Lost sense of purpose
Chapter 13th
Doctor Efrem Dennison will say to the two agents in sickbay with the information they were asking about. "I believe the helicopter will be arriving within the hour and we have advised Bethesda hospital of this fact with the Captain authorization. He's glad that those involved have been arrested in the plot to kill the two officers, along with three trying to kill Special Agent Gibbs." he will have to say...
"I know of one person that will be glad is his wife Marcie coming back after finishing up her work with the Washington Post." McGee needed to say with a yawn and two days of needing to sleep.
"Right now I need to get the patient ready for transport after the poison had been neutralizing in his bloodstream?" Doctor Dennison had to say on his patient.
As for First Lieutenant, Angela Bowers had been placed in one of the brigs on the carrier, while the others were separated. A number of charges were going to be over their heads and including for Bowers. Even though she will want to make some type of a deal after what she had done to Special Agent Gibbs.
Marcie Warren Gibbs had arrived home after getting the word from Director Leon Vance in regard to her husband and the fight she had days ago. She had tried to talk him out of it with the undercover operation. He had mention that once that he does finally retire. There was a good chance that he will be working on those very rare operations to help NCIS and his ego for the most part.
She was exhausted when she felt alone with Lucy now gone to be staying with Phineas for now on as his pet. Gibbs had felt that Lucy would be staying by herself all of the time with the both of them working. So this way Lucy will benefit from staying with Phineas and his aunt and uncle.
He had done this while she was away working on the story. When all this happened with Phineas and his aunt and uncle were injured in a car crash. He had felt bad however it was for the best. Gibbs had called his wife just after she left for the trip about giving up his friend Lucy.
She walked into the house having to be quiet as hell and looking into the corner for where Lucy used to lay. She was exhausted with needing to change into clean clothes have gotten the word that her husband will be transferred to Bethesda hospital after three times being attack with the last time earlier having to been poisoned.
She had started to cry at thinking about hearing the bad news that he could have died.
Needing to sit down for a moment to take in a deep breath after crying. She headed up into the bedroom to find the right clothes to wear. But she didn't know the exact time when her husband was going to arrive. So this was going to give her the chance to lay down and sleep with the hospital to call her when. She will be leaving her cell phone on the side of the bed.

Meanwhile on board the Benjamin Franklin.
Sickbay had gotten Special Agent Gibbs ready for the flight back to the Bethesda hospital. They had kept him asleep in order not to wake up during the hour flight. McGee, Torres, and Bishop were able to go along for the ride by taking cabs home from the hospital.
This particular Apache helicopter was huge able to carry a number of people, crews, and one patient. The Captain had given the order to take off with one male resident doctor to go along in case of trouble with the patient.
Special Agent McGee had been in contact with Director Leon Vance letting him know that they were on their way over to the hospital even though it was a long flight for them and Gibbs.
Vance was going to meet them at the hospital. As with Doctor Cyril Taft to take over as the primary care physician with placing Gibbs in ICU on the tenth floor.
Taking off the deck of the Benjamin Franklin with very little wind or cold weather. For which was going to be good for everyone on board. Though for Bishop her stomach was annoying her when it comes to the pregnancy.
Though Torres thought it was a bad idea to come along in the first place. He was sitting next to her closing her eyes for the moment.
"Are you alright Elle?" Torres once again was concern...
"Sick as hell with the flight Nick. The baby in this stomach of mine is wreaking havoc with me right now," she said..."I can't wait to land!" she commented with Nick holding her hand while looking over at Special Agent Gibbs strapped in tightly and still asleep. "Do you think he's going to be alright?" she had to ask with Gibbs being her mentor and father figure during the past seven-plus years.
"Let's hope so! He's already lost too much time with the different injuries while on the job Elle. He doesn't deserve all this after being married to Marcie Warren for three months." Nick commented with slight anger in his demeanor.
"I will agree Nick." this time it was Senior Field Agent McGee having made the comment.
Moments later they were able to hear the pilot say that they will be landing in ten minutes at the roof of the hospital.
"Thank god!" Bishop says with a deep breath feeling slightly better.
She continued to look over at Gibbs with a calm mostly to his face. Hopefully, it will stay that way until they get him to ICU and waking him to examine him further.
They were able to see the hospital up ahead as the Apache helicopter circled with the pilot contacting the hospital that they have arrived with Doctor Cyril Taft and his team waiting at the door opening with a much larger stretcher/table to take him down to the tenth floor ICU.
