-Previously-
His ears were deaf by the blasted music. Sweat, hard breaths, and a headache corrupted him as he jumped up and down with the crowd to the music. He grabbed the beer in his hand and raised it to his mouth, drinking the rest of it sloppily. He gasped and clumsily grinned at the girl who pulled him away from the crowd and pushed him up against a wall. The next thing he knew, it was morning.
-Izuku's nightmare-
"We're going on an adventure! Yayy!" Squealing, running away. "Izuku honey, wait for your mother!" The car doors slam. "Buckle yourself." Check the review mirror. "Behave." Her beautiful smile. "I love you, mommy, I love you, daddy." His ensuring eyes. "We love you too, baby." Traffic's heavy. "Izuku, honey-" The light turns green. "Watch out!" His head hurt. "Somebody help!"
Everything goes black.
"Report of a nasty villain, erupting from underground!" Police cars, shouting. "There's a kid in there!" Her body falling in the sky. "He's on the move!" "NO-!" He reaches out, grasping for anything to try and help, but nothing works. "I- I-" Quick breaths, blurry visions. "Two civilians are in the villain's grasp!" She's right there, she's right there! N-no, dad!
"Kai Chisaki is now known as the villain!"
Try and grasp her hand, why is everybody telling him to leave his parents? They're gonna- No! NO! 'I can save them, I can save them!' The police officer keeps holding me back, let me go! "Calm down, Izuku!" 'N-NO! I need to save them! I'm not leaving without-' In the air.
"HE HAS THE KID AS A HOSTAGE!" Fear rustling through the whole body. "Don't do anything to the-"
"Izuku, damnit - wake up!"
"Who's there?!" His hand trembles. The streets were suddenly abandoned while he was left alone by himself. His heart stuttered with fear as he looked around in the street, seeing no one. But who had called his name?
Fwoosh "Izuku, listen to me -"
There's that voice again!
Izuku turns around, the voice still warm against his ear. The sky turns grey and it starts pouring. Then there was a scream, a piercing scream that sent shivers down Izuku's back. 'It's coming from behind me.' His hands shook as he slowly turns around, but as his eyes adjust to the dark - his heart stutters with fear.
"It's not real, fight it!" The voice urges him, but how do they know? They're not here!
His hand reaches out as he tries to step forwards to save the female body, HIS mother's body, but something pulls him back and he's left screaming for his mother. The sound of the body hitting the cement left ringing in his ears, left him to be haunted as he watches with a dull look as the car with his father in it, falls and explodes on the ground.
"N-NO!" Izuku gets free of the grasp on himself and tries to run over to his mother, he regrets seeing how she looks. Her messy green hair sprawled out beneath her bruised and bloodied body while her eyes were wide, struck with horror.
Izuku stopped, his ears ringing. A headache emerges; His vision is fucked and he could barely breathe.
"Izuku! It's Bakugo-"
-Reality-
His eyes snapped open. His mouth opens as he felt something hot on his face. He reaches up and touches his face. He's crying. Frowning, he realizes that he's in a room. It's dark. His eyes glanced back up, his mind still phased by the event. He raised his hand and stared at it in front of him. Was it an event or was it a dream?
Wait ... didn't someone wake him up?
His heart stuttered as he snapped his attention back to where he was. Looking in front of him, he saw a peek of sunlight through the curtains. There, laid streaks of blonde hair on Bakugo Kasuki's head. Izuku was still crying but still phased by the nightmare. Izuku reached out for and found a pair of arms. He quickly pulls them into a hug as he buries his head in their shoulders.
-With Bakugo-
"I didn't know I could find you up here." A voice greeted Bakugo as they sat beside him. It was around midnight the same day from earlier of Izuku's tremor. He clenched his teeth as he stared out from the balcony - staring at the sunset. The wind wasn't harsh, but it was deathly cold, but thanks to Bakugo's quirk, he was always warm and didn't have a need to put a jacket on unless he didn't like the weather, and even then - he doesn't complain.
Bakugo's hands were wrapped around the bars of the walls as he laid his feet through the bars and sat on the cement ground the balcony had. Behind him to the right and left were a chair and a mini table. Bakugo sniffed and scoffed at the air. "Winter." He muttered under his breath.
"Are you ok, Bakugo?" The light voice set.
Bakugo turned his head and stared at Mina who was sitting beside him .. on a balcony from his bedroom? What the fuck? He sighed and looked away. "I'm fine." He replied softly, shifting in his position.
Mina scoffed and turned away. "Clearly-"
"You got something to say?" Bakugo snapped his head towards her - with a little smile.
Mina shrugged. "Well, you don't seem to be in a good mood."
"I'm not."
"What's bugging you?"
Bakugo clenched his teeth. "Just an off day." He wishes he could tell Mina that Izuku woke him up at 5 am, in morning, but he couldn't. He couldn't tell her about his anxiety, about his trama, about Izuku's trauma or Kirishima's fight with him or maybe the fact that Izuku's friend, Angela, had threatened him in the bathroom before she left and everyone was passed out.
He shuddered a breath.
It doesn't help that he's failing school because he's been working so much.
