Marinette pov:

I entered inside Mr. Gabriel's office as he called me first thing in the morning.

"I've been waiting for you, Ms. Dupain-cheng" His face was hard to read.

"I'm giving a choice Ms. Marinette, divorce my son or I have no choice but to mess with your parents bakery and your cousin restaurant, Choice is yours after all"

I started sweating hard as I heard those words,

I gulped trying to get rid of the lump in my throat.

"Hurry up" He told as his assistant gave me a pen.

My parents and cousin are important, we can get remarried and have a small wedding.

I signed as natalie gave me a car key and a plane ticket.

"Get out of my son life, how dare you seduce my son to marry you, your just a lowly assistant, Get out" He told as I have no words.

I walked out without a word as adrien's bodyguard showed the way out.

A sob racked through my body as I reached the blue car given by mr.gabriel.

Adrien bodyguard watched me while I wiped my tears. He stuffed a card in my hand.

I looked at it. It's his home address in a village.

"You all want to seperate me from adrien" I tried to control my tears.

"Give the car keys and plane tickets" He snatched it and stuffed it inside his coat pocket.

"Go to my home, my momma would protect you" was all he said before getting inside the car and driving it.

Adrien pov:

I looked for my name board.

"Who are you..." I asked as the person attempted to take my luggage.

"Since your previous bodyguard is in hospital, I'm covering up"

"Take me to the hospital" I rushed out.

I dialled mari as her phone seemed switched off.

I rushed inside the hospital asking about my bodyguard.

"Doctor what happened to him"

"It's a leg injury and some minor injuries, 2 weeks bed rest he'll be alright"

"Can I see him now" I asked as the doctor nodded.

I was about to enter as natalie walked from the other side.

"You are here to see gorilla" I asked as she teared up.

"It's just a leg injury, no worries he'll be alright after rest" I tried to console her.

"Take care of yourself, I'll get going" was all she said before going out.

After talking with gorilla while he just nodded his head, I left to see my princess.

I opened her office door as she went missing.

Here I bought her all these gifts and she's drinking coffee.

I went to pour myself one as the flight exhausted me.

"Mind your tone young man, I discovered what you've been doing with her, sign this divorce paper, she divorced you and I gave her a generous compensation" He slide the papers as I tore it into pieces.

He slapped hard across my face as I stood unaffected.

"I.Don't.Care father, find someone as your heir, I'm not your son anymore, I don't want your stupid inheritance" I walked as he shouted gibberish.

"It's all because of you rich people looking down on middle class like us, if you fail to find my cousin I'll sue you and your spineless father" Bridgette shouted as I waited for a call.

I've been searching her all day and even hired a investigator.

"Where is she" I asked the private investigator as he seemed silent.

"We've found Ms. Dupain-cheng's bag on an accident happened in the morning, the report states due to so much blood lost Ms. Dupain-cheng

died and... the 6 weeks old foetus died along with her"

I went to kitchen to get some water and swallowed the bottle of pills.

As long as I have these tranquilizers, I can see her again.
