It's funny…Where signs sometimes lead you…Rarely…Where you'd thought you go…But always where you belong…The only sign you ever really needed…Was the one that reminded you…Was that you were never alone….But you can discover that…Just like Alice from Alice in Wonderland…No matter how wild the ride is…Signs will sometimes lead you…Right back to where you started from…Changed…Different…But…home…

Vixen laughs at what she had just seen, wishing that she had her camera out so that she was able to record the scene. Harry was just taking a drink of his pumpkin juice, looking around–though she knew that her brother was trying to take a peek at the Ravenclaw girl he had his eye on for some time. When he saw Cho, he smiled but let some of his drink spill out, staining his pants and making him turn red with embarrassment and turning to face his friends and laughing sister.
Cho's friends were also laughing as she told them to stop but the damage was done and Harry was now mortified by what had occurred and didn't even want to look at the Ravenclaw table for some time now. He glared at his still laughing sister before shaking his head and looking over to Hermione, who was reading the Daily Prophet and looking almost impressed by what it was that she was reading.
"I still can't believe that you were able to get Rita Skeeter to tell the truth during this tournament!" Hermione tells Vixen once she stopped laughing.
Vixen shrugs, "I told you, I did the karma spell on her, if she dares try to write false wording then she will have her punishment and the false words will turn into truths."
"It must be great to be able to use your magic at will and without a wand!" Ron tells her with a wistful sigh.
The Wiccan witch shakes her head, "Don't forget that there's the golden rule to not harm innocent or use my magic for personal gain, else my magic will be revoked or I turn evil."
"Well, that's stupid," Ron muttered with a frown.
"It's the Wiccan Rede, plus there's that Rule of Three," Vixen rolled her eyes when she saw the frowning look from Hermione and Ron. "Whatever energy a person puts out into the world, be it positive or negative, will be returned to that person three times."
"Probably why you always get the bad luck, Ron," Harry said with a smirk at his best friend, who glared at him. "You're always throwing negative energy out into the world."
Hermione sighs, rolling her eyes, "I swear, if you both start fighting now, I'm going to dump this whole pitcher of pumpkin juice on both of you."
"Don't worry, Mione," Vixen starts, giving the two boys a look that they knew all too well. "I'm sure they've learned their lesson now. Unless, of course, they want to be frozen down in the dungeons and maybe then they would have to go together as a date to the damn Yule ball."
"Nope, we're good!" both boys said quickly, shaking their heads with wide eyes of fear at going to the ball together.
"Have you heard anything more happening to your cousins?" Harry asked, switching the topic quickly.
Vixen gives him a look but shakes her head, "No. Trent hasn't come by with urgency and you better knock on this wood because I'm not going to have you jinxing them or me!"
Harry cringes and does as he was told, knowing that if he didn't, his sister would forcedly make him–especially when it came to being jinxed or any type of superstitions as they are as real as any spell cast by a Wiccan witch. Hermione opened her mouth to say something but Vixen beat her to it, having seen the look, as well as knowing the other girl so well in the fact that she is very analytic.
"Superstitious is like uttering the curse or the jinx to come true within the magical Wiccan community. If you don't undo it, it's gonna come true," Vixen tells her seriously as she starts to gather some food. "Plus, I can't afford to be distracted by helping out my cousins when we need to get these Horcruxes destroyed."
"Then we better get started on how and when we're going to my house to get the Horcrux there without Sirius knowing," Harry tells her seriously.
Vixen sighs, frowning in thought, "How indeed."

–Halliwell Manor–
Phoebe and Prue sneezed at the same time, as did Piper from the kitchen doorway, frowning as they looked towards each other, confused that that happened at the same time. The sisters waited to see if something was going to happen, alert for any type of magical being about to attack them at any moment. When nothing happened, they sighed with relief before Piper entered the kitchen all the way as Prue hides the newspaper that both she and Phoebe were looking through.
They were circling ads for apartments, as they knew it was about time that they left their middle sister with her husband and kids. Both sisters figured that Piper should keep the Halliwell Manor and let the happy family have some privacy that they need. They haven't told Piper yet, who seemed to want to keep them there forever, despite the fact that they would still argue when it came to certain things around the household.
