Adora barely had a moment to take in Catra's room before the other flung herself at her, wrapping her legs around Adora's waist and practically taking her out. Adora caught her with a laugh and held her legs around her arms. Catra smiled in a moment of success type of way. They're hands were still frozen solid and their cheeks were pink from the chill outside so their movements were laughably slow as they tried to get to each other's bare skin. Catra gazed down at Adora's shirt and shook her head, already having trouble undoing the buttons on the back of her borrowed top. After a moment, Catra grunted in annoyance and pushed away. "I'm gonna rip this," She said definitively.

"No. It's not mine."

"I don't care," Catra said, and Adora could tell she was ready to do it. The idea itself made Adora's heart beat with anticipation but still she grabbed her girlfriend's hands, restraining her. "Fine, you have a better idea?" Catra whispered. Adora released one of Catra's hands and reached behind her, undoing them herself. Catra furrowed her brows in annoyance. "Let me act on how much I want you," She murmured, her eyes this time falling to the buttons of Adora's pants, as if this was the next best thing.

"All my clothes are at Perfuma's, do you want me to go back naked?" Adora asked, although she had a guess on the answer. In return, Catra smiled wickedly and just shrugged. For a moment, Catra looked like she was really going to do it but then she stopped herself and laid back on the mattress, giving Adora her best puppy-dog eyes. "But your clothes are here," Adora said softly, a smile creeping across her face as she met Catra's glance.

"Hey, my girlfriend made me this shirt," Catra chuckled.

"Hm," Adora's mouth reached Catra's cheek and Catra let out a small purr of contentment. They laid in each other's arms and slowly, as they defrosted from the outside air, they removed layers of each other's clothes like they were exploring the other's body for the first time. Adora didn't know if it was the alcohol or the weeks apart but she couldn't tear her eyes or her fingers away from the other, as if to let go of each other for a moment would be a moment wasted.

Catra seemed to feel the same and the couple fell silent as their lips said what they could not. How much they missed each other, how much they wanted each other. Catra was needy and obsessive, pushing her tongue into Adora's mouth and clawing at her back with sharp nails. Adora cried out in pure pleasure, feeling her own self-control reaching a breaking point. She didn't remember ripping off Catra's shirt but then it was in tatters on the floor and Catra's glistening chest lay bare in front of her, her eyes meeting Adora with a deep sense of urgency. Adora thought about apologizing but Catra didn't seem to mind at all, mumbling that she'd steal Bow's anyways and then, soft enough that Adora could barely hear, adding that she was even more turned on now. Then, Catra's tongue was on Adora's chest and stomach, licking the sweat from her body and pulling what fabric was left off of her, leaving them both exposed and heavy breathing.

"I want you," Catra said, like a question that needed an answer. She searched Adora's gaze. Adora nodded.

"You have me," Adora replied. Catra nodded, her hands rough but kind as they glided down her girlfriend's skin. Her touch felt hot and purposeful as she roamed Adora's thighs and Adora raised her hips up reflexively. She closed her eyes, focusing on nothing else but the tension building at Catra's fingertips. Catra's mouth re-found Adora's and they lay in a deep romantic kiss, pulling to each other firmly. Adora spread Catra's legs apart with her own, pushing her up so their legs were wrapped amongst each other's, their bodies tightly wound like a clock ready to start ticking. Catra let out a moan as Adora's fingers explored her exposed legs and fell between her thighs. Adora pushed her down, lying sideways on the now messy hotel bed and taking her time dropping her mouth to Catra's body. Catra replied by pushing her fingers roughly through Adora's hair and Adora's hand reached up to cup at her partner's breasts while the other slid between her thighs. Catra let out a gasp and tugged at her hair hard. When Catra's legs were shaking and her fingers quivering, she pulled Adora to her lips and flipped her over to return the favor.

The two remained naked, even hours later, this time with Adora lying on her stomach while Catra straddled her butt, rubbing her hands along the other's back, tracing the claw marks she had left there. "Sorry about that," Catra remarked, lightly grazing the scratches. Adora waved a hand dismissively, her eyes closed as she tried not to let sleep take her. She didn't understand how Catra still had any energy, but wanted to stay awake as long as possible. Catra gave her a hard spank on the butt and Adora yelped, looking back at her partner who was chuckling to herself. "Oops. My hand slipped," Catra shrugged, looking pleasantly at the handprint she had left. Adora laughed, slightly more awake now, although she wasn't sure it would last. She turned over, pushing her girlfriend off her so they were lying together on a mass of hotel pillows, their arms still lazily hung over each other's waists.

Adora took the moment of peace to look over the room. It looked nice and updated, a fancy boutique type hotel with a view of the skyline. When her eyes fell again to Catra, she found her watching her. "It's nice, huh?" Catra guessed, bending her arms behind her head to prop herself up, looking at ease and comfortable. Adora nodded. "Normally we'd stay on the tour bus, or all get a big place since it's expensive to stay in hotels but every once in awhile we get a nice break," Catra explained. Adora noticed just how tired Catra looked and was reminded once again of the dark circles and hollow cheeks that seemed to envelope her girlfriend in the dim lights. Catra looked over at her and the corner of her mouth lifted. Adora moved over so she could rest her head on Catra's chest and listened to her explain what it was like sleeping on a tour bus with Entrapta day in and day out. Before she could stop herself, she started to doze off, listening to the sound of Catra's voice and her heart beating softly in her ear. "It was Entrapta's idea to talk to the Crimson Waste," Catra was saying. Adora nodded. Catra paused. "And they offered it to us."

