The next day, in Kaibara high school…

Tohru, Yuki and Kyo bade farewell to Shigure and left the house, met up and greeted Miyuki, Isamu, Goro (who smirk and teased Kyo for being easily tricked by Shigure into transferring into Kaibara high school, which embarrassed and make Kyo angry at them for teasing him), Akemi and Ken (who felt sad and disappointed at Miyuki, Isamu and Goro for teasing Kyo) along the way before they decide to go to Kaibara high school together and once they arrived and entered the school, they split up and head to their own classrooms.

Outside the classroom…

"Where is he?" said a short light brown-haired, female student to her friends as they stand outside the classroom and looking at each of the students inside the classroom for the new transfer student.

"Look, over there! The boy with the short orange hair!" said one of the girls to the short light brown-haired, female student as she raised and pointed a finger at Kyo (who's sitting at the back next to the windows and surrounded by curious-looking girls).

"Think it's his natural hair colour? Like how Arisato-san, Toudou-san, Kanzaki-san and Yuki-kun have their own natural hair colours?" said a short black-haired female student.

"He's cute!" said another female student.

Inside the classroom…

While the female students standing outside the classroom is staring and gossiping about Kyo, the same goes for some of the female students inside the classroom too.

"Say, are you Soma-kun's cousin?"

"Are you two close?"

"Anything else about him that you know and can told us about?"

As the female students kept on asking one question after another to Kyo about Yuki, Kyo look even more nervous and afraid of the female students and their relentless questions.

"Look at how popular the monster cat guy is with some of the girls already, Isa." whisper Goro in amusement to Isamu at Kyo's predicament.

"Yeah, how right you are but then again, he just transferred into this school and he's a new student after all, Goro." whisper Isamu back to Goro.

"That's true enough, Isa." whisper Goro in agreement to Isamu.

"Enough and will you two just stop picking on him already!" snapped Akemi in disapproval at both Goro and Isamu making fun of Kyo while Ken sighed and shake his head at them and Miyuki stay silent.

"Yeah, sure, Kanzaki-san. I'll be going now so I'll see you later, Isa." said Goro as he shrugged his shoulders before he bade farewell to Isamu and left.

"He's afraid…" thought Tohru sympathetically in her mind at Kyo while her two friends Saki help turned her hair into curls with a curling iron device for hairs behind her and Arisa sitting on a chair before Tohru heard and glance at the two female students standing near the door asking Yuki about Kyo (same goes for Miyuki, Ken, Akemi and Isamu).

"I'm sorry, senpai. We're technically cousins, but we're not close. I've never even spoken to him." said Yuki coolly and with a cold smile on his face to the two female students.

"Ouch. That's quite the cold-hearted words you just told them about cat boy, Yuki-kun." thought Isamu in her mind.

"Do you have to say that to them? Poor Kyo-kun…" thought Akemi sadly in her mind at Kyo.

"Th-That smile is…" thought Tohru nervously in her mind when she saw the cold smile on Yuki's face.

"I like his hair colour. It's a little like Kyoko-san's, all orangey colour." said Arisa, liking and complimenting Kyo's orange hair.

"Now that you mention it, it really does look similar to my mother's hair colour." said Tohru in agreement with Arisa about Kyo's hair colour similar to her mother's hair colour.

"So, what school did you transfer from? Why do you dye your hair? Tell me!" asked one of the female students curiously and excitedly to Kyo (who's still not answering their questions).

"I feel them. I feel the same waves as Yuki Soma's. What are they? What am I sensing? These waves aren't human…" said Saki with a blank look on her face at both Yuki and Kyo.

"Never underestimate Hana-chan's wave report." thought Tohru more nervously in her mind at Saki's wave report as she glance at Saki before she heard the sound of a chair scraping against the floor, glance back and saw Kyo standing up and walking away from the female students.

"Soma-kun? Wait, what? Where are you go-" asked the same female student in confusion to Kyo.

