When Violet woke up she was in a hospital bed, her arms were wrapped up so they were completely covered. Her hair was down and she was in a hospital gown. She had a few IVs in her side and looking under the covers her legs were wrapped up too.

She looked around and found water and paper and a pen on her bedside. There was also a Man sitting in a chair on her right that was reading a book. The second she moved, the man's head shot up and he looked at her.

"Do- do you remember me?" the Man asked her, she looked at him quietly asking a silent question. "It's me Howard. Howard Stark, remember?" he said.

Howard? Why does that sound familiar? Howard Stark? Howard. Stark. Howard.

"H-howard?" She said testing it out like it was the first time in years that she spoke. Before she could process anything he was hugging her. When he started to pull away and run out of the building he said behind him.

"I'll be back"

A Little 7 year old Tony was running around the house from his nannies. He jumped into a room and closed the door. When he looked around he realized it was a room he had never been in.

The walls were off white, and the bedding was white with purple flowers. There was a chest at the end of the bed, other than that there wasn't anything special. It was obviously a girls room, there was even a picture with her and her boyfriend and her friends on the nightstand.

He looked around for a little while before running to his parents. "What's with the girls bedroom?" Tony demanded the two parents look confused before Howard put the pieces together.

"That room is for Violet Stark" Howard answered with a smile and before Maria could question him he added. "She's your Aunt" He said and started to walk to the room Maria and Tony followed. "Aunt Peggy found her in the woods during World War 2 and I took care of her and adopted her as my sister."

Tony was immediately jealous of her, and he ran over to the chest and opened it. Other than clothes it didn't have that much in it. A Locket, Pocket Watch, Letter, Books, knives, Masks, and Pictures. There wasn't anything special, he was almost disappointed. He thought that the chest would have something interesting.

"She sounds boring," Tony saids, making Howard chuckle.

"She was very robotic because of her past," Howard explains, "I had this room made for her because this is what I wanted for her. She lived her whole life in the middle of war, she was only a child. She just needed a normal life, and the war stopped that" Howard said.

"Oh poor child" Maria said comforting Howard. Tony kept looking around and her stuff was getting noisy. The two adults left the room, Tony leaving a little while after.

Back to present time

Violet was confused as she looked around and tried to piece things together. She knew Howard but then why couldn't she remember him. She went to grab for the water but she fell over from exhaustion, a nurse ran over and put her back in the bed.

"There you go, how about you just rest for now" the nurse said, holding the glass while Violet drank from the glass. After that Violet rested, she barely moved and just took note of her surroundings. It was around a day before Howard came back.

By this time she could remember small memories of him. He took care of her during something, and gave her books and a locket. That was most of what she could remember, but he looked nothing like he did in her memories. In her memories he was young, had black hair, and looked more full of life. Now he was older, had brownish hair with some grey mixed in, and looked tired.

He walked in again in a suit and a bag in his hand. He had a warm smile on his face as he walked over and started explaining that he was going to take her home. Having the nurses take the IVs out of her and help her get dressed.

She came out of the bathroom in a Wheelchair in a maroon shirt and white button down shirt. Her boots were brown-maroon leather, and had brown gloves in her bandaged hands. Her hair was down to her hips and was burgundy.

Howard waited and once the nurses let him take her, he started wheeling her to the elevator and straight to his car. He helped her into the car and put the wheelchair in the trunk just in case and drove off.

"Violet, a lot of time has passed since you've seen me. I have a -" Howard was cut off by her.

"Violet?" she asked like she didn't know who that was,

"Yes, Violet Stark that is your name," Howard told her a little confused and looked at her for a second before looking back to the road. "Anyway, back to what I was saying, I'm married now. I have a wife named Maria and a son named Anthony. They're welcoming you into our house, a lot has changed with the world since World War 2." Howard had said he spent the rest of the drive telling her what had changed. She stayed quiet for the whole ride, just listening to Howard, more memories coming to mind as the ride went on.

Eventually they came to a stop in front of a mansion, there was a woman and son standing together in the front and another man standing a little away from them. Howard got out of the car, and Violet followed suit. Standing up but a little shaky on her feet, she watched Howard as he led her to the three people standing at the front of the building.

"Violet, this is my wife Maria, my son Anthony, and my Butler Jarvis. Guys this is Violet" Howard said. "How about we all go inside and have some coffee and cookies" Howard said and Tony grew a grin and ran into the kitchen and started stuffing his face with them. The others walked inside and sat down on the couch.

"So Violet, what do you remember from the war?" Howard asked as tea was poured in front of her.

"The war? Is it over?" Violet asked, her memory was confused but she did remember being in war. She remembered the war, she remembered Peggy and Howard, and she remembered blood.

"Yes dear, the war ended 40 years ago" Maria answered with a sad smile on her face. Violet spilled her tea and everyone got up to help her because she spilled it on her arms.

"It is okay," She said robotically and took off her bandages. "They are prosthetics" She answered, at which Tony walked over and started looking at them. Amazed at the craftsman ship. Maria now looked close to tears.

Her prosthetics were a smooth silver with red designs on it. Looking at them now they brought back so many memories that her mind would let her process them. The whole conversation lasted a few hours of asking and answering questions.

She got caught up with the last 40 years, and was welcomed into the family. She was shown her bedroom and all her old clothes still fit.

That night she spent hours staring at the pictures Howard had of her and her 'friends'. Her memories came back while looking at the pictures and her mind slowly organized her memories. She went to bed that night with nightmares, though she appeared to be sleeping normally.

She dreamed that she was back in the war, everyone around her was dead and bloody. She was in a white dress that was stained with blood and she could taste blood on her teeth. She just stared around her, she heard a noise to the left and before she could process anything she ran over and killed every living thing she could.

Though it was different, the blood made words in the snow. Weapon. Killer. Moira. She was confused as to why they were written in the snow, though before she could do anything blackness consumed her.

And she woke up, sunlight was shining through the window. She got out of her violet covered sheets and made her bed and got changed. She sat on her bed and waited, she waited for someone to come get her, or for her orders.

It was a little while until Tony came. "Come on, breakfast is getting cold" he said, grabbing her hand and dragging her down the hall to the dining room. Howard and Maria were already eating, Tony sat down and started to chow down. Violet took a seat and food was emittaly served to her.

She questionly took a fork and started to eat the food. She ate everything on the plate, not caring as to what it was. That day Howard stayed home and helped her out with her memories. He showed her where the library was and other things she might like.

The next day he was gone before she could see him. She ate with Maria and Tony, then spent most of the day reading unless Tony came and asked her to play a game with him. In which she was terribly confused, offen questionly things and insulting the game and him accidentally.

And that how she lived the next few years.