"Do you think someone's talking about us?" Phoebe questioned as it was very rare that they all sneezed at the same time.
"Yeah but who?" Prue questioned with a raised eyebrow, "If it were the demons, then we would be sneezing all the damn time!"
"She has a point," Piper tells her sister as she pours some coffee before turning to stare at them suspiciously. "What are you guy's doing?"
The other two sisters quickly froze, not knowing what to tell her as they wanted to get an apartment first when Wyatt suddenly orbed in the kitchen. The sisters cried out in surprise, although both Prue and Phoebe were relieved to not have to answer Piper's question and instead focus on why the oldest nephew orbed from upstairs without any warning. Piper called for Leo as she picked Wyatt up and frowning down at him in disapproved as both she and Leo had specifically talked with Wyatt about using his magic for personal use.
"How many times have we told you about using your magic for personal use, Wyatt?" Piper scolded just as Leo walked in with Christopher in his arms.
Wyatt merely stared at his mother worriedly, "Family. Help."
"What does that even mean?" Prue questioned softly.
Phoebe nods, "Yeah, he's been saying that a lot lately. And it's not us because we're all here and don't need help."
"Do you think it could be dad?" Piper questioned softly, looking to Prue cautiously.
"We would have heard something if it had something to do with him," Prue said with a shake of her head. "Besides, the last time he needed help, he reached out the two of you."
Phoebe frowns and moves towards her nephew, "Who needs help, Wyatt? Which family member needs help?"
As she reached out to touch his hand, Phoebe gasped as she received a premonition. It was quick flashes of images but she was unable to grasp them and pulled back to see that Wyatt's blue eyes were even brighter and had to wonder if he had done something to stop her from seeing the images. However, her thoughts then went to how her nephew was able to stop her when premonitions are hardly ever stopped unless by a powerful spell or magic and as far as they all knew, there has been no powerful witch to come after them just yet.
Just as that thought passed through her mind, everyone stopped what they were doing as dust blew over them all. Trent lowered himself from the ceiling and sighed as he gave them new memories for the moment. He didn't like to use the memory dust but it was effective in situations like this and wondered if he should tell his charge about Wyatt not being affected by the spell she had created them. At least, not that much as Phoebe did see images but they were just too quick for her to grasp them to make any sense.
He orbed out before the moment settled and the adults blinked while both Wyatt and Chris looked up towards the ceiling, almost as if he knew what had just happened. The adults, however, shook their heads and looked down at Wyatt, who smiled at them, almost at peace before wanting to get down from his mother's arms.
"Why do I have the sense that there's some sort of secret that he's keeping from us?" Prue asked with a frown.
Christopher laughs at this with a wide smile, seeming to find her question amused and the adults didn't seem to like the idea of not knowing what was going on with the children. "Let's just get them breakfast and move on, shall we?" Piper suggested, moving towards the stove to start cooking.
Phoebe, however, couldn't help that there was something missing but wasn't sure what it was and hoped that it wasn't important. She looked over to see that Prue had taken hold of the newspaper and gives her a curt nod before announcing that she was going to work. The younger sister nods and smiles over at Piper, asking if she needed any help as she walked to the island to keep herself busy and not spill any secrets that will give her and Prue away to what they were just doing.
Throughout the morning, Phoebe couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. It almost reminded her of when Tempus had created a time loop by Inspector Rodriguez–which the sister never found out what type of demon he was in the first place!–but the day was not déjà vu, not yet, anyway. She helped Piper out at the club while also babysitting the boys, who were on the floor playing with their toys or drawing, trying to steer the conversation from what she could have seen this morning.
It's been almost quiet around their lives when it comes to demons, they still have their battles like when they first have gotten their powers but it doesn't mean that they're not always plotting against them. The youngest sibling figured it had something to do with her nephew and his powers that had started right when he was in Piper's womb! So, it's possible that they could have been attacked by demons without their knowledge and they were killed thanks to Wyatt. Her eyes automatically went over to her nephew's and critically looked over them, wondering if she would be able to get some sort of premonition but decided against it as it would seem like personal gain…somewhat.
