Good Evening,
I hope you guys enjoy the chapter.
Oxford Not Brogues
Chapter Four
Allison was tucked away in Seras' old four poster bed fast asleep, much to the mother's relief. Seras had an incredibly hard time falling asleep after the talk she had this morning with her daughter. She kept hearing her daughter scream how much she hated Alucard and Sebastian, her fathers, because they were monsters. What was Seras going to do? She was desperate for her daughter to get along with her fathers. Would Allison ever come to love them? What if she didn't? Would Seras continue to force her daughter to spend time with her fathers or would she eventually have to give up and force Alucard and Sebastian to stop talking to Allison? That wouldn't be very fair to her mentors. They wanted to be a part of Allison's life. They wanted to be her father and to be given the chance to show their love. But how could they do that when their daughter resented them? How could they do that when Allison will always hate them instead of love them? Would Alucard and Sebastian stick around if Allison continued to show this kind of hostile behavior towards them?
These are the thoughts that kept Seras up as she laid there in her open coffin. The poor mother was staring up at the ceiling and repeatedly combing her fingers through her hair. She was tired, even though she did get a bit of sleep, but not a lot. So many different scenarios raced through her head instead of sweet dreams. With those scenarios, Seras kept imagining different things she would or could say to her daughter in hope to change her mind. But she didn't think the three year old would listen to her. Seras came to find that toddlers were stubborn little creatures that only listened to adults when they were only interested in listening. Allison was intelligent for a three year old, but she was just as stubborn as the rest of her age group. Sometimes it was quite frustrating, but somehow, Seras always found the patience around it…Or at least most of the time she did. Last night was definitely a tipping point for the mother.
She just couldn't believe what her daughter had said. She hated Alucard and Sebastian? Hearing that had completely shocked her, following that was a moment of anger. How could her daughter hate someone? Seras just couldn't wrap her head around it. She never showed such emotions when around her daughter. She never used the word 'hate', so why did Allison? Seras was aware that her daughter feared Alucard and Sebastian, but hate of all things? It was such a strong word, especially coming from their daughter. Seras was convinced that Allison didn't actually hate Alucard and Sebastian. She believed that the toddler didn't really understand the meaning of the word or the dire consequences that could follow. There's no possible way Allison could understand how much she hurt Alucard and Sebastian by saying those words? Then again, even Seras didn't know how hard those words impacted her mentors. Usually, nothing ever bothered them. So did the words of a three year old actually sting? She was unsure.
But even if it didn't bother Alucard and Sebastian, it bothered Seras a great deal that Allison would say that. She thought she had raised her better than that. The Draculina groaned softly under breath as her hand came down to cover her eyes. And so, the original question is raised once more. What was she going to do so Allison gets along with Alucard and Sebastian? The only solution Seras could come up with is forcing Alice to spend time with them. Maybe if she sees on her own that Alucard and Sebastian aren't that scary and won't hurt her, she will warm up to them at her own pace. Seras was positive that her mentors would be patient with Allison; after all, they craved for the toddler's trust and love. But for right now, she didn't want to worry or think about it. She had kept herself awake for most of the day thinking about it and she just wanted a couple of minutes to herself. Unfortunately, she could feel that the sun was starting to set so she didn't think she would be able to get anymore sleep in. But, thank god, it was her day off so she didn't have to worry about any missions or any other orders from Sir Integra. Climbing out of her coffin, Seras decided that she wanted to start her night with a lovely, hot shower. She should be able to take one now while her daughter was asleep. Or, at least, she was hoping that she would be able to and that her daughter stayed asleep. And if the little girl did wake up, hopefully she'll have the decency to give her mother privacy and to stay put.
The little vampire quietly walked around her room, getting stuff from the dresser and then clothes from her wardrobe. She tip toed around her room, trying her best to be as quiet as a church mouse. Eventually, she was able to make it into the bathroom without disturbing the toddler. Thank god. Neatly, the mother set out her clothes on the vanity in the order she'll need them. And then she undressed, shedding off her uniform that will definitely need to be cleaned after last night's mission and training session. She had wanted to shower and change last night, but wasn't given much of a chance plus she had been extremely exhausted. Bed had been the only thing on her mind. Throwing every article of clothing in the empty hamper, Seras was finally able to get into her lukewarm shower. Instantly she could feel her stress melt away with the water. She forgot everything outside of the bathroom and just focused on this small moment of peace and tranquility, something she rarely got.
