AN: In a recent review from the previous chapter, someone had a question about the elf village. Yes, it was an abandoned one, one that Harry never knew about as he never really ventured outside in the old timeline. He felt that such a thing was probably too dangerous given the war and how they were living. I wanted to show that the Potter family cared about their elves and allowing them more liberties than their counterparts. This same person thought that a 100,000 Galleon fine was not enough. I am sure that a lot of you feel this way, but remember he's lost all the money coming in, lost control of the separate account that he had titled as the Hogwarts School fund, all control of Harry himself and as you suspect will never get it back. But not from the lack of trying. That's all I can say at this point. I hope this clears up the questions. Thank You

Chapter 9:

Drink the potion alone probably was not the smartest thing he had ever done. He was lucky as he had only been down for about ten minutes on the floor, Before getting up, harry looked for the empty vial but couldn't find it. A glance a t the shelf he saw that the vial was back in its original position and had refilled itself.

'Hermione would love that' he thought. Something to research later. As he made his way back up to the house, he started to notice some changes. The most noticeable was the lack constant aches that he usually had. Something that he truly hadn't really thought about in a very long time as he had always had them. Now they were as if he never had them.

But it was when he crossed the threshold of the door when he felt a liquid running down his forehead. Reaching up, he expected blood. What he got was what he considered as 'black tar'. Thick and sticky with an odor or rotten flesh. Dobby seemed to sense that he needed him as the elf popped in, took one look, before popping out, popping back in with a hot wet rag so that he could wipe the mess off. Once clean he thought that he must have knocked his glasses off as everything was blurry, only to discover he was still wearing them. Hesitantly he took them off and saw the world in all its glory.

Dobby gave him an earsplitting grin.

Now it should be explained that that, yes Geoffrey Potter had brewed the potion, but he had used the most expensive ingredient known the Wizarding kind. Phoenix Tears and Holy Water. Geoffrey's wife, Magda, a Celtic Mystic, had informed him of that a future descendant would need such a potion in the future. And just to make sure that it was a potent as he could get it, Friar Tuck gave it a Blessing.

That combination would repair pretty much everything that was wrong with Harry. But it did something that no one had yet realized. Everyone of Voldemort's Horcruxes dissolved into nothing. The items that housed them were returned to the point to just before they were 'infected'. This included the shade that was once Lord Voldemort. In the forest, in far off Albania, an unholy scream rent the air. For years to come the locals refused to set foot in those woods for fear of meeting whatever screamed. In one swig of a potion, Harry had finished the main objective for coming back without even knowing it.

Albus Dumbledore arrived at the Ministry's main floo entrance and was in motion before anyone stop him. And several people tried. But he got on to lift that was empty and selected the floor that he needed.

Exiting the lift, he turned to the left and came the door leading into the Wizarding Family Service. When went up to the counter and rang the bell as hard as he could.

After a couple of minutes, a female clerk cane forward.

"Yes? How can I help you?"

"I need everything that you have on Harry Potter and his guardian Transfer!"

"I'm sorry, sir, but those files are sealed by order of the Ministry."

"Do you know who I am?" he thundered.

"I know exactly whom you are, Headmaster Dumbledore, but I still can't give you those files."

"You will or I'll see that you are dismissed for failure to co-operate!"

The clerk's eyes narrowed. "Headmaster you go ahead and do that, and we'll see what's what. Now good DAY, sir!" and she then turned a went into the room that she had come out of.

After five minutes of yell, he turned left the office. His next stop was Fudge's office, but his secretary told him that Fudge had just left to go to the emergency Wizengament meeting. One that she thought he was also supposed to be there.

A quick turn he barely made it into the chamber before the doors were magically sealed.

As he made his was to the Chief Warlock's seat, he realized that this was just not his day as he saw that Sirius Black was seated by Ted Tonks.

'Damn'

Once Harry got over his shock, he gave the three new elves their bags. Ducee and Snowy were both beaming when he handed the smallest one to Briny telling them that it was meant as a teaching tool. He answered the final questions and asked Snowy, who could write, for weekly updates so that her knew what was going on. He then had Dobby pop him to a few locations before bringing him back to his room at the Leaky Cauldron. Portkeying back into the trunk, he noted that he had been away close to two hours, so he went into the kitchen to cook breakfast and pack the special picnic basket.

Once that was done, he placed a warming charm on the dishes and went into his pantry to double check his supplies. He wasn't in there long when he heard his name being called.

"Coming love" he called as he went to grab the tray of breakfast and went into the sitting room.

While Hermione could be called a morning person, she also like some solitude when she first woke up. Luna on the other hand was not a morning person. Sometimes Harry thought that she did it on purpose so that she could pretend she was a zombie, especially after watching some classic horror movie with Hermione. Apparently, Hermione loved them.

