Several hours later, in Shigure's house…
"You skipped out on your very first day?" said Shigure in slight disbelief at Kyo.
"I want to leave this house." grumbled Kyo sullenly at Shigure, ignoring and not answering his previous question.
"It's only your third day here. Think of this as a form of training, and suck it up like a man." said Shigure calmly to Kyo.
"I always end up saying mean things to her and I accidently hurt Akemi today." grumbled Kyo guiltily to Shigure.
"Her"? You mean Tohru-kun and you hurt Akemi-chan today?" said Shigure as he glance at Kyo.
"I can't do this, okay? I'm not cut out for living with or around other people." said Kyo.
"You just don't have enough experience, that's all. Here's an analogy; you can break a table with a single punch, but you can also pull back that punch just before it lands. Getting along well with other people works the same way. You need to interact with strangers, hurt them, get hurt by them, learn about people, and learn about yourself, too, or else you can't become capable of true empathy. Keep training now and don't run away, so that one day when you meet a girl who says she loved and cared about you, you'll be able to treasured her." explained Shigure calmly to Kyo.
"Like there even is such a girl for someone like me." scoffed Kyo.
"What'll you do if there is such a girl for you?" asked Shigure playfully to Kyo.
"I can't even imagine. I guess I'll start by asking her if she's crazy." replied Kyo bluntly to Shigure.
"I see." said Shigure with a small nod of his head before Yuki came home and stepped into the living room.
"I'm home." said Yuki.
"Welcome back. Where's Tohru-kun?" asked Shigure as he glance at Yuki.
"At work. She won't be done until late, so I'm thinking of working her home." replied Yuki.
"Yeah, do that. Perverts sometimes wanders around here." said Kyo without looking at both Yuki and Shigure.

Meanwhile, in Akito's room in the Soma estate…
After both Isamu and Goro came home from Kaibara high school, Goro went straight to his room to rest up while Isamu went to Akito's room to meet and gave her report about Kyo's first day in Kaibara high school after Shigure tricked and transferred him to enrolled into yesterday, which make Akito burst out laughing after Isamu gave her report.
"Oh man! How I wish I could have see the look on that monster's face when he knew that he got tricked by Shigure!" said Akito after he had enough of laughing.
"So do I and looks like my report cheer you up, Aki-chan." said Isamu with a small smile on her face.
"Yes, it did. It did cheer me up so thanks for reporting it to me. You're one of two girls that I do genuinely like to talk and spend time with, Isamu." said Akito as he slowly stood up, approach and kneel down to wrapped his arms around Isamu and hug her.
"So was Akemi Kanzaki before she did "that" which angered you and you kicked her and Ken-kun out of the Soma estate when he defended her…" thought Isamu emotionlessly in her mind as she let Akito hugged her before they heard someone knocking outside the door.
"Yes, who is it?" said Akito.
"It's me, Izumi-san. It's time for your bath, Akito-san." said Izumi-san's voice outside the door.
"Ah, right. I'll be going now and you can go back to your room, Isamu." said Akito as he pull back from Isamu and stand up.
"Yeah. See you tomorrow and good night, Aki-chan." said Isamu as she nodded, stood up, turned and left Akito's room through another side door and as she make her way down the hallway toward her own room, she narrowed her eyes when she see one of the female servants of the woman that Akito loathed very much walking toward her and holding a tray that had the woman's dinner on it, which caused a wicked thought to crossed Isamu's mind and once the female servant is close enough, Isamu stick out her right foot to make the female servant trip and fall with a surprise gasp and causing her to drop the tray of dinner hard on the hallway floor, making the tray of dinner to smash to pieces and spoiling the cooked foods within.
"Oh dear, aren't you quite the clumsy one and because of your clumsiness, you dropped and spoiled your dear mistress dinner…" said Isamu mockingly to the female servant.
"I did not! You did it, you tripped and make me fall and spoiled her dinner on purpose! Do you have any idea how long it took for me to cook her dinner…" snapped the female servant as she swiftly stood up and turned to glared at Isamu.
"Really, I did? Why would I ever want to do that and do you have any proof that I did and did you see any other witnesses around besides us?" said Isamu innocently to the female servant as she look around for anyone else and saw nobody.
"Grrr, damn you!" snapped the female servant angrily at Isamu.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll be going now and you better clean up the dinner mess caused by your own clumsiness." said Isamu more mockingly to the female servant before she turned and walked away, leaving and letting the livid female servant to clean up the ruined dinner mess herself and mentally cursing Isamu in her mind.

Meanwhile, with Tohru…
Tohru is currently walking home by herself while thinking and feeling sad about how angry Kyo is at her back at school then she stopped walking to cheer herself up by remembering her mother's words telling her to be herself before she heard the sound of footsteps coming behind her.
"Could… Could that be… one of the "perverts" people talking about!? No!" thought Tohru in nervousness and fear in her mind as her face swiftly turned pale and sweats start dripping off her face before she closed her eyes, let out a scream while raising and swinging her school bag to hit the "pervert" behind her, only for her to open her eyes and see that the person she hit with her school bag is Kyo himself (which make him immediately turned around and not looking at Tohru).
"U-Um! I was just, eh, doing practice swings! It's a lucky day, right? Are you going for a walk, Kyo-san?" stammer Tohru nervously to Kyo.
"Cut that out! Being call -san makes me itchy. You can just drop it." said Kyo in slight irritation at Tohru.
"Then, Kyo…kun?" said Tohru.
"Yeah, what?" said Kyo.
"I was just testing the name." said Tohru.
"Don't say my name if you don't need anything!" snapped Kyo as he scowled at Tohru.
"Right!" said Tohru nervously to Kyo.
"No, scratch that. It's fine. You can call my name without needing anything, and I don't mind if you hang around where I can see you, and if something pisses you off, you can hit me, like you did just now." said Kyo almost apologetically and a bit nervously to Tohru.
"Could he be… trying to apologize to me? That's why he came out here…" thought Tohru in surprise at Kyo. "L-Listen! I'm sorry, it was a misunderstanding. I hit you with my bag because I thought and mistaken that you're the "pervert" that people been talking about!" said Tohru apologetically to Kyo.
"A p-pervert, me?" said Kyo with a disbelief look on his face at Tohru.
"In fact, what I feel is love! I've always loved the Zodiac Cat! It's true! I… I wanted to be the Year of the Cat! So what I'm saying is… I want to be friends with you!" babbled Tohru.
"What will you do if there is such a girl for you? A girl who say she loves you…" Kyo think back on some of Shigure's words as he watched Tohru in silence while his face turned red in embarrassment before he composed himself and walked past her. "There's nothing good about the Year of the Cat." said Kyo sternly to Tohru.
"I think I'm starting to understand Kyo-kun a little. He's a little awkward, but I'm sure he has a gentle heart. He knows what "I'm sorry" feels like… He's an honest person…" thought Tohru as she watched Kyo walked past and walked ahead of her toward Shigure's house before she smiled and followed behind him.