Seras breathed in the steamy air before releasing a cool breath from her mouth. She ran her fingers through the wet strands of her hair, gingerly pulling because her fingers got stuck on hidden knots. But even that didn't bother her. She was completely relaxed at the moment. Seras took her own sweet time in the shower. She shampooed her hair, lathering it up real nice before rinsing away all the suds. When her hair was squeaky clean and free of knots, she worked on washing the rest of her body. This part was even slower. She was trying to milk her time as much as she could because she couldn't find the desire to leave her safe haven, the shower, so soon. However, her time alone in the shower was interrupted, shockingly, not by her toddler, but by someone else.
You're up early, Police Girl. Alucard purred within the depths of her mind. Automatically, the Draculina's eyes flickered open to stare at the wall of her shower.
I had a hard time falling back asleep. Seras whispered an answer as her eyes fell to watch the water drain out of the tub.
If you were having trouble relaxing, then you should have come to see Michaelis and me. We would have relieved all of your stress in a matter of seconds. Her master snickered and she could just picture that proud toothy grin on his face right now.
"Master," Seras whispered out loud before she bashfully started covering herself. She wrapped her arms around her body as she nervously looked all around her. She was used to Alucard popping in and out of her head, but…could he see her right now? In case he was looking through her very eyes at the moment, Seras kept her gaze up, making sure to not look directly at her naked body.
Do you need help relaxing still, Police Girl? Alucard whispered sensually. The little vampire jumped when she felt hands on her. Yet, she knew the hands weren't actually there. Looking down, she confirmed that the hands weren't here on her body. But yet, she could feel them explicitly on her shoulders. I could be of assistance.
"Master," Seras whispered again. Her face heated with a blush and her body trembled from his words. Was he serious?
We are lovers now, Seras. Her master reminded her gently, still using that soft, sensual voice to ease her. She could practically feel his hot breath on the back of her neck, despite him not actually being there. She figured he was in his room sitting on his throne. Perhaps he was watching her through her eyes and using his powers. But he wasn't actually there with her in the shower. I know you're nervous so allow me to ease you into it. The blush on her cheeks darkened and she dug her teeth into her bottom lip. For a brief moment, she forgot that Alucard and Sebastian wanted her to become their lover again. She forgot that later tonight she will meet up with them and...have sex with them after three long years. Excitement shot through her petite body, starting at the pit of her stomach and working up to her racing heart. Alucard chuckled when sensing his Childe's moment of exhilaration.
What do you say, Police Girl? Do you want a taste of what's to come? A quick stress reliever until we meet later? Her master's alluring voice came again. The little vampire jumped again when she felt a second set of hands on her. Once more, Seras glanced down to see if the hands were real or not, but she saw nothing on her waist. Sometimes Alucard's powers really freaked her out. Apparently he was able to grow multiple appendages? Though, she supposed it shouldn't be all that shocking because he was able to manipulate his shadows and form tendrils. How was that any different from this? They were just taking on a different shape was all.
Okay, The shy blonde whispered before closing her eyes, submitting completely to her Sire. This time, the Draculina tried to keep from jumping when a third set of hands were touching her body. These ones appeared on her thighs, but they were quicker to caress up and down her smooth legs, feeling her up. The hands on her shoulders slid down her chest to full on grope her breasts. Seras softly gasped when she could undoubtedly feel every finger that dug carefully into her breasts. Curiously, the little vampire glanced down. She expected to see her skin shape around those invisible fingers, but there was nothing. There was no indication at all that she was being felt up by invisible hands. But it sure as hell felt like it! The set of hands on her waist caressed over her stomach and hips in slow circular motions, trying to help soothe and stimulate her simultaneously.
"Master," Seras breathed as she pulled back her head, allowing the gentle spray of water to hit her bare throat. She could feel the water beads caress over her master's old bite marks on her throat that would remain there forever, claiming her as his fledgling. The hands on her legs finally moved in to caress her inner thighs and tease the poor girl. She willingly parted her legs, allowing those hands to stroke up and down her sensitive inner thighs. Her lashes shut over eyes as she gave another low moan. Those hands were ever so familiar. She could definitely recognize them as the touch of her master. She remembered the way he touched her those three years ago. How gentle he was, which was surprising since she had seen him time and time again kill with those hands. But, when it came to her, those hands were soft, loving, and ginger when they came in contact with her…except during their training exercises, but that was beside the point.
The hands on her inner thighs inched their way up, heading slowly to her intimate area. Seras' breathing became raspy the more Alucard teased her. Her body flinched from the sensitivity with every small touch. Finally, his fingers reached their destination. The small blonde tensed up when she felt those invisible fingers brush lightly over her clit. She anxiously licked over her dry lips as she waited semi patiently for Alucard to continue. Pressure was added to her clit and then her master went into a ginger rhythm. Seras gave another moan as he circled her clit with two or three fingers.
