Chapter 10 - Jedi Mind Tricks

GUYS! I HAVE EXCITING NEWS FOR YOU! Eventhough ts bit of a bad news for me. So Something happened betweent the Education Ministry and the teachers and the teachers began a strike, which has been going for more than 2 weeks now. Since this all online classes have stopped, and also due to this 3rd wave if the pandemic all exams were postponed and my exam is now in November. So i can continue to post chapters till early September. However, there is catch, once i stop at early september, i won't be able to update till November. this can change however with further postponement as these are really frustrating times. This is bad news for me as i have to endure this torture till November. Anyway, i posted chapter 10 where you see Luke in action for the first time.

"So.. Anakin, Is Senator Amidala Pregnant as of now?" asked Obi Wan.
"What?" Asked Anakin almost choked at the drink he was sipping.
"I didn't mean to intrude in your personal life, I just wanted to figure our Luke's age, that's all. We cpuld possibly find out how much time we have before the Sith actually take over the galaxy to act accordingly" Obi wan Justified.
Anakin looked at Senator Amidala, who was on a comm call with some senator. "No, not that I know as of right now master." Said Anakin. Obi wan Sighed and nodded.
"alright, everyone take their seats, we shall resume the Holovid" said Kit Fisto.
"At last! Master Luke's come to rescue me." Says C3PO
"Master." Bib calls to Jabba.
Jabba awakens with a start and Bib continues, in Huttese.
"...Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight." Says Bib.
"I told you not to admit him." Says Jabba in huttese.
"Somone is a bit scared of the Jedi" says Ahsoka.
"He should not to mess with the Jedi, if he remembers the clone wars we are fighting" Says Anakin, still a bit angry at the way leia is treated.
"I must be allowed to speak." Says Luke
"He must be allowed to speak." Repeats Bib.
"He is trained in the force enough to use mind tricks on people" compliments Obi wan.
Anakin looks at Luke "That's my son" he thinks with a smile.
Jabba, furious, clobbers Bib and shoves him away.
"You weak-minded fool! He's using an old Jedi mind trick." Yells Jabba in huttese.
"Yep, it seems he remembers the Jedi" Says Ahsoka.
Luke stares hard at Jabba.
"You will bring Captain Solo and the Wookiee to me." Says Luke.
"uh oh, that's not gonna work" says Depa Bilaba
"No! Luke, it doesn't work on Hutts, you need to have an alternative" Anakin instinctively yells at his son. The rest of the Jedi just looks at him and stays silent, understanding his situation.
"Your mind powers will not work on me, boy." Says Jabba
"Nevertheless, I'm taking Captain Solo and his friends. You can either
profit by this... or be destroyed! It's your choice. But I warn you not
to underestimate my powers." Replies Luke
"There you go, His boasting attitude and his overconfidence does not suite for a Jedi" says Windu.
"Well, you can't Judge a person unless you get to know him better, don't judge him based on me!" Retorts Anakin Angrily.
"What Anakin tries to say is that we don't know much about Luke as of yet ,and I believe we should wait for more of the story to unravel before jumping to conclusions" states obi wan, quickly intercepting to stop another argument.
Anakin Sighs and turn back toward the screen.
"Anakin, please stay calm, you already in trouble for the relationship with the senator, your impulsiveness isn't gonna do you any good" Whispered Obiwan.
"I understand Master" says Anakin.
Jabba's laugh is mean and loud. Threepio attempts to warn Luke about the pit.
"This is gonna be bad" Says Ahsoka
Anakin too felt the same, he had a gut feeling that things are gonna go horribly wrong soon.
"Master Luke, you're standing on..." Says C3PO only to get cut by Jabba.
"There will be no bargain, young Jedi. I shall enjoy watching you die." He says. Luke reaches out, and a pistol jumps out of a guard's holster and flies
into Luke's hand. The bewildered guard grabs for it as Jabba raises his hand.
"Bascka!" Yells Jabba
The floor suddenly drops away, sending Luke and the hapless guard into
the pit. The pistol goes off, blasting a hole in the ceiling. Jabba
laughs and his courtiers join in. Leia starts forward but is restrained
by a human guard- Lando, recognizable behind his mask. She looks at
him and he shakes his head "no."
"NO! LUKE!" Both Padme and Anakin Jump off their seats in shock.
The rest of the Jedi too were concerned about Luke at this point.
"That's Where Jabba keeps the Rancor! If it is still alive, Luke's gonna be in really big trouble!" says Anakin.
Padme bursts out sobbing hearing this.
"I think its too hasty to make conclusions on this as well, we must see what's gonna happen. Don't Worry Anakin" Says Obi Wan putting a hand on Anakin's shoulder and gently pulling him back to the seat.
Anakin nodded. What would he ever do without Obi Wan and Padme?
RANCOR PIT
Luke and the guard have dropped twenty-five feet from a chute into the
dungeonlike cage. Luke gets to his feet as the guard yells hysterically
for help. A crowd gathers up around the edge of the pit as the door in
the side of the pit starts to RUMBLE open. The guard screams in panic.
Luke looks calmly around for a means of escape.
"Oh, no! The Rancor!" Says C3PO
"Damn it! The Rancor's still there!, and Luke doesn't have his light saber" Says Anakin, Fear for his son evident in his voice.
Padme sobs even louder.
At the side of the pit, an iron door rumbles upward and a giant, fanged
RANCOR emerges. The guard runs to the side of the pit and tries
futilely to scramble to the top. The hideous beast closes in on him.
Alright! thats a wrap for this chapter. i will drop at least 2 or 3 chapters more all the way until mid september. Also I saw the guy MMM73181 lamenting in the reviews, so he can rest assured there are some more chapters coming soon, i'll try my best to get to the Jabba's death scene before i finish, so when i return i could just start with Endor.
