Bucky kept his hand locked with mine as we walked back into the compound, Steve was stood at the door waiting for us a small smile graced his lips
"Liv, your dad would like a word with you both"
"Okay Steve, where is he?" I asked walking in the door,
"The lab" Steve nodded his head in the direction of the labs
"Okay, thanks Steve" I smiled leading the way, Bucky's hand still intertwined with mine,
"Hey kid, Bucky" Dad smiled at us as we walked in
"Hey dad" I smiled back
"Tony" Bucky nodded towards him
"I just wanted to say I will support your relationship, so will your mother, you seem a lot better but let me make one thing very clear" Dad stated looking between us "you look after each other at all times if you are not on the compound, you will not be partnered together on missions, we need full focus on the mission that is first priority, if you have a an argument or a disagreement you leave it at the door until you come back"
both myself and Bucky agreed to the rules my dad laid out when it came to missions, completely understanding that we could put the whole team in danger if we didn't follow them.
"Great, your both responsible so I'm sure we wont have any issues" Dad smiled pushing us out the office.

I was sat with Bucky on the jet, waiting for Steve's report on the hydra base, everyone on the jet had a slight frown on their faces, my heart was racing slightly as my stomach jumped with anxiety as we waited for an update, Sam and Wanda had kept watch on the outside of the base in case anyone tried to escape,
"Surely no news is good news?" I muttered looking at Natasha who shook her head softly
Bucky's arm wrapped round my waist, pulling me closer to him, I looked up at him, he was staring off into space, the same grim frown covered his feature.
"We have a situation here" Steve's voice rang through the com
"What's up rogers?" Nat asked
"We have agent's here, I need back up, it was a set up!" Steve shouted, gun fire echoing in the back ground "Wanda get in here!"
"On the way cap!"
the jet floor opened up, hovering over the hydra base, each of us looking between each other as we got ready to descend with agent hill staying on board, standing next to Bucky getting ready to jump Bucky wrapped his hand round my arm
"You need to stay here doll"
"No chance, I'm part of the team, I'm coming!"
"Liv please don't fight me on this" Bucky snapped, looking up I met his eyes, pulling my arm from his grasp "I need to help" I stated before jumping back out of the jet
"Damn it Liv!" Bucky shouted through the coms jumping out after me, landing just out side the base, I clocked Nat and nodded towards her running into the base,
"Cap we're in, where are you?" I asked,
"I'm in one of the labs" Steve stated "My tracker is on, follow it"
Looking down at my watch, I could see cap's symbol, waving my hand towards Nat to follow me,
"God this place is a freaking maze" Nat complained
"I know, you would think they would make it easy to find the labs" I snipped back "one more left and we're there"
running round the corner Nat ran up in front shooting the lock on the door, Steve stood in the middle of the room, Wanda stood next to him eyes glowing Scarlett as she used her powers against the hydra agents,
"Look's like you could use a hand" I Smirked throwing two fire balls towards the agents Steve was fighting, Nat jumping straight in to the fight standing with her back against Wanda's
"Funny Liv" Steve groaned blocking the agent's shot with the shield before throwing it towards him hitting the agent square in the chest,
"LIV WATCH OUT!" Wanda yelled yanking me out the way, falling backwards, bringing my legs up just as the agent was about to fall on top of me, kicking him backwards, pulling myself back up before the agent could run at me again, raising my fists in front of my face taking on a fighting stance as the agent charged again, swinging my fist forward as it connected with his cheek, he turned his face back and smirked at me catching me off guard has his fist collided with my stomach, gasping slightly jumping out the way before he could strike again, keeping my eyes on him, channelling my powers, fire engulfing my hands, smiling to myself as his eyes widened
"You! it's you!" He yelled pulling a gun from his belt, I laughed slightly before reaching out and striking him in the side at the same time he shot the gun, pain radiated through my shoulder spreading down my arm, Ice cold pain, the fire disappearing from my hand, "The boss is going to be thrilled if I bring you back!"
"Steve!" I yelled as I fell to my knees as the agent grabbed me round the waist pulling me over his shoulder running towards the stairs leading out of the lab
"Wanda stop him!" Nat yelled
"On it!" the agent stopped dead dropping me from his shoulder onto the concrete steps, a loud gasp of pain escaping from my lips.
Steve came over and grabbed me, looking me over placing a hand over the wound on my shoulder and wrapping one arm round my waist holding me up
"Guys we have a man down, we need to get out of here" Steve stated through the coms before running back to the jet Nat and Wanda following close behind,
making it back to the jet Steve sat me down in one of the seats just as Bucky and Sam came back on board, Bucky hurried to myside taking my face in his hands looking me up and down, clocking the bullet wound in my shoulder he turned and glared at Steve
"What the fuck happened?!" Bucky snapped
"I got shot Bucky, thought that would be obvious" I laughed
"It was a trap set for Liv, they must have known she would have came on the mission" Steve frowned "it was a bullet made of ice"
"Ice? Why Ice?" Nat asked looking at me
"Cause freezing cold temperatures are the only thing that can really hurt me" I stated "They found that out when they where experimenting on me" I groaned wrapping an arm round my waist "I think I've broken my ribs"
"Don't worry Liv, we'll be home soon" Bucky stated kissing the top of my head
"What do you mean when they experimented on you?" Wanda asked, realisation flashed through my head
"Um..when Hydra kidnapped me, they didn't just hold me hostage, they tortured and experimented on me, I will tell you all the full story, but not right now"
"Yes, you will be, how can we protect you if you don't give us the full story Liv!" Nat snapped "For fuck sake Liv! what if we never notice that agent taking you! We would have lost you again"
"Calm down Natasha!" Bucky snapped "She didn't tell you to protect you all"
"Protect us?! protect us! how is that protecting us! what she did was stupid and put herself in danger" Nat snapped "And how do you know what happened Barns?"
"She told me a few weeks back" Bucky stated.
"Nat please" I whispered "I didn't do it to put myself in danger, I couldn't talk about it myself, how could I talk about it with all of you"
"Liv?" Nat asked
"Hmm?" I muttered looking up at her
"Maria, you need to floor it" Nat stated calmly "Liv, look at me"
I Groaned and looked up at her, everything looked slightly blurry, my body felt heavy "Liv, keep your eyes open" Nat stated
"What's going on?" Sam asked looking down at me "Why is she so pale"
"I don't think that bullet was just made out of ice" Nat stated
"Bucky...I don't feel good"
"Hold on doll, we're nearly home" Bucky smiled, pulling me into his side, kissing my head
"Bucky I..." I tried to speak before the whole world went dark
