Yoshi and Birdo, Does it matter?

Hello reader! This story is about how Yoshi and Birdo first met. It is intended to be a very sweet and cute story about the couple, while also answering any questions like the transgender stuff or why Birdo was working for Wart. 14. Chapter 14 the end of a legend

(Before I begin, I would like to warn you (whoever is reading) that this chapter will be very sad and emotional. You might just want to skip it. BUT DON'T THINK FOR A SECOND I'M LETTING IT END LIKE THIS!)

(Yoshi is running home with Birdo on his back. When all of a sudden a bomb explodes and a hole opens up. Yoshi falls in the hole but is holding on by some rocks. Birdo is thrown off Yoshi's back.)

Yoshi: "AAAAAAAH"

Birdo: "YOSHI! HANG ON!"

(Birdo rushes over to Yoshi and tries to grab his arm. But her hand isn't long enough.)

Yoshi: "YOSHI CAN'T REACH!"

Birdo: "COME ON! JUST A LITTLE FURTHER!"

(The rock breaks and Yoshi starts falling.)

Yoshi: "GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Birdo: "NOOOO!"

(Birdo launches her tongue out and tries to grab him. Yoshi launches his tongue out and locks on to Birdo's. Birdo pulls him up. While still holding on to his tongue out of fear, with her tongue she tries to talk)

Birdo: "shew! Dat waf cwose!"

(Yoshi is panting. 10 shy guys enter from a pipe.)

SG1: "Looks like the bomb didn't work!"

SG2: "These two are still teenagers! We can take them!"

Birdo: "Yopi. Lisden clothely. Rum awound me! in thircles!"

Yoshi: "Why?"

Birdo: "JUSD PO ID!"

(Yoshi runs around Birdo and Birdo starts spinning. She blows in whatever direction she is facing and vacuums in whatever direction creating a tornado! It sucks in all the shy guys and sends them flying into trees knocking them out!)

Birdo: "YEPH! WE DIP ID!"

Yoshi: "HOOWAY!... uh..."

Birdo: "Thomething wrond Yophi?"

Yoshi: "LED HO!"

(Birdo lets go of Yoshi's tongue.)

Birdo: "Sorry. Me not really remember I even holding tongue" (Thinking: "Well I did but that was an ALMOST MOUTH TO MOUTH CONNECTION!")

Yoshi: "That was the second time Birdo save me... I such a weakling..."

Birdo: "Yoshi! No you not! You not know the bomb was there! So how could you avoid it? That was just a coincidence I saved Yoshi twice. Yoshi will save me one day!"

Yoshi: "Sure I will. Birdo not need it. probably not like a weakling like me anyway."

Birdo: "NO! I LIKE YOU BECAUSE YOSHI IS SO SWEET! YOSHI THE ONLY ONE NOT MAKING FUN OF ME! AND YOU ARE SO CHILDISH! ME KNEW YOSHI WAS WEAK IN THE TICKLING MATCH! THAT'S NOT WHY I LIKE YOSHI! YOU THE BEST FRIEND I EVER HAD!"

(Yoshi smiles.)

Yoshi: "Thanks. I glad Birdo still like me..."

Birdo: "Besides, I couldn't have beat those shy guys without Yoshi!"

Yoshi: "Yeah! We make great team! Just like mama and da-... WHY DIDN'T THEY STOP THEM!? DADDY IS THE STRONGEST YOSHI ON THE ENTIRE ISLAND! HE BEAT BOWSER WHILE BABYSITTING BABY MARIO ALL THOSE YEARS AGO! HOW'D THOSE SHY GUYS GET PAST DADDY!?"

Birdo: "I got bad feeling about this. COME ON!"

(Birdo hops on Yoshi's back and he runs home. But Yoshi was not prepared for what he would find. Soon, Yoshi arrives at his house... to meet King Boo.)

Yoshi: "Mama!? Daddy!? WHERE ARE YOU!?"

(Yoshi goes in the backyard where the tree fell over and finds his parents tied to a tree. Along with King Boo.)

Yoshi: "MAMA PAPA!"

Birdo: "GRRRRRR!"

King Boo: "Well if it isn't the little fake and his boyfriend!?"

Happy: "Yoshi RUN! Get out NOW!"

King Boo: "Better stay put you little runt! Or else both of your parents are DEAD!"

(King boo throws a bomb up and down.)

Yoshi: "Ple-ease n-no hurt them!" (Yoshi is trembling. He is terrified of boos. ESPECIALLY KING BOO!)