By the time that Leo came back from helping his other Charges, Phoebe went with him and his kids back to the house as she wanted to do some research on her own and without having to be careful of what she said around Piper and about her and Prue's idea of getting an apartment. She was on her laptop continuing the search when the feeling of something out of place continued to nag her mind. Unable to concentrate much longer, Phoebe decided to head up to the attic for the Book of Shadows and see if there was a way to figure out this feeling and hoped that it wasn't another time loop because she wouldn't be able to take that again.
Once she was in the room, however, the witch had gone over to a chest instead and opened it to look inside, something telling her that she needed to look through it rather than looking through the Book of Shadows. She shifted through the pictures and knick-knacks inside until she came across the family tree. Grinning, she looked it over, seeing the names of her sisters and her nephews before eyes went over all the names in generations taking back to the original witch to have all three powers, Melinda Warren. Then her eyes, however, automatically moved towards the cousin's that lived during the twenties in the manor and couldn't help but take a look at the P. Bowen, feeling that something was missing from there.
Shaking her head and the confusion, Phoebe moved it to the side and saw a familiar letter that was left for her and her sisters when Grams had died. They never did find out who it was that the letter belonged to, none of them knew of someone with the initials V.A.B. and even Leo was confused as to who the letter might belong to. There was also a trace of magic left behind but the spells and scrying that she and her sisters had tried to find out who wrote the letter didn't work as the crystal and the spells kept reverting back to the manor.
She was also hoping that she would get a premonition by touching the letter–again–but as usual, nothing happened and the youngest Halliwell was disappointed once again. With a sigh, she returned the letter and the family tree back into the trunk and closed it, drumming her fingers on top of the lid as she looked towards the stand in which the Book of Shadows sat on top of. She had to wonder if it even was worth going through it but decided against it as she would rather go back to searching for apartments for her and Prue. As she returned to her room, Prue called her to let her know that she might have found a perfect apartment that was affordable and they had an appointment to take a look at it.
Phoebe noticed that it was near Fisherman's Wharf and had to wonder how her sister could have found an apartment for cheap at such a popular area. After calling for a cab, she grabbed her purse and sunglasses and walked downstairs to let Leo know that she was leaving. He was suspicious of her and where she was going but forgot about it as Christopher wanted his attention, giving Phoebe enough time to get away and towards the cab that had just stopped in front of the manor. Grateful for not having so much traffic, Phoebe looked up the building, which was decent enough then at the area around to see it was a one-way street and slightly busy, other was it was nice.
Prue walked out of the building, calling for her, the youngest witch nodding and following her sister inside where they met a woman in a sharp skirt suit and heels. She let Prue do all the talking as they took the elevator to the fifteenth floor, noting that the two were familiar with each other and had to wonder how they had met–with the way the woman talked and dressed, it's possible they met at Buckland, where Prue used to work. Phoebe also heard that it was a condo that they were being shown, not an apartment, and had to wonder how the payments were so damn cheap.
Walking down the hall, the woman opened the door on the left and let the sisters walk in first to see a spacious modern kitchen to the right and a living room in the front. As they near the middle, they saw a hallway on the left hand with four doors–one straight ahead, two on the left-hand side and one on the right–Phoebe walked down the hallway and opened the first door on the left to see it was a bathroom.
The door next to it was a bedroom, which she assumed to be the smaller one as there was not a lot of space and would suit her better as she didn't have as many items as Prue did, but she certainly loved the view of the city from the many windows that were in the room. Walking back out, she opened the door in the middle and saw that it was extra closet space, making the fourth door to be the other bedroom. Walking in, it was definitely larger and had its own bathroom, which would be the reason why it was on the right-hand side.
"Seeing as I'm the oldest, I get dibs on this bedroom," Prue said with a teasing grin.
Phoebe merely grins and walks towards the windows, seeing the beautiful view of Fisherman Wharf and the bay after that. "I don't mind having the smaller room," she told her older sister softly. "I like my view better, anyways."
