Chapter eleven: Size Matters
The audience summoned by the realmcrafter Talespinner69 had just finished watching the tenth episode of the realm were Mineta, once per episode, tries flirting with a different girl in his year of UA's hero course. All episodes have shown Mineta having rotten luck thus far, but the short perverted grape boy is holding out hope that he'll succeed in getting a girl to like him and agree to go out with him.
"Well now, I think we're getting close to the end of this show," Kotaro said from where he and Tale stood in front of the big theater screen, "I mean, we only got three girls left for Mineta in the show to try his luck with."
"And I'm looking forward to seeing how I succeed with one of them," Mineta said, "In fact, I bet that if anything, I'll succeed with the last one! It'll be a nice end to all of this, don't you think?"
"Not for the girl in question if you do somehow succeed with her," Kyoka remarked dryly.
Looking around at the 1-B girls, Izuku noted, "The only ones who haven't gone yet are Tokage, Kodai and Tsunotori."
Shaking a fist in the air, Setsuna said in a challenging manner, "Bring it on, I say! I'll whump that little purple turd right into next week, you'll see!"
"Well aren't you confident in your abilities," Itsuka remarked, a hint of amused dryness in her tone.
"And why the hell wouldn't I be?" Setsuna replied, "I did get into UA on recommendation, after all! I think that I ought to show why I was able to accomplish that in my efforts to give that pervert the boot when he tries to talk the talk with me!"
Yosetsu, with a look of realization on his face, remarked, "Oh yeah, Setsuna's the female student in our class who got in on recommendation."
"I thought that it was Itsuka, to be honest," Nirengeki confessed as he shrugged.
Turning to look at Kotaro, Tale said, "Please tell me you got the next episode ready to play."
"It's ready, alright," Kotaro said as he turned to face the big theater screen with the remote. He pressed a button on the remote to get the screen to start playing the eleventh episode of the current show, with everyone turning front and center to look at the big theater screen.

"Wait, she's next?" Tale remarked with some surprise.
Some of the audience members looked to the realmcrafter with some curiosity. "Is something up with Yui among your kind?" Sekijiro asked.
"Well from what I have gathered, she doesn't have a lot for my kind to work with," Tale admitted, "But I have seen examples that can make good use of her, so this may be one of those."
Rubbing his hands together, Mineta said, "Hoo boy, I can't wait to see how I succeed with Yui." Where she sat in the audience, Yui shuddered in mild discomfort.
It was a well enough morning when Mineta made his way into the kitchen area of the 1-A dorm building, finding Sero, Kaminari, and Kirishima seated at the island counter, having breakfast. "And how are you all this morning?" Mineta asked.
"I had this weird dream where the pro heroes Ryukyu and Mirko had to go undercover for a mission at a movie studio and even had to dress up to maintain their cover," Sero said as he began to explain his dream from the previous night, "Mirko had to disguise herself as an elderly lady who was noted to visit her late husband's grave at the local cemetery every Sunday, and Ryukyu used a fat suit to disguise herself as a 243kg teacher at a special school for children who have autism. They used the necessary prosthetic makeup for their respective disguises and everything."
"Those are surprisingly detailed roles and disguises for a dream," Sero in the audience remarked.
"Sero's dreams in this realm are progressing at the same rate as Kaminari's distractions in terms of complexity," Mina noted.
"Why did I have to disguise myself as an old lady?!" Mirko exclaimed.
"Aww, my character worked with special needs children," Ryukyu said, sounding a bit touched.
Shrugging to Sero's story, Mineta said, "Whatever. Anyway gentlemen, today I shall continue my quest to get cozy with the ladies, and next on my list is class 1-B's Yui Kodai."
The three guys gave Mineta an assortment of quizzical looks. "Yui?" Kirishima said, "Isn't she that girl who can alter the size of inanimate objects?"
"That can let her make things end really badly for you if you aren't careful," Kaminari warned.
Chuckling a bit in amusement, Mineta replied, "Kaminari, my good man, you seem to forget that my middle name is careful. Relax, I got this." Mineta then took off to find Yui and begin the process of making her his girl.
"His middle name in not careful," Kyoka in the audience remarked dryly.
Gesturing to the big screen, Dabi said, "He severely overestimates himself here, especially if one takes into account all of his past failures."
"Well just like the me on screen," Mineta began, "I'm not one to give up when it comes to the ladies!"
...
Later, Mineta was nearing the class 1-B dorm building when he encountered Yui looking like she was on her phone. After she put her phone away, Yui perked up when she heard Mineta call out to her. "Hey Yui," Mineta said, getting Yui to look at him, "How's it hanging, gorgeous?"
Yui said nothing, merely looked at Mineta with a wry eyebrow arched up a bit. Gesturing to himself, Mineta went on in a casually confident and somewhat cocky tone, "You know Yui, I'm actually a pretty big hit with the ladies around here, so if you were in the mood I'd be glad to show you one hell of a good time."
Still saying nothing, Yui instead reached into her bag, pulled out a plastic case that looked like a cassette case for a music tape, and opened it to pull out a pair of yellow plastic drink picks in the shape of swords. Yui then used her quirk on the picks, making them grow to the size of actual swords. Yui then picked her weapons up as her glare at Mineta narrowed a bit.
Mineta, his eyes widening a bit, proceeded to back up and walk away slowly.
"Wow, that's actually pretty neat," Sekijiro in the audience said, "And given how Kodai's quirk works, I can see her doing that for real potentially."
