemi (which annoy Ken) before she, Akemi and Ken resumed making their way to Shigure's house, arrived and Isamu proceed to ring the doorbell while both Akemi and Ken watched and waited in silence and a few seconds later, Isamu, Akemi and Ken heard the sound of approaching footsteps before the door open up to reveal Shigure.
"Well, well. Good morning to you three, Ken-kun, Akemi-chan and Isamu-chan. What brings you 3 to my humble abode early in the morning today?" said Shigure innocently and teasingly to Isamu, Akemi and Ken.
"Good morning to you too and the reason why we're here is because you texted us that you and Yuki-kun let Tohru Honda stay at your home because she lose her tent home in a landslide last night, that's why and is it true, Shigure-san?" asked Isamu innocently and curiously back to Shigure.
"Really? I did, Isamu-chan?" said Shigure with a feign confused look on his face.
"Yes, you did so drop that look on your face, you pretentious dog." said Ken with an annoy look on his face at Shigure.
"There's no need for you to be so grumpy early in the morning, Ken-kun…" said Shigure calmly and slightly teasingly to Ken before he got cut off by a sudden loud crashing sound coming from above him, Isamu, Akemi and Ken, which make them look up with curious and concern looks on their faces.
"What in the name of Izanagi…" said Akemi.
"Come on, let's go up and check it out, Akemi-san." said Ken as he quickly take off his shoes (with both Akemi and Isamu taking off their shoes as well) before he, Akemi, Isamu and Shigure swiftly went upstairs, went toward a room and they saw Yuki standing near the window with his eyes closed and an exasperated look on his face and saw Tohru lying on the floor filled with the wood debris from the ceiling (that had a huge hole on it) and with a red shirt, long dark green baggy pants and a red and white Juzu beads bracelet lying on the ground near Tohru.
"Yuki-kun, is it Kyo-kun again?" asked Shigure as he glance at Yuki.
"Of course it had to be him. Why am I not surprised?" mutter Ken with a more annoy look on his face.
"F-Forgive me! Are you alright…" babbled Tohru worriedly and slightly panickly to the person that she fell against only to fell silent as she picked up an orange-coloured cat from within the red shirt.
"Oh dear…" said Shigure with a concern look on his face.
"Great. Just great." sighed Isamu as she closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose.
"He turned… into a cat." said Tohru.
"That idiot." thought Yuki in annoyance at the orange cat in Tohru's arms.
"D-Don't t-tell me!? I-Is this my fault!? I-I somehow make him hit his head on the floor a-and turned him into a c-cat after I slip on a piece of wood and fell against him!?" babbled Tohru worriedly and panickly about the cat that she hold in her hands while paying no attention to Shigure, Isamu, Akemi and Ken standing behind her while Yuki walked around her toward them.
"Anyway, he needs the hospital…" said Tohru as she swiftly stood up, turned around and about to leave the room while still holding the cat in her arms before another broken piece of the ceiling fell on Tohru's head, making her winced and gasped in pain from it before she fell and leaned against both Shigure and Yuki, which make them, Isamu, Akemi and Ken gasped and widened their eyes in surprise/shock from it before both Shigure and Yuki burst into blue and green smokes before the smokes went away to reveal a black dog and a tiny grey mouse in their place.
"Seriously? First she see Kyo-kun in his cat form and now she see Shigure-san and Yuki-kun in their dog and mouse forms? That's not good." thought Akemi with a worry look on her face.
"W-W-What? S-Soma-kun and Shigure-san are a d-dog and a m-mouse? H-How?" babbled Tohru more worriedly and panickly at seeing both Shigure and Yuki turning into a dog and a mouse in front of her.
"Ugh, dammit! How the hell are we gonna come up with a good cover story for her if you 2 transforms too!" hissed the orange cat as he glared in anger at the black dog and the tiny grey mouse.
"You're the one who slipped up first by bursting in earlier without any warning, you stupid cat." said the tiny grey mouse in a deadpan tone of voice to the orange cat.
"Excuse me, you damn rat!?" hissed the orange cat more angrily at the tiny grey mouse.
"Th-They can speak human language too!?" thought Tohru more worriedly in her mind as she watched them being able to speak human language before she realised that Isamu, Akemi and Ken are in the house with her and the 3 animals and glance at them. "B-By the way, how and why are you three…" asked Tohru in confusion to Isamu, Akemi and Ken.
"Well, now that the cat's out of the bag because of her, no pun intended to you, Kyo-kun…" said Isamu in a deadpan tone of voice to the cat (who hissed out an "Oi!" word at her). "What are we to do with you now?" added Isamu as she glance blankly at Tohru.
"… I think it's better for us to tell her the truth instead of a make-up story that she doesn't believe. Will you and Toudou-san bring Honda-san to the living room and explain things to her while I stay here with these guys, Akemi-san?" suggested Ken as he glance at both Isamu and Akemi.
"Sure. Come on, Honda-san." said Akemi as she glance and nodded at Ken before both she and Isamu help picked Tohru up from the floor, bring her out of the room away from Ken and the 3 animals, went downstairs and went into the living room and they sat down and proceed to explain the history and the zodiac curse of the Soma family to Tohru.