Master, The little vampire whispered while gentle waves of pleasure washed over her body.
How does it feel? Alucard purred before the hands on her breasts tightened their grip. His fledgling jumped slightly and whimpered from the action.
It feels good. She whispered as she gave another moan that was louder than the others. She heard her master cackle in amusement.
Quiet yourself, Draculina, or others could hear. The elder vampire ordered. One of the hands on her waist moved up to cup her mouth, keeping her silent.
I'm sorry. Seras apologized absently as her body lightly writhed under the spray of water. The more he touched her the more she came undone. She was needy and aching for more pleasure. His pace quickened, but only by a little. The little vampire moaned again, but this time it was muffled by his hand. It feels so good, Master. She repeated in a whimper. Her hips involuntarily thrusted forward in need.
I can tell. Alucard purred softly. I've barely touched you and you're coming undone completely. You must have been craving for another's touch for so very long. Do you never touch yourself? His Draculina blushed fiercely from that question.
Um…She murmured unintelligibly, earning a deep cackle from her master. I guess…there's no harm…in telling you the truth…since…we're lovers now.
Precisely, Police Girl. The elder vampire responded. The girl gulped nervously before speaking.
I only…touch myself…while I'm in heat, but that's only because the need to be touched is so damn maddening! Seras was quick to try and defend herself. Her face was growing redder by the second. I normally don't touch myself, Master, because I think it's weird and…kind of dirty.
Dirty? Her master breathed, the word sounding so sinister coming from him. She could just see that wide grin on his face right now. Do you feel guilty whenever you touch yourself, Police Girl? It sounded mocking to her. Was he mocking her? Was he getting a good laugh out of his Childe's innocence towards the situation?
Sometimes, Seras murmured lowly, embarrassed by the conversation that they were having. His fingers had stopped moving over her clit for quite some time now. It was frustrating that he wasn't touching her! She wanted it so badly, but didn't dare say a word to her master about it. Who was she to order him around? She was his fledgling.
How precious, Alucard chuckled to himself. But yet you continue to commit these dirty acts because it feels good. A deep purr sounded from her master as his fingers caressed over her little pearl again. Tell me, do you feel dirty when I touch you?
Master! Seras exclaimed from the embarrassing question he asked.
Do you? He whispered. The Draculina drove her teeth deep into her bottom lip. His fingers pressed harder against her clit as he started to rub faster. The little vampire closed her eyes tightly as the pleasure intensified within her trembling body. Answer me, Police Girl. Her master demanded in a deep tone.
No, His fledgling answered in a whisper, surprising them both from this answer.
No? Alucard repeated softly. The grin had been completely wiped from his face as he blinked stupidly at nothing in particular.
No, Seras whispered once more. I find it…exciting. Your…touch…excites me, Master. The girl smiled bashfully then. And…I'm not talking about right now. I mean…all the time. Whenever we…make… physical contact, I get so excited. You make my heart race. Quite suddenly, those invisible hands that covered her body threw her back against the shower wall. Seras let out a startled cry as her head knocked hard into the wall and bounced forward. Within seconds, she was restrained against the wall by multiple hands that she couldn't see, only feel. She didn't bother to fight her master, especially when the hands touching her lady parts were suddenly two fingers deep inside her. Seras closed her eyes tightly as her body arched from the intrusion. It had been so long since she had last been penetrated. The sensation was so familiar and so strange at the same time. But feeling those fingers inside of her, striking deep, made her realize how badly she missed it all.
Master! Seras screamed his name as he fingered her hard. She tried parting her legs for those fingers, but her feet kept slipping on the slippery wet floor. Thankfully, the hands kept her pinned to the wall so she didn't fall. When the girl couldn't succeed parting her legs for her master's mystical fingers, extra hands appeared and pulled her legs apart for him. M-Master! Seras breathed. The Draculina was panting hard and moaning uncontrollably, but it was all muffled by one of Alucard's many hands. She was grateful for that because she didn't think she would be able to stop on her own. If it wasn't for him, she probably would have waked Allison long ago.
I can you hear your heart pounding from where I sit. Alucard hissed lowly as he violated her. You do speak the truth. Fingers combed through her hair while the hands on her chest groped her so hard that she actually felt like her breasts would pop from the abuse. All those other hands caressed up and down her body, going over every curve and surface. She even felt a couple grasp her ass playfully. You have no idea how turned on I am right now, Draculina. How arousing it is to see you so hot and bothered when I am not even in the room touching you. It makes me wonder how much you'll writhe and cry when Michaelis and I do get ahold of you.