"Oh, not good. He's now in a super panicky mood and will lash out at whoever's unfortunate enough to be close to him. I better get in there and try to calm him down before he lash out!" thought Akemi worriedly in her mind for Kyo and for the female students standing around him as she swiftly make her way toward Kyo, only for him to suddenly snap, grab hold and pinned Akemi down and holding her left arm in a painful grip in his hand.

"Argh, ow! Kyo-kun, please calm down and let go of me! It's just me, Akemi Kanzaki!" said Akemi as she winced in pain from him pinning her down and gripping her arm tightly and painfully.

"Akemi-san! Let go of her already!" said Ken in worry at Akemi then in anger at Kyo as he rush forward to help Akemi.

"Oh dear…" said Isamu with a surprise look on her face.

"Kyo's-" gasp Tohru, worried for both Kyo and Akemi.

"Leave me alone already!" snap Kyo as he let go of Akemi, open one of the school's window, jump out and landed safely on the ground before he turned and run away while the female students look out the window and watched Kyo run away with impressed looks on their faces at what he just do.

"Why that… Are you alright and how's your arm, Akemi-san?" asked Ken concernly to Akemi.

"I'm fine and just a strain on my arm, that's all. And don't be too mad at Kyo-kun, Ken." replied Akemi reassuringly to Ken.

"That's good, at least." said Ken with a relief look on his face.

"That guy's kinda entertaining and pretty brave of Kanzaki to just went in like that." Said Arisa with an amused look on her face while Yuki, Miyuki and Isamu watched in silence.

A few minutes later, in a secluded corner in the school…

After Kyo run away until he found a secluded spot in the school, he sat down to calm himself down and catch his breath and felt guilty for hurting Akemi.

"Hey. Would you mind thinking a little more before you act and hurt someone like Kanzaki-san? At least you didn't hurt her more than her arm." said Yuki in disappointment at Kyo for his attitude and for what he did to Akemi.

"Shut up, I know that! Plus why are you going to a school crawling with girls like this? Are you insane?" said Kyo in disbelief at Yuki for going to a school with girls in it.

"It's a lot better than being forced to go to Akito's chosen boy's school. I want to get at least one foot out of the Soma cage. I don't understand why you actually want to go inside it." said Yuki as he look away from Kyo while both Tohru and Miyuki showed up, look around and saw both Yuki and Kyo standing in the secluded corner.

"Oh, there they are!" said Tohru as she's about to approach them only for Miyuki to put her hand on Tohru's shoulder to stop her.

"Wait, Honda-san. Looks like they're arguing now so let's stay out of it." said Miyuki.

"You… You would never understand! I'm gonna win. I'll win against you, and become a full-fledged member of the Soma family! I won't let you, let them ostracize me anymore!" snap Kyo in anger at Yuki before he grab hold of Yuki's shirt collar and raised his right hand and clench it into a fist in preparation to punch him.

"Stop! You mustn't do this!" yell Tohru as she break free from Miyuki's grip, rush forward and wrapped her arms around Kyo, which make him glance at her in surprise before he burst into orange smoke and turned into his alternate cat form.

"Honda-san, you really…" thought Miyuki as she closed her eyes and shake her head at Tohru.

"I-I'm sorry. But fighting… Fighting is no good… I-If you fight at school you'll…" said Tohru.

"… Can it, you! All I care about is beating Yuki! Don't freaking get in my way! What's your problem!?" hissed Kyo as he turned to glared at Tohru.

"…Oi, Kyo." said Yuki.

"GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!" hissed Kyo loudly at Tohru before he fell silent and realised too late at what he just said to Tohru (who turned sad and pale and mentally move away from him).

"Max Rage… He hates me… I just earned his complete hatred…" mumbled Tohru as she stood up, turned and walked away from both Kyo and Yuki and walked past Miyuki without staring at her.

"Humph. Job well done, you idiotic cat." scoffed Miyuki coldly at Kyo before she turned and follow Tohru.

"Arisato-san's right. You really are an idiot." scoffed Yuki in agreement with Miyuki before he turned and walked away too, leaving Kyo by himself.