The sister's stared out of the view for a while longer until Prue turned and leaned her hip against the windowsill, crossing her arms, "So, what do you think?"
"I think that your friend from Buckland did a great job in getting a good apartment for a decent price," Phoebe told her honestly, tilting her head to her sister with a large grin. "When can we move in?"
Nearly forty-five minutes later, the sisters walked to Prue's car with a set of keys to their brand new apartment. The sisters were giddy to finally have their own place and couldn't wait to give their married sister and her family space and privacy that they desperately needed. As Prue started driving, Phoebe thought about what they would do with the Book of Shadows, seeing as they were now going to be separated by miles and they can't just barge into the Manor without giving the family a heads up! It was something they would need to think and talk about as sisters before Prue and Phoebe move out completely.
"Let's stop by Chinatown, we need to stock up on some potion ingredients," Phoebe suddenly said.
Having nothing better to do, the eldest Halliwell shrugs and heads in the direction of Chinatown, grateful that it wasn't rush hour so parking would be good, despite the tourist that was going to be around. It didn't take them long to get all that they needed and were putting their purchases in the car when Phoebe suddenly stopped and frowned at someone that looked oddly familiar. Prue, having realized that her sister stopped answering her, walked around the car to look in the direction she was looking at, frowning in confusion.
"What do you see?"
Phoebe shakes her head, "Someone familiar from four years ago." she stated softly before walking after them, "And he knew Grams and some girl she used to babysit!"
Prue frowned after her sister, rushing to meet up with her, "Wait, what? Grams never babysat!"
"She did, while we were all at work!" Phoebe looks over to her, "Why do you think she always asked us for our work schedule?"
The wheels on the older sister started to turn as she thought back to four years ago as she continued to follow after Phoebe, not able to realize the suspicious signs from the very start. The two of them walked for about eight minutes, stopping at the light whenever they had to cross and keeping a distance from the man Phoebe seemed to recognize and not the Asian couple and their children that were with him. She had pointed him out to her sister before they stopped at the first crossing, the sisters grateful for the tourists for once as they were able to hide from them and not be noticed whenever the man did look around them.
Actually, the man seemed a bit premature as he seemed to be a college kid, really! Prue did have to admit, however, even for a kid, he was handsome as hell and wouldn't mind taking pictures of him. They suddenly reached Union Square and as much as they were trying to keep up with him and the Asian family, the crowd suddenly seemed to be against them and the sisters were pushing their way through almost roughly. As they neared the Dewey Monument, however, they had stopped in front of it and looked around the thinning crowd, realizing that they just lost the group.
"Where the hell did they go?" Phoebe demanded confusedly.
Prue was looking around too, shaking her head as she slapped her hands against her sides, "It's like they vanished into thin air!"
As they were looking around them, they failed to notice that the base where wording of what Admiral George Dewey and his squadron had done at Manila Bay was slowly rippling until it stilled and became solid once more. Phoebe groans and looks towards Prue, who was shaking her head, having lost the man that was the only link they had to their Grams and possibly the answers that they were looking for.
"Are you sure it's the same kid?" Prue questioned in confusion.
Phoebe frowns at her sister, "Yes, I'm sure! Prue, the kid had such a unique looking face that he looked almost…model-like and I would never forget such a face like his!"
No, Phoebe was adamant in finding out who the kids were and now that she lived close by, she figured that she would probably hang out around the area until she sees the boy again. There was still unanswered questions for that day and for them to not come by the house after Grams had died says a lot about these two having known something that the sisters did not. The one thing that really did puzzle the youngest witch, however, was that even the briefest that she had been near the two, despite the situation that they were in, Phoebe had felt…well, she felt like they were family and that they were home.

A/N: Sorry for the long wait. I started working at my corporate office so I haven't had time to really write and I got stuck towards the end of this chapter. Hopefully it came out better than what I just re-read to make sure that everything wasn't misspelled or bad grammar lol! Let me know what you guy's think. Thanks for the read!