M-M-Master! Seras whimpered when her stomach tightened further. She lightly shook her head as she breathed and panted heavily. Master!
I enjoy the sounds you make. Keep calling for me. Alucard breathed before chuckling softly. Keep calling for your master. He purred.
Master, I'm…I'm going to come, Master! The Draculina exclaimed. The elder vampire cackled when hearing his fledgling's sweet cries of need.
Then come, Police Girl. Come hard for your sire. Her master demanded in a whisper. Seras gave a sharp moan as her body convulsed from a powerful orgasm. Her eyes were shut tightly and her legs just about gave out from under her. She moaned loudly, the sound reverberating off the walls of the small shower.
Master, Seras whined when she felt the aftermath of it all. The ecstasy stayed with her for a few seconds longer. It pulsed through her entire body, seemingly going in time with the beating of her racing heart. The girl had an extraordinarily difficult time catching her breath, but she didn't really notice. Her head reeled; she was unable to comprehend anything. For a moment, she forgot where she was completely.
Seras, Alucard whispered her name, sounding like the proud master he was. She felt a finger stroke over her cheek tenderly. Finish cleaning up and do what you need to do. When you find that you're free contact me and I'll inform you where we'll be meeting up with Michaelis. It took Seras a long few seconds to answer her master.
"Y-yes, Master." The little vampire whispered through pants. Not long, those invisible hands were gone from her body and she was left slumped on her shower wall.
I hope I didn't wear you out already. Her master chuckled before he was gone from her mind. Seras groaned in exhaustion before she lowered herself onto her knees. She needed a moment or two to collect herself and then she will wash her sins away in the clean, hot water.
Seras emerged from the bathroom fifteen minutes later fully dried and dressed. Since it was her night off, she was able to relax a little and wear casual clothing. The little vampire wore a simple pair of old blue jeans and an old long sleeved grey top. The Draculina was relieved to find that her daughter was still fast asleep. Good, she hadn't heard a thing! Seras thought with ease and she released a sigh of relief. The toddler had gone to bed rather late this morning so it made sense to the mother why the girl slept on. But the girl had to get up at some point and Seras chose to do it now. The young mother walked towards her offspring, knelt down beside the bed, and gingerly shook her daughter's shoulder.
"Hey, little troublemaker, it's time to wake up." Seras spoke gingerly while giving a warm, welcoming smile. Allison groaned in what sounded to be disappointment. The toddler raised her hands to tiredly rub over her face, but she refused to open her eyes. The Draculina had learned early on that Alice hated to wake up and would sometimes be crabby from being woken up. Seras couldn't help but wonder if she got that little trait from Alucard. She herself was never like that. Seras had always been an early riser. Of course, she did have an occasional nap, but she could honestly say she never got snippy from having to be woken up. If she was allowed to, Alice probably would have slept the night and day away. The mother merely shook her head at her child and tried again. "Hey," Seras chuckled as she poked her daughter in her ribs. "I'm talking to you, Alley cat." It was a nickname she gave to Allison when she was only a few days old.
"Mum," The toddler whined and she finally opened her eyes to give her mother an annoyed look. "I was sleeping." She sighed afterwards, frustrated that her mother kept waking her up.
"It's six in the evening." Seras gently lectured her. "You've been asleep for fourteen hours. It's time to get up."
"I wish the days were longer so I could sleep for longer." Allison murmured to herself before she forced herself to sit up in bed. The three year old groaned softly as she stretched out her stiff limbs. Her black hair was tousled from her sleep, looking like a bird had been nesting in it. Seras snickered in amusement and grabbed the brush that was on the nightstand.
"Hold still," Her mother chuckled as she gingerly took her daughter by the arm. She ran the brush through her daughter's hair, going slowly and carefully so she wouldn't pull from all the knots that were in it. Alice sat there patiently and watched her mother with a look of interest in her eyes.
"Can you braid my hair later, Mummy?" The toddler asked and her red eyes flickered down to watch the brush go through her long hair. By now, all the knots had been carefully removed, leaving her hair nice, straight, and silky looking.
"You don't want to braid it now?" Seras questioned her and she cocked her head to the side. The three year old lightly shook her head while giving a negative hum.
"No," The child answered as she grabbed her toy fox from beside her and hugged him to her chest. "I want to play."