Mina frowned. "Bakugo, I'm your friend." She raised her hand and placed it on his shoulder. "You should never doubt that I would tell anyone what you tell me. I'm in the bakugsquad, I'm loyal to you."
Bakugo raised his head and stared at her in the face with an exhausted look. "I don't know how to tell you everything." He whispered. "I'm tired of the drama, of the trouble the comes every corner, every day, every week. I'm not ok with Kirishima - we broke up. Izuku and I kissed, but this morning I woke up with him screaming for help and when I get there, he's crying and reaching outstanding in front of his head; His face was struck with the most unbearable horror I can't even imagine a-and-" His ramble stopped and he tore his gaze from Mina. "-My grades are failing, I'm overpowered with work, I haven't said hello to my mother in months and I'm getting drunk right self-centred and somehow- fucking somehow I-I-" He stares down at his hands confused and angry. "I end up nose to nose with fucking Izuku Midoriya!"
His eyes flashed up to Mina. "I don't hate the guy. Everyone thinks that I do, but the truth is, I've loved him ever since I was 4 and that damn nerd always ends up being in my head!"
Mina's eyes widened as her mouth dropped. "Y-you l-like D-Deku?!" Her voice went up in a shriek.
Bakugo narrowed his eyes at her. "I dare you to say it louder." He growled.
Mina's mouth popped closed with a smile as she took her hands off the rails and covered her mouth. "You like Midoriya." She whispered, raising her eyebrows up and down.
Bakugo glared at her. "If you tell anyone I swear to god I will-"
Mina popped up her index finger. "Ah- you can't say that. You went to anger management." Bakugo closed his mouth. He turned his head away and stared at the no longer sun but stars. "Oh, I didn-"
"Save it." Bakugo interrupted. "I'm going to bed. Get out please." He scooted back and got on his feet and walked towards the door. He opened it and turned to her. She looked back and sighed. When she was gone, he shut the door, locked it and closed his patio door. Bakugo turned off the lights, closed the curtains and went to bed.
-Memory-
"You're not gonna talk about it?"
"I'm not talking about it!" Izuku snapped, slamming the door behind him, in Bakugo's face. Bakugo clicked his tongue and re-opened the door and chased after him, closing the door behind him instead of slamming it.
"It happened in front of me and you terrified the fuck out of the both of us!" Bakugo protested back. "We're gonna fucking talk about it whether you want alcohol in it or not."
Izuku paused and looked back at the blonde. "Alcohol?"
"Alcohol." He points to the fridge. "I had some ordered today and it's in the fridge."
Izuku paused, frowning. He looked over at the fridge and back at Bakugo. "Then you go get it."
Bakugo scoffed and shrugged his shoulders. "Ok?" He walked over to the fridge and opened the door. He bent down and grabbed two cases of beer in one hand and another pack in his right. He closed the door with his butt and walked over to Izuku.
"Room and living room-"
"Room."
Bakugo's heart sped up as he turned with the cases of beer towards the younger boy's room. He set the cases down on the floor beside the bean bag chair and Izuku's bed. Bakugo grunted as he turned and sat down in the bean bag chair. He watched as Izuku trailed behind him and walked into the room and sat on his bed. He grabbed a beer from the case and went into his pocket and took out the beer opener. He popped open the beer and passed it to Bakugo.
After chugging one beer and chugging another beef and a half, Izuku coughed and exhaled, whipping his mouth and turning towards Bakugo. "Ok, let's talk."
Bakugo's eyes narrowed confused. "Are you even gonna take this serious nerd?"
Izuku shrugged. "I'd prefer if I was somewhat not sober to talk about this sort of shit. So let's get on with it and fuck off."
"Ok, King Izuku, why do you have tremours?"
Izuku spat out the sip he was taking. He tensed and his eyes flashed to Bakugo's. "Don't like going soft do ya, Bakugo?" His eyes narrowed and he ran his tongue over his teeth. With the tattoo, piercings, the way he dressed, and the black hair? He's completely different.
Bakugo now wears glasses and he's a bit different from the past, but since Izuku's here, it's hard not returning to the old Bakugo.
"I have what doctors say, PTSD." Izuku yawned. "My family and I were going on a trip to L.A, when at the traffic lights going off of a freeway, came a villain from fucking underground beneath and store beside us." He turned his face away. "And our car got stuck."
-Flashback-
'H-HELP' 'HELP MY BABY BOY!'
-End Of Flashback-
Bakugo watched Izuku shudder in fear. His heart sped up when Izuku opened his mouth. "The villain came after a car and he threw it at us. Our car flipped and we ended up on the ground. The police station was right there so immediately one came to my aid and helped me out but I was so dazed on what was happening before I know it, my mother is being thrown on the ground and stepped on, her eyes on me, and my car being raised in the villain's hand and eating my father." Izuku shook his head, shrugging. "I-I don't know man, how does one come out fine like that?"
Bakugo shrugged back. "Get yourself some good friends. Heal. Go do college or whatever you're going for. Date who you want to date. Be who you want to be."
Izuku stared at Bakugo with a little smile. "You have changed haven't you?"
Bakugo's face dropped. "Fuck off."
