Chapter 9: Kids See Ghosts, Part 2
Jolanta and Kwiat then followed Wida to be with her brother, Upio. Kwiat floats down to Jolanta.
"Once I go back to my body, I will show them a world of pain-" Kwiat whispered.
"Hey! They're kids!" Jolanta shouted. "Don't do anything harmful to them!"
"Sorry… It's just… I'm a ghost now!"
"Yeah we can tell." Wida said, interrupting them. "Now, Upio and I were hiding in this alleyway, hiding from the raid that happened recently… We were making a shift from here to our Dad's house, but the raid from that terrible organization caused us to be separated from Rostek… I don't know where he is at, but we need to find them…"
"But was the point of turning my soul into a ghost?!"
"You get to go through walls and scare people."
Upio then revealed himself all of a sudden.
"I see that you have the two girls with us to help find big brother…" Upio said.
"Yes I do." Wida said. "And if they try to lash out on us, use your Stand on them to calm them down, ok?"
"Understood."
"What's going on?" Jolanta asked. "Is your twin brother also a Stand User?"
"Correct." Upio replied. "You'll see my Stand sooner or later…"
Jolanta then took a deep breath.
"So, what's the plan you two want us to follow?" Jolanta asked.
"This plan is simple. We search for Rostek in this area here before the raiders come for us." Wida replied. "And you two should be on your best behavior or else you'll be sorry."
Jolanta and Kwiat were confused, but Kwiat was also nervous.
"And when we are completely done with this plan, then can you bring Kwiat's soul back to her body?" Jolanta asked.
"Yes." Upio replied. "Yes we will."
"Ok, follow me and Upio, you two." Wida said.
The gang was then out of an alleyway and were somewhere in another street.
"Huh… This feels like an abandoned town…" Kwiat said as she started to get the chills.
"Hey, do ghosts get chills?" Jolanta asked.
"I don't even know!"
"Just saying…"
Upio then heard something "Ooing" far away.
"Interesting…" Upio said.
"Interesting indeed." Wida said.
"I don't like this." Kwiat said.
"There's another ghost here?" Jolanta wonders.
Jolanta and Kwiat then both saw Upio and Wida moving their faces to find the ghost sound.
"The fuck are they doing?!" Kwiat shouted.
"Hey! You two are pretty much taking our time!" Jolanta shouted.
"And I think we have enough as well! I'll just go back to my body my way!"
Kwiat then floated away, but was stunned as soon as she stopped at a certain distance. She was then pushed back and stopped next to Jolanta.
"Ugh! What was that?!" Kwiat said.
Upio and Wida turned their attention to Jolanta and Kwiat.
"You two all of a sudden aren't cooperating with us…" Vida said. "Upio, you know what to do?"
"Yes, dear sister…" Upio replied as he walked towards Jolanta. "Silver haired one. Your friend reached the range limit of Kids See Ghosts, which was about 2 meters."
"Two meters?!" Kwiat shouted. "Look, this is stupid!"
"Just take Kwiat back to her body and we'll call it a night! Jolanta shouted. "You two are acting weird!"
"Weird?" Upio said. "Hmm… Looks like someone isn't behaving right…"
Upio's Stand then appeared, which was Kids See Ghosts, but it was different.
"Kids See Ghosts!" Upio shouted.
"Wait wait wait! Your Stand is also named Kids See Ghosts?!" Jolanta shouted.
"Yes… Me and my sister share the same Stand, when one of us takes a turn on using the Stand, it changes forms to showcase different abilities. Both forms are close-ranged and since we're in the same location, Kids See Ghosts will show you it's ability under my control!
Kids See Ghosts under Upio's control then summoned mist around Jolanta's ankles, causing her not to move.
"What the hell?!" Jolanta shouted. "Shit! I can't move! And I can't use Cherry Bomb against that thing, since it's a ghost!"
"Now you will be a ghost like your friend." Upio said. "Steal her soul, Kids See Ghosts!"
Kids See Ghosts was then close to Jolanta.
"AAAAH!" Jolanta yelled.
"Enough you two!" A voice shouted.
"Huh?" Upio said as Kids See Ghosts stops the attack from happening.
"Who's there?" Wida said.