"You always want to play." The mother snickered. She lowered the brush while her other hand came up to comb her fingers through her daughter's pretty hair. "There are things you have to do before you can run off and play, Alley cat."
"Like what?" Allison grumbled and she pouted out her lip.
"Well, first, you should probably get dressed, drink your blood, and brush your teeth." Seras told her carefully. "And then we'll have a short lesson. We can work on your colors."
"I know my colors." Her daughter was quick to interrupt.
"Oh, really?" The small blonde asked in a sarcastic tone. Her daughter nodded her head.
"Really!" Alice exclaimed. Suddenly, her mother bolted to her feet.
"We'll see about that." Seras responded as she set the brush back down on the nightstand. Afterwards, she turned on her heel and headed towards the bookcase. From one of the shelves, her mother grabbed a thin book and returned to the bed. "Okay, troublemaker." The Draculina purred as she knelt back down beside the bed and opened the book to set it down in front of her daughter. On the first two pages were images of a whole bunch of colors. "Which one is green," Allison barely took a second to think about it. She automatically pointed at the green splotch on the page.
"That one!" The child answered.
"Blue?" Her mother asked.
"Like the color of your eyes?" Allison snickered in a cocky tone. She then pointed towards the color blue on the page. "That one!"
"Brown?" Seras asked. The three year old paused and she blinked stupidly at the page.
"Brown?" She repeated. She kept her finger hovering over the page as she carefully looked over each color. Her brows furrowed and she studied really hard. "Um…" She drawled. "Let's see," Going from left to right she named all the colors out loud. "Red, yellow, green, purple, blue, grey, black…" Allison then stopped for a moment and looked at the next color. Hesitantly, she placed her finger on the color splotch. "Brown?" Uncertain if she was right or not, the daughter glanced up at her mother. "The last two colors are orange and white. So…this one has to be brown, right?" Seras nodded her head.
"Yes, that one is brown." Her mother purred with a proud look in her eyes. "Alright, so you know most of your colors. But can you tell me how many colors are on this page?" The toddler looked back at the book. Placing her finger on the page, she counted out the color splotches out loud.
"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten…" Alice answered. Once more, her mother nodded her head in approval.
"Very good," Seras praised her with a warm smile. Turning the page, the mother began her daughter's next lesson. "How many cats are on the page?" The little girl counted softly to herself, pointing to each cat, and then held up four fingers.
"Four," She answered.
"And what colors are they?" The mother asked as she watched her daughter carefully.
"Yellow, orange, brown, and black." The toddler answered as she pointed at each cat once more.
"God, you're smart." Seras chuckled to herself. Alice giggled at her mother's praise and she beamed up at her.
"I told you that I know my colors, Mummy!" The child exclaimed happily.
"Alright, you proved me wrong." Seras purred, even though she had tricked her daughter into having a color and counting lesson. She shut the book and set it off to the side. "Why don't you find something to wear and I'll help you put it on, alright? Then we can have our blood."
"Then can I play?" Allison asked. Giving it a moment of thought, Seras ended up nodding her head.
"I'll probably be at training with Alucard and Sebastian by then, so you can play in the foyer, but as long as you're quiet and stay out of the way." The mother instructed her child, earning a nod from the little girl. "And later, I want you to spend time with your fathers." Instantly, the smile fell from the toddler's face and she pouted out her lip.
"Do I have to?" The child asked in a groan.
"Yes," Seras said in a strict tone.
"But why? I haven't had to spend time with them before. Why do I have to now?" Alice asked, looking more and more upset by the second. She was hugging her fox to her body tightly, but she wasn't comforted at all by the stuffed toy.
"They're your fathers." The mother reminded her. "They love you and want to be a part of your life. And you will not be rude, missy. I better not hear that you said foul things to them like you did last night."
"What if I don't like spending time with them? Can I stop then?" Her daughter asked as she continued to pout on top of the bed.
"No," Seras answered and she wagged her finger at the little girl. Alice blew air out of her mouth from that unfortunate response. "I want you to try and get along with them."
"Fine," The little girl drawled in an annoyed tone and she rolled her eyes.
"Go find an outfit." The mother repeated herself for the second and last time.
"I want to wear a dress." The toddler announced as she carefully tried climbing down off of the bed. When her feet met with the floor, she spun around and sprinted over to the wardrobe. Alice normally ever liked to wear a dress and for one reason: it was the only thing she could put on all by herself. She got frustrated whenever her mother tried helping her put on a shirt or pants. But when it came to a dress Alice knew how to dress herself!
