The chapter (I think) we've all been waiting for! However, I'm going to be honest here. I didn't set out for this to be a 'smutty' fic, so things will be glossed over.

Chapter 9 – It's About Time

Emma smiled as she tucked Henry in, kissing his cheek. "You've been such a good boy, my little man." She praised. "Granny said you're listening, and your tutor said you're doing amazingly well with your letters and numbers. Are you happy here, Henry?"

The little one nodded with a smile. "I never been happier, Mama. I've never seen you happier either. I'm actually glad I got sick, and we came here."

"I'm not glad you got sick, but I am glad we came here. Now, it's time for my little Prince to get some sleep. I love you so much."

"I love you too, mommy." He said, curling up on his side with his eyes closed.

Emma then went down to the study, finding Regina alone. "Where is everyone?"

"Granny has gone to bed and Ruby and Mal have decided to shift tonight, so they're in the woods. Don't worry, Ruby will be safe."

"I'm not worried." Emma said, sitting by Regina. "Not about Ruby anyway."

Regina closed her book. "Then what are you worried about? Don't tell me you're still worried about the coronation."

Emma sighed and nodded. "I'm terrified. Regina, what if I mess it all up? It's one thing to make a fool of myself, I can handle that, but I don't want to embarrass you."

Regina sighed and put an arm around Emma, silently sending her calming magic. "Emma, you won't embarrass me. I hate boring and traditional, but I also want this to be legal and binding. All you have to do is stand up and take an oath; that's all, Princess."

"Everyone will be watching and judging."

"Who cares? Emma, none of them matter. Only you and I matter." She brushed Emma's cheek with her knuckles. "I lo…like everything about you."

Emma grinned. "Do you?" She forgot her nerves in that moment and shifted to face Regina more. "You don't know everything about me. You don't know every curve, every sound, anything really about…me." She smirked as she ran her hand along Regina's side. "And those are things I'd very much like to know about you."

Regina couldn't stop her smirk. "You have been a good Princess for the last few weeks. We've had nice dinners, walks in the garden, even some cuddling while reading. I suppose that's the same as roughly five dates."

"You just like to tease me." Emma said, rolling her eyes.

"I do. I also like to make sure no one is rushing anything."

"Regina, I'm here okay? I'm here and I'm not going anywhere."

"Yes, you are. You're going up to my bed chambers." Regina said with a smirk. Emma got up and then held her hand to her forehead. "Dizzy spell? Emma, you've been having those off and on since you got here."

"Regina, I've been having them my whole life. It's just because I got up too fast."

Regina shook her head, using her magic as she ran her hands over Emma. "No, it's more than that. Emma…did your parents ever tell you that you have magic?"

"What? How can I have magic? I can't do anything like you and Mal can."

"Hmm, that's because your magic has been bound. I'm assuming it has for a long time." Regina gestured and the two started up the steps. "The reason you feel dizzy is because magic is emotion and when yours is at it's highest, you feel dizzy because your magic can't come out. Just now, for example, you were excited, and your magic wanted to express that, but it couldn't."

Emma thought about it. "That would make sense. When Henry was sick, I was dizzy all the time. I figured it was because I was so worried – and in a way, I guess it was."

"I can unbind it, or at least loosen the binding until you're used to it. We can do it step by step. I fear if it's completely free, you won't control it."

"Will you teach me to use it? You and Mal?"

"I know I will and I'm sure Maleficent will as well. Now, come on my love, I thought you wanted to know all about me."

Emma kissed Regina deeply, closing the bedchamber door behind them. This time, both women gave themselves completely to each other and wisps of magic could be seen. "What…what's going on?"

Regina looked at Emma in awe. "Your magic…it's unbound."

"Regina what is going on?" Mal asked, opening Regina's door with a look of worry.

"What do you mean and why are you interrupting us?"

"Didn't you feel that just now?" Maleficent asked, looking around. "Wait…it came from here."

