Part 9: Star talks to Sanji
At the port town near Coral hills in a building, "Hey I think hes waking up," Camie said getting Choppers attention. They were in a large room in a building with Sanji sleeping on the bed. Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Star and Hermione were sitting in chairs around him.
"Sanji your okay," Chopper said looking relieved.
"What happened," Sanji said sitting up slowly.
"Sanji you shouldn't try to move, you lost a lot of your blood," said Camie said looking worried, "This house belongs to a friend of mine," she said before hearing a metal clink.
"What the," Sanji said before noticing he was handcuffed to the bed, "Okay why am I handcuffed," he said.
"To make sure you don't go attacking Luffy again before I talk to you," Star said from the chair he was sharing with Hermione who was resting back as well.
"It's a good thing we found some doners but why did it have to take so long," Nami said letting out a sigh.
"Yeah and none of the fishmen wouldn't give us any," Luffy said before looking over at Star, "Good thing you can run fast," he said.
"Still it did take a while and earlier was the first time I used Air Force," Star said.
"You got that from my hero academia right?" Hermione asked.
"Yeah," Star said before sitting up and looking at Sanji.
"I appreciate the help but why would I want to attack Luffy," Sanji said before noticing how close the captain and navigator were sitting together. Then he remembered something, "Luffy your going to get it, how could you touch Nami like that," he said.
"Sanji what is your problem, you don't get to decide who I date," Nami said standing up looking annoyed.
"Yeah but Nami out of everyone why did it have to be that rubber idiot," Sanji said not knowing Stars fist was clenched before Hermione held it.
"Hey that's nice, you don't talk about your captain that way," Luffy said standing in front of the bed looking angry.
"Quiet Luffy, you probably don't know how to treat a woman properly anyway," Sanji said turning away looking annoyed.
"Sanji chin hes your friend," Camie said.
"Your going to far Sanji," Nami said.
"Yeah just apologize Sanji or your going to make things worse," Usopp said looking nervous.
"Or what, is he going to do the same thing he did to you back at water seven," Sanji said looking angry making Luffy look surprised.
"SANJI," Nami said looking angry before they all heard a foot slam on the floor.
"That's enough," Star said getting everyones attention and they looked surprised to see him looking angrily at Sanji, "Vinesmoke," he said making the cook look shocked.
"What," he said as memory's of his old family came to him.
"Whats Vinesmoke," Usopp said before looking surprised as Star stood up and stood in front of Sanjis bed who was looking down.
"Luffy mind if I take things from here," said Star.
"Yeah, you were the one who wanted to talk to him right," Luffy said.
"I wont be long," Star said before the bright blue light covered his body and a bright blue sphere covered him and Sanji. The straw hats looked at each other nervously while the bright blue light stopped covering Stars body.
He then pulled a chair next to Sanjis bed who was now looking up, "How much do you know," Sanji said.
"Everything, but you should know I didn't find out about this until sometime when your in the new world," said Star.
"So I'm going to run into them again, anyway we can avoid it?" Sanji asked calmly before Star shook his head no.
"Sorry, but it has to happen," Star said calmly, "You may not think it right now but I don't hate you Sanji, but we would have to go where their going anyway," he said.
"Does it have something to do with our adventure?" Sanji asked.
"If you mean the one piece then yes," said Star making him look a little surprised, "We stay where were going now, the rest of the crew will find out on their own and that's when ill share my knowledge of it," he said.
"Did you help Luffy realize his feelings for Nami?" Sanji asked calmly.
"Yes, Hermione did the same thing with Nami," Star said.
"So she really cares about him like that," Sanji said before sighing, "Would you mind uncuffing me, I wont attack you," he said before holding up the cuff.
"Sure," Star said calmly as the bright blue light covered his body before waving his right hand and the cuffs vanished, "But stay down your suppose to be resting," he said before sitting back down as the bright blue light stopped covering his body.
"I wont say anything, but you gotta let me say something to Luffy first, I wont leave the crew," said Sanji.
"Alright, also theres something else you should know when your meeting comes up," Star said, "Your gonna meet a woman who falls for you," he said smiling before the bright blue light covered his body. Sanji looked surprised as Star snapped his fingers and the sphere vanished before the bright blue light stopped covering his body.
"So how did it go ?" Nami asked looking serious.
"I'm sorry for what I said earlier," Sanji said looking down, "I understand now, but Luffy you better treat her right or ill kick your ass," he said.
"Haha, that's not going to happen," Luffy said smiling and Nami smiled as well.
"Thank you Sanji," said Nami.
"Hey now that your up you should thank the people who gave you blood," Usopp said walking over to a curtain.
"It was no problem," said one of them.
"Were all people after all," the second person said.
"Wait, some ladies saved me," Sanji said looking surprised before Star looked nervous.
"Oh no," he thought as Usopp moved the curtain revealing two men with make up on. The pirate twins Splash and Splatter.
"Hey you feeling better," one of them said.
"We could give you more blood if you need it," the second one said.