"Find a dress then." Seras muttered with a wave of her hand. The weary mother of a sassy toddler walked over to the antique table and started pulling out blood bags from the ice bucket.
"I want to wear that one!" Alice exclaimed as she jumped up and down and pointed at the dress.
"Which one?" The mother asked as she glanced over at her excited child.
"The blue one!" Her daughter responded.
"It's called navy blue when it's that dark, hon." Seras answered as she walked over to the wardrobe to assist her daughter.
"Navy blue," The toddler repeated to test it out while her mother grabbed the dress from the wardrobe.
"Do you want tights or stockings today?" The mother asked as she handed the dress off to the three year old. Allison was already in the process of setting her nightgown on the floor.
"Stockings!" Allison exclaimed as she took the dress from her mother and slipped it on with ease. As soon as she was dressed, the little girl raced over to the dresser and pulled open the bottom drawer to grab a pair of stockings.
"Pick your nightgown up off the floor after you get your stockings on." Seras lectured her daughter lightly as she returned to the table to get the blood bags ready.
"Yes, Mummy." The girl mumbled as she fell back onto her bum and focused intently on pulling up her stockings. The Draculina ripped open the top of one of the blood bags and poured the dark red liquid into a glass. Allison was still so young and had a hard time biting into a bag to drink the blood. It was a little difficult for the toddler to drink from a glass since she had the tendency of accidentally dropping it from time to time. But Seras just simply gave her daughter a straw so she wouldn't have to struggle lifting a glass that was too big for her small hands. Alice jumped up from her spot on the floor and raced back over to where she had dropped her nightgown.
"Just place it on the bed." Seras instructed her and her daughter did as she was told. It was clear to Seras that the child was eager to eat and didn't want to waste any time. When the toddler was finished, she raced over to the table and climbed up onto a chair across from her mother. The Draculina set the glass down in front of her daughter.
"Thank you," The little girl muttered as she propped up onto her knees, leaned forward, and wrapped her lips around the straw. Seras knew for a fact that her daughter had Alucard's appetite. Seriously, that girl could consume multiple bags of blood in only a few minutes. Of course, Seras tried to prevent her daughter from overeating like that, but somehow, that little troublemaker always found a way to sneak a bag past her mother. The small blonde lightly shook her head at her daughter who slurped her blood up as quickly as possible. Sighing at her child's craving for blood, the mother sat down in her own chair. She watched her daughter carefully as she took up a bag of her own.
"Slow down, young lady." Seras spoke in a strict tone before she sunk her fangs into her blood bag. Allison sat back on her heels and licked over her lips hungrily.
"But it's good," Alice responded. Seras had to disagree however. The blood bags were disgusting because they were cold and stale. It always left a bad taste in the Draculina's mouth. But her daughter grew up drinking straight from the bag. She had no idea what the taste of hot blood was like and Seras was not eager to introduce it to her. God help every human if her daughter tasted blood that was actually far more delicious and nourishing than what was given to them.
Slow down, Seras repeated herself.
"Fine," Alice grumbled as she rested her head in her hand and stared glumly at her half empty glass of blood. The small blonde sucked up the last bit of blood and then dropped the empty bag down on the table in front of her. The little girl clicked her tongue in frustration. "You drank your blood fast. How come I can't?"
"I didn't drink mine fast." The mother corrected her daughter.
"Yes, you did." Her daughter argued.
"Allison, I'm bigger than you." Seras reminded her. "I can take larger gulps than you can." She then pointed towards the child's glass. "Stop arguing and drink your blood slowly." The child clicked her tongue for a final time and went back to drinking her blood. The mother watched her daughter for a moment or two to be sure that the girl wouldn't go back to drinking her blood like a savage. When she was satisfied that her daughter would obey, Seras got up from her seat. She walked across the room to grab a dark purple throw blanket from the foot of the bed. "What kind of toys do you want to play with?" She asked as she picked Alice's toy fox up off of the floor.
"Blocks!" Alice exclaimed with a look of excitement in her eyes. Seras nodded her head and walked over to grab a small box of colorful building blocks. "And my Barbie dolls!" From Allison's toy chest, the mother took out two Barbie dolls and placed them in the building blocks box with the blanket. "Can I take my firetruck too?" The little girl asked nervously, wondering if her mother would be mad at her for taking out all these toys at once.
"As long as you don't use the siren, it will be fine." Seras responded with another nod while she grabbed the small truck from the toy box as well. The child smiled so widely and giggled to herself.
"I promise!" Alice vowed to her mother.
