Part 14: Palace under attack
In the Ryugu palace in the main room after Zolo had arrived. Neptune was chained up and the rest of the guards had been beaten. Godzilla was still the size of the room as it looked at Neptune and the guards. Making sure they didn't try anything.
"This is all just to much," Usopp said.
"Look what you've gone and done now," Pappagu said.
"Hey you all started it, were all in this together," Zolo said.
"Here I was hoping to get more shopping done, sorry about this," Nami said looking at Hermione.
"Its fine, from what I remember everything should go alright," she said calmly.
"Listen its done now and we cant take it back," Zolo said.
"Ow," Neptune said.
"It wasn't suppose to be like this, we only dropped by fishman island and now were occupying the palace," Brook said.
"So you were just going to let them take you to prison and wheres Star," Zolo said.
"He went off exploring with Luffy and left us one of his beasts to help us," Usopp said, "Also we were actually waiting for a chance to escape,".
"You don't know how to escape and we don't where Luffy and Star could have ended up," Zolo said.
"Well maybe the beast knows," Usopp said looking up at the beast that was looking at the guards.
"Sorry Usopp I don't think that's going to work, the beasts only listens to Heaven and he already was told something to do," Hermione said before noticing Nami walk over to the guards.
"Were in a hurry can you tell us," she said.
"Great, tell us where our captain and crew mate went off too," Usopp said.
"Where the palaces treasure chamber is," she said making Usopp look annoyed.
"Would you stop that," he said.
"What do you mean," she said trying to look innocent.
"Don't even try that and don't you want to know where Luffy is," he said, "Get your priorities right,".
"Hey I know Luffy can take care of himself and Hermione seems fine with Star," she said looking annoyed.
"Did I miss out on something," Zolo said looking confused.
"Oh Luffy and Nami have started dating, oh I know what we can do why dont we start singing to make everyonne feel better," Brook said as he started to sing in front of the guards. Ignoring the sword mans surprised look.
"YOUR NOT HELPING SOUL KING," Usopp yelled.
"Are you alright your majesty, I cant believe the hero of the sea has ended up like this," the minister of the right said.
"I have gotten old, I have a bad back and cannot fight, this isn't your fault," Neptune said.
"You damn pirates, when the threes princes get back here they'll make sure you never make it out of here alive," the minister of right said, "You wouldn't have stood a chance if you didn't drain out all the water,".
"We cant stay on the island anymore," Zolo said.
"You mean your leaving already," Camie said.
"But the Sunny lost its coating on its way inside," Usopp said.
"Star could make a bubble for us like when he caught me and Luffy when we arrived," Nami said, "But we also have another problem, the log pose hasn't been working right since we got here," she said looking at the log pose.
"Oh no, you wont be able to navigate through the new world with a log pose like that," the minister of left said.
"That's right, If I remember right from one of the movies Nami ends up with a different log pose in the new word," Hermione thought, "But how much of the future can I mention," she thought.
"Then how is it suppose to work," Nami said.
"Untie me and ill tell you," he said before there was loud bell sound.
"It's the princes, they've returned," the minister of right said.
Outside the entrance to the place was the three princes on a ship.
"Why isn't the water road opening," Fukaboshi said. He then took out a mini transponder snail.
"Whos this," a voice said from the snail.
"Prince Fukaboshi help us," the minister of right said.
"Would you stop it," Zolo said.
"Prince Ryuboshi, prince Manboshi help us,".
"Brother something must have happened in the palace, la ti do," Ryuboshi said.
"Is father and Shirahoshi alright," Manboshi said.
"Who is this, this is prince Fukaboshi and I ask you to open the passageway right now," he said.
"About that, we cant do that," Zolo said.
Inside the palace, "What are you doing," the minister of right said.
"Just tell the truth and face the consequences Zolo," Usopp said looking nervous.
"Hey can you tie us up, otherwise its going to look like were working with you guys," Pappagu said.
"Which one of the straw hats is this," Fukaboshi said.
"Fukaboshi, it's the straw hats swordsman with a bounty of a hundred and twenty billion berries, pirate hunter Zori," Neptune said.
"My names Zolo," Zolo said looking annoyed.
"Father," Fukaboshi said.
"Anyway you've heard, we have hostages and one of them is your father the king, if you want them to be safe you'll have to listen to our demands," Zolo said.
"Fine, what do you want, "Fukaboshi said.
"First a new coating for our ship sunny, second find the rest of our crew members, a dark haired woman with blue eyes, a raccoon dog and a perverted troll," he said.
"Perverted troll, yo ho ho," Brook said before laughing.
"Wait ask them for one billion berries too," Nami said.
"Would you get your priorities right already," Usopp said looking annoyed while Brook still laughed.
"We understand your demands, will arrange for your crew to leave the island soon and you must make sure the hostages remain safe," Fukaboshi said.
"Brother," Mamboshi said.
"We have no other choice, the water road is our only way into the palace," Fukaboshi said.
"Alright then," Zolo said.
"Wait theres one more thing, though I'm reluctant to do it now I still have to keep my promise to the former warlord of the sea Jimbei," Fukaboshi said.
"Jimbei," Neptune said as the ministers and the guards began speaking.
"I was to deliver to message to straw hat luffy," Fukaboshi said.
"Alright lets hear them," Zolo said.
"The first is to not fight Hody Jones and the second was, I will meet you in the sea forest," Fukaboshi said.
"Didn't Star say Jimbei was one of the reasons Luffy was still alive," Usopp said.
"That's right," Hermione said.
"Jimbei is well known throughout fishman island," Pappagu said.
"Hody Jones and sea forest," Zolo said.
Meanwhile back at Coral hill.