"What came from here?" Emma was extremely confused.

Maleficent smirked, seeing neither woman understood. "Never mind. I'm sorry to have interrupted. Emma, now that your magic is unbound, we'll add magic lessons to our etiquette lessons."

"Wait, how did you know?" Emma asked, but Maleficent was already gone in her signature smoke. Emma looked at Regina. "What just happened?"

"I have no idea." Regina said, closing her door. "But let's try to forget it." She then went to Emma and kissed her again, using her magic to undress them both, and magically lock the room at the same time so they wouldn't be interrupted. She lay Emma on the bed, crawling on top of her all while not breaking the kiss. She realized she could kiss Emma forever and be happy. Emma realized she never wanted to be without the woman on top of her. Sure, maybe at one point, bedding each other was just a goal for them, but now…now they both felt things they never expected to feel.

A couple hours later as they lay in each other's arms, basking in the post-sex glow, Emma looked in Regina's eyes and smiled. "You are amazing. I've never…just…wow."

Regina couldn't stop her chuckle. "So eloquent, dear." She teased and kissed her. "You're pretty amazing yourself, Princess." She wrapped Emma in her arms. "Stay with me tonight?"

Emma smiled softly, loving how this Queen – The Evil Queen as her parents had called her – sounded vulnerable just now. She kissed Regina softly. "I'll stay with you forever if you let me."

Regina smirked a bit, though her heart jumped at those words. "That was the plan, Princess Emma."

Emma chuckled and gave Regina's shoulder a light love bite. "I meant, in your arms, in your bed…with you. I know you said marriage doesn't have to be part of this deal, but…I mean, I…"

"Emma don't say anything right now. You're feeling good from everything we just did. I swear to you that if we both feel like this in the future, we can discuss it, but right now, let's just enjoy what we have." Regina said, kissing Emma. "In fact, I hope you're ready for me to enjoy a bit more of you, Princess."

As the two continued their love fest, Mal and Ruby sat down in the study. "I had no idea." Maleficent stated. "I mean, who would have thought that the daughter to Regina's arch nemesis would be her True Love?"

"It seems almost crazy. I mean, if Regina hadn't used magic to stay young, she'd be…well far too old for Emma. Why would the Fates make them True Loves?"

"Ahh, see you make the same mistake as others. 'True Love' isn't always a romantic love, just as 'Soul Mates' aren't always couples. Maybe the Fates just knew Regina would be the one to save Emma, therefor also 'saving' Regina but in another way. She hasn't allowed herself to feel anything towards anyone since Daniel. This is good for both of them."

"You think they know what's going on?"

"They haven't a clue." Maleficent said with a smirk.

Meanwhile, in the White Kingdom, David was pacing in front of Thomas. "How could you agree to go? Emma has betrayed us and you're going to go celebrate this…this joke?!"

Thomas, who only came here out of respect for his 'friend', was realizing this man really wasn't who he wanted people to believe he was. Maybe the rumors from the ogre wars were true and if they were, he would forever turn his back on him. "Emma is my Goddaughter and I support her. I don't know what happened to make her leave – I barely have your side of the story, much less hers, but that girl was born to rule and I think she and Regina will do an amazing job. Besides, I'm looking forward to working out trades with the Black Kingdom again. You know as well as I do that no one makes as good medications as they do."

"You're a traitor!"

Thomas shook his head. "No. I'm just no longer your lap dog." He went to leave, and David grabbed him by his shirt.

"Do not turn your back on me. You wouldn't want what happened to Daniel to happen to you."

Thomas glared at him. "So, it's true? You killed him?"

"He turned his back on me."

"You weren't his leader! He owed you nothing! He saved your life- our lives after we went with your idiotic plan, and you kill him?" He pushed David away. "You're crazy! I'm glad Emma and Henry got away from you and I only hope that one day, your sons will too!" Thomas then left the room, the palace, and the kingdom, vowing never to return.
