A/N: Thank you for your LucaBethian level patience in waiting for the next chapter. Life has definitely gotten in the way in its creation and publication as we lost my 39 year old cousin to a drug overdose, work kicked in with overtime and now I have been slammed by COVID (Currently on day 11/12 with a fever over 101.5, no sense of taste or smell, zero appetite, a weakening cough and extreme fatigue). Praying that the fever breaks for good very soon as this is awful.

For the one team Nathan member who signed on as a guest to compliment the story but criticize me as being too harsh, in your view, toward Nathan on Twitter, I did not approve your review. I'm not going to set up a precedent where anonymous reviews on this forum can be used for that kind of discussion, particularly when they ignore the fact that I have defended Nathan as well. If you want to discuss Twitter, do so on Twitter. This is not the place. My story has been set up in a way that both teams can enjoy it and nobody's hero is stomped on. Discussions on Twitter are of a different nature and are meant to be more critical. Sometimes they are a bit unfiltered. I've asked both sides for character flaws for Lucas too so just because it seems 'harsh' doesn't mean it is meant as an attack. We're trying to see what makes up a character's personality - or sometimes it's meant defensively when TL gets attacked. In any case, I don't believe the statements have been unfair. I see many good attributes to Nathan Grant and have chosen to focus on those in my story (haven't seen that reciprocated much on Twitter or Fanfiction regarding Lucas btw, but no complaints).
Anyway, enough of that. It's been so long since I have updated that I felt I owed you an explanation. As soon as my body gets enough energy to continue I will get the chapter finished and published (currently it's over 3k words). Prayers are very much appreciated as this is physically and mentally very draining. If this post comes off as ungracious, please note that wasn't its intent. Looking forward to seeing all of our characters, including Nathan and Allie, in Season 9.