Nudging Aizawa in the arm with his elbow, Hizashi said, "We need to invite her to the next party, Sho. You know, in case one of the guys has too much to drink again."
"If the last few parties we've had are any indication," Aizawa remarked, "It'll probably be you."
...
Later, Mineta tried to work his magic on Yui when she didn't have her bag on her. This saw Mineta spot Yui near a vending machine, talking to her classmates Juzo and Yosetsu. "So as I was saying," Yosetsu said to his classmates, "I don't give a flying fuck what Monoma says about us not 'fraternizing with the enemy' as he puts it." Gesturing to himself, Yosetsu went on, "I still think Yaoyorozu in class 1-A is cute, and I intend to try flirting with her."
"Good luck with that, my good man," Juzo replied, "She's one of those pretty, rich, high society girls, and those tend to require a lot to get them to notice you."
Over where he was standing as he was hearing the conversation, Mineta quietly wondered to himself if he should tell Yosetsu that he (Yosetsu) might have a better chance than he gives himself credit for in regards to Yaoyorozu. Ignoring that idea however, Mineta made his way over to where the trio of class 1-B students were hanging out.
Shooting finger guns at Yui in a flirtatious manner, Mineta said, "Hey Yui, how's it hanging?"
"The hell are you doing here you little bastard?" Yosetsu snapped, "I'm still pissed that you stole my underwear that one time!"
"I wonder how he'd react if he learned that I found said underwear in Yaoyorozu's wardrobe," Mineta in the audience commented.
"The me here would probably be too busy kicking the shit out of you upon realizing that you had been going through Yaoyorozu's wardrobe," Yosetsu replied.
Ignoring Yosetsu, Mineta turned to face Yui as he said, "So Yui, what say you and I ditch the guys here and go-"
*HWABONK*
Mineta was knocked out cold after getting whacked in the back of the head by Yui who was using an oversized 500¥ coin that was roughly the size of a metal trash can lid. After Mineta was knocked out cold, Yui shrunk the coin back to its original size and put it into a pocket on her blazer jacket. At Juzo's suggestion, the 1-B students decided to pick Mineta up, sit him on a chair that was next to the vending machine, let him lean into said machine, then leave him to fend for himself.
...
Mineta didn't awaken until several hours later, but when he did he saw that it was getting a bit late. "I still have time for one more try on Kodai!" Mineta declared as he got up off of the chair and ran to go find Yui.
"So if what all Yui's done hasn't been enough to make Mineta take a hint," Setsuna in the audience began, "What will it take?"
"Oh it will take a lot," Mineta said, "I am very persistent."
Gesturing to the big theater screen, Spinner remarked dryly, "Well that goes without saying."
...
A few minutes later, Mineta found some 1-B students including Yui hanging outside of their dorm building. For Yui herself, she was talking to Kinoko and Itsuka while Kinoko was playing with a remote controlled monster truck toy she had for some odd reason. "Hey ladies," the short grape boy began as he approached the girls, "What's up?"
"The hell do you think you're doing here?" Itsuka demanded, clearly in no mood to deal with the lewd grape boy.
Gesturing to himself, Mineta said, "I'm merely here to offer Yui one hell of a time is all. Where's the problem in that?"
"Hey Mineta," Kinoko said, "Think fast!" At that point, Mineta saw Kinoko drive her remote controlled monster truck toy towards him.
"Oh please," Mineta began in a casual tone, "Like a toy can-" Suddenly, the remote controlled monster truck toy grew to the size of a real monster truck and was still driving right at Mineta. Naturally, Mineta screamed in fright as he proceeded to run away as he was being chased by a life-sized monster truck.
"Holy crap, Yui has been low key awesome this whole time," Togaru in the audience said, clearly surprised with what Yui has been shown being capable of pulling off.
Holding a hand to his chin, Jurota remarked, "Her quirk has proven here to have a lot of applications that, in theory, could work out just fine for real. Being able to change the size of non-living objects has shown to be a dangerous power if one knows how to use it to the fullest extent possible."
Sighing, Mineta said, "Well I should have two more shots left, right?"
...
A few minutes later, Mineta stumbled into the kitchen area of the class 1-A dorm building, found Sero, Kirishima, and Kaminari eating dinner at the island counter. "So how did things with Kodai go?" Sero asked.
"She made a remote controlled monster truck toy go life sized and chase me," Mineta replied sadly as he sat down with the guys, "I guess that is her way of telling me no."
"All of the girls have told you know thus far," Kirishima said, "Don't you think that's a sign that you ought to give up?"
Pointing upwards, Mineta declared, "No, it's a sign that I shouldn't stop until I get a girl to like me!" The other boys all sighed, seeing that Mineta will not be stopped, not until he finally gets a girl to like him.
FIN
"You know, persistence like that, if applied to other endeavors, is very admirable," Hizashi commented.
"Endeavor himself is persistent, but he's not very admirable," Spinner comment, with both Dabi and Todoroki nodding in agreement while Endeavor hung his head in a defeated manner.
Turning to look at Tale, Kotaro remarked, "I get the feeling that things might go on longer here than what we're expecting."
Shrugging, Tale replied, "You know, I get that feeling too."

Well the Yui chapter is done, and although I didn't get much out for her, I'm still satisfied that I was able to get out as much as I was. Anyway, there's only two girls left, so the odds are pretty good one can guess which girl will be next.