"The straw hats have shown their true colors," a merman said.
"They have taken over Ryugu palace and taken hostages,".
"That cant be right, they looked like such nice people,".
"But they are already suspected of kidnapping at the inlet and their captain was in the vision madam Sharley saw,".
"I heard one of them is staying at the mermaid café, the security force has already left to get him," a fishman said before they heard a loud noise coming from the café.
They looked to see guards being kicked into the air by Chopper who was in a different transformation.
"Kung fu point," he said hitting the guards with different fighting moves.
"It transformed and got bigger," one of the guards said.
"Sanjis still recovering so you cant go in there, take us to the palace," Chopper said before he stood ready to fight, "You just want to arrest us for nothing,".
"Hey," Sanji said walking outside with a bandage on his nose.
"Sanji what are you doing, you should be inside resting," Chopper said but Sanji ignored him and walked forward.
"Is the mermaid princess at the palace," he said.
"She should be, why do you want to know," a guard said.
"I'm going to see her," Sanji said.
"But if he's beautiful then youll die," Chopper said looking serious.
Back at the Ryugu palace in Shirahoshis room, "Wait what are you doing," she said as Drag turned into a small metal piece and went back onto the orange ring on Stars right wrist.
"Were going outside come on," Luffy said.
"Yeah it will be great," Star said smiling.
"But I cant its," Shirahoshi said.
"You wanted to go somewhere right, listen if I were you I wouldn't feel good about being stuck in here for ten years," Luffy said, "Also I owe you for the food,".
"So where do you want to go," Star said, "I remember what the place looked like but not the name," he thought.
"But if I leave now I will only cause trouble for the castle staff," Shirahoshi said.
"Don't worry it will be fine," Luffy said.
"Will make sure you get home safe so they wont worry," Star.
"The sea forest," Shirahoshi said.
"Sea forest," Luffy said.
"It's a dream, but I could never go outside," Shirahoshi said looking like she was going to cry.
"Do you have to keep crying," Luffy said.
"I'm sorry, Im trying to gather the courage but I'm nervous, please don't get angry at me," Shirahoshi said.
"This is a pain," Luffy said.
"I'm a pain," Shirahoshi said looking surprised.
"Really Luffy," Star said looking serious.
"What she has to be strong, plus we said wed protect her," Luffy said looking serious. They then looked towards the door when they heard something hitting it.
"Is that Vander Decken," Shirahoshi said.
"Is he throwing things again, that's annoying," Luffy said before noticing Stars body glow bright blue.
"Princess were going to need you get out of here now," he said knowing whats outside the room.
Inside the main room of the palace with the others. They could hear the noise, "That's coming from shell towers, Is Vander Decken throwing weapons at Shirahoshi again," Neptune said.
"Is there any guards with her?" He asked.
"No your majesty we're all here," said a guard.
"You pirates go check on my daughter now," Neptune said.
"Hes really asking us to do something even though hes the hostage," Zolo said.
"But your majesty," minister of right said.
"Please go her room isnt that far," Neptune said, "Shirahoshi is my only daughter and someone has been trying to kill her for the last ten years," he said beginning to look serious.
"If something happens to her ill chase you to the deepest depths of the sea," he said making Usopp look nervous.
"The mermaid princess, Yo ho ho, I will go see her now and protect her," Brook said before he began to run off, "I wonder if I can see her panties,".
"Oh no, I worry the princess is under some different danger now," minister of left said.
"Wait skeleton," minister of right said, "I wont ask you to untie me, but take me with you, shell tower is under my jurisdiction," he said.
"I would feel awful if something happened to her," he said.
"I see," Brook said before going back and picking him up, "You wish to see her too," he said before running off.
"What are you talking about," the minister of right said.
"Looks like I got ahead of you Sanji, yo ho ho," Brook said.
Back in Shirahoshis room, "Am I in danger," Shirahoshi said with Star and Lufy in her hands.
"Yes but don't worry will protect you," Star said.
"Ive wanted to see the sea forest for so long, but everyone said it was dangerous for me to go," she said.
"Yeah, but you'll have to show us where to go since I cant swim," Luffy said.
"Don't worry, ill make another bubble for us like I did when we got here," Star said smiling.
"Yeah but when we get out there she will stick out since shes big," Luffy said.
"I'm sorry," Shirahoshi said.
"Well my powers cant alter other peoples sizes," Star said.
"Don't worry Ive got a plan," Luffy said smiling.
Meanwhile not far from the room, "Here I come mermaid princess," Brook said.
"Wait Skeleton, look outside the room," minister of right said.
"Oh my," Brook said looking surprised.
"That Vander Decken, he didn't throw weapons or letters this time, he threw actual humans," minister of right said. In front of the door was wounded pirates from hitting against the closed door.
"Wait did you say Vander Decken," Brook said.
"Wait their standing up," minister of right said as the pirates began to stand up holding weapons. "This is impossible, the Ryugu palace has been infiltrated by pirates, the king is in danger and the princess as well,".
"Sounds like they've stopped hitting the door," Star said as he finished making a bubble for Luffy.
"Wait what about you," he said looking confused.
"Ill be fine as long as I stay like this," Star said as he brought his fist back.
"Ready to go cry baby," Luffy said.
"Yes, lets go Megalo," Shirahoshi said.
The shark looked uncomfortable.
"Ahh," Star said sending his right fist forward and sending out a large blast of air that pushed the doors open. Some of the pirates were sent flying after being hit by the door.
"Lets go shark," Luffy said as he and Star were on top of Megalo. Shirahoshi was in his mouth and her head could be seen.
"Wait Megalo," the minister of right said looking surprised.
"Wait is that Luffy and Star," Brook said sounding surprised.
