Nathan didn't know what happened but as soon as the boy lunged he disappeared in black mist. It was the years of spars with General Fitzgerald that made him realize what the boy had done.

Shadow manipulation.

It was with the ease that the boy had done it with made him realize that the boy had been capable of doing it beforehand. His eyes widened with realization.

Potter had been holding back!

Before he could speak he felt someone grabbing his ankles and pulling him down with gargantuan force. He grunted in pain as he was pulled down the deck. He was pulled down and only his head was on the deck. He touched both of his ankles and winced.

Broken and dislocated. The boy had super-human strength if the punches he had taken before were anything to go by.

He heard the grunts, yells and the occasional screams of his men. He was pulled up and smacked down to the floor making another crack in the wooden floor. He looked up to see the highly amused face of Potter. He snarled and stood up despite his body's overwhelming pain.

He took out his daggers and swirled them around in a motion to look threatening. The boy looked amused but didn't speak opting to take a fighting position without reaching for his weapons.

Chase snorted when Nathan swirled his daggers in an attempt to look threatening. While it would have been successful if it was anybody else but not on him.

He slashed twice in succession and Chase moved back twice. He jumped the third slash aimed towards his legs. He put his right leg on the extended hand and kicked Nathan in the face with his other leg.

The man grunted and before he could attack Nathan disappeared from in front of him. Chase rolled his eyes as he faded away from view appearing where Nathan's illusion once stood.

His eyes landed on Nathan who looked dumbfounded and Chase rolled his eyes as he charged forth and put his right leg on the man's chest and kicked him with his other leg on the chin.

Nathan stood up rubbing his chin all the while snarling at him.

The man stood up muttering words and was covered in a pale purple color. In front of Chase two more Nathan were made.

The one on Nathan's right was purple in color, his clothes to his body color, and the one on the left was yellow.

Magical Constructs.

They were made purely of magic and the spells for it were discovered in the 1400s. The spell allowed the person to create a duplicate with the same intelligence as their casters but were submissive in nature only doing what their maker or master told them what to do and were capable of mental communication similar to, yet not the same, telepathy with their masters.

Chase ducked the punch thrown by Yellow, the yellow Nathan and jumped from the Purple's kick.

He gasped in pain as a curse hit him in the chest by the real Nathan. He looked up and was grateful his eyesight wasn't affected. His bones weren't cracked or broken. He did look surprised when he looked up.

There were about a total of 15 Nathans of which one was the original, two constructs and the remaining were illusions their colors yellow and .

Illusions were usually tricky. They could be usually tricky when the person was having a concussion or was trying to cause a distraction. But in this situation it was completely useless.

He closed his eyes as focused on the soundwaves. He could feel the illusions, which were detected by magically enhanced senses. He snapped open his eyes and his legs were set on fire, literally, as it burned a brilliant white. He charged forth completely sure that the wooden floor of the ship was burning.

He dashed towards the original yellow construct as he ran through three illusions dissolving them. He kicked the yellow construct on the side of the head and the abdomen. The head was separated and sent soring into the lake. He sensed a few illusions, most probably the yellow ones, vanish.

He didn't stop there and instead faded from view.

He reappeared next to the Purple construct repeating the process which surprisingly enough worked. He once more faded from view and appeared in front of Nathan who was gritting his teeth in hatred and anger.

The man snarled, the three illusions which remained disappeared, as he whipped out his wand and screamed," Avada Kedavra!"

He scoffed as he dodged the curse and faded and appeared next to Nathan punching him in chest followed by another in the stomach and ending with hitting him on the head. He kicked him on the jaw hearing the distinct sound of breaking.

He snarled as he decided to end it. Nathan had made him spend a year in absolute hell. He was going to make him feel the same way. His hands burned with raw magic and fire. He pulled his arms back and-

He was shocked when several knifes embedded Nathan's body. He put down his arm as he looked around. His face took an angered and hate-filled look when Ilene came flying towards him glaring.

He waved his hand as all the bodies except Nathan's disappeared and looked at himself. His uniform was charred because of the fire he was using. He looked back at Ilene who was glaring at him.

It was clear she didn't like what he had done.

Ilene groaned as she followed Harrison back towards his room. His Durmstrang school uniform was burned. The multiple broken parts of the ship and the lack of injuries gave Harrison away.

She had been there since the moment Nathan had conjured the illusions. She had seen Harrison's use of his abilities namely inferno summoning, echolocation, super strength and speed. She entered his room as he stripped down to his boxers and turned towards her his amusement shining clearly in his now glamour-less eyes.