"Allison, I'm serious. You're going to be playing in the foyer. The siren on your firetruck is loud and distracting. It would be rude if you kept the siren on." The Draculina lightly lectured her daughter. The smile slipped from Alice's face.
"I'm not going to play with the siren, Mum. I just want to play with the truck." Her daughter promised once more. "Why can't I play in here anyway?" A blush was so quick to spread across her mother's cheeks. Seras walked over with the box full of toys and set it down on the table before clearing her throat nervously.
"I'm going…to train with Alucard and Sebastian. I think it would be best if you played in the foyer, that way Walter can keep the occasional eye on you." Seras muttered, looking so very uncomfortable.
"But…" Alice whispered in confusion. "I don't understand. I've played by myself in here while you trained with your master. Why do I have to play in the foyer while you train today?"
"I thought you liked playing in the foyer." The Draculina was quick to change the subject.
"I do." Her daughter answered with a sharp nod of her head. A bright smile returned to the child's face. "There's lots of room to play in there!" Seras gave her daughter a look of disapproval.
"I don't want you running about, Allison." The mother told her sternly. "You are to stay on the blanket and play nicely and quietly." She demanded as she gestured at the purple blanket. "Is that understood?" The smile didn't slip from her daughter's face. Alice slurped up blood from the straw as she gave a small nod of her head. "When you're finished, brush your teeth." An adorable laugh escaped the toddler. She smiled so widely to proudly show off her baby fangs.
"You mean these teeth?" Alice purred before she snapped her teeth, trying to mimic a vicious animal. "I have strong, sharp teeth, Mummy!"
"Yes, but you still need to brush them." Seras laughed as she walked around the table towards her daughter. "Keep those fangs pearly white." She lifted her daughter out of her seat and set her down on her own two feet. "Go brush them and then you can go play." The child ran off towards the bathroom with her arms held out straight at her sides, pretending that she was a plane. "God help me the day that kid actually learns how to fly as a bat." Seras mumbled to herself while shaking her head. "I won't be able to get her to come down."
Master, Seras then contacted her Sire through their telepathy. She felt his presence submerge in her mind and before he could say anything, she spoke again. I'm just going to set Allison up in the foyer to play and then I can meet up with you and Sebastian.
Why in the foyer? Alucard asked in a purr. Are you afraid she's going to hear something that will 'traumatize' her? Her master cackled deeply at this, causing his fledgling to blush in embarrassment.
Better to be safe than sorry. If her hearing is as good as ours…or yours, really, then I'd rather play it safe. The little vampire answered.
As long as there are no interruptions like last night, then it will be fine. I think seeing it will be far more traumatizing than actually hearing it. He responded. Michaelis and I will meet you in his room. I'm assuming you know where it is. The girl subconsciously nodded her head before remembering that he couldn't see her nodding.
I think so. She murmured.
Go care for our daughter then and we'll see you soon. Her master ended in a purr and then he was gone from her mind. Seras visibly shuddered when hearing him say the words 'our daughter'. He had never spoken those words before and, admittedly, it pleased Seras. She was glad that he was warming up to this whole father thing and saw Alice as his daughter. Maybe things will be different. Maybe Alucard and Sebastian will truly be a part of Alice's life now until the end of time. Now, she just had to get her daughter to warm up to them and that was going to be severely difficult.
"They're brushed, Mummy!" Alice exclaimed as she ran out of the bathroom. She ran right up to her mother and bared her little fangs, trying to prove to her mother that she had indeed brushed them. "Look!" She said and pointed at her teeth. "They're brushed!"
"Very good," Seras nodded her head in approval. She then grabbed the small box of toys her daughter had picked out to play with. "Are you ready to go play then?"
"Yes!" The excited child squealed and threw out her arms.
"Do you promise to behave yourself and to play quietly?" Her mother asked, giving her a stern look. "You know that I'll know if you act up at all, right?" She lied. The smile faltered a little on the child's face. Alice nervously held her hands behind her back as she submissively hung her head.
"Right," She murmured. "I'll be good, I promise."
"If you act up at all you will lose playtime." Seras warned her.
"I won't act up. I swear, Mummy." Alice whispered, hoping her mother would believe her. "I promise to be really good."
"What are you going to do?" Her mother asked to be sure her daughter knew the rules.
"Stay on the purple blanket and play quietly. Oh! And I'm not allowed to turn on the firetruck's siren." Her daughter answered as she lightly moved her hips from side to side as she waited patiently to play.
"What are you not going to do?" Seras asked her.
"Be loud or run around the foyer?" Alice questioned, not knowing the exact answer her mother was looking for.