King Boo: "Don't think for a second I care about you, you little traitor! I could easily detonate this bomb and they'd be gone IN A FLASH!"

Yoshi: "Ple-ple-ease! L-let them g-o-o... Pl-please!" (Yoshi starts crying.)

Jewel: "Don't worry about us Yoshi! Take Birdo AND RUN!"

Yoshi: "I-I no-no wanna l-lose m-mamam- and d-d-ad-dy."

Birdo: "You may not listen to my boyfriend BUT YOU BETTER LISTEN TO BIRDO!"

King Boo: "Or what? What are you gonna do? Yoshi, your parents can live IF... You abandon Birdo back to Wart!"

Birdo: "WHAT!?"

Yoshi: "NOOOO PLEEEE~EEEASE!"

Happy: "Yoshi LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER AND LEAVE US!"

King Boo: "SILENCE OR I WILL KILL YOSHI TOO! Yoshi, what's your decision!?"

Yoshi: "I n-no wanna!"

King Boo: "Didn't ask if you wanted to or not!"

Birdo: "You can't make Yoshi do that! It not fair!"

King Boo: "I don't play fair! Yoshi answer me NOW!"

Yoshi: "I-I-I-I... N-NO-N"

King Boo: "ANSWER ME! YOU GOT 5 SECONDS!"

Yoshi: "I NO WANT ANYONE TO SUFFER! YOSHI WANNA KEEP BIRDO! AND MAMA AND PAPA! PLEEEEEASE!"

King Boo: "TOO LATE!"

(A bomb blows up and dirt flies all over the place. Yoshi and Birdo fall backwards.)

Birdo: "NOOOOOOOOO!"

(Yoshi sobs and shakes at the same tie. both out of fear and sadness.)

Yoshi: "M-m-ma, d-d-dadddy! WHY!?"

King Boo: "See you later FAKE!"

(King Boo vanishes)

Yoshi: "MAMA DADDY! MAMAAAAAAAA! DADDYYYYYYY~YYYYY!"

(Yoshi runs over to the tree where they were but finds their lifeless bodies. Yoshi shakes his mother and father's bodies. Birdo is walking up behind Yoshi and starts tearing up.)

Yoshi: "Please! PLEASE! NO NO NO! MAMA PAPA! PLEASE! NO NO NO! GET UP! COME ON!"

(Yoshi tries harder and harder to shake them. Eventually giving up beating the ground in front of him. Yoshi lays down in the dirt face down and cries. Birdo sits next to Yoshi crying as well.)

Birdo: "Why every-yone so m-mean?"

(Yoshi is sobbing too hard to respond.)

Birdo: "Th-this is all m-my fault-t... Happy and J-jewel were the sec-cond two nicest Y-yoshis ever! If I n-never met Yoshi n-none of this w-would've happened..."

(Yoshi still can't respond. He tries to say something but is sobbing so hard it sounds like gibberish.)

Yoshi: "I-hI-jnnmn-tsahgnohnhoh! P-lpleahma"

Birdo: "It all m-my fault. I so s-sorry. If I wasn't a stupid swyer this not happen..."

(Birdo's tears fall on Yoshi's back. When Yoshi feels them it makes Yoshi sob harder and scream. Yoshi's thinking: "NO! STOP! IT NOT YOUR FAULT! PLEASE NO CRY!". He tries to say that but still sounds like more random gibberish. Even after just losing his parents, feeling so horrible, he doesn't want Birdo to be sad. Birdo picks Yoshi up off the ground and hugs him. Yoshi cries into Birdo's chest with his head down.)

Birdo: "I so sorry Yoshi. I so sorry! I just a jinx!"

(Yoshi hugs Birdo too and starts to come out of his crying spell. Birdo holds him tighter)

Birdo: "I gonna make it up! ME GONNA GO HUNT DOWN KING BOO AND KILL HIM FOR YOSHI!"

(Birdo lets go of Yoshi and starts walking away. Yoshi with his mind all bonkers at first thinks: "Yeah! Go get him! Get that meanie!... Wait..." Then Yoshi thinks: "Birdo could die too! NO!")

Yoshi: "NO! I N-NOT WA-WANNA L-LOSE B-BIRD-D-O T-TOO!"

(But Birdo is already too far away to hear his scream. Yoshi is too sad to move. His legs feel like stone. Yoshi lays back in the dirt and holds his parents hands as he continues to cry. Birdo continues on to go back to Wart's castle and fight King Boo!)