She huffed as she cast basic diagnosis of injuries finding nothing. She quickly pointed her arms towards his eyes reapplying the glamour giving him, again, hollow black eyes.

She finally put her hands on her hips and said," You went all out."

Harrison shrugged as he started wearing his clothes. Ilene glared at him and yelled," You weren't supposed to go all out. What if they figured out what rituals you have gone through and if Commander D-"

Harrison cut her off," Dead men tell no tales."

Ilene paused slightly as she heard the underlying fury in his voice. Usually Harrison had a better grip of his emotions. Ilene huffed and said," What if they had visual monitoring charms or a camera?"

Harrison turned out holding his suit in one hand with a deadpan look. She had to wince herself a moment later after she said that. Harrison's paranoia was second to only war veterans or old mercenaries but that was only barely.

The ring on his finger was proof of it, crafted by Harrison himself, detector for potions or bogey traps in a radius of 4.5 meters, it also detected whether an item was cursed or not and finally also provided immunity from many spells or wards of dark magic. The disillusionment added to his prowess and paranoia for staying hidden.

But nevertheless she didn't back down and instead said," The point is that they might know Nathan is dead since the charms wore off when he died. What will you do now?"

Harrison shrugged and said," I don't know."

Ilene looked bewildered. It was unusual that Harrison was without a plan and she was-

"Can you repair this?"

Ilene looked at Harrison, his voice still cold, who held his charred uniform. Ilene huffed angrily and said," I'm not your house-elf. Find someone else."

Harrison shrugged and said," Get me these."

The parchment conjured in her hands and she nodded. Harrison gave her a deadpan look and she huffed knowing she had contradicted herself.

She had no choice! Reggie while efficient didn't have subtlety to get what Harrison needed. He couldn't go himself because he was always in the middle of the job. That left her always getting item from the best because of her subtlety and her good contacts.

She shook her head and said," What happens if they get to know that you're the one who has done that to Nathan."

Harrison snorted," Technically you're the one who summoned the daggers. So-"

Ilene snapped at him," You know what I mean."

Harrison turned to her his pants on, his shirt on and coat in his hand. He said," Actually I don't. Enlighten me."

Ilene finally saw. His eyes with glamour still gave the fury and hatred in his eyes. She shivered as she finally understood the gravity of the situation she was in.

She had killed Nathan.

She had killed Nathan and not Harrison.

Nathan was Harrison's prey not hers. Harrison hated scavengers.

His hand moved, faster than any mercenary, hoping to catch her but Ilene was faster. Before his hand could reach or the wards could take effect crippling her. She disappeared in a pink light.

The last thing she heard was the animalistic growl of Harrison.

Sofia yawned as she opened her door to go to the Great Hall. She blinked her eyes and she nodded to Chase standing outside her door. She made her way towards the deck of the ship and froze.

She whirled around to see Chase and she barely stopped her jaw from dropping. He was in a black shirt and black suit. He didn't have a tie but it added to his appeal and she had to fight the blush that threatened to overtake her face.

She blinked furiously and asked," W-Why are you wearing that suit?"

Parchment conjured in her hand and she sighed as she looked at it.

My uniform got burned.

She looked at him blankly and he shrugged. She groaned, it was too early to deal with her bodyguard.

She went towards the hall and sat down as a cup of coffee materialized on the table she grabbed it.

She felt more awake three minutes later, she looked back to her guard who looked amused and she glared at him which proceeded to make him even more amused.

She focused back on the table as she grabbed food for her. She saw from the corner of her eyes that someone sat down in front of her.

She looked up to see two blondes, one had platinum blonde hair while the other had honey blonde hair. Sofia went back to her food just as one of them spoke," Good to meet you, Ms. Kaiser."

She groaned silently and looked up the one with the platinum blonde hair spoke up," I am Heiress Estella Malfoy of house Malfoy and this…" Estella points towards the honey blonde, "Is Heiress Daphne Greengrass of House Greengrass."

She swallowed her food and drawled out," Pleasure."

They looked at her with a synced eyebrow raise clearly showing they weren't impressed. She leaned back as she took another sip of coffee and spoke up," Now I am assuming that you want to make an alliance because of who my father is and what my mother does. Am I right so far?"

The two nodded and she continued," Now if your friend Heiress Greengrass would've approached me, I might have said yes but Heiress Malfoy your brother makes a poor impression and I don't think I want to deal with him ever after this tournament is over."