"And I'm so proud of you," Adora whispered, no longer able to hold her eyes open. She shut them, just for a moment, and fell asleep.

When Adora awoke, the sun was just creeping up and Catra was lying sideways, facing her intently. "Oh no. I fell asleep," Adora groaned, covering her eyes and realizing too late that she needed a large glass of water to deal with her hangover. Catra ignored her, still looking her over. "…yes?" Adora asked, stretching with a yawn and then reached for Catra, curling into her side.

"Did you know you talk in your sleep?" Catra asked softly. Adora froze, happy that her face was tucked under Catra's chin so she couldn't see her reaction.

"What did I say?" Adora asked, although she wasn't sure she wanted to know.

"Not much," Catra said quietly, "But… enough to make me think that you still have nightmares." Adora pulled away, giving her girlfriend a soft smile.

"Yes, but they happen less when I'm with you," She whispered. Catra smiled but it didn't reach her eyes. She was playing with Adora's hair, twirling at her ends with a light touch that varied drastically from her movements the night before.

"I didn't know that," Catra said softly, "I'm sorry I haven't been around to help." She looked pained and Adora knew that Catra of all people understood exactly what her nightmares consisted of, since she too had suffered for years.

"How did you get over them?" Adora asked, hoping to remove some attention from herself. Catra gave a sinical laugh.

"I still have them. Just not as often. Sometimes I see my mom," She paused for a moment, her gaze focused on the windows and the sky, "I guess I'd rather see her there then not at all," Catra added with a shrug. She relaxed when her gaze fell back to Adora. "Plus I had someone that helped me through them." Adora blushed. "I'd be happy to return the favor," Catra added, wrapping an arm around Adora's shoulders, and tugging her to her. Adora's heart filled with happiness in the other's arms, and she breathed in deep, smelling a familiar scent of afterparty, sweat, and something pleasantly fruity. They lay there for a moment, enjoying the sun coming up, and then Catra sighed and pulled unhappily away from her girlfriend.

"I hate to do this, but I have to go soon. We have a busy day ahead and I need to meet with the band…," Catra stopped, looking genuinely sad at Adora. They stared at each other a moment and Adora gave her a meak smile and a nod of understanding. "Stay here as long as you like. I have it until tomorrow. Order room service, I'll just stick it on the bill," Catra gave her a wink and then swooped over to place a kiss on Adora's cheek. Adora grabbed her before she could pull away and pulled her back to her mouth. Catra made a some of happiness and kissed her back, neither wanting to pull away. Eventually, Catra did pull back to jump in the shower and start getting ready. Adora, needing more time with her girlfriend, followed her in and they washed each other's bodies with smiles on their faces and kisses down their body, until Catra finally groaned and got out. She checked her watch and swore, running around the room grabbing things while Adora slipped back under the covers, watching her girlfriend run around like a madman. "Alright. I'll see you for lunch?" Catra asked, looking hopeful. Adora nodded happily and then, after another series of kisses, said goodbye to the other and watched her run out the door with a still wet mop of hair. Before running out the door Catra stopped and turned back, "And about last night… Let's discuss later." Catra nodded with a smile and then disappeared.

"Uh, yeah okay," Adora wracked her brain over the previous night trying to figure out what Catra was referencing. Her stomach growled though and her attention was distracted once again. She would have to get back to Perfuma's and groaned at the thought of walking out in last night's outfit and not her big puffy winter jacket. She lay in bed, deciding it was better to order breakfast here and then figure out the rest of the day. She ordered herself some food and waited happily under the covers until her phone started buzzing at her side. She reached over to answer it before realizing it was not actually her phone that was going off. She hesitated, looking down at Catra's phone, but decided it was probably best to answer.

"Hello, Catra's phone," Adora said hesitantly, hoping that if it was a work call that it would at least be someone she knew.

"Catra's…Oh? And who am I speaking with?" A sharp clear voice rang through the phone.

"This is Adora. Who's this?" There was a pause for a moment and Adora wondered if she was going to get an answer.

"Adora," Repeated the voice in an oddly cheery way, "I apologize Adora. My name's Double Trouble, I help manage the First One's."

"Oh! Right, you were at the show in Seattle," Adora replied.

"Yes and so were you if I remember," Double Trouble said back, an edge to their voice, "With that little pink and purple haired girl." Adora blushed, hoping they hadn't witnessed any of the fighting between her and Catra that night. "Well, this just works out perfect," continued Double Trouble, "Why don't you come down to the Crimson Waste this morning. Watch the band rehearse, meet some of the people. You do belong there after all."

"Oh I'm not sure Catra would…,"

"Want to see you?" Double Trouble cut in quickly. Adora's brows furrowed.

"No no, I'm just not…"

"Great! Then it's settled. You'll come. See you soon…Adora."

"I," *click* "Oh, hello? Hello? Okay then," Adora shook her head at the phone that had now gone dark. She lay back into the pile of pillows and decided they were right. She did want to see the Fright Zone rehearse and get a chance to spend more time with Catra even if it was just watching her from a distance. After a lovely breakfast of eggs and fruit, Adora stole a pair of black pants from Catra's clothes and a tee she was pretty sure Catra only wore to bed, not wanting to slip back into Perfuma's clothes. She still had no jacket but decided it'd be fine. Besides, Catra would want her phone back and she didn't want to keep anyone waiting. With a satisfied nod, Adora grabbed her things and set out to the Crimson Waste.