"Ahh," Sanji said before falling back shocked and passing out.
"Hey wake back up and thank them, I know I would," said Usopp.
"Just let him rest Usopp," Star said.
"Hey Luffy, I noticed something on your arm on our way over here," Chopper said before moving Luffys arm and finding a small bruise that was bleeding, "Luffy you've been poisoned," he said.
"What, Star," Nami said getting Stars attention.
"Oh he should be fine, it doesn't look like the poisons affecting him," said Star.
"Yeah it looks like his body was fighting off the poison without him even knowing it, incredible," Chopper said, "Luffy did you ever get affected by poison in the last two years," he said.
"Yeah, back when I was in impel down I fought this guy with powers, I almost died from it," said Luffy.
"Yeah and if I remember right it took several years of your lifespan to save you," Star said look serious.
"Thats right Iva saved me," Luffy said smiling.
"Iva," Nami said looking confused.
"Yeah or wait he can turn into a woman too," Hermione said looking confused.
"He was a man when Luffy and Bon met him," Star said.
"Wait did you say Bon and whos Iva?" Usopp asked looking surprised.
"Short story Bon Clay was in Impel down and Ivankov is in the revolutionary who was surprised when he learned Luffy was Dragons son," Star said.
"He was also the one who cured Luffy of the poison and fought with him during the war," said Hermione.
"Oh wait, it was the fishman with the swords from earlier who blocked me and that's when I got stung, he was really strong," Luffy said smiling.
"Could please try and be more careful," Nami said before sighing.
Meanwhile back where they were earlier. The fishman who had stung Luffy was trying to run away while carrying his two unconscious comrades. He then heard a scream from the grove.
"What are they doing now, I better get back with these two, who know knew that other guy could do that," Hyouzou said, "I accidentally hit straw with some of my poison, hic, hopefully he doesn't go dying," he said before continuing to run away.
Back at the mermaid grove, "That sounded like Ishily," one of the mermaids said.
"Where is she, Ishily," one of the mermaids said looking worried.
"I think I heard she was going to open some barrel," another mermaid said. But not far from them the barrel that the straw hats had shut was now opened.
Back at the building where some of the straw hats were, "How is the blond boy doing?" A tall mermaid asked. She had short black black hair and wore mostly dark purple.
"Oh hes fine, but I please don't go back there Madam Sharley and don't say anything to him about being near the mermaid café, Chopper saids if he will find out he will collapse again," Camie said.
"That's an odd condition," Sharley said.
"We'll that's Sanji for you, hey Luffy what are you doing," said Nami looking at Luffy and Star who were looking at a crystal spehre in a giant clam.
"Hey big lady whats this thing," Luffy said.
"It looks kind of familiar," Star said looking annoyed as he put his right hand behind his head.
"Luffy call her madam Sharley," said Camie looking nervous, "That's for fortune telling, Madma Sharley is famous for it here,".
"I gave up on it though, its better not to know the future," Sharley said smiling.
"Oh okay, oh by the way can mermaids crap," Luffy said before Nami slapped the back of his head.
"Apologize," Nami said looking furious before noticing the furious mermaid woman.
"How Vulgar," she said.
"Luffy," said Nami looking nervous.
"I'm sorry," said Luffy said looking down.
Star then snapped his fingers, "Now I remember, you made an appearance during the latest flashback storyline," he said calmly.
"What do you mean," said Camie looking confused.
"You met Gold Rodger," he said making everyone look surprised.
"Wait you met Rodger," Luffy said looking surprised.
"Yes that's right, if I remember before he left he wanted to know when the mermaid princess would be born," Shirley said now looking calm.
"Why would the king of the pirates want to know that," Nami said looking confused.
"That was before he was king though right," Hermione said before looking surprised, "Heaven wasn't that one of your favorite flashback storys," she said.
"Actually why don't you wait to find out later, Camie you can take the day off to show your friends around," Sharley said.
"Wait are you sure," said Camie.
"Yes the girls from the inlet should be here soon, we don't get many human pirates here so theres not much to do," said Sharley, "So Ill have plenty of Star helpers to help with the customers," she said.
"Star," Camie said before looking surprised, "Oh that's right, I gotta deliver the clams to Papagu," she said.
"What made you think of the clams," said Usopp looking confused.
"If your looking for Pappagu hes at the front of the café, said something about seeing an old friend," she said.
"An old friend," Camie said looking confused.
"Well lets go see him," Luffy said smiling as he headed towards the exit.
"Wait," Madam Sharley said, "Heaven Star wasn't it," she said getting Stars attention.
"You know why Rodger asked me that question don't you," she said.
"Yeah I do, like Hermione said it was my favorite flashback story, so I almost remember everything about it," said Star.
"Do you know anything else," said Sharley.
"I know some of the things that happen in the future of this world, some I hope to change," he said looking determined.
"Alright, wait maybe Pappagu found one of others," Nami said smiling before everyone headed outside of the mermaid cafe.
