Chapter 11: Burning Night, Part 1

~7PM~

Rostek slowly opens his eyes.

"Ugh… What happened?" Rostek wonders as he then sees Jolanta, Kwiat as human, Wida and Upio. "Wait…"

Rostek slowly got up and looks at Upio and Wida.

"Wida? Upio? Where were you two?" Rostek asked.

"We were looking for you after the raid separated us." Upio replied.

"Heh… I was looking for you two too… But it doesn't matter, we're all safe now…"

Rostek looks at Kwiat.

"Kwiat…" Rostek said. "Thank God you're also safe…"

"Yep. Still strong." Kwiat said. "By the way, we have someone new with us. Her name is Jolanta Joswiak. She's next to you."

Rostek and Jolanta looked at each other.

"Nice to meet you, Rostek." Jolanta said.

"Hey… Looks like you'll be fighting alongside us." Rostek said.

"I'm part of a team now?"

"Yes."

Rostek got up.

"Basically, I formed this team to try and work our way up to The Bad Blood Organization and take down their leader and save the country." Rostek said. "But it's not gonna be easy since there's more members there than us."

"I see… And Kwiat told me earliest when we first met that there were two members to this small team of our's, right?" Jolanta asked.

"You mean Zegar and Marcelina?"

"Those two, yes." Kwiat replied.

"Yeah. While searching for my younger siblings right here, I also wanted to search for Zegar and Marcelina, but they found me and controlled me to find you two girls and well… Assassinate you."

"How do they know about us?" Jolanta asked. "Let alone, me?"

"I don't know… Anything from your past that might connect to the present?"

"Well… There was that time my mother was killed by some shadowy figure and said something about my mother not being the one to bring hell to Poland or something."

Everyone was silent.

"Hmm… I'm not sure if it's either one of the members or one of the 3 leaders of The Bad Blood Organization…" Rostek said. "Speaking of one of the members, I happen to have one of them dead for what he has done to affect the Gallas family."

"Who would that be?" Kwiat asked.

"Ogi Czerwo. He and I used to go to college together before the raids shut it all down…" Rostek said. "He wanted to be a fireman while I wanted to be a lawyer. They were both difficult jobs, though…"

"What happened to Ogi?" Jolanta asked.

"He was expelled for starting a fire in the college. I luckily stepped up to get everyone out of there… He tried to take me away from those that I saved, but then I punched him away. That wasn't during the time where I obtained my powers as a Stand User though…"

"So the college was burned down?"

"Not all of it…"

"What happened next?"

"Later on, the police were on the hunt for him, but he wasn't anywhere in the area in Kraków I was in…"

"Question!" Kwiat shouted. "What made him affect your family?"

"He incinerated the house my uncle lived in. He was my Dad's brother…"

Rostek was then shocked.

"FUCK! Dad!" Rostek shouted. "Ok, everyone! We're going back to my Dad's house! Follow me!"

Everyone nodded as they all headed back to the neighborhood Rostek's Dad's house was at. When they arrived, they saw a firetruck.

"Wh-What?!" Rostek said. "What's going on?! Let's check it out!

When they arrived somewhere near Rostek's Dad's house, it was on fire.

"GAAAAH!" Rostek shouted. "DAD!"

Rostek then rushed towards the burning house.

"Rostek! Wait!" Kwiat shouted.

Rostek then went inside to see the burning living room of his Dad's house.

"DAD!" Rostek shouted.

"Rostek Gallas…" A Masculine voice said. "You've made it here, finally… But unfortunately…"

Rostek then saw someone walking towards him, revealing Ogi Czerwo himself.

"N-No! IT'S YOU!" Rostek shouted with anger.

"I'm afraid you're a bit late…" Ogi said with an evil smirk.