She smiled at them and their twitching eyebrows gave away their annoyance and said," Now why don't we discuss this later at someplace more private?"

The two nodded and grabbed food from near them and Sofia felt her own eyebrows twitching. She had expected them to go away but they had decided to sit there and she couldn't say anything. She took a deep breath and finished her coffee and grabbed Chase's arm and dragged him towards the ship's library.

She really wanted to get a head start in alchemy.

Amelia Bones, coughed as she sat in her family library as she devoured books after books. She was alone and the elves were busy working. A bottle of whiskey and a glass was kept on the table.

Ever since she had gotten the note she hadn't been able to think properly and her health and magic were deteriorating at a slow but steady rate.

It was a bit too much and as such she had been forced to take a leave till the 29th of October. She didn't know who the magic belonged to or where it was cast. She literally had no idea about that note.

On the other hand, her magic recognized it. She didn't know what it was but one of her vows had been put into effect and she had no idea which one it was.

And as much as she knew about magical vows or oaths, none had such effects.

She had been through almost 15 books on vows and oaths. She took another sip of her whiskey and grabbed another book. She skimmed through the oaths and vows she had read in the previous books until she arrived on the Godparent Oaths.

She quickly began reading.

Godparent Oath- These oaths are among the strictest oaths second to only the Unbreakable Vow.

A godparent is to take care of a child if the parents are unable to. But if they too don't take care of the child after swearing such an oath. If the oath isn't honored in 7 years, the conditions aren't important, the repercussions will be severe. They are listed as follows-

The health of the person will degrade throughout the course of 3 years.

The person magic will be completely depleted in the course of 3 years.

As soon as the third year kicks in, the person would be permanently on bedrest.

The only way to prevent this is to either reconcile with the godchild or break the bond with the consent of the godchild.

Amelia eyes widened and she downed her glass of whiskey as the realization set inside her.

Harry Potter was in Britain.

She sighed as she downed another glass of whiskey. Her days were numbered and her only hope was to find her godson and she had no fucking idea where to begin.

12:00AM, 26th October 1994, Undisclosed Location

The Commander of Nightmares wasn't pleased. General Nathan Grave was late. It was an extraction mission, get the girl and get out and if any guards incapacitate them.

Even then he didn't understand what took the man so long. He stood looking around as his five of his six Generals trained.

General William Fitzgerald, Master of Dark Arts and Shadow Magic.

General Winston Timber, Master of Rituals and Ice Magic.

General Skylar Walls, Master of Transfiguration and Battle Magic.

General Timothy Clay, Master of Mind Arts and Astral Magic.

General Zachery Cain, Master of Fire Magic and Soul Magic.

The Commander sighed as he wondered what happened to General Nathan Master of Illusions and Magical Construct. Nathan was exceptionally good at extraction missions as it vault of the Malfoys back in 1976. So, the question arises as to what happened that took General Nathan so long. He sighed and looked down where General Fitzgerald and Timber sparred.

Fitzgerald blocked Timber's attack and pins him down to the ground only for Timber to put him down. He frowned when he saw a grunt running towards the Generals. The man yelled something which made the Generals alarmed. They immediately ran out of the room which in turn made him alarmed.

He frowned and tightened his grip on his cane. The cane was made from an old yew tree imbued with magic which prevented it from growing old. The top was made from goblin-wrought silver shaped in the form of a wolf's head and had two blood red rubies as its eyes.

He made his way quickly towards the ground floor. As soon as he reached down just as the Generals came from in front of him. In the middle which connected to all directions laid a single bloody naked body with the face down.

The Generals inspected it and then kicked it to revel the front. Many grunts and even some of the Generals were shocked. The body had multiple cuts and bruises and from what scans he had done, broken bones. And in the body's forehead were words which no one except him, The Commander, could read.

The body was Nathan's as it was blatantly obvious from the dead blue eyes of his. But it wasn't that which shocked him. The words were. The language it was written in.

Eye for Eye

It was blatantly obvious what it meant. Sofia Kaiser was out of his reach as long as she had the protection of this person. What was more concerning was that this man would be coming towards his organization. After all there were only three speakers of Parsel-tongue. Him being one and Potter girl being another. He cursed out loud," Fuck!"

Lord Voldemort was an enemy of Nightmares.

He screamed to the heavens above disregarding the men and generals of his organization.

"FUCK!"