"Right," Her mother responded with another nod. "If you do as you're told and don't act up, we can watch a movie later tonight." The toddler beamed up at her mother. Such a wide, bright smile spread across her little, round face.
"Really?!" The three year old asked, purely happy about that idea.
"Really," Seras purred. "Any movie you want as long as you behave."
"I promise I'll be good, Mummy! I'll be so good and won't move at all from the blanket!" Alice went on as she followed her mother out of the room like a little duckling. "I'll play with my toys! I'll build a high tower with my blocks! So high it will reach the ceiling! And I'll play with my Barbie dolls! I'll brush their hair and change their outfits! And I'll play with my firetruck! My Barbie dolls can be firewomen! They can fight a large fire!" The child rambled on as they were reaching the top step that opened up to the empty foyer. "I'll also play with my little fox! Maybe I'll brush his fur! He's needs a good brushing! I haven't brushed him in forever, Mum!" The child went on while her mother laid out the blanket in the middle of the large foyer. "But do you know what I won't do?! I won't leave the blanket! Just like you said! And because I will listen, we can watch a movie! Do you know what movie I want to watch with you?! Lilo and Stitch! Do you think the movie store will have Lilo and Stitch to rent, Mummy? I really want to see Lilo and Stitch! It looks funny! Did you know it's about aliens?! Yeah! An alien comes to Earth and a little girl thinks he's a dog! Isn't that funny?!"
"Allison," Seras interrupted, sounding more amused than annoyed by her daughter's rambling. Alice stopped talking to pull back her head and look up at her mother curiously. Her mother bent at the hip and gently wagged her finger at her. "Enough talking, little one." She then playfully tapped the little girl's nose with a warm giggle. The daughter was comforted by that look in her mother's dark blue eyes. It amazed the toddler how it always looked like her mother's eyes were glimmering, reminding her of stars in an ocean. The three year old stood up on her tip toes and placed her little hand on her mother's warm, soft cheek. Seras, pleased by the contact, leaned into her daughter's touch. The Draculina combed her fingers through her daughter's silky black hair. "If you're good, I promise we'll go out later and rent Lilo and Stitch. But right now, I need you to stay here on the blanket and play quietly like a good girl. Alright?"
"Yes!" Alice answered and she nodded her head in agreement.
"Good," Seras whispered and then kissed the top of her daughter's head. "I'll be right back." Before her mother could leave, the three year old latched onto her hand and gently pulled.
"Wait!" Her daughter exclaimed. The Draculina paused to blink stupidly at her daughter.
"What?" She muttered.
"Play patty cake with me first!" Alice begged and she lightly tugged on her mother's hand again.
"Patty cake?" Seras giggled.
"Uh-huh," Her daughter hummed and nodded her head once more. "Please?"
"Sure," Her mother purred with another warm smile. "But only one game, Allison." The mother and daughter sat down across from each other on the blanket. The child seemed pretty hyped to play. She was practically bouncing up and down in her spot and giggling to herself. "You ready?" Seras asked as she held up her hands.
"Yes!" Alice purred as she mimicked her mum. The mother went at a slow pace for her daughter who was still learning the clapping sequence of this little game. Seras gingerly smacked her hands on the top of her lap and her daughter followed the action.
"Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake," The mother chanted the familiar song while the three year old tried mumbling the same chant. Her daughter hesitated with each clap, but Seras was patient with her. If anything she found it funny and charming more than she did annoying; after all, the child was learning the game. It was new to her, unlike for Seras who had played patty cake with her mother on multiple occasions when she was a kid. "Baker's man,"
"Baker's man," Alice repeated a second later than Seras. The toddler stared up at her mother with those large red eyes, watching her movement ever so closely.
"Bake me a cake as fast as you can." Her mother purred causing a wide smile to grow on her daughter's face. Such a sweet laugh came from the toddler before she repeated the lyric. "Pat it and prick it, and mark it with A. Put it in the oven for Ally and me." The child went into a fit of giggling. Seras chuckled with her little one as she interlaced her fingers with her daughter's. "Well done, sweetheart." She praised her. "You're getting so good at that."
"I love playing patty cake with you! Can we play again after your training?" Alice asked.
"Of course," Seras whispered as she leaned in to kiss the top of her daughter's head again. Afterwards, the toddler pounced up to place a quick kiss on her mum's cheek.
"I love you!" The toddler purred before digging through her toy box to start playing.
"I love you, too." The Draculina responded. "Play nicely, darling." And with that, the mother left to go 'train', leaving her daughter alone to her own devices.