He set the tray down on the table and slid a plate in front of each girl. As it was a special day, he made each of his loves' favorites. Hermione had a stylized French one. Tea, instead of coffee, croissants with raspberry jam, and a bowl of fresh fruit. Luna's was pancakes with layers of whipped cream and blackberry jam in between each pancake, bacon, tea, and a very, very small dish of marshmallow pudding. His was a combo of theirs. He had Hermione's fruit, with Luna's pancakes minus the cream and jam, just butter and syrup on his, toast with butter and gooseberry jam, and bacon.

As usual he started eating fist as the other two hadn't noticed what was in front of them.

Six bites in before Hermione actually noticed what was in front of her. Her eyes widened as she nudged a sleepy Luna, who when opening her eyes let out a squeal then pounced onto her food.

Harry watched amused as his girls devoured their breakfast. He ate his at a slightly less pace but was actually starving. So much so that a second helping was needed of what little was left in the kitchen and an added scrambled egg.

"That was divine Harry." Stated Hermione as she wiped her mouth with her napkin. It was then she saw that he wasn't wearing his glasses.

"Harry? Where are your glasses?"

That question had Luna actually looking up from her pudding. It was she that noticed the other big difference.

"I want to know what happened to your scar?"

"Well, I returned the Sanctuary this morning…." and he explained what had happened.

Hermione had that look on her face that told Harry he was treading on thin ice. "Let me get this straight. You, one, bond a family of elves to the family, two, giving them areas of work that they enjoyed, all of which I support, but the third one, the one where you DRANK AN UNKNOWN POTON WITHOUT THINKING IS NOT AMUSING!"

"Hermione…"

"No, Harry, this is not an okay thing to do. I don't care if it was your ancestor that made it or the fact that the door just magically opened for you now instead of before. This is going to take awhile for me to get over."

"I know, love, but my gut told me that it was going to be alright. Now whenever has my gut been wrong?"

"Never." she grudgingly admitted. "If fact it usually saved us."

"So forgiven?"

"Yes, Harry forgiven but if you ever do something like that again you're sleeping in the doghouse that I'll build just for that reason. Got it?"

"Got it."

"So, the 'black tar stuff'?"

"Voldemort's Horcrux. I haven't felt a thing since then. In fact, I haven't felt this good ever. Now as it is about 10 o'clock, I'll do the dishes while you two get ready."

With a last scrap of her pudding bowl Luna ran from the room, yelling to Hermione "Want to share the shower to save time?"

With a slight grin, Hermione rose from the table and followed the little blonde into the bath. Harry laughed at their antics and he cleared the table and went to clean his kitchen.

Arthur Weasley was waiting with the rest of his family in the main room for the Leaky Cauldron. The night before had not been the beat as he had slept on the cot, forcing Molly to share with Ginny. He was still angry about the whole situation, blame bot his wife and Albus Bloody Dumbledore. So, after a very short sleep, he gathered the entire family into the boys' room before they all came downstairs for breakfast to use his authority as Head of the Family to lay down the law as it were.

He had made each acknowledge his right, then extracted a specific promise. They were to avoid Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Luna Lovegood unless one of those three approached them first. Their magic would give them only three warnings, that would get more painful with each broken promise, before they would lose their magic totally, possibly killing them. To do so was their personal choice. The most reluctant to do so was Ron, Ginny, and Molly. Just like he thought they would. Molly even tried to change the wording but in the end Arthur had won.

His musings were interrupted by the arrival of Harry and the girls. He walked slowly towards the young wizard, noting that the boy paid for his and the girls' room, leaving a nice tip for Tom.

"Mr. Potter?"

"Mr. Weasley."

"I wish to tell you that I have extracted a promise from those of my family that are here, into leaving you, Ms. Granger, and Ms. Lovegood alone unless one of you approach them. This also includes any packages that Molly used to send. I have her promise that she will not do so without verbal agreement form you personally."

Harry could tell that this was killing the man, but he had to admit that this would make his life easier. One less thing to worry about."

"I appreciate this Mr. Weasley and accept your solution with the honor that you have shown."

Arthur sighed in relief. "Would you care to join us for breakfast?"

"No thank you, we've already eaten."

Arthur nodded not knowing if it was true or not.

"Well then would you three care to join us in the Ministry provided cars to go to King's Cross?"

Harry looked at both girls who nodded and Harry agreed. Arthur smiled went to get his brood together an out of the pub to the muggle side.

In front of the pub were two black cabbie cars that belonged to the Ministry, Harry himself, solved the problem of who would sit with his group when he pulled Fred and George over and told them to get in. It was then that Arthur the lack of trunks from the trio. All they had were their school bags, but it wasn't his place to ask. He had no way of knowing that Harry shrunk his three special trunks so that they could be carried in the expansion pocketed bag. Even the special picnic basket had its own pocket.

Once the groups were in their cabs, due to the magic of them, they made the station with ten minutes to spare. Harry led the girls into King's Cross and through the barrier that led to Platform 9 ¾.

Molly rallied the children through the barrier next. For once the Weasley family was early.
